인지적.사회적 변인을 함께 고려한 또래 쌍 협력활동이 유아의 과제 수행력에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Young Children's Dyad Collaboration Based on Their Cognitive and Social Ability on Task Performance)

  • This study investigated the effects on task performance of dyad collaboration based on young children's cognitive and social ability. The 108 5-year-old subjects were assigned to a collaborative experimental group, a comparison group working individually in sorting, writing, and making a puzzle, or a control group. Data from before and after measurements on sorting and perspective taking tasks were analyzed by t-test and ANOVA. Results showed that (1) Children working in dyad collaboration obtained significantly more improvement in their performance on both tasks than those working individually. (2) Dyads composed of a child with high level social skill but low level intelligence and a child with low levels of both showed most improvement in performance on the perspective taking task.

유아기 아동의 신체개념 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improvement of Childhood with the Body Concept)

  • This study was to investigate the effects of the sensory-motor training program childhood body concept and to investigate the difference between the control group and experimental group. Subjects of the study were compared with children whose age varied from three to four years old, where I.Q was over 100. The major things of this study was as follows, First, sensory-motor training program was effective with regards to body concept improvement among the three-, four-year-old children. Second, both the experimental group trained by sensory-motor program and the control group trained by cognitive-perceptual training program were revealed a meaningful performance. But, sensory-motor program offering subcognitive sensory body experiences yielded higher mean gains in scores than a cognitive-perceptual program. Sensory-motor learning is more effective than verbal learning is promoting body concept reflected in the ability to draw human figures.

  • 최근 극초단파의 펄스를 사용하는 UWB(Ultra-WideBand) 기술이 다양한 무선 통신기기에 응용되고 있다. UWB 기기들은 기존의 동일한 무선주파수대역을 공동으로 사용하기 때문에 상호 간섭에 의한 장애가 발생하게 되는데, 이와 같이 다양한 무선 응용 기술들이 혼재된 상황은 주파수 자원의 효율적 이용에 대한 요구를 강화할 것으로 예상된다. 최근 한정된 UWB 대역의 주파수 자원을 효율적으로 이용하는 기술이 소개되고 있다. 특히 인지적(Cognitive) UWB 기술은 스펙트럼 사용 효율을 높이기 위해 스펙트럼 활용을 위한 기술로서 UWB 시스템에서 사용되지 않는 주파수를 감지하여 이를 효율적으로 공유하여 사용할 수 있는 무선통신 개념이 적용되는 방식이다. 본 논문에서는 UWB와 인지적 기술이 합해진 기술을 소개하고, 시뮬레이션을 통하여 원하는 마스크를 충족시키고 타 시스템으로부터의 간섭을 회피하여 성능이 개선됨을 보였다.

뇌졸중 환자의 인지적 전략개발 중심 중재가 수행기술에 미치는 효과 비교 : 무작위 비교연구 (Cognitive Strategy Intervention Affects Performance Skills of Daily Living in Individuals with Stroke: A Randomized Controlled Trial)

  • Objectives : The aim of this study was to compare a treatment focusing on the physical function to an intervention focusing on a cognitive strategy in stroke patients which improves their performance skills of daily activities. Methods : This study design was a randomized control trial selecting 43 people with stroke patients. This study consisted of a control group, which received conventional occupational therapy focusing on physical function, and an experimental group which was trained to develop a cognitive strategy by themselves. Both groups each received 10 sessions of the treatment. This study compared the skills for performing daily activities before and after the intervention and analyzed the data with SPSS Ver. 18.0. Results : This study showed a significant improvement in all performance skills in the experimental group (p<.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the performance skills before and after the intervention in the control group (p>.05). Conclusions : It was verified that stroke patients to develop a cognitive strategy by themselves is more effective than to improve the physical function in performance skills for daily activities.

인지능력 저하노인에 대한 HRV 측정기법에 관한 연구 (A Study on measurement Technique of HRV for elder with reduced cognitive abilities)

  • 본 논문은 인지능력이 저하된 노인들에게 침과 뜸 요법을 시행하고 HRV 측정값을 통하여 그 효과를 분석한다. 인지능력이 저하되거나 상실된 사람들에게 자주 사용되었던 주요한 경혈을 고문헌에서 조사하였다. 인지능력이 저하된 노인들에게 침과 뜸을 시술한 후 HRV 측정기를 이용하여 여러 가지 변화를 측정하였다. 측정된 값들을 상호 비교하여 자율신경계와 심박동수의 변화에 침과 뜸이 어떤 영향을 주는지 효능을 측정하였다. 연구 결과 침과 뜸이 인지능력의 개선에 긍정적이 효과가 있다는 것을 HRV 분석을 통해 확인할 수 있었다.

