Purpose: This research aims to test the measurement invariance of the consumer-based brand equity scale on Turkish and Syrian university students who live together but are from different cultural groups. Research design, data, and methodology: The consumer-based brand equity scale developed by Buil et al. (2008) is applied to the participants. In testing the consumer-based brand equity scale, the Netflix brand, which is considered well-known by both cultural groups, is preferred. It is thought that choosing an internationally recognized brand would facilitate the conduct of this research. Structural invariance and measurement invariance are tested using structural equation modeling. Results: The consumer-based brand equity scale has measurement invariance on Turkish and Syrian university students. Therefore, it has been revealed that the responses of participants from both cultures regarding the Netflix brand are comparable. Conclusion: The findings of the study provide clues for practitioners to review their distribution strategies. As a matter of fact, cultural studies conducted in different countries are common. Still, the originality of this study is ensured by the profile of participants who live in the same country but come from different countries.

Zhang Yu was a famous Taoist priest and poet in Yuan Dynasty, compared with the identity of Taoist and poet, his handwriting had greater influence in history. According to the relevant historical data, people at that time were mainly attracted by his Taoist identity and poetic talent. However, if we considered him as a poet,or a calligrapher to inspect,it would be often easier than facing a Taoist priest. Zhang Yu's poems and relationships can be used as some clues for our investigation of his calligraphy activities,not only would it not affect us to judge the value of his calligraphy, but also we will comprehensively and objectively analyze his calligraphy works. His early calligraphy closely followed Zhao Mengfu, in his later years, when he met Yang Weizhen, the style of writing changed greatly.During this period, what kind of changes and fundamental influence had on Zhang Yu's life and book learning thoughts experienced. Our contributions to this paper are as follows.To solve this issue,this passage will try to find clues from several representative figures and representative calligraphy works of Zhang Yu, and draw on the research results of relevant scholars to discuss the identity of Zhang Yu as a Taoist priest and the origin and style characteristics of his handwriting and probed into the status and influence of his calligraphy in history.

본 연구는 패밀리레스토랑의 유형적 근거가 고객들의 지각된 위험 및 총만족에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 것이었다. 자료 분석을 위하여 CFA와 SEM이 사용되었다. 유형적 근거는 3개의 요인으로, 지각된 위험은 6개의 요인으로 분석되었다. 분석결과, 유형적 근거 1 '물리적 증거'는 금전적 위험(p<0.01), 성과적 위험(p<0.01), 심리적 위험(p<0.001)에 부정적인 영향을 주었다. 유형적 근거 2 '종사원'은 시간적 위험(p<0.001), 성과적 위험(p<0.001), 심리적 위험(p<0.01), 사회적 위험(p<0.001)에 부정적인 영향을 주었다. 한편 유형적 근거 3 '서비스 과정'은 신체적 위험(p<0.01), 시간적 위험(p<0.05), 금전적 위험(p<0.001), 성과적 위험(p<0.01)에 부정적인 영향을 주었다. 그리고 지각된 위험 중에서 시간적 위험(p<0.001), 성과적 위험(p<0.001), 사회적 위험(p<0.001)은 고객의 총만족에 부정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 결국 본 연구의 결과를 통해 유형적 근거는 고객의 위험인지에 유의한 영향을 주었으며 또한 고객은 이에 따라 만족 혹은 불만족을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 외식기업은 고객의 위험인지를 감소시키는 마케팅 전략으로써 뿐만 아니라 만족을 유도하는 중요한 대안으로써 유형적 근거를 지속적으로 관리할 필요가 있다.

이 연구는 창조적 광고콘텐츠 제작을 위한 생산자의 스토리 생산체계와 광고 수용자의 의미 해석 과정이 기억원리 및 신념의 형성과 밀접함을 논의하는 것과 동시에 이러한 인지적 해석 코드가 대학생의 올바른 문화읽기를 위한 필수요건임을 규명하는 데 그 목적을 두었다. 설득을 목적에 둔 광고 콘텐츠의 생산은 목표 수용자의 인지원리에 기댄 시대적 사유체계를 우선적으로 파악해야 한다. 간명한 실험 분석을 통해 생산자의 의도된 스토리의 표본이 대학생 수용자가 기억하는 정보들의 단서들과 불일치할 가능성을 확인하는 핵심 단서들을 찾을 수 있었다. 이러한 핵심 단서들을 조합한 의미 분석 도구를 체계화하고 대학생 학습자에게 올바른 시대의 문화읽기를 위한 도구로써 시도해 보았다. 그 결과 대학생 수용자는 광고콘텐츠의 일차적 언어 및 비언어 표현의 단면적 분석이 아닌 자신의 주관적 경험과 신념에 바탕을 둔 새로운 인지적 기호 문화 읽기라는 적극적 의사소통의 한 일면을 확인할 수 있었다. 앞으로 광고콘텐츠 스토리 생산자가 이러한 과정을 미리 확인하는 작업을 가진다면 수용자의 설득에 도움이 되는 성과를 이룰 것이다.

The superimposed text in video brings important semantic clues into content analysis. In this paper, we present the new and fast superimposed text localization method in video segments. We detect the superimposed text by using temporal information contained in the video. To detect the superimposed text fast, we have minimized the candidate region of localizing superimposed texts by using the difference between consecutive frames. Experimental results are presented to demonstrate the good performance of the new superimposed text localization algorithm.

This paper proposes a new path-finding scheme using viewpoint-invariant landmarks. The scheme introduces the concept of landmark detection in images captured with a vision sensor attached to a mobile robot, and provides landmark clues to determine a path. Experiment results show that the scheme efficiently detects landmarks with changes in scenes due to the robot's movement. The scheme accurately detects landmarks and reduces the overall landmark computation cost. The robot moves in the room to capture different images. It can efficiently detect landmarks in the room from different viewpoints of each scene. The outcome of the proposed scheme results in accurate and obstacle-free path estimation.

With the role of cell phones in today's society as a digital personal assistant as well as the primary tool for personal communication, it is possible to imagine the involvement of cell phones in almost any type of crime. The progression of a criminal investigation can hinge on vital clues obtained from a cell phone. This paper will be concentrated on CDMA system phones and focus on the data extraction for cell phone forensics. Especially, the data acquisition method of JTAG interface access to memory chip will be covered.

Method for 3D reconstruction from image points and geometric clues can be roughly classified as "model-based" and "constraint-based". We present a new method to reconstruct from one image a scene using depth-point. The our method is benchmarked synthetic data and its effectiveness is shown on photograph data.

This paper digests the residential environment of row-income households in South-East Asia, and governmental endeavor to the squalid dwellings from the perspective of residence welfare. Two projects related to residential environment improvement, UCDO in Thailand and KIP in Philippines, are chosen for deeper study. Some findings in South-East countries' experiences are expected to instructive clues for Korea situation.

This paper is concerned with the effective and efficient identification of the gender and motion of humans. Tracking this nonverbal behavior is useful for providing clues about the interaction of different types of people and their exact motion. This system can also be useful for security in different places or for monitoring patients in hospital and many more applications. Here we describe a novel method of determining identity using machine learning with Microsoft Kinect. This method minimizes the fitting or overlapping error between an ellipsoid based skeleton.
