This study is to setup a mathematics PBL model that is right for elementary students. PBL models are developed and applied to actual courses and analyzed. So, a specific plan and practical understanding of PBL mathematics textbooks will be presented. But in order for this to happen, first the mathematics PBL model, that can realize 7th revised curriculum's goal, needs to setup and divided into knowledge, skill and attitude domains. Through this study, the general PBL model and the PBL model appropriate for elementary mathematics was amended and supplemented, this was then applied to courses and analyzed, and the below conclusions were realized. First, mathematical idealization stage is needed for mathematical PBL model. Since an elementary student is shortcoming in problem understanding and mathematical activity, a middle step that allows the student to understand the problem situation mathematizing and find a solution mathematically is desperately needed. Therefore, in this study, we named it the mathematical idealization stage and had it setup. Second, a mathematics information collection stage needs to be prepared for a successful PBL. Through this stage, the students will have an opportunity to gather the necessary information needed and restructure it to solve the problem. Third, the organization stage in mathematical PBL model needs to be strengthened. PBL is not just completed, through the best use of mathematics subject matter to solve the problem. Organization time is needed to allow the students to grow to a more deepened and advanced level. In conclusion, there is significance in providing a specific plan for mathematical PBL model, which can be seen through this study on applying and analyzing elementary mathematics and appropriate PBL models.
Among the samples prepared by various pre-treatment methods, the one pretreated by dilute sulfuric acid showed the highest glucose yield in the enzymatic hydrolysis. Statistical analysis of enzymatic hydrolysis revealed that the glucose yield was in proportion to the enzyme dosage, the ratio of the pre-treated sample to the buffer solution, and the reaction time and that the effect of enzyme dosage was predominant in the experiment range. In addition, the glucose yield was estimated to be 76.1% at an optimal enzymatic hydrolysis condition. In a separate hydrolysis and fermentation (SHF), Saccharomyces cerevisiae converted over 80% of glucose from the enzymatic hydrolysis of pre-treated wasted corn stalk by dilute sulfuric acid to bioethanol with 37% of ethanol yield and 0.42 $g/L{\cdot}hr$ of productivity. In the simultaneous saccharification and fermentation (SSF), 59.5% of conversion from glucan to ethanol and 0.20 $g/L{\cdot}hr$ of productivity were achieved. In both SHF and SSF, approximately 88 g of bioethanol could be obtained from 1 kg of wasted corn stalk. The possible amount of bioethanol in Gangwon province were estimated to be 1.9 kiloton with the assumption of the 50% of collection ratio.

The western cherry fruit fly, Rhagoletis indifferens Curran (Diptera:Tephritidae), is the most important pest of cultivated cherries in the Pacific Northwest area of the United States, being widely distributed throughout Oregon, Washington, Montana, Utah, Idaho, Colorado and parts of Nevada. The control of R. indifferens has been based on calendar sprays after its first emergence because of their zero tolerance for quarantine. Therefore, a good prediction model is needed for the spray timing. This study was conducted to obtain the empirical population dynamic information of R. indifferens after overwintering in the major cherry growing area of the Pacific Northwest of the United States, where the information is critically needed to develop and validate the prediction model of the fruit fly. Adult fly populations were monitored by using yellow sticky and emergence traps. Larvae growth and density in fruits were observed by fruit sampling and the pupal growth and density were monitored by pupal collection traps. The first adult was emerged around mid May and a large number of adults were caught in early June. A fruit had more than one larva from mid June to early July. A large number of pupae were caught in early July. The pupae were collected in various period of time to determine the effect of pupation timing and the soil moisture content during the winter. A series of population density data collected in each of the developmental stage were analyzed and organized to provide more reliable validation information for the population dynamic models.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the problems arising from the actual conditions of the Foodbank, and to implement the HACCP system as a solution in terms of increasing the safety of donated food within the Foodbank. In order to apply HACCP system, the entire Foodbank working process such as preparation, collection, transportation, division, and distribution was considered and analyzed to decide the application point for CCPs. Donated foods mainly consisted of processed foods, raw materials, lunch boxes, and cooked foods from mass catering establishments, which dominated over the others in terms of quantity. Cooked foods were divided into three groups based on menu-types and processing methods. Temperature, pH, and aw were measured on cooked foods, and Total Plate Count, Coliforms, E. coli, Salmonella spp., Staphylococcus aureus, Listeria monocytogenes, and E. coli O157:H7 were conducted in order to apply a HACCP plan. From these experiments, temperature, pH, and $a_w$ of donated food were likely contributed to microbial growth. Donated foods before HACCP implementation showed high numbers in terms of total plate count and Coliforms, both well over the acceptable standard levels. By setting the CCPs on maintenance of donated food below $10^{\circ}C$ and using a $75^{\circ}C$ reheating method, microbiological hazard levels were able to be controlled and lowered. From these results, it is concluded that in order to guarantee food safety, foods donated to the Foodbank must not only maintain a reasonable level of initial microbiological growth, but also must be handled properly through time and temperature controls within the Foodbank system. Furthermore, in terms of implementing the HACCP plan within the Foodbank management structure, basic food safety and sanitation measures, such as reheating facilities and various cold chain systems such as refrigerated vehicle for food transportation are importantly needed. The training and education of Foodbank personnel and management in areas such as awareness of hygiene and safe food handling and practice are also required and necessary.
