The Purpose of this study was to investigate the color changes of acid dyed wool fabrics after imparting permanent pleats with si-ro-set finish. Monoethanolamine sulfite was used as a reducing agent. Color changes were determined by measuring CIELAB values after treating the dyed fabrics with various setting temperatures, times and concentrations of MEAS. Setting temperature affected the color changes: in the order of $150^{\circ}C>130^{\circ}C>170^{\circ}C$ Setting time had a tendency to increase the color change. As the concentration of MEAS increased, $\delta$ E was increased. Azo dye was more affected than anthraquinone dye by MEAS treatment. Color changes were mainly due to $\delta$ L.
This study was conducted to investigate the effects of the thermally different states of human feet on temperature regulation in winter season. Five healthy female students of age 20 volunteered as subjects to participate in the study. Physiological responses such as rectal temperature and skin temperatures as well as subjective responses of thermal comfort and thermal sensation were observed. Preferred clothing and preferred temperature were also evaluated in terms of behavioral temperature regulation. The results obtained through the experiment were statistically analyzed using paired t test. Rectal temperature was decreased greater (p<.01) and mean skin temperature was maintained higher (p<.01) in feet wanning than in feet cooling. Results of preferred clothing were coincident with those of general thermal sensation. There was a higher tendency to prefer temperature in feet wanning than feet cooling in the morning. It was concluded that keeping feet skin temperature lower in the early morning and higher in the late evening would be effective in terms of regulating circadian rhythm of core temperature.

To do this study, we produced cooling vest newly. Rectal temperature was ascended approximately from 37.2$^{\circ}C$ to 38.05$^{\circ}C$ in lab, but wearing cooling vest, the temperature was descended 0.2 while wearing developed product compare with existing product. Mean skin temperature which was showed distribution from 32.8∼36.5$^{\circ}C$, it was descended 1.0∼1.1$^{\circ}C$, while wearing cooling vest and comparing with existing product, wearing developed product was lower 0.5$^{\circ}C$, While wearing developed product, it was found that they had lower tendency than exiting product. Specifically in case of temperature within clothing(chest) 0.2∼2.0$^{\circ}C$ in case of humidity within clothing 2∼8% RH. Facts from above we confirmed that clothing microclimate had been improved and space was happened between body and garment in order to control. In subjective sensation, existing product made negative response during experiment period from participants, but developed product was nearing to comfortable area.

The purposes of this study were 1) to identify the effects of age and sex on adolescent's psychological characteristics-egocentrism, self-consciousness, body cathexis and clothing behaviors and 2) to identify the effects of psychological characteristics on clothing behaviors in each of the 6 groups classified by sex and age. Egocentrism was measured by Kim's Imaginary Audience Scale, and body cathexis, by the modified record and Jourard"s Body Cathexis Scale. Buss's Self-Consciousness Scale was slightly modified to assess public and private self-consciousness, and five aspects of clothing behavior were assessed with the questionnaires from the previous studies. The questionnaire were administered to 713 middle and high school boys and girls, and college students living in Seoul. Data were analyzed by frequency, factor Analysis, two-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study were as follows: 1) Four factors of egocentrism were identified : Potency, Appearance/populatity, Sympathy and Justice. Four factors of clothing behavior were Clothing exhibition/dressing for others, Clothing interest, Psychological dependence, and Clothing conformity. 2) Sex and age were found to have effects on psychological variables and clothing behaviors of adolescence. Females showed higher egocentrism, self- consciousness, clothing behaviors, but lower body cathexis than males. The mean scores of egocentrism, self-consciousness, clothing behaviors tended to increase with age. However, high school boys showed unique tendency, as they showed higher scores in those variables than the other two age groups. 3) Egocentrism (Appearance/populality factor) and public self- consciousness were the most influencial variables on adolescent's clothing behavior among psychological characteristics. Private self-consciousness was found to be an important variable in explaining Psychological dependence.ence.
By researching Western equestrian clothing, this study investigated the process in which styles of menswear are introduced into women's sportswear. In addition to women's equestrian clothing shown in paintings and illustrations kept in overseas museums, this study also analyzed books addressing 200 years of Western dress style history, from the late $17^{th}$ century to the $19^{th}$ century. The analysis data present the design characteristics of women's equestrian clothing according to different periods. A total of 21 works were used as research data: two from periods prior to the $17^{th}$ century, three from the $17^{th}$ century, ten from the $18^{th}$ century, and six from the $19^{th}$ century. The research results show that items of trendy menswear were commonly used in women's equestrian clothing during the late $17^{th}$ century - to be specific, in all forms of clothing worn on the upper body, including coat and cravat, tricomhat, and accessories. Women's equestrian clothing after the $18^{th}$ century took the form of menswear. However, the uniform was also generally worn with a fitted, tailored redingote on top of the robe, along with pants. In the $19^{th}$ century, women's equestrian clothing became longer in length, like men's styles. The uniform gradually lost volume, and the jacket became shorter and narrower. In addition, the drawers were replaced with pants that came down to the ankles, which were similar to men's trousers. Breeches also became knee - length, thus following the style of menswear. These results show that women's equestrian clothing, worn during horseback riding, a sport previously enjoyed by Western aristocrats, were similar to what men wore. Also, in contrast to the distinct differences seen between men's and women's daily clothing, the equestrian uniforms of women showed a tendency to follow the clothing style of men.
