The purpose of this study was to analyse the previous color studies. A number of publications and journals were reviewed and analyzed carefully. The results of review and analysis were as follows : There were many different subjects in color studies and they were usually categorized into ten fundamental groups : color preferences, color image/symbol/association of ideas, emotion and colors, image making with colors, colors related with consumers' decision making, traditional colors, semantic color description, color plan of apparel merchandise, influential factors on colors, and color coordination preferences. In general, the color preference studies are conducted most actively, and they are followed by the studies of color image/symbol/association of ideas and traditional colors. In the previous studies on the color preferences, they provided sufficient amount of information on the preferred colors and the preferred apparel colors. however, they lacked in providing appropriate explanation on how these color preferences were related with colors in fashion. Also, there have been no thorough studies that questioned the reliability of measurement methods for obtaining color preference data. The authors also realized that it was extremely difficult to find any related publications on the studies that focus various influential variables on the disagreement between the preferred color and preferred apparel color. Thus, this study directed the future studies to solve the problem discussed above.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the color scheme based on the color image types through the color analysis of workstation furniture which is on the market. This color scheme of the workstation furniture is expected to be give the comfort to office environment when planning office. For this study, It is selected the three furniture firms that have a brand of office furniture and their web site that is showed color sample of furniture. The following researches are drawn based upon the purpose. First, the color image types of interior space is classified and the color image words that are suitable for each types is extracted based on the results of existing literature. Second, the distribution of its hue and tone is analysed after collecting the each firm's color sample of desk top, panel and chair. Third, the color image appearing in each furniture color is analysed by color image scale positioning. Forth, the color scheme of desk top, panel and chair is suggested by its color scheme palette. The result of this study is expected to help comfortable environment by providing the color scheme for selection of furniture color in work space. Not all color of each furniture is sufficient to be combined color scheme, the result is indicated that the color scheme of workstation by color image types is possible for color planning in office environment.

This study is the process of making high-definition TV broadcast color correction affects the end result comparison is focus on implement through study. In the production process and the impact on the color Correction in the video as an study for UHD, 4K, 6K video production workflow improvement of an effective program in the present and time and cost in the post production process, color correction for the final video through the production and overcome the failure of further in-efficient color correction study will help you to solve the problem. This study is the color changes over the course of the final video to see how much influence color correction of post-production. Color correction using a program of courses in Visual quality, regularly presented the possibility to retain and make on high definition video production post-production process for color correction method is utilized as the basis of study.

This study investigated that grasped the present state of high-rise apartment on Urban Street color, through the color image estimation effect of primary factor on color image preference. The range of study were high-rise apartment on Urban Street color of land for housing, Sangmu, Woonnam, Shinchang, Pungam, Ilgok, Moonheung district. The method of study put out a model of reference after photography a spot colorimeter BIB test. And the data analyzing was factor analysis, multi regression through Semantic Differential Method, questionnaire. The result of study, the present state of color was used predominate, support color is YR, Y, and stress color is YR, R. Predominate color showed distribution of high luminosity, low freshness and assistance, stress color is middle luminosity, low freshness. And effects of primary factor on color image preference were 'unification', 'comfortableness', 'sophistication'. The result of this study showed that need high luminosity color for comfortableness to improve of high-rise apartment on Urban Street color, harmony of color, harmony of vertical horizontality color scheme pattern, consult square rate of stress color.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the emotional color of home office and the trendy color with special comparison of office and library colors, and to suggest the harmony of color combination of home office based on the emotional color of this analytical data. this study, the Color Syntax Program, digital tool for color analysis of images is used. The results of this study are as follows. Firstly, the main color of home office images shows three color classifications of YR-Y, Y-GY, R-YR, and with relatively high ratios of YR-Y in the color of home offices, and B-PB, GY-G in offices and libraries. Secondly, from the point of emotional aspect, the trendy color of the home office can be classified into four color image categories: 'natural', 'peaceful', 'mild', and 'noble'. Under those categories this paper proposes 10 color harmony scheme that can be applied to color of home office interior design.

