위성영상을 이용한 해안습지 지형경관 변화 분석의 효율성 평가 (Efficiency Assessment of Analysing Coastal Geomorphic Landscape Change by Satellite Image Interpretation)

  • 오늘날의 지형경관변화 분석은 그 규모와 시공간적 제한으로 말미암아 과거와 같이 연구자의 직접적인 참여관찰에 의해 취득된 정보만으로는 많은 한계를 가지게 된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 위성영상을 이용하여 직접적인 참여관찰이 어려운 해안습지 지역의 대규모 지형경관변화를 분석하는 방법들을 비교, 평가하는 것을 주목적으로 하였다. 연구지역은 지난 10년간 국제공항의 건설로 대규모 지형경관변화를 경험한 영종도 북부 해안습지를 사례지역으로 하였다. 분석방법은 기존의 마스크 기법을 보완한 화소차이 마스크 기법. 화소표준화 마스크 기법, NDVI 마스크 기법을 이용하였다. 분석결과 해안습지의 지형경관변화를 구체적이고 정확하게 반영하는 기법은 NDVI 마스크 기법인 것으로 판단되었다.

연안지역 특성에 따른 상세 토지피복도 적용 효과 및 기상장에 미치는 영향 분석 (The Application of High-resolution Land Cover and Its Effects on Near-surface Meteorological Fields in Two Different Coastal Areas)

  • In this study, the effects of high-resolution land cover on the simulation of near-surface meteorological fields were evaluated in two different coastal regions using Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model. These analyses were performed using the middle classification land cover data upgraded by the Korean Ministry of Environment (KME). For the purpose of this study, two coastal areas were selected as follows: (1) the southwestern coastal (SWC) region characterized by complex shoreline and (2) the eastern coastal (EC) region described a high mountain and a simple coastline. The result showed that the application of high-resolution land cover were found to be notably distinguished between the SWC and EC regions. The land cover improvement has contributed to generate the realistic complex coastline and the distribution of small islands in the SWC region and the expansion of urban and built-up land along the sea front in the EC region, respectively. The model study indicated that the improvement of land cover caused a temperature change on wide areas of inland and nearby sea for the SWC region, and narrow areas along the coastal line for the EC region. These temperature variations in the two regions resulted in a decrease and an increase in land-breeze and sea-breeze intensity, respectively (especially the SWC region). Interestingly, the improvement of land cover can contribute large enough to change wind distributions over the sea in coastal areas.

임해지역의 개발이 기상장에 미치는 영향예측 (Numerical Simulation of Effect on Atmospheric Flow Field by Development of Coastal Area)

  • The present study applied an atmospheric flow field model in Gwangyang-Bay which can predict local sea/land breezes formed in a complex terrain lot the development of a model that can predict short term concentration of air pollution. Estimated values from the conduct of the atmospheric flow field were used to evaluate and compare with observation data of the meteorological stations in Yeosu and the Yeosu airport, and the effect of micrometeorology of surround region by the coastal area reclamation was predicted by using the estimated values, Simulation results, a nighttime is appeared plainly land breezes of the Gwangyang-bay direction according to a mountain wind that formed in the Mt. of Baekwooun, Mt. of Youngchui. Land winds is formed clockwise circulation in the north, clockwise reverse direction in the south with Gangyang-bay as the center. Compared with model and observation value, Temperature is tend to appeared some highly simulation value in the night, observation value in the daytime in two sites all, but it is veil accorded generally, the pattern of one period can know very the similarity. And also, wind speed and wind direction is some appeared the error of observation value and calculation results in crossing time of the land wind and sea land, it can see that reproducibility is generally good, is very appeared the change land wind in the nighttime, the change of sea wind in the daytime. And also, according to change of the utilization coefficient of soil before and after development with Gwangyang-Bay area as the center. Temperature after development was high $0.55\sim0.67^{\circ}C$ in the 14 hoots, also was tend to appear lowly $0.10\sim0.22^{\circ}C$ in the 02 hours, the change of u, v component is comparatively tend to reduced sea wind and land wind, it is affected ascending air current and frictional power of the earth surface according to inequality heating of the generation of earth surface.

대규모 매립에 대한 환경영향예측과 저감방안에 관한 연구 (Prediction of Environmental Change and Mitigation plan for large scale reclamation)

  • 본 연구에서는 구조물 건설 및 외부로부터 오염물질이 유입될 경우, 자연정화가 어려운 폐쇄성해역에서 실시되고 있는 대규모 매립이 수질 및 해양생태계에 미치는 영향을 파악하였다. 해양환경변화를 예측하기 위해 3차원 해수유동모델과 물질순환모델을 이용하여 현재의 해양환경을 재현하였으며, 매립 후의 수질 및 생태계 변화를 각각 검토하여 대규모 매립에 의한 환경변화를 평가하였다. 아울러, 매립에 의한 환경영향을 완화시킬 수 있는 방안을 제시하기 위해 수치모의결과로부터 얻어진 환경부하량과 기존의 조사결과를 이용하여 환경변화를 최소화할 수 있는 미티게이션방안으로서 인공갯벌, 인공해빈과 친수호안을 제안하였다.

