This study was performed in order to investigate disease, insect damage, growth and yield characteristics of green maize by organic paddy-upland rotation system. This experiment also was to select optimum variety for organic paddy-upland rotation cultivation. This experiment was conducted at Anseong-si Gyeonggi province of Korea in 2016. The varieties used in this study are green maize of total 8 varieties. Green maize was planted at rotational upland field and continuing upland field and tested for comparison. In case of average occurrence of 4 major diseases for green maize, rotational upland field was higher than that of continuing upland field. Heukjinjuchal and Daehakchal were the lowest occurrence by less than 2% among 8 varieties. Average damage of 8 varieties by Ostrinia furnacalis larva, which is the main pest in green maize was higher in rotational upland field than that of continuing upland field. Chalok 4 and Heugjeom 2 were judged to be resistant varieties to 4 major diseases among 8 varieties. The average yield of green maize per 10a in rotational upland field decreased to 85% level of continuing upland field and Chalok 4 showed the highest yield by 789.0 kg/10a among 8 varieties. The most suitable varieties in organic paddy-upland rotation system were judged to be Chalok 4, Heukjinjuchal and Heukjeom 2.

Gap junctional intercellular communication (GJIC) is a cellular event underlying the tumor promotion process and that treatment to prevent the down-regulation or to up-regulate GJIC is important in preventing tumor promotion. Purpose: To understand the meaning of death seen by nursing students through collage art works. Method: The qualitative research method and the content analysis were used. The text were collage and related essays written by 42 senior nursing students about the impressions on death through collage art works. Result: Statements were classified into three categories and seventeen themes. The three categories include "definitions of death", "feelings about the death", and "attitudes about the death and the dying patients". Conclusion: It is shown that participants recognize their position as nursing student, although they may not escape the fear of death, will learn to deal with death, and the dying in a suitably professional manner. In this respect, the study is considered to be helpful for the students in learning the knowledge and information which are needed for hospice nursing care more effectively.

Transient dynamic behavior of a sandwich beam under thermal and impulsive loads has been researched in the context of higher-order beam theory. The impulse load of blast type has been enforced on the top exponent of the sandwich beam while it is in a thermal environment. The core of the sandwich beam is cellular with auxetic rectangular pattern, whereas the layers have been built with the incorporation of graphene oxide powder (GOP) and are micromechanically introduced through Halpin-Tsai formulization. Governing equations for the sandwich beam have been solved through inverse Laplace transform style for obtaining the dynamical deflections. The connection of beam deflections on temperature variability, GOP quantity, pulse load situation and core relative density has been surveyed in detail.

다발성 원발성 악성종양은 최근 발생 빈도가 증가하고 있으며 이는 암의 진단 방법의 개선 및 인구의 고령화, 유해물질에 대한 노출증가에 기인한다. 국내에서도 다발성 원발성 악성종양에 대한 연구가 진행되어왔으며, 김등, 윤등이 보고하였다. 그러나 삼중복암의 발생하는 빈도는 매우 낮은 것으로 보고되어있다. 저자들은 이화여대 동대문 병원 내과에 입원한 다발성 원발성 위암, 후두암, 폐암 환자의 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

The purpose of this study is to find out about the impact on self-identity and creativity of college students through the fashion collage program. The methods of research were content analysis and statistical analysis. The research subjects consisted of six fashion major college students experiment group and six control group students attending P university in Busan. The period of investigation was conducted once a week in the 9th session (2019. 04. 25. - 06. 18). The analysis criteria of fashion collage were divided into formality and contents, and the analysis criteria consisted of number of collage pieces, margin, overlapping, cut method, text position, color, space layout, and location of fashion design drawing. Collage maps were analyzed based on formal analysis, and fashion design drawings were analyzed based on formal and contents analysis. In order to verify the effectiveness of the fashion collage program, a pre-post test of self-identity and creativity was conducted. Statistical analysis was conducted by using the SPSS WIN 25.0 program, U-test of Mann-Whitney, Wilcoxon signed-rank test. In pre-post test of self-identity and creativity, there were significant differences. In conclusion, it has been shown that fashion collage programs are effective in improving self-identity and creativity for college students majoring in fashion. This study has a limitation of collage programs focused on self-discovery, so it should be carefully analyzed.

포천 중문 의과 대학 분당 차 병원 흉부외과에서는 정상 흉선 조직과 성숙된 지방 조직이 혼재되어있는 희귀한 양성 종격동 종양인 흉선지방종을 경험하였다. 환자는 46세의 여자 환자로 하복부 통증을 주소로 내과에 입원하였고 입원 당시 촬영한 단순 흉부 방사선 사진에서 우측 심연에 위치한 지방성 종괴가 발견되었다. 흉부 컴퓨터 단층 촬영을 시행한 결과 흉선지방종이 의심되어 종괴를 절제하였다. 조직 병리 검사상 흉선지방종으로 확인되었다.

We report the case of a 32-year-old woman presenting with intermittent chest pain resulted from a migratory acupuncture needle. The patient received acupuncture treatment approximately 3 years prior to this presentation, for the treatment of chronic left shoulder and lumbar pain after delivery. Chest radiography revealed a retained needle in the lingular segmental area. Video-assisted thoracoscopy was then used to remove the migratory acupuncture needle attached between the lingular segmental lobe and the pericardial fat. The patient recovered without complications and was discharged home.

기관지에서 점액상피양 종양은 드문 병변으로 대부분은 임상적으로 양성 경과를 보이는 저등급 암종이나 때로는 치명적인 고등급 암종을 보일 수 있으며 치료는 병리학적 등급에 관계없이 외과적 절제가 우선이다. 저자들은 호흡곤란을 내원하여 우폐 전체의 허탈 소견을 보인 임신 32주의 여자에서 조직학적으로 확인되어 수술한 저등급의 점액 상피양암 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.
