염색폐수 처리를 위한 미생물 선별 및 염료 탈색 (Isolation of Dye-degrading Microbes for the Treatment of Dyeing Wastewater and Dye Decoloring)

  • 동두천과 반월공단에서 87가지의 균주를 분리하였다. 그 중 5가지 균주가 색도 제거율이 우수함을 보였으며, 동정을 통해 Shewanella putrefaciens, Aeromonas salmonicida(서로 다른 3종), Pseudomonas vesicularis로 각각 동정되었다. 동정된 5종의 미생물들은 성장에 최적인 pH와 온도는 각각 7.0과 30$^{\circ}C$이었으며, Gram negative, catalase nagative, rod shape, 그리고 비운동성을 보였다. 500 mL 플라스크에서 분리된 균주 중 단일균주를 사용하여 염색폐수를 처리한 경우 약 35%의색도 제거율을 보였다. 2균주를 조합하여 적용하였을 때는, 색도 제거율이 65%까지 증가한 반면, 3균주 조합 혹은 그 이상의 균주 조합에서는 2균주 조합보다 더 좋은 효율은 보이지 않았다. 염색폐수 분해시 $Mn^{2+},\;Fe^{3+}$와 같은 중금속의 영향을 조사하였는데, 70 ppm 이하의 농도에서는 별로 영향을 주지 않았다.

상업공간 플라워 디스플레이의 계절별 색채이미지에 관한 연구 (A Study on Seasonal Color Image of Flower Display in Commercial Spaces)

  • 국내외 대표적 상업공간인 백화점과 호텔, 판매장의 플라워 소재를 사용한 계절별 디스플레이 사례의 색채분석과 설문조사를 통해, 플라워 디스플레이를 진행하는 과정에서 소재의 출시 계절, 형태, 질감에 의존하던 기존의 방식에서 벗어나 계절에 적합한 배색과 감성형용사를 적용한 색채계획 필요성을 인식하고 효과적인 배색을 적용하도록 하는데 있다. 연구방법은 수집한 48개의 국내외 상업공간 플라워 디스플레이 사례에 사용된 색채를 분석하였다. 이를 토대로 1차 전문가 설문을 통해 사례에서 연상되는 형용사 추출 및 계절감 좌표를 수집한 뒤 2차 일반인 설문으로 추출한 감성형용사의 적합성을 검토하였다. 봄, 여름, 가을, 겨울의 대표적인 색상, 톤을 추출하였고 계절별 감성형용사 언어도 알아보았다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 플라워 소재의 형태나 질감에만 의존하여 진행되던 플라워 디스플레이에서 색채계획이 선(先) 진행되어야 목적한 감성디자인을 연출할 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

Music Visualization Expression in Modern Fashion - Focus on the application of Mondrian's paintings to Alexander McQueen's 2014 Spring Ready-to-wear Collection -

  • This study analyzes music visualization characteristics in modern fashion based on Wassily Kandinsky's music visualization theory. Alexander McQueen's 2014 Spring Ready-to-wear Collection (as inspired by Mondrian's paintings) was selected as the research subject. First, an analysis of Mondrian's paintings based on Wassily Kandinsky's theory shows that music visualization characteristics can be categorized into spatiality, mobility, and duality. Second, McQueen applied Mondrian's paintings to the overall design, structured the model's shape in the painting, or created patterns using colors and lines that introduced them in clothes; symbolic forms were also introduced as part of or a decorative factor of the clothes. Third, spatiality refers to the creation of a feeling of space through emptiness or fill using lines, colors, and shape. Musical atmosphere such as dissonance were expressed in clothing through the application of color contrast, lines and silhouette dynamics, and symbolic format and patterns by Mondrian. Fourth, mobility generally refers to motion caused by a certain stimulus. Mondrian expressed vibration, internal resonance, sound level in music that emphasized color irregularity, primary color contrast, and rough brush touches as well as free and organic patterns. McQueen expressed this with primary color contrast using different materials, rough touch based on texture, and pattern repetition through transformation. Fifth, duality generally refers to the artistic effect caused by overlap. Mondrian created a resemblance of dissonance and music through line and color as expressed through the duality of clothing design components based on the artistic sense of the designer.

