Cooperative Group Games (CGG) emphasize participation, challenges and fun by cooperation among group members rather than competition. CGGs have been proven to be an efficient education method that teaches the value of cultivating cooperation skills, discipline, and sense of public order for tackling problems together through various types of interactions. When integrated with computer game technology, the general classic CGG can be reborn with new educational and entertaining aspects. To combine the joy of physical movement of group games and the richness of computer game contents, a motion based arcade CGG has been developed in this study, based on the original ideas and structures of classic off-line CGGs. While implementing the classic game concepts in arcade environment, various design attributes have been considered and applied, which were supposed to promote cooperative game play. Overall, the process of the implementation and test results of our four CGGs suggest several design strategies for effective arcade CGGs.

Chinese shadow puppetry is an ancient form of drama with a long history. Known as the "mother of Chinese folk opera", it has rich cultural connotations and artistic value. At the same time, as a classic video game genre, side-scrolling games have many loyal fans around the world. However, in recent years, some previous entertainment cultures such as shadow puppetry are slowly disappearing. In contrast, video games play an increasingly important role in people's entertainment. Combining Chinese traditional culture with video games can be a great way to promote the preservation of these cultures. By making traditional culture more accessible and engaging, developers can help to ensure that these cultures continue to be enjoyed by future generations. The side-scrolling game is a classic game type, and it has many similarities with shadow puppetry. This paper will analyze the similarities and differences between Chinese shadow puppetry and horizontal version games, and try to explore how to organically integrate the two, so as to promote the inheritance and development of traditional culture, and promote cultural innovation and the development of creative industries.
After 20thcentury, digital game has placed very important aspect in modern culture and industries. Thus, digital game industries have utilized ancient stories for themes and ideas. This trial is not only spotted in industrial sectors but also in liberal arts. This paper has a purpose to look at factors that can convert components from classic novels into digital games. Especially, it will focus on how researchers of classical literature can affect in different industrial sectors. Current analysis shows that stories, fantasies, items of classic novel can essentially help to create new games. However, a game consists of just more than the previous stated components; it requires rules, outcome, conflicts and voluntary to make the games much more interesting. It is often misunderstood that plot and fantasies in games may be the most significant aspects but they are actually not. Classic novel can help to make the rule of the four standards in creating a fun game. Here are rules that Taewonji suggests. First, gamers need to save the bleak world from a turbulent age. Second, The will of the absolute has the ultimate power, so those who have achieved god's will can raise a new country. Thirdly, the sinocentrism and the outskirts of the country are not imperative but they are adjustable notions. The first and second aspects are commonly found in Samkukjiyeonui. Hence, the pattern is very familiar. The most significant rule is the third determinant since the idea purely came from Taewonji. The main character Im Seong from the story was the center of his home country, but he later becomes the outskirt or the barbarian of the new country. Therefore, the players should maintain the three rules when they are following the plot and using different items in the digital game world. The researchers of classic literature should find rules that are suitable for the game from the classic novels. This way, there is no need to discover a separate field for digital games out of classical literature.
This Study analyzes gameness in SNS. SNS is not only communication tool for real life but also game like media for the experimental fiction. As the media like games, SNS meets 6 classic game features. After the Tatradic analysis, Expressive and manipulation rules move SNS paidia direction, player's effort and negotiable outcome are obsolesced. Player's attachment is enhanced and in SNS, the tradition of MUD retrieves abstract ground with representative expression. As following result, SNS is able to extend its own area to the player's creative world for the possible. SNS is the media like games.
With the spread of game platforms fueled by the development of smartphones, such classic games as and have been transplanted in smartphone and visual media. Which stirred an issue among gamers because classic games were the materials used. However, there is a lot of room for improvement because it developed from a different viewpoint from the experiences of gamers in many cases. Based on the judgment that the reasons why the experiences of gamers were not reproduced in visual media lay in intertextuality between games and visual media, this study analyzed "Pixels" as a case of good intertexts. The analysis results of intertextuality in the game show that it applied quotation, summary, mending, and satirical travesty to the elements only known to gamers in addition to a simple arrangement of representations and parody, thus succeeding in reproducing the experiences of gamers. It also took into account popular appeal with a fresh direction not familiar to non-gamers.
This paper made a comparative study on domestic and international game archives that preserve and study the history of games. Based on that, it suggests the structure to classify and build a database to establish a history museum of games. The objective to gather and preserve history of games is mainly in order to build a baseline for ludology studies, but not solely for that reason. This study proposes the series of procedures of gathering, preserving, classifying, displaying and referencing digital games according to the academic field of Media Archaeology.

The purpose of this paper is to analyse outcomes of Korean Pro-basketball games using regression models. Both Classic Fuzzy Regression Model and Fuzzy Regression Model applying linguistic variables were used to meet the purpose of the paper. In General Regression Analysis, in which the results of games are expressed and analyzed through score differences, a regression model is proposed considering influential variables for the score differences of the two teams. In Fuzzy Regression Analysis, the results are sorted into six different literal expressions, 'win with large margin, win with moderate margin, win with narrow margin, defeat with narrow margin, defeat with moderate margin, and defeat with large margin'. Athletic performances and team work of each teams were expressed in fuzzy number to analyse how much athletic performances and team work affect results of games. This paper referred back to 2013-2014 season data provided by KBL(Korean Basketball League) and professional columns on Korean basketball analysis.
The FPS, featured with high quality graphic of superior visual reality, is steadily growing because of the improvement of computer performance and technological advancement of game production. But most of the FPS games provide monotonous freedom with which players can only change the weapons in one character and this will make users lose their interests when playing games for long hours. Valve has introduced 'Team Fortress Classic' in 1999, in order to change the monotonous game methods. This game has attracted great attention because of the composition of various and unique characters through the introduction of military specialty system: that is the first trial in the history of FPS game. I, by analyzing this using MBTI, intend to analyze how much of immersion and interest the characters of various military specialties can provide to players when FPS games are developed.

Whether it is an online game or a stand alone game, research will ultimately never stop to increase the degree of realistic expression of visual effects. Recently, realistic characters are appearing in games. Particularly, due to the development of virtual reality technology, RPG games with simulation-based realistic images are becoming popular. The player can experience the story of the game in the game and experience difficulty level by level. As other players, teammates, or enemy characters appear as realistic characters, and the episode of the game expands, the importance of realistic game characters is growing so that they can play more. Adding a realistic game character to a game based on a classic movie character gives the player a more realistic and interesting visual experience. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of realistic character style on the fun and visual effects of games.
