무선 멀티미디어 센서 네트워크의 서비스 수명을 위한 클러스터 라우팅 (Cluster Routing for Service Lifetime of Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks)

  • 본 논문에서는 무선 멀티미디어 센서 네트워크의 서비스 수명 보장을 위해 클러스터 기반의 새로운 라우팅 프로토콜을 제안한다. 제안된 프로토콜은 무선 센서 멀티미디어 컴퓨팅 환경에서 에너지 소모를 줄이고 서비스 오류를 줄이기 위해 인트라 클러스터 라우팅과 인터 클러스터 라우팅을 수행한다. 또한 제안된 클러스터 라우팅은 라우팅 신뢰성을 향상시키고, 패킷 손실을 최소화하며, 관리 오버헤드를 최소화하고, 에너지 소모를 최소화한다. 본 논문에서는 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해서 제안된 기법이 DSR (Dynamic Source Routing) 기법, AODV(Adhoc On-demand Distance Vector routing) 기법에 비해서 효율성이 우수함을 보인다.

파일시스템의 클러스터를 임의로 할당하여 디스크를 단편화하기 위한 방법 (An Arbitrary Disk Cluster Manipulating Method for Allocating Disk Fragmentation of Filesystem)

  • This study proposes a method to manipulate fragmentation of disks by arbitrarily allocating and releasing the status of a disk cluster in the NTFS file system. This method allows experiments to be performed in several studies related to fragmentation problems on disk cluster. Typical applicable research examples include testing the performance of disk defragmentation tools according to the state of fragmentation, establishing an experimental environment for fragmented file carving methods for digital forensics, setting up cluster fragmentation for testing the robustness of data hiding methods within directory indexes, and testing the file system's disk allocation methods according to the various version of Windows. This method suggests how a single file occupies a cluster and presents an algorithm with a flowchart. It raises three tricky problems to solve the method, and we propose solutions to the problems. Experiments for allocating the disk cluster to be fragmented to the maximum extent possible, it then performs a disk defragmentation experiment to prove the proposed method is effective.

Regional Innovation Policy and Venturing Clusters in Japan

  • This paper reviews regional innovation policy in Japan. 'Technopolis' policy, the first technology-based regional development policy in the world, was implemented in Japan. Nonetheless, technology-based regional endogenous development did not occur. Then, regional technology transfer was pursued. In order to make use of universities and public research institutes in a region for development, university-industry collaboration and cross-over, such as university spin-offs, were promoted. Within this background, new technology-based regional development policies have been introduced based on a cluster approach. These policies are the knowledge cluster Initiative and the industrial cluster program. However, existing companies have difficulty in carrying out innovation. This paper argues that a cluster to create new start-ups that carry out innovation is also needed and explains a new concept of venturing cluster. Based on this new cluster concept, this paper analyzes the situation of Sapporo in Japan, where many university spin-offs are being created in the biotechnology field.

A Study on Efficient Cluster Analysis of Bio-Data Using MapReduce Framework

  • This study measured the stream data from the several sensors, and stores the database in MapReduce framework environment, and it aims to design system with the small performance and cluster analysis error rate through the KMSVM algorithm. Through the KM-SVM algorithm, the cluster analysis effective data was used for U-health system. In the results of experiment by using 2003 data sets obtained from 52 test subjects, the k-NN algorithm showed 79.29% cluster analysis accuracy, K-means algorithm showed 87.15 cluster analysis accuracy, and SVM algorithm showed 83.72%, KM-SVM showed 90.72%. As a result, the process speed and cluster analysis effective ratio of KM-SVM algorithm was better.

최대우도법을 이용한 라이다 포인트군집의 박스특징 추정 (Box Feature Estimation from LiDAR Point Cluster using Maximum Likelihood Method)

  • This paper present box feature estimation from LiDAR point cluster using maximum likelihood Method. Previous LiDAR tracking method for autonomous driving shows high accuracy about velocity and heading of point cluster. However, Assuming the average position of a point cluster as the vehicle position has a lower accuracy than ground truth. Therefore, the box feature estimation algorithm to improve position accuracy of autonomous driving perception consists of two procedures. Firstly, proposed algorithm calculates vehicle candidate position based on relative position of point cluster. Secondly, to reflect the features of the point cluster in estimation, the likelihood of the particle scattered around the candidate position is used. The proposed estimation method has been implemented in robot operating system (ROS) environment, and investigated via simulation and actual vehicle test. The test result show that proposed cluster position estimation enhances perception and path planning performance in autonomous driving.

광주 광산업 클러스터 효과에 관한 연구 : 조직의 흡수역량과 기업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on the Korean Photonics Industrial Cluster Effects : Focusing on Absorptive Capacity and Corporate Performance)

  • Cluster industries are geographically concentrated and inter-connected by the flow of goods and services, which is stronger than the flow linking them to the rest of the economy. Photonics industries are one of the fastest growing high-tech industries in the world today. Especially, the city of Gwangju(South Korea) industrial cluster, a specialized complex in photonics industry, produced remarkable results in developing high-quality technologies since it launched the cluster program in 2005. Gwangju photonics industrial cluster will be ranked top level of the world photonics industry. In this sense, this study is aimed at proposing a new research model in which corporate performance influence factors of photonics industrial cluster (i.e., business environment, cooperative relationship, and industry-university-research institute partnership) affect absorptive capacity positively, leading to corporate performance eventually. This study developed a research model to explain the Korean photonics industrial cluster effects, and collected 91 survey responses from photonics based company managers in industrial cluster complex. To prove the validity of the proposed research model, PLS analysis is applied with valid 91 questionnaires. By employing PLS technique, the measurement reliability and validity of research variables are tested and the path analysis is conducted to do the hypothesis testing. In brief, the finding of this study suggests that corporate performance influence factors of photonics industrial cluster affect absorptive capacity positively, and corporate performance as well.