Prediction of semen's fertilizing ability used in artificial insemination (AI) is one of very important factors on pig reproductive performance. In vitro fertilization (IVF) has been used for indirect evaluation of sperm's fertilizing ability and it has been showed as highly correlated index. In swine industry, increasing interest in preservation of boar semen raises questions on the sperm motility from semen used in commercial AI centers. Mitochondria in sperm mid-piece generate the energy to support motility and could be an explanation of impaired fertility. Objective of this study was to suggest usable sperm motility to farms in measuring the effect of sperm motility and sperm abnormality on in vitro production of embryo in which sperm's fertilizing ability can be determined indirectly. Semen samples were provided from local AI center and used within 3 days after collection. Semen samples were divided by 4 different motile groups (>70%; 61~70%; 51~60%; <50%) using CASA (computer-assisted sperm analysis) on the days of IVF. Developmental rate to the blastocyst stage from over 61% motile sperm group showed significantly higher rate than below 60% motile sperm group ($16.5{\pm}0.7{\sim}18.4{\pm}0.8%$ vs $6.3{\pm}0.8{\sim}11.5{\pm}0.7%$, p<0.05). In experiment to determine the relationship between sperm motility and viability and abnormality, over 61% motile sperm groups showed significantly higher viability rate compared to below 60% motile sperm groups ($84.8{\pm}4.0{\sim}88.1{\pm}4.0%$ vs $69.1{\pm}4.0{\sim}74.2{\pm}4.0%$, p<0.05). On the other hand, morphological sperm abnormality showed significantly higher in over 70% motile sperm group ($10.2{\pm}2.2$ vs $16.0{\pm}2.2{\sim}21.0{\pm}2.2%$, p<0.05). In experiment to find the correlation between sperm motility of 4 different motile groups and amount of mitochondria, lower motility group also showed lower level of mitochondria (p<0.05). The mitochondria parameter used in this study showed another possibility to differentiate the sperm motility. Taken together, because below 60% motile semen used in AI reduce the fertility, AI centers should provide the over 60% motile sperm to the farms at the time of AI.
The seedlings of the scallop, Patinopecten yessoensis, which were collected in April 1980, April 1981 and May 1981, and the grown-up scallops collected in the sea bottom in November 1979, were reared by hanging method up to the July 1981. The growth of the seedlings collected in April 1980 was greatly affected by the time of the seedling collection, manipulation of the net cage, density in the net cage and the annual water temperature fluctuation. The scallops reared from the spat collected in April 1980 reached the sizes of 0.33 mm, 1.23 mm, 29.34 mm and 59.59 mm in shell length in 40,75, 285 and 450 days respectively. Since then, growth rate was determined as follows based on the age estimated by the year rings on the shell:84.96mm in 19 months, 99.3mm in 31, 112.3mm in 37 and 113.64mm in 43 months. The meat and the adductor muscle weight increased with the shell length. The meat weight roached about 15g when the shell length was 60-70mm and about 94.13 g when 130-140mm, and the adductor muscle weight reached about 4.89 g when the shell length was 60-70 mm and about 39.59g when 120-130 mm. But the growths of the meat and the adductor muscle weight were in stagnancy after scallops reached 125 mm in shell length.