The purpose of this study is to grasp the color situation of buildings on Urban Street, through the color image evaluation to research primary factors have an effect on color image preferences. A scope of this study is district of Sang Mu in Gwangju Metropolitan City. A method of study put out evaluation model after BIB test by photography, spot color. And performed Factorial Design, Multiple Regression Analysis through SD questionnaire. The result of this study show that color situation exceedingly used YR predominates, support, stress color, in the second place used predominate, support color is B, stress color is R. Luminosity showed middle luminosity 4.1~7.0, low freshness distribution. Color image was evaluated modern and cold image and appeared affirmative aspect clean, order, neat image and showed negative aspect stiff, flat image. And 'comfortableness', 'unification' had an effect on color image preferences The result of this study showed that color plan need to improve comfortableness, unification bring control into line color at building color image of urban street.

The purpose of this study is examine the color planning in the different type of classroom to establish interior color planning. This study also uses environmental planning and practical use of basic data for color planning to future school facilities. The summary of this study is as followed. The primary school and middle school classrooms as well as the open space classrooms floor color recommended of brown and the primary school wall color is light yellow, middle school wall color is light yellow and brown. The high school classroom color is recommended brown and wall color to light yellow and green system. The recommended floor color of primary school which includes in computer room and language study room, library of the multi-purpose of media room recommended are gray, brown and pink. The recommended wall color in primary school is light gray. The middle school floor color propose gray and light brown and wall recommended color is light brown, gray, ivory with the high school the computer room, language study room and library. The floor color is recommended gray, green and the wall propose blue. Moreover, recognize that importance of color effectiveness in school interior facilities considering with Interior covering material in class room.

This study examines how the students evaluate the color of classrooms in university after remodeling. This is a elementary study, which suggests a direction of study on a criterion of color design in classroom remodeling. The study was progressed through visiting classrooms and POE(post occupancy evaluation). The results indicate that most students satisfied with color environment, and the project of remodeling has increased the level of satisfaction in comparison with before. The level of satisfaction with the color of the architectural elements was high. The level was affected by wall color, floor color and color combination with elements' color. The overall satisfaction with classroom color was correlated with all architectural elements' color. The result shows that the positive effect and insufficiency of color design in remodeling. Also it shows that the color combination is one of important factors of satisfaction of color environment.

This research is to study the functional color arrangement of work clothes based on the color chroma value arrangement, which could affect the safety of workers at the site of the mechanical industry. For the study, 5PB hue, indicating a high satisfaction level with proper colors at the site of the mechanical industry, were selected from previous research for 6 types of CAD simulation on a 2-color chroma value arrangement. To analyze the color data of each color arrangement after applying the color chroma value arrangement as well as to figure out the level of recognition on the color arrangement, an analytical result, which was based on the NCS color system, was evaluated. Furthermore, the survey study on items regarding the safety of the relevant work site for the simulated result was executed. As a result of the evaluation, the color arrangements which include high color chroma value indicated a high satisfactory level in all items under the visibility criteria for the safety of workers, propriety as a color arrangement of work clothes, and safety from the perspective of work site management. In particular, the color arrangement mixture between high color chroma obtained the highest satisfactory evaluation, indicating that the color arrangement of high color chroma is essential in the color arrangement of work clothes for the establishment of safety by adjusting the color chroma value. Yet, in order to figure out the independent function of the color chroma value, other factors are restricted in this study. Thus, it is not proper to apply the result of this study only at the actual work site. Therefore, a follow-up research centered on the tones of all three types is proposed, from which we can expect, a suggestion of the applicable color guideline for the industrial site.

This study researched about gender color preference as basic data for color application of fashion shop Facade. A HUE TONE system from V(vivid) to DK(dark) was used based on 10 colors of the IRI-120 color chart, color preference according to gender was investigated through a survey on males and females of over teenage years, and it was analyzed and presented as a color matching chart. And it was suggested as a color guideline through comprehensive analysis. Few definitions can be given through the results of this study. First, the preference degree according to gender was similar but different senses were shown visually even though the same adjective expressive vocabulary of a color image was suggested. This means there is an unchanging basic conservative disposition that males and females do not have and therefore they infer different ideas according to various environments and factors. Second, females showed more sensitive response to colors than males in the gender color preference result, which confirmed the deviation of each color group that is characteristically preferred according to a category. Third, high preferred color matches according to gender were shown for each vocabulary in various senses such as similar color matching, complementary color matching, separation color matching, and accent color matching. A universal empirical theory by general sensibility was obtained as the purpose of this study. This study suggested securement of a color design planning as basic data and the extent of usability by quantitatively showing the order of priority through the survey and analysis. Thus, the results of this study will be a great help as basic data for invigoration and commercialization of a color planning for designers and users.