  • To develop the Korean-Version-Improvement program for ordinary people, we investigate how Korean-High-Intelligent people use their cognitive function, intellectual capacity and Intelligent Quotient test. Using Mensa iq test, we classify intelligent examination tool into various components; visual, geometrical component and cognitive interpretation component. Also we organized each component, got database of intelligent subjects sample, classified itemized availability. Based on these things, we prove efficiency of intelligent examination tool. We found out that high intelligent people showed high Intelligent Index using visual cognitive stimulation with cognitive function when subjects were exposed to certain situation; solving the problem. This intelligent examination tool is low price and safe and easily carrying out with personal computer. If we develop intelligence quotient examination customized with mental retardation populations, a variety of subjects will improve their cognition with efficiency and inexpensively.

인지운동 이중과제 훈련이 뇌졸중 환자의 보행과 균형 기능에 미치는 영향: 무작위 대조군 예비연구 (Effect of Dual-task Training With Cognitive Motor Task on Walking and Balance Functions in Patients With Chronic Stroke: Randomized Controlled Pilot Study)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of dual-task training with cognitive effort on the walking and balance functions of chronic stroke patients. The study included 14 chronic stroke patients, who were randomly divided into the experimental group (EG) and control group (CG), each with 7 patients. The EG performed the dual-task training with cognitive effort 3 times a week, 30 minutes for 4 weeks, where as the CG performed single-task training three times a week, for 30 minutes for 4 weeks. Outcome assessments were made with 10 m walk test, timed up and go test, 6 minutes walk test, and Berg balance scale. In within-group comparison, subjects from the EG showed significant differences in all variables (p<.05), while subjects from the CG showed only significant differences in 6 minutes walk test, and Berg balance scale (p<.05). Further, there was significant difference in the improvement rate of 10 m walk test. The findings suggest that the dual-task with cognitive effort may be beneficial for improving walking and balance functions of patients with chronic stroke.

후 순위 시스템의 성능 향상을 위한 언더레이 기반의 인지 무선 시스템의 사용자 선택 기법 (User Selection Scheme for the Performance Improvement of the Secondary System in Cognitive Radio Systems using Underlay Mode)

  • 최근 고속 데이터 서비스의 보급으로 데이터 사용량이 급증함에 따라 이를 수용하기 위한 주파수 자원의 효율적 사용 방법에 대한 연구가 주목받고 있다. 따라서 주파수 효율성을 향상시키기 위해 주파수 사용에 대한 우선권을 가진 사용자와 후순위에 있는 사용자가 해당 주파수 대역을 공유하는 기술인 인지 무선 기술(Cognitive Radio, CR)이 제안되었다. 본 논문에서는 CR 시스템에서 직교하는 채널 벡터를 이용하여 선순위 시스템에게 미치는 간섭을 줄이면서 후순위 시스템의 성능 향상을 동시에 고려한 사용자 선택 기법을 제안한다. 모의실험 결과 제안 기법을 적용했을 때 전체 시스템의 합 용량이 기존 기법보다 약 1.62bps/Hz의 이득을 가지는 것을 확인하였다.

Improving Performance of Remote TCP in Cognitive Radio Networks

  • Recent advances in cognitive radio technology have drawn immense attention to higher layer protocols above medium access control, such as transmission control protocol (TCP). Most proposals to improve the TCP performance in cognitive radio (CR) networks have assumed that either all nodes are in CR networks or the TCP sender side is in CR links. In those proposals, lower layer information such as the CR link status could be easily exploited to adjust the congestion window and improve throughput. In this paper, we consider a TCP network in which the TCP sender is located remotely over the Internet while the TCP receiver is connected by a CR link. This topology is more realistic than the earlier proposals, but the lower layer information cannot be exploited. Under this assumption, we propose an enhanced TCP protocol for CR networks called TCP for cognitive radio (TCP-CR) to improve the existing TCP by (1) detection of primary user (PU) interference by a remote sender without support from lower layers, (2) delayed congestion control (DCC) based on PU detection when the retransmission timeout (RTO) expires, and (3) exploitation of two separate scales of the congestion window adapted for PU activity. Performance evaluation demonstrated that the proposed TCP-CR achieves up to 255% improvement of the end-to-end throughput. Furthermore, we verified that the proposed TCP does not deteriorate the fairness of existing TCP flows and does not cause congestions.

Cognitive Radio 무선 다중홉 릴레이 네트워크의 Throughput 용량 (Throughput Capacity of a Wireless Multi-hop Relay Network using Cognitive Radio)

  • 본 논문은 cognitive radio (CR) 기능을 갖는 무선 멀티홉 릴레이 네트워크의 throughput 용량에 대한 연구 결과이다. 본 논문에서는 TDMA/FDMA에 기반한 프레임 구조를 갖는 릴레이가 기지국과 통신할 때 CR 기술을 이용하여 현재 사용되고 있지 않는 주파수 자원을 측정하여 동적으로 이용하는 시스템을 제안하고 이의 throughput 용량 모델을 제안 하였다. 특히, 본 논문에서는 Utilization factor를 이용하여 제안된 시스템을 위한 throughput 용량 모델을 제안하였다. 해석 모델링 결과 본 논문에서 제안한 CR 기반 멀티홉 릴레이 시스템은 throughput 용량을 매우 향상하는 결과를 보였다.