  • Under background of global change, regional and local environmental changes in short-term are significantly influenced by human activities in recent time. This paper deals with serious environmental problems which has become a barrier of sustainable development in the lower reach of Yellow River due to over use of diverted water from Yellow River and underground water from coastal plain. Some countermeasures for improving local environment and economic development are introduced in the paper.

  • 기후변화로 인한 연안침식 가중화 현상은 최근 전 세계적인 이슈로 대두되고 있으며, 국제사회에서는 그 위험성을 인지하고 범국가적 협의와 다양한 정책을 적용하고 있다. 지중해, 카리브해에 위치한 연안 국가의 경우, 범국가적 차원에서 연안완충구역을 설정하고 연안관리계획을 수립하고 있으며, 미국은 도시적 차원에서 연안지역 관리계획을 수립하고 있다. 우리나라에서도 연안지역의 침식과 연안재해를 예방하기위한 연안침식관리구역을 지정하고 관리하고 있으나, 절대적인 지정 개수와 연안 육역에 대한 정책이 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내 정책 현황 및 국외 사례 연구를 통해 연안침식 및 연안재해 예방·저감을 위해 연안 육역에 적용되는 정책 사례를 연구하고, 국내 연안완충구역 정책 개선방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 연구결과, 연안 육역부에 대한 연안완충구역 확대 및 과학적 분석에 기반한 완충구역의 설정 기준이 필요하다는 시사점을 도출하였다.

시화호 연안습지 식생의 공간 분포 분석 (The Spatial Distribution Analysis of Coastal Wetland Vegetation in Sihwa Lake)

  • Human activity has been the major threat to wetlands. Agriculture, industrial development, and urban and suburban sprawl have caused the greatest losses of coastal wetlands. In fact, riceland agriculture, because of the flooding that goes with it, provides some additional wetland habitat not otherwise available. The biggest current source of loss for freshwater coastal wetlands is from urban sprawl. In this study, spatial analysis method such as landscape index were applied to Sihwa area in Ansan city. The SMA (Spectral Mixture Analysis) method using Landsat image showed the change distribution of wetland vegetation from 1996 to 2004. The southern part of Sihwa wetland have been changed with Suda japonica of 24% and reed vegetation of 34% on coastal wetland which were covered with tidal flat.

부산연안역에서 국지풍모델을 이용한 오존농도의 수치모의 (Numerical Simulation of Ozone Concentration using the Local Wind Model in Pusan Coastal Area, Korea)

  • Numerical simulations of photochemical air pollution (CBM: Carbon-Bond Mechanisms under a theoretical three-dimensional local wind system are carried to clarify the fundamental characteristics of the effects of local wind on photochemical air pollution. According to the AWS data of Pusan coastal area and KMA, the surface wind of Pusan during summertime showed a very remarkable land and sea breeze circulation. The ozone concentration distribution using local wind model showed that high ozone concentration zone near coastal area moved toward inland In the afternoon. This change implies a sea breeze Increases the ozone concentration, but a land breeze decreases it in Pusan coastal area.

우리나라 바다골재채취 및 협의제도 현황 평가 (Status of Marine Sand Mining and Assessment System in Korea)

  • This study evaluated current status of marine sand mining and related assessment systems in Korea for supporting effective policy development. The estimated total deposit of sand was ca. 10 billion $m^3$, while the estimated minable amount was ca. 5.5 billion $m^3$, in which marine sand accounted for 21%. The proportion of marine sand to the total mined aggregates has steadily increased by 15% in 1992 to 28% in 2002, but recently slightly decreased. Marine sand mining is regulated under a consultation system on the coastal development according to the "Marine Environmental Management Act". During 2002-2009, a total of 184 million $m^3$ of marine sand was mined, and the annual amount ranged from 17,440,000-33,698,000 $m^3$ the coastal area accounted for 64.5% and the Exclusive Economic Zones (EEZs) 35.5%. In the coastal area, the major area supplying the marine sand was Gyeonggi Bay (>62%) followed by some southwestern coastal areas. The South and the West EEZ explained 23.9% and 11.6% of the total mined sand. The extent of marine sand mining in Korea was evaluated to be greater compared with other countries. Large-scale concentrated and repeated sand mining can damage environmental changes and ecology with long-term accumulated impacts.

서핑가능 지역의 지속가능한 서핑을 위한 서핑자원 관리 - 강원도 양양군 죽도해변을 중심으로 (Surfing Resources Management for Sustainable Surfing in Surfable Region - Focusing on Jukdo, Yangyang, Gangwon Province)

  • 서핑은 자연적으로 발생하는 파도를 이용하는 스포츠로 자연환경의 변화에 민감하게 작용한다. 다시 말해서, 서핑을 할 수 있는 파도가 도달하던 해안에서 인근의 해안시설물의 건설이나 해안 침식, 표사이동에 의한 해안선의 변화와 같은 요인이 파도를 서핑에 부적합한 방향으로 변하게 만들 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 서핑에 적합한 파도가 형성되는 데에 영향을 주는 해안환경 특성들을 일컬어 서핑자원(Surfing Resources)이라 하고, 이를 해안공학적 방법론으로 분석하였다. 그리고 Delft3D-WAVE 모듈(SWAN model)을 활용한 강원도 양양군 죽도해변의 서핑자원 분석을 통해, 서핑 파도의 지속가능성을 평가하는 방법에 대해 제시하였다.
