탠덤 방식 컬러 레이저 프린터의 이미지 향상 방법 (Improving Image Quality Method in Tandem-type Color Laser Printers)

  • The image quality of the color laser printer is highly related with the motion quality of actuators. However, the high precision system requires high production costs in general. The proposed design method in this paper improves image quality without increasing production costs. Using the synchronization method, time gap between exposure and transfer in organic photo conductive (OPC) drum and the period of driving gear revolution are synchronized. The proposed method is verified by computer simulations and experiment, and showed by printed images.

  • The NDT using ultrasonic is largely divided into A-Scan and C-Scan methods. Since A-Scan method is subject to subjective judgement by trained personnel, C-Scan method has been introduced, which presents the weld area in two dimensions by placing the transducers two dimensionally used in the A-Scan method. Therefore, it is necessary to develop equipment that can provide weld quality without the help of a welding expert and the presentation of effective C-Scan images. Thus, in this paper, the algorithms that express a low resolution 2-dimensional gray image formed by C-Scan method as a high-resolution color C-Scan image and automatically determine the weld quality from the generated C-Scan color image. The high resolution color C-Scan images proposed in this paper allow the exact shape of the weld point to be expressed, and an objective algorithm to use this image to automatically determine weld quality.

비닐색이 라운드베일 목초 사일리지의 품질에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Wrap Colors on the Quality of Round Baled Grass Silage)

  • 본 시험은 비닐색이 목초 라운드베일 사일라 지의 품질에 미치는 영향을 구명하기 위하여 축산연구소에서 2년간 수행되었다. 라운드베일 목초 사일리지를 만들기 위해 사용한 비닐의 색을 백색, 흑색, 녹색 등 3 처리를 두고 각각 3롤의 라운드베일 사일리지를 조제하였다. 비닐 색에 따른 일반성분 함량의 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 사일리지의 pH에 있어서 백색이 다른 처리구보다 유의적으로 낮았으며 흑색과 녹색은 유의성이 없었다(p<0.05). 건물 함량은 녹색 처리구에서 가장 높았으나 유의성은 나타나지 않았다(p<0.05). 초산과 낙산 함량은 비닐색간에 유의성이 없었으며 젖산 함량도 차이가 없었다. 사일리지의 품질 등급과 건물 손실율 역시 비닐색간에는 차이를 보이지 않았다. 따라서 이상의 결과를 종합하여 볼 때 라운드베일 사일리지 조제시 비닐색은 사일리지의 품질에 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

Comparison between the Color Properties of Whiteness Index and Yellowness Index on the CIELAB

  • The color properties of a white or nearly colorless fabric are represented by whiteness index (WI) or yellowness index (YI). These two indexes relate to a white fabric's color quality. The purpose of this study was to identify the properties of WI and YI on the CIELAB through the simulations of estimation data for a systemization of color quality control. The results indicated that the relationship between WI and YI was a negative correlation, however the coefficients of correlation function between WI and YI were depended on hue. There were two hue transition points of the rate of changes in WI and YI. These hue transition points were the reference points to divide the hue contribution to WI and YI. These points were not the point of h=0 and h=180 and asymmetric. In addition, where the colors were same distance from the white point on the CIELAB, the rate of changes in WI and YI by ${\Delta}$Ew were depending on hue. Specifically, when WI decreased, YI of reddish and yellowish tinted colors decreased more than bluish tinted colors.

  • 본 논문에서는 단일 센서 디지털 카메라를 위한 디모자이킹 기술에서의 보간법 성능을 분석하고자 한다. 디모자이킹 기술에 사용되는 보간법들 중에서 상대적으로 복잡도가 낮고 영상 화질이 우수한 방법들인 BI(bilinear interpolation), ACPI(adaptive color plane interpolation), ECI(effective color interpolation), Ideal ACPI, EECI(Enhanced effective color interpolation)를 선택하여 분석한다. 각 방법들의 알고리즘을 소개하고 각 알고리즘에 대한 실험을 수행한다. 이 실험은 24개의 코닥 이미지를 이용하여 객관적인 영상 화질과 수행속도를 비교 평가한다. 실험 결과로 ECI가 복잡도 대비 영상 화질이 우수하다는 것을 보여준다.