이집트 복식의 재해석을 통한 미적 특성에 따른 조형적 특성에 관한 연구 (The Aesthetic and Formative Characteristics of Egypt Retro Trends)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide a formative charateristics by analyzing aesthetic charateristics of Egypt costume expressed in contemporary fashion. The result of this study obtained through this process were as follows. Aesthetic characteristics were expressed as a primative-retro characteristics, and a erotic-retro characteristics and a decorative-retro characteristics. Based on these trends, this study analyzed formative charateristics in an aspect of form, color, material, and decoration. In the modern fashion, unlike the H-line silhouette given by a natural fit in the primitive retro, the erotic retro was characterized in the shape by a tight H-line silhouette. For the color, peach, yellow green, gold, light blue, red, and black were used as the main color. For the material, see-through, gauze, mesh, organdy, and tight vinyl were utilized to emphasize an erotic image and expose a body secretly. For the decoration, the characteristic of erotic retro using the simple or same colors frequently was the use of similar accessories colors matched with material colors. The decorative retro was characterized in the shape by a H-line silhouette connected as a part of clothing which applied passium and a greatly modified silhouette from an Egyptian simple style which was well-matched with splendid accessories. For the color, the broadest range of color changes was found from light pastel such as white, yellow, light pink, burnt orange, blue, purple, silver, gold, and red to strong vivid tones. For the material, modern materials such as organdy, tulle, leather, and furs were often used. For the decoration, passium, an eagle pattern, scarab earrings, a crown, a sneak-shaped coronet, and pictograph printed on the fabric were frequently used.

영상 분할을 이용한 영역기반 내용 검색 알고리즘 (Region-based Content Retrieval Algorithm Using Image Segmentation)

  • 영상 정보의 이용이 증가함에 따라 영상을 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 시스템의 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라, 본 논문에서는 영상 분할 알고리즘, 색상 특성, 질감, 그리고 영상의 형태와 위치 정보의 효율적인 결합에 근거한 영역기반 내용 검색 알고리즘을 제안한다. 색상 특징으로는 색상의 공간적인 상관관계를 잘 나타내는 HSI 색상 히스토그램을 선택하였고, 영상의 분할과 질감특성은 각각 Active control와 CWT(Complex wavelet transform)를 사용하였다. 그리고 형태와 위치 특징들은 HSI의 휘도 성분에서 불변 모멘트를 이용하여 추출하였다. 효율적인 유사도 측정을 위해 추출된 특징(색상 히스토그램, Hu 불변 모멘트, CWT)을 결합하여 정확도와 재현율을 측정하였다. www. freefoto.com에서 제공하는 DB를 사용하여 실험한 결과, 제안된 검색엔진은 94.8%의 정확도와 82.7%의 재현율을 가지며 성공적으로 영상 검색 시스템에 응용할 수 있다.

  • 본 논문에서는 웹 기반의 의료 정보를 제공하기 위한 한방 진단 시스템 중 얼굴형 및 혀 영역 추출, 설색 분석 방법에 대해 제안한다. 이는 초 고령화 사회를 맞아 의료 혜택의 대중화와 보편화가 사회적 요구 사항으로 대두되고 있으며 이를 IT 기술로 구현하기 위해 웹 기반의 망진 및 설진을 이용한 의료 정보를 제공하는 시스템을 구축하고자 한다. 통상 인체의 생체 신호를 반영하여 나타내어 주는 곳은 홍채나 혀, 오관 등이 있다. 이 중 본 논문은 개발하고자 하는 웹 기반의 질병 진단 중 관형과 찰색을 위한 얼굴형의 분류, 오관 영역의 주출과 영양분할 그리고 인간의 생체 신호가 집약적으로 나타나 있는 혀에 대해 설색을 추출하는 방법 등에 대해 제안하고자 한다. 끝으로 실험에 의해 제안한 방법의 유용성을 입증하고자 한다.

