  • Growth in online channels has created fierce competition; consequently, retailers have to invest an increasing amount of effort into attracting consumers. In this study, eye-tracking technology examined consumers' visual behavior to gain an understanding of information searching behavior in exploring product information for fashion products. Product attribute information was classified into two image-based elements (model image information and detail image information) and two text-based elements (basic text information, detail text information), after which consumers' visual behavior for each information element was analyzed. Furthermore, whether involvement affects consumers' information search behavior was investigated. The results demonstrated that model image information attracted visual attention the quickest, while detail text information and model image information received the most visual attention. Additionally, high-involvement consumers tended to pay more attention to detailed information while low-involvement consumers tended to pay more attention to image-based and basic information. This study is expected to help broaden the understanding of consumer behavior and provide implications for establishing strategies on how to efficiently organize product information for online fashion stores.

For statistical analysis, frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation, paired t-test, $X^2-test$, one way analysis of variance, Duncan's multiple range test were used. The results were as follows: 1. The $57\%$ of the subject group planned their clothing purchase in advance, ana their friends affected clothing buying behaviors more than other fashion information sources. The store in which the subject group purchased clothing most frequently was a department store. • We intend to analyze reasons for low acceptability of protective clothing in pesticide-spraying farmers in Korea, and to use the information for designing new clothing with better acceptability. To understand the attitude of farmers toward wearing protective clothing during spray, a survey was performed on 256 farmers. It is evident that the stress, which is caused by inadequate body temperature regulation, and its accompanying physiological responses are two of the leading factors for the low acceptability of protective clothing. Although the cost of clothing is not an important factor currently, low cost clothing is desirable in the future. Fancy of design is unimportant for new clothing. The results are discussed in conjunction with a desirable research focus for new types of protective clothing. Efforts should be made to ameliorate thermal stress through protective material development and garment design.

  • This study analyzes the effect of clothing involvement using meta-analysis. Metal-analysis (the analysis of analyses) is widely used in various academic areas to integrate individual empirical studies and generalize the knowledge of a specific research field. Previous studies regarding clothing involvement published since 1990 were researched from the KISS database using clothing involvement and fashion involvement as a keyword; subsequently, 127 articles were identified. Studies that had insufficient statistics or included clothing involvement as a moderating (or intervening variable) were eliminated; subsequently, 36 articles provided a total of 75 data sets that were used for the final analysis. Dependent variables were grouped into 10 categories to compare the differences between high and low involvement groups. The effect size of clothing involvement was large in non-personal information source; however, it was small in utility, brand royalty and quality. In the 7 categories of relational studies that showed homogeneity, the relation size regarding conformity was smaller than the personal information source.

The survey was conducted from December $17^{th}$ 2010 to January $5^{th}$ 2011 and all respondents had previous experiences with on-line purchase of fashion items. The study finds that an information search has three dimensions, recreational search, informative search, and rational search. The effects of both hedonic and utilitarian shopping motives on information search and behavioral intentions are significant. Rational search has a positive effect on switching intention only. Finally, there are significant differences by gender in shopping motives, information search and behavioral intentions.

Subjects for this study were 537 high school students(male ; 225, female : 312) in Seoul Korea. the results of the study were as follow. 1. Four factors of adolescent's delinquency derived by factor analysis : F. 1 'general position delinquency' F. 2 'school-norm delinquency' F3. 'personal delinquency' : F.4 'sexual delinquency'. 2. There were partially significant correlations between the degree of adolescent's delinquency and information search and fashion involvement. There were significant relationships between degree of delinquency and degree of clothing purchasing frequency. companion while shopping and source of clothing expenses. 3. In the case of male students fashion involvement and sexual delinquency had a direct effect on information search(R2 =.278) General position delinquency and allowance had a indirect effect on information search through Father's level of education had a direct effect on allowance. the present findings provide that in general the more allowance students received the higher the general position delinquency for both males and females, The higher the general position delinquency the higher the degree of fashion involvement and information search. Therefore it can be concluded that relatively mild delinquency acts such as drinking. smoking and going to discothque have more influence on fashion involvement and information search that serious delinquency acts such as violence and robbery.