Community Structure of Benthic Macroinvertebrate Affected by Lake Water and Sewage Effluent at Urban Stream in Gwangju, Korea

  • The ecosystem in the Gwangju Stream has taken a wide range of disturbance such as the discharging water of sewage treatment plant, the lake water and the river water from different water system over the past decade. This study was figured out some significant influence factors by analyzing the relationship between biotic and abiotic factors in the urban stream. Abiotic components included 15 water quality variables which were measured in five sampling sites along the stream from October 2014 to July 2015, whereas the benthic macroinvertebrates found in those sites were used to estimate various biotic indices representing the ecological status of the community. The results of correlation analyses indicated that abiotic factors by human activities affected on the inhabitation of benthic macroinvertebrates more than biotic factors. The results of cluster analyses and ANOVA tests also showed that biotic and abiotic characteristics were clearly different in season. The main influence factors of cluster analysis by sites were $NH_3-N$, EPT(I) and DO. It was considered that more various statistical analyses would be necessary to find some different relationships and influence factors between biotic and abiotic variables in the urban stream.

적방.적화 처리가 하이부쉬 'Jersey' 블루베리 과실의 수량과 품질에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Cluster and Flower Thinning on Yield and Fruit Quality in Highbush 'Jersey' Blueberry)

  • 본 연구는 하이부쉬 블루베리(Vaccinium corymbosum) 'Jersey' 품종을 이용하여 적방 1/3, 적방 1/3 +적화 1/2, 적방 2/3 및 적방 2/3 + 적화 1/2처리 후 무처리 과실의 수확량과 과실 품질을 조사하여 적방 적화 정도에 따른 수량과 과실 크기, 가용성당함량, 산함량, 과실 경도를 분석하였다. 적방 적화 처리는 과립중, 종경 및 횡경에 유의한 과립 비대효과를 가져왔다. 과실 수확량은 무처리와 적방 1/3 처리구에서 가장 높았으며, 그 이외의 처리에서는 과립비대는 이루어졌으나 수확량의 감소가 발생하였다. 무처리와 적방 1/3 처리의 경우 전체 수확량은 비슷하였으나, 적방 1/3 처리구에서는 상품성이 큰 대립의 과실이 차지하는 비율이 무처리에 비해서 큰 것으로 조사되었다. 가용성당함량은 적방과 적화 처리에 따라 수량이 감소한 적방 2/3, 적방 2/3 + 적화 1/2 처리구에서 유의하게 증가하였으나, 산함량과 경도에는 영향을 미치지 않았다. 적방 적화에 따른 영향은 과립 비대와 수량에 유의한 차이를 주었으나 과실품질에는 크게 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 조사되었다.

SAN 환경의 대용량 클러스터 파일 시스템을 위한 광역 버퍼 관리기의 설계 (Design of Global Buffer Manager in SAN-based Cluster File Systems)

  • 본 논문은 SAN 기반의 클러스터 파일 시스템 $SANique^{TM}$의 설계 고려사항을 설명하고 특히 대규모의 호스트들이 연결된 상황에서 광역 버퍼 관리기의 데이터 공유 문제점을 기술하고 클러스터 환경에서 확장성과 가용성을 제공하기 위한 광역 버퍼 관리 기법을 제시한다. 제안하는 광역 버퍼 관리 기법은 $SANique^{TM}$ 시스템의 로크 관리기에서 관리되는 로크 정보를 활용하여 부가적인 통신 및 시간소요 없이 효율적인 데이터 공유를 제공하는 방법을 제시하였다. 또한 대규모 클러스터 환경에 적용 가능한 광역버퍼 관리기법의 의사코드 및 데이터 공유 예제를 통하여 본 방법의 효율성을 보였다.

무선 메쉬 네트워크의 군 환경 적용을 위한 클러스터 기반 멀티채널 할당 기법 (A Cluster Based Multi-channel Assignment Scheme for Adaptive Tactical Wireless Mesh Network)

  • The Wireless Mesh Network(WMN) technology is able to provide an infrastructure for isolated islands, in which it is difficult to install cables or wide area such as battlefield. Therefore, WMN is frequently used to satisfy needs for internet connection and active studies and research on them are in progress. However, as a result of increase in number of hops under hop-by-hop communication environment has caused a significant decrease in throughput and an increase in delay. Considering the heavy traffic of real-time data, such as voice or moving pictures to adaptive WMN, in a military environment. Such phenomenon might cause an issue in fairness index. In order to resolve this issue, we proposed a Cluster Based Multi-channel Assignment Scheme(CB-MAS) for adaptive tactical wireless mesh network. In the CB-MAS, the communication between the Cluster-Head(CH) and cluster number nodes uses a channel has no effect on channels being used by the inter-CH links. Therefore, the CB-MAS can minimize the interference within multi-channel environments. Our Simulation results showed that CB-MAS achieves improved the throughput and fairness index in WMN.