The Financial Cost in construction industry today is tend to increasing the burden of business management on account of lowered profit due to the mege-competition and decreasing investment of construction, multi-interfacing. system in it's attribute and various unreasonable governeing enactments. It is becoming the most important aspects for the management of construction business on how to preserve the profit from the various risks. The ultimate aims of this study is to pursue the contractual equity between the parties by establishing the fundamentals of framework for the compensation of Financial Charges through the review of the precedent studies and analysis of inquiries. As a result of the study, improvable measures for any practical inequality and/or institutional defects of current public contract system in recovering the Financial Cost incurred to Contractor are delivered as below; (1) $\lceil$Working Rules for Construction Industry Accounting Standards$\rfloor$ shall be amended and supplemented so as the incurred interest to be recognized as an operative cost by live return over the collection period. (2) The long-term phase contract system of which is enforcing contractor to bear the certain losses shall be diminished and/or abolished gradually. (3) The unreasonable legislations on compensation for financial cost in contract conditions shall be improved in response to practical circumstances. (4) The use of Critical-Path Method for Time Management shall be activated together with EVMS. (5) Independent application of Contract Enactments for construction industry shall be adopted.

One of the important competencies in knowledge and information society is the competency of Knowledge information processing. This is closely related to science education and described as one of the core competencies in the 2015 national curriculum revision. Even with a general agreement of the educational necessity of this competency, its practice in class depends mostly on teachers' will. Therefore, we surveyed science teachers' perceptions and classroom condition about the competency of Knowledge information processing, and we analyzed the questionnaires of 64 middle and high school teachers in Seoul and interviewed three teachers. As a result, all teachers shared the importance of Knowledge information processing competency and explained it in terms of social paradigm and goal of the subject. However, there were not many cases of actual practice in class. The teachers answered that time for Knowledge information processing competency is not enough in class and they also lack of PCK on this competency. About half of the teachers had experiences in teacher training about Knowledge information processing competency but most of their experiences are related to information utilization literacy. The importance of Knowledge information processing competency was very high in three factors (collection, analyzation, and utilization), among which information analysis was the highest. Middle school teachers showed higher scores in most questions even though the differences were not significant, and high school teachers showed higher scores in the importance of information sources at a significant level. In order to cultivate competencies, it is necessary to expand the meaning of science inquiry so as to cover this competency and to consider ways of linking with other subjects and develop methods of teaching and learning.

This study investigates the interaction mechanisms and processes between cyber space and real space. In particular, we analyze the relationships between changes on the economic landscape of the Bookchon region and the information supply and demand for this area on the Internet Blogs. In order to obtain the behavioral data about how people get information for Bookchon area and the reaction afterward, we perform questionnaire survey. The results of analysis reveal that there are significant connection between real space and cyber space, Internet Blog in particular. Internet Blog is the major media obtaining information about Bookchon area for major portion of people. Most people visit Bookchon after searching informations about it via Internet Blog. In particular, young generations who possess better capability to treat social media. At the same time, female, student, and office workers show these attitudes very strongly. We introduce a conceptual model for the interaction processes between cyber space and real space based on the survey data analysis, and propose a simple theoretical model for the dynamics of the total number of visitors about specific place with the experience of cyber space visit.
Three species of powdery mildew (Erysiphales) on eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) have been listed in Korea, namely Erysiphe cichoracearum (now genus Golovinomyces), Leveillula taurica, and Sphaerotheca fusca (now genus Podosphaera; syn. Podosphaera xanthii). Since E. cichoracearum was recorded on eggplant for the first time in Korea in 1969, it has been regarded as a major powdery mildew agent on that plant. In 1998, the causal agent of powdery mildew on eggplant was recorded as L. taurica, then as S. fusca in 2002. During our extensive field surveys in Korea, we collected 22 samples of eggplant powdery mildews. Our microscopic observations and molecular sequence analyses showed that all of our samples belonged to the genus Podosphaera, in the absence of either E. cichoracearum or L. taurica, suggesting that P. xanthii is the dominant agent of powdery mildew disease on eggplants in Korea. As there have been no additional findings on L. taurica after the first report on the species, it seems to be a minor species that is rarely found in greenhouses. The presence of E. cichoracearum (syn. Golovinomyces cichoracearum s. lat.) on eggplants is questionable, as the morphological characteristics of E. cichoracearum in the original description of the Korean collection deviate from the morphological variations of this species. In addition, no herbarium material of E. cichoracearum remains. Consequently, it seems that P. xanthii is the main species of powdery mildew on eggplants, whereas L. taurica occurs rarely on eggplants, in Korea. This review provides the historical and recent taxonomy of eggplant powdery mildews in detail.
