COVID-19 아카이브를 위한 기록 수집 방안 연구 (A Study on Methods of Collecting Records for COVID-19 Archives)

  • COVID-19 아카이브는 재난 아카이브의 일종으로서 재난에 관한 기록을 수집하기 위해서는 재난 발생과 복구 과정에서 실시간으로 생산되는 기록을 수집하는 과정이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구는 국내외 COVID-19 아카이브 현황을 파악하기 위해 재난 아카이브 관련 정의와 목적을 정리하고, COVID-19 아카이브 수집 정책 수립에 참고가 될 수 있는 해외 재난 아카이브 수집 정책을 살펴보았다. 또한 국내외에서 관련 아카이브를 구축·운영하는 기관을 대상으로 설문조사와 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 이를 통해 수집 정책과 수집 방법에 대한 개선의 필요성이 존재함을 인식하고 COVID-19 아카이브를 위한 기록 수집 방안을 다음과 같이 제안하였다. 첫째, 수집 정책 수립을 위해 설문조사에서 확인된 보편적인 요소들을 추가적으로 제안할 수집 정책 요소로 선정하였다. 둘째, 참여자 집단의 다양화를 위해 수집 대상의 명확한 정의 도입과 유관 부서와의 협력을 통한 기록콘텐츠 제작 등 홍보 방식의 다각화, 기록기증에 제한이 되는 저작권 관련 사항의 개선을 제안하였다. 셋째, 참여형 기록 수집 방식의 도입과 이에 따른 참여양식의 효과적인 설계, 개인정보보호 관련 사항의 개선이 필요함을 제시하였다.

웹 페이지 비교통합 기반의 정보 수집 시스템 설계 및 개발에 대한 연구 (A Study on Design and Development of Web Information Collection System Based Compare and Merge Method)

  • Recently, the quantity of information that is accessible from the Internet is being dramatically increased. Searching the Web for useful information has therefore become increasingly difficult. Thus, much research has been done on web robots which perform internet information filtering based on user interest. If a web site which users want to visit is found, its content is searched by following the searching list or Web sites links in order. This search process takes a long time according as the number of page or site increases so that its performance need to be improved. In order to minimize unnecessary search with web robots, this paper proposes an efficient information collection system based on compare and merge method. In the proposed system, a web robot initially collects information from web sites which users register. From the next visit to the web sites, the web robot compares what it collected with what the web sites have currently. If they are different, the web robot updates what it collected. Only updated web page information is classified according to subject and provided to users so that users can access the updated information quickly.

CAWR: Buffer Replacement with Channel-Aware Write Reordering Mechanism for SSDs

  • A typical solid-state drive contains several independent channels that can be operated in parallel. To exploit this channel-level parallelism, a variety of works proposed to split consecutive write sequences into small segments and schedule them to different channels. This scheme exploits the parallelism but breaks the spatial locality of write traffic; thus, it is able to significantly degrade the efficiency of garbage collection. This paper proposes a channel-aware write reordering (CAWR) mechanism to schedule write requests to different channels more intelligently. The novel mechanism encapsulates correlated pages into a cluster beforehand. All pages belonging to a cluster are scheduled to the same channels to exploit spatial locality, while different clusters are scheduled to different channels to exploit the parallelism. As CAWR covers both garbage collection and I/O performance, it outperforms existing schemes significantly. Trace-driven simulation results demonstrate that the CAWR mechanism reduces the average response time by 26% on average and decreases the valid page copies by 10% on average, while achieving a similar hit ratio to that of existing mechanisms.

환기장치와 필터를 활용한 미세먼지 제거특성 조사 (Characterization of Fine Dust Collection Using a Filter Ventilation)

  • 본 연구에서는 폐암을 유발하는 발암물질이며 다양한 문제의 원인이 되고 있는 유해물질인 미세먼지 제거특성을 조사하였다. 변수로는 습도, 초기미세먼지 주입량, 유속을 고려하였다. 실험결과 습도가 높은 경우 제거에 소요되는 시간동안 평균 농도는 낮아지지만, 최종농도에는 큰 차이가 없었다. 세 가지 초기미세먼지주입량의 변화는 모두 비슷한 제거경향을 나타내었다. 또한 유속이 0.6 m/s에서 0.3 m/s로 변할 경우 제거소요시간이 약 1.4배 증가하는 결과가 관찰되었다. 본 연구에서는 습도, 미세먼지 주입량, 유속 중 미세먼지 제거에 가장 큰 변화를 보이는 것은 유속으로 관찰되었다.

초등학생의 환경태도 개선을 위한 재활용 분리수거 활동 프로그램 개발 (Effects of Recycling-Segregated Collection Activities on the Environmental Attitude of Elementary Students)

  • Values and attitude towards the environment begin to form in elementary school. Thus, environmental education is effective to promote children's sensibility on the environment, to increase their interest and concern on it, and to make them have friendly attitudes towards it. As a measure of such education, experiential learning activities are being emphasized, where children can see, feel and experience for themselves in a familiar environment surrounding them. Based on the results of this research, the following proposals can be made for environmental education necessary for elementary school children. i) the contents of environmental education should be selected and organized according to grades. Also, schedule should be secured to provide environmental education in certain time. ii) program should be developed to fit into local characteristics and academic level, providing connective and consistent environmental education. iii) activities for environmental education in elementary school can be effective only if connective guidances are provided among school, home and local community. iv) the recycling and separate collection activity program used in this research was limited to 3rd graders in small-size rural schools. Additional research may be necessary to see how long their attitudes last according to different grades.

