  • This paper present a current predicting control method for PMSM (permanent magnet synchronous motor) to improve the tracking performance of stator current, which regards the current vector as the control target. Solving the model state equation in the static frame (α-β frame), the dynamic change of current vector will be gained as three independent terms. These change terms, which contain the prediction of current vector, are discretized and simplified by Taylor series expansion and used to get the voltage vector as the predictive control quantity. SVPWM will transform the control voltage to the switching signal of inverter, which is newly deduced for the current vector. Simulation and experiment results are given to testy and verify the performance of this method.

  • This paper presents a method of constructing the system-on-chip(SoC) based on embedded systems. The proposed method is more compact and effectiveness than former methods. The requirements generation start high level performance simulation and then passes to an executable specification suitable for implementation using a hardware/software co-design tool. The reuse of pre-exiting components is supported, as well as synthesis of the system interface, but only after much work is done to program the hardware/software co-design tool. The actual design flow described allows feedback among all design levels, e.g. from implementation up to requirements, throughout the process. In the future, it is necessary to development the advanced method of constructing system-on-chip based on embedded systems.

  • This paper presents method of constructing the embedded systems based on hardware-software codesign which is the important fields of $21^{st}$ information technology. First, we describe the classification and necessity of embedded systems, and we discuss the consideration and classification for constructing the embedded systems. Also, we discuss the embedded systems modeling. The proposed embedded systems based on hardware-software co-design is important gradually, we expect that it involve the many IT fields in the future.

  • The water proton relaxation rates increase linearly with concentrations of contrast agents, and could be expressed as a function of the concentrations. In this paper, we have investigated MR properties of two different contrast agents, $GdCl_3$ and $CoCl_2$. Relaxivity coefficients were calculated from individual contrast agent solutions, and used for predicting relaxation rates at mixtures of two contrast agents. From the experimental results, we have discussed the feasibility of constructing water solutions with the desired relaxation times using specific mixtures of contrast agents.

  • In the previous studies on co-constructing scientific models, students have had various difficulties in constructing their models. As an alternative to compensate for these problems, we introduced smart devices in the modeling process and examined its roles. 60 students from two classes in the fifth grade of an elementary school in Seoul had classes to make up the solar system model in a small group using the smart devices and we examined the roles of smart devices in their classes. The result is as follows; First, students were able to generate their scientific model through various functions of smart devices throughout the modeling process. In particular, smart devices provide highly descriptive and authoritative information that meets the needs of students as well as the opportunity to observe the planets from various perspectives. Moreover, they were not only able to express their models easily as they wanted to express them, but also were able to receive feedbacks from various agents. In order for these smart devices to function properly in the co-construction of scientific models, it is necessary to improve the related environment as well as students' technological literacy.

  • This study was conducted as a part of database construction for development of CO2 assessment system for concrete to assess CO2 emissions and analyze characteristics of blast furnace slag manufactured in Korea through life cycle assessment method. For this, life cycle CO2 emissions assessment technique for construction materials was examined. The entire manufacturing process for blast furnace slag was analyzed on blast furnace slag manufacturer in Korea for application of assessment technique. Life cycle CO2 assessment was performed on blast furnace slag after classifying assessment process into raw material production step, raw material transportation step and construction material manufacture step.