현재하는 한국 재래성의 형질특성 (Characteristics of Korean native strains in the domesticated silkworm, Bombyx mori)

  • The objective of this research was to characterize of the silkworm that might be recognized to the Korean native strains. The eleven strains of Korean race used in this study, which is cultured in Korea and Japan seri-cultural research organs. Most of Korean varieties were three molting and univoltine, comparatively longer larval duration than the trimolter general. The egg characters of varieties showed short-eliptic shape and dark brown egg color except for a few varieties which shows greenish dark brown. Also, most of varieties were showed the plain(p) and moricaud( $p_{M}$) in larval markings. Moric marking of the varieties also consist of innumerable dark grayish brown lines and dots, though somewhat darker and lighter than that of the wild silkworm, Bombyx mandarina. Cocoon characters variations of varieties were seen in the size, color and shape. 8 varieties were colored cocoon, i.e., yellow, greenish yellow and light green etc., the others were white cocon. The shape of cocons were consisted of constricted shallowly in the middle and attenuated at one or both ends of cocoon, i.e., spindle. The results of this study is sufficient evidence that Korean strains were shown as the one of regional origin strain of domesticated silkworm such as the Chinese and Japanese etc.c.

  • The fringe-field switching (FFS) mode was known to exhibit both a wide viewing angle and high transmittance, especially when using the liquid crystal (LC) with negative dielectric anisotropy. In the device, the LC director rotates almost in-plane. However, in the bright state the device shows bluish and yellowish color along parallel and perpendicular to the LC director at off-normal directions since the LC director rotates only in one direction. Such a problem was greatly improved using a wedge shape of only pixel electrodes. In this way two different field directions exist in a pixel, enabling the LC director to rotate in two opposite directions. Consequently, owing to dual domain effect when using the LC with negative dielectric anisotropy, the viewing angle characteristics are greatly improved.

Visual Semantic Based 3D Video Retrieval System Using HDFS

  • This paper brings out a neoteric frame of reference for visual semantic based 3d video search and retrieval applications. Newfangled 3D retrieval application spotlight on shape analysis like object matching, classification and retrieval not only sticking up entirely with video retrieval. In this ambit, we delve into 3D-CBVR (Content Based Video Retrieval) concept for the first time. For this purpose we intent to hitch on BOVW and Mapreduce in 3D framework. Here, we tried to coalesce shape, color and texture for feature extraction. For this purpose, we have used combination of geometric & topological features for shape and 3D co-occurrence matrix for color and texture. After thriving extraction of local descriptors, TB-PCT (Threshold Based- Predictive Clustering Tree) algorithm is used to generate visual codebook. Further, matching is performed using soft weighting scheme with L2 distance function. As a final step, retrieved results are ranked according to the Index value and produce results .In order to handle prodigious amount of data and Efficacious retrieval, we have incorporated HDFS in our Intellection. Using 3D video dataset, we fiture the performance of our proposed system which can pan out that the proposed work gives meticulous result and also reduce the time intricacy.

1890년${\sim}$1960년대 여자 저고리 감정 (The Appraisal of Female Jackets from the Period of $1890s{\sim}1960s$)

  • Due to the inflow of the western culture since the 19th century, female skirts and jackets have been changed considerably in detail though their basic composition was maintained. The analysis on female jackets from the start of the modern period to 1960s has been undertaken with artefacts as well as reports and research dissertations related to them. For period appraisal, analysis was divided into several periods which are from 1890s to 1910s, and every 10 years afterwards. As a result, aspects for the appraisal in each period was found. Aspects for period appraisal in modern jackets can be a change in total length and side length, a change in shape of the sleeves (from straight to round), a change in width, and a difference in closed shape of the collars. Material and color can be another aspect which shows fashionable material or new materials (man-made textile or nylon) of each period, color combination of surface and lining material as well as other parts of the jacket, use of a stiffener made with net or sheer textiles. Research using books and archives is important for the appraisal of the garment artifact. However, most of all, one should have the attitude of examining the artifacts frequently in order to achieve deeper understanding and an eye for accurate appraisal.