고분자 표면의 전자빔 조사에 따른 젖음특성 고찰 (Investigation of Wetting Characteristics of Polymer Surfaces according to Electron Beam Irradiation)

  • The present study uses an electron beam (e-beam) to modify the wetting characteristics of thermoplastic polymer surfaces. A high energy e-beam irradiated various polymer surfaces (PET, PMMA, and PC), with variations in irradiation time and applied current. The water contact angles were measured on the e-beam irradiated surfaces in order to investigate the changes in the surface energy and the relevant wettability. Furthermore, XPS analyses were performed to investigate the chemical composition change in the e-beam irradiated surfaces; the results showed that the hydrophilic groups (C-O) increased after the electron beam irradiation. Also, water collection tests were performed for various polymer samples in order to investigate the effect of the surface energy on the ability of water collection, from which it can be seen that the irradiated surfaces revealed better water-collecting capability than pure polymer surfaces.

  • 현대 사회에 있어서 신속하고 정확한 정보는 곧 수익증대의 중요한 요소로 자리 잡고 있으며 사회발전이 가속화 될수록 더욱 다양한 정보가 산출되고 있다. 그로인하여 광범위하게 분산되어 있는 정보의 추출은 매우 중요한 부분으로 부각되고 있다. 하지만 기존의 자료 집계 방법은 분산되어 있는 자료를 수집하기 위한 시간이 많이 소요되고 수집된 자료의 확인과정 및 통합 과정 또한 많은 시간이 소요되어 현대의 수많은 정보를 효율적으로 수용하지 못하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 광범위하게 분산되어 있는 자료들에 대하여 효율적인 정보 추출을 제공할 수 있는 자료 집계 및 분석 시스템의 설계 및 구현 방안에 대하여 연구하고자 한다.

코안다효과를 이용한 필터에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improving Filter Performance Using Coanda Effect)

  • Modern people spend a lot of time indoors. Oil mist has a very fatal effect on the cook's health. Range Hood's filter plays a very important role in removing oil mist from kitchen. In this study, we applied coanda effect to increase the collection efficiency of filter. Original, Bottom, Slide Three shapes were simulated, and the two shapes were measured and compared using a wind tunnel tester. Pressure loss is measured below 2.0mmAq for all three filters, making them easy to use indoors. The simulation results were 15% for the original filter, 22% for the bottom filter, and 30% for the slide filter. The wind tunnel tester obtained 26% of the original filter and 30% of the slide filter. Research is needed to increase the collection efficiency by 50%.

재활용촉진을 위한 재활용 가능품의 흐름 특성 조사연구 (A Study on Recyclables' Stream to Promote Recycling)

  • The aim of this study was to evaluate the feasibilities on national recycling goal upto 40% in 2002 or more in the future. Sampling survey, Including waste generation rates, seperated recyclables and collection forces, covered households of 16,199 units, work places of 90 units and road length of 159km in Seoul. Survey results were used to calculate amounts of solid waste and recyclables according to physical properties, policy oriented measures, generator sand collection forces. This study founded followings ; Seoul's solid waste totaled 11,098ton/day, about 45% of which were recyclables and supposed to maximun level for recycling. Therefore, national goal for recycling proved to be attainable At this time,71.4% of recyclables was seperated by generators, and to stimulate the seperation activities of recyclables, endeavor of establishments, which seperated 65.6% of their recyclables, will be needed more than one of residence, which did 87.4% of their recyclables. Private forces collected 86.6% of recyclables seperated by generators, and have collection potentials equivalent to all recyclables generated in Seoul. But some incetives should be introduced to encourage private forces' activities, because values of recyclables to be collected in the future are lower than that did now.

실차실험에 의한 집전계의 접촉 동특성 규명 (A Verification of the Contact Dynamics of the Current Collection System on a Test Run)

  • The contact characteristics of the current collection system are investigated by analyzing data collected during a test run of the Korean high speed rail vehicle. For the analysis, the signals from accelerometers and load cells attached to the various parts of the pantograph are analyzed in both the time and frequency domains. In the frequency domain, the pantograph response consists of low frequency components related to the rigid-body motion of the panhead assembly and high frequency components due to the structural vibration modes of the pantograph. The analysis shows that the inclusion of the high frequency structural vibration modes of the pantograph in the contact force calculation has a negligible effect on the predicted mean value of the contact force but significantly affects the magnitude of its fluctuations. This finding implies that numerical simulations using lumped element models of the pantograph may accurately predict the mean contact force but is limited in its capacity for predicting the fluctuation about the mean. Since the ratio of the fluctuation to the mean in the contact force increases with increased train speed, the limitation of the predictions based on numerical simulation results becomes more pronounced at higher train speed.