당의 종류와 첨가량에 따른 콩설기의 품질 특성 변화 (Changes in the Quality Characteristics of Kongsulgidduk According to the Amount of Sugar Added and the Type of Sweeteners Used)

  • This study was conducted to improve the quality of Kongsulgidduk prepared with soyflour and sweeteners. The quality was affected by the type of sweeteners used (sugar, syrup, honey), as well as the amount used (5-20%). Rheological properties showed that when more sugar was added to Kongsulgidduk, the hardness, gumminess and brittleness were lower. In addition, more than 10% sugar led to a significant decrease in hardness, gumminess and brittleness. The addition of honey increased the hardness, but decreased cohesiveness and brittleness of Kongsulgidduk. When color was evaluated, the L-value and a-value decreased, but the b- value increased as sugar was added. The addition of honey resulted in a decreased L-value. Sensory evaluation revealed that the addition of sugar resulted in better overall quality. The color score was highest when 5% sugar was added, while the flavor, moisture and chewiness scores were best when 10% sugar was added. Sweetness and consistency were good when 20% sugar was added. Honey improved the color, flavor and chewiness of Kongsulgidduk; however, sugar produced the best moisture, consistency and overall scores.

인간의 색인지감도에 근거한 컬러 영상 팔레트 구성 (Color Image Palette Construction Based on Human Color Perception)

  • 팔레트 (palette)를 사용하는 컬러 색인 영상 (indexed color image)에서 손상된 팔레트의 색인값을 수신단에서 복원 영상의 심각한 화질 저하를 초래한다. 본 논문에서는 컬러에 대한 인간의 감지 특성을 이용해 화질 저하 및 복원 오차를 최소화하는 컬러 영상 팔레트를 제안하였다. 팔레트 구성 알고리듬의 성능을 비교하기 위해 새로운 평가함수를 정의하였으며, 컴퓨터 모의 실험을 통해 비트 오류 상황하에서 제안한 방법의 효율성을 보였다.

JPEG 재압축이 컬러 이미지 품질에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A study on the effect of JPEG recompression with the color image quality)

  • Joint photographic experts group (JPEG) is a standard still-image compression technique, established by the international organization for standardization (ISO) and international telecommunication standardization sector (ITUT). The standard is intended to be utilized in the various kinds of color still imaging systems as a standard color image coding format. Because JPEG is a lossy compression, the decompressed image pixel values are not the same as the value before compression. Various distortions of JPEG compression and JPEG recompression has been reported in various papers. The Image compressed by JPEG is often recompressed by same type compression method in JPEG. In general, JPEG is a lossy compression and the quality of compressed image is predicted that is varied in according to recompression Q-factor. In this paper, four difference color samples(photo image, gradient image, gradient image, vector drawing image, text image) were compressed in according to various Q-factor, and then the compressed images were recompressed according to various Q-factor once again. As the result, this paper evaluate the variation of image quality and file size in JPEG recompression and recommed the optimum recompression factor.

백삼분말의 살균 및 저장조건에 따른 관능적 품질 특성 (Organoleptic Quality of White Ginseng Powder as Influenced by Different Conditions of Decontamination and Storage)

  • Organoleptic qualities were evaluated putting emphasis on flavor and color of white ginseng powders which were treated with ethylene oxide(EO) and gamma radiation(5, 10kGy) for microbial decontaminations. Immediately after treatments, there was no significant changes in the overall flavor and color of the samples between the nontreated control and both treatments. The color of even airtight-packaged samples, however, was changed(p<0.05) after 7 months of storage at 30$\pm$2$^{\circ}C$ when treated with EO and 10 kGy. These changes in color were confirmed by the instrumental determinations for the stored samples. Thus, it can be proposed that gamma Irradiation below 10kGy combined with airtight packaging is required for keeping the organoleptic quality of white ginseng powders for more than 6 months of storage.