This study analyzed the effects of internet fashion consumer's impulse buying tendency on positive and negative purchasing behaviors. A survey was conducted from October 1 to December 15 in 2010, and 407 responses from internet fashion consumers who made impulse purchases on the internet at least once for the last 6 months were used in the data analysis. As a result, the impulse buying tendency of internet fashion consumers was classified into pure impulse buying, reminder impulse buying, suggestion impulse buying, and stimulus impulse buying. The positive purchasing behaviors such as repurchase intention and purchase satisfaction were influenced by the impulse buying tendency. The all factors of impulse buying tendency had an effect on repurchase intention, while purchase satisfaction was influenced by the reminder impulse buying, suggestion impulse buying, and stimulus impulse buying. The negative purchasing behaviors were classified into delay in decision making and switching intention of purchase. The delay in decision making was influenced by the stimulus impulse buying, suggestion impulse buying, and reminder impulse buying. Also, the reminder impulse buying, suggestion impulse buying and pure impulse buying had an effect on switching intention of purchase. In addition, there were significant differences in the impulse buying tendency and delay in decision making between male and female internet fashion consumers.
This study analyzed the effects of internet fashion consumer characteristics and shopping motivation on price sensitivity as well as the effect of price sensitivity on negative purchasing behavior. A survey was conducted from August 10 to September 20 in 2012 and 364 responses were used in the data analysis. The statistical analysis methods were frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The characteristics of internet fashion consumers were composed of innovation tendency, impulse buying tendency, information orientation, and variety seeking tendency. Shopping motivation was composed of convenient motivation, social motivation, hedonic motivation, product motivation, and economic motivation. The information orientation and variety seeking tendency of internet fashion consumers influenced the price search. The innovation tendency, impulse buying tendency, and variety seeking tendency of internet fashion consumers influenced the price importance. Convenient motivation, hedonic motivation, and product motivation positively affected the price search; however, social motivation negatively affected the price search. The social motivation, hedonic motivation, and economic motivation of internet fashion consumers positively affected price importance. Price search and price importance influenced the purchasing delay; in addition, price search influenced the switching intention. The results of this study provide useful information for customer management and internet shopping mall marketing strategies.
The purpose of this study was to examine which factors had affected on Internet shopping addiction significantly related to fashion products. 235 female college students were surveyed for this study. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, $X^2$-test, ANOVA and Duncan test were used. As the results, generally Internet shopping addiction was correlated to Internet addiction, impulse, self-esteem, age, the usage time of Internet, and Internet skills. Also, heavy Internet shopping addictive group had higher Internet addictive tendency, impulsive tendency than light Internet shopping addictive group, while heavy Internet shopping addictive group had lower self-esteem than light Internet shopping addictive group. Also, multiple regression results revealed that Internet addictive tendency, self-esteem, impulsive tendency, age accounted for 38.1% of the explained variance in Internet shopping addiction. Based on these results, fashion marketing strategies would be suggested.
The purpose of this study was to investigate clothing behavior and ornaments wear of university students. The subject of this study consists of 241 college students who were attended in Kongju National University. SPSSWIN Program was utilized to calculated frequency(N), mean value(M) and standard deviation(SD) for statistical analysis. Differences among the populations were examined through T-test, F-test, $x^2$-test. The results of this study were as follow : 1. Clothing behavior of university students had significant difference according to sex, grade. In general, female students showed higher score than did male students in clothing interest, clothing conformity, self-estimation about clothing, clothing dependence, clothing aesthetic, clothing modesty, A first-year students had high tendency in clothing interest. 2. The wear of ornaments had significant difference according to variables. Buying the ornaments, most of students sot information in show window and emphasized on design. Male students wanted to have the ornaments of shoes, watch, hat & necklet, but female students wanted to have the ornaments of shoes, earring, necklet & hairpin. 3. Clothing behavior has Influenced university students' ornaments wear. The university students who appeared to be interested in clothes were apparently influenced by peers when selecting ornaments. Ornaments were usually bought in the department store, while belts were among the most popular choices. Students who stressed color when purchasing ornaments showed a high level of interest in and dependence on clothes. On the basic of these results, we can conclude that university students' taste in clothing behavior and use of ornaments wear depend on several different factors. Therefore, it is possible to outline the shift in clothing attitudes during adolescence. In order to understand university students' behaviour concerning clothes, much guidance and various studies on the subject are much recommended.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the size of ready-made clothing for elderly women and to evaluate their fit according to body type. Subjects were 33 women aged 60 and older, and they were classified by stature and drop index. The size of clothing which manufactured by four apparel brands were measured and compared with body size, and the size designation of four brands was compared. The questionnaire was carried out to subjects, and the size recognition and dissatisfaction with ready-made clothing were analyzed. The fitting test were carried out, and the subjects evaluated the fit of jackets and slacks of four brands. In the result of questionnaire, we found that subjects had little recognition about their clothing size. Subjects responded that they often felt dissatisfaction in their jacket length, sleeve length, shoulder width, bust girth, slacks, and waist girth. We found that each apparel brands had different sizing system and that even if the size designation of label was same, the clothing size was quite different. So the elderly women who didn't have so much knowledge about their own clothing size had a tendency to confuse with choosing proper clothing for themselves. In the wearer's evaluation, the significant difference in the degree of unsatisfaction were certified in several body parts according to wearer's body type. Especially, the degree of unsatisfaction in the case of subjects of having very small stature or very small hip was higher than other body types. From the result, we certified that it was necessary to consider the characteristics of each body type to increase the satisfaction of elderly women with clothing.
