Many industries like energy, utilities, ice cream and leisure sports are closely related to the weather. In order to hedge weather related risks, they invest their assets with portfolios like option, coupons, future, and other weather derivatives. Among weather related derivatives, CDD and HDD index options are mainly transacted between companies. In this paper, the autocorrelation system of temperature will be checked for several cities in Korea and the parameter estimation will be carried based on the maximum likelihood estimation. Since the log likelihood increase as the number of parameters increases, we adopt the Schwarz information criterion .

Google Trends provides weekly information on keyword search frequency on the Google search engine. Search volume patterns for the search keyword can also be analyzed based on category and by the location of those making the search. Also, Google provides “Hot searches” and “Top charts” including top and rising searches that include the search keyword. All this information is kept up to date, and allows trend comparisons by providing past weekly figures. In this study, we present a predictive model for TV markets using the searched data in Google search engine (Google Trend data). Using a predictive model for the market and analysis of the Google Trend data, we obtained an efficient and meaningful result for the TV market, and also determined highly ranked countries and cities. This method can provide very useful information for TV manufacturers and others.

Art of today is expressed in various images incorporated in industrial development and visible in industrial parks, modern cities. Avant garde art and modernism brought abstract and conceptual art into conflict in the early 20th century and they absorbed elements of each other and grew into post modernism, which emerged in the 1960s and is still current. The avant garde challenged what was lofty and sometimes opposed modernism and sometimes fed it in cycles until post modernism was established. 'Trans avant garde', which, unlike modernism asserted individual expression, also appeared in the 1970s. Trans avant garde is spiritual art in which the artist's conversation with his soul returns. This study examines the readjustments the trans avant garde is making in its relationship with the dominant ethos of different values and offers the world art with important spiritual beauty. Trans avant garde art takes many forms, from thing to huge, which are manifested every where in architecture, interior design and everyday life.

This paper, based on the surveys on 43 cases in whole Korea, aims to analyze the architectural principles extracted from the religious dogmas and to propose the direction of the expression of tradition in Korean religious architecture. Buddhist temples in the modern cities. Catholic churches, Anglican churches, Protestant churches have similar problems and attitudes on the expression of traditiov. They have not yet various subjects on the expression of tradition as 'tradition' is not distinguished from 'transmission'. It is not caused only by the general phase of Korean modern architecture, but also by the lack of the practical theology which extract architectural principles from religious dogma and history. I proposed 'Architectural vocabulary', 'Architectural syntax', 'Architectural idea', and 'Symbolization of interior space' , 'Architectural zeitgeist' as the ideal approach.

In order to overcome such limits of hotel sales, the role of hotel public section, such as eating and drinking facilities, is very important. Moreover, city hotels increase the value of public section by providing various event for citizens as well as and services for banquet. Since Jeju has urban hotels and resort hotels mixed together, their Plane types and area composition based on the characters of customers using the public section are different from ones of other cities. The purpose of this study is to provide basic material for the qualify improvement of the luxury resort hotels in Jeju. We examine the tendency of the systematic Plane composition of the Public sections which take different types of customers, such as Jeju people and tourists, into consideration, analyzing the plane types and the area composition of the luxury resort hotels in Jeju. The study shows that the public part of hotels always had great impact on hotels sales depending on the compositions of plane and area.

This study concentrates on a new idea that is formulated as a creative space recognition in contemporary architecture and painting. It is stimulated from Deleuze's philosophy, which is expressed with the philosophical instrument, "Non-Representation". After discussing the concept of non-representation used in Deleuze's philosophy, case example in contemporary architecture are analysed to comparatively Investigate the relationship between the architectures by Rem Koolhaas and painting by Francis Bacon. Therefore, he founds expressions of "diagram" and "movement" in painting of F. Bacon. Diagram meansit is a power that is comprised of various points of wiew with the kind experiences that one has in life. Movement that were extracted form the Instrument in space recognition of Deleuze's panting theory were of topology, insertion of geometry, reiteration of layers, transparency and translucency, reflection effect.

In the history of space design, the concept and application of Multi-Layer can be easily found in various projects. As life styles in the contemporary cities are becoming more and more complex and inter-related to each other, the concept of multi-layer is re-considered In terms of constructing differentiated life patterns as well as multi programs within certain physical buildings or designs. This study aims to analyze the brief history of multi-layer in space design and the contemporary applications in recent architectural as well as interior design projects. It is concluded that the concept of multi layer is not only useful for constructing an interesting spatial organizations, but can also be a vital tool for re-organizing the contemporary urban programs that cannot be considered with the preconceived existing terms.

Meaningless in such a rapidly grown society to have a conventional and tedious understanding and interpretation of the public only in terms of the relationship of others. This study, therefore, investigates and developed the notion and the importance of the public that has been formed and developed with the urban growth and that has disappeared through modernization. The mixed-use building is certainly one of the significant alternatives for urban dwelling based on the over-crowded urban condition as well as the ever-changing contemporary life patterns. It is clear that residential and other programs somehow are becoming more separated in most high quality mixed-use buildings in Seoul. Thus making the space between residential and other programs where diverse multi activities can be inserted is extremely important in terms of bridging the different urban programs. This research aims to briefly analyze the mixed-use programs in contemporary cities and case projects to see how they respond to unique characteristics of each projects by creating different mixed zones and spaces.

Various kinds discussion are brought up to the table about modern social phenomenons that are practically difficult sometimes even impossible to predict in field of architecture. At the very moment, 'landscape' emerged as an important concept defining contemporary architecture a very different way. Architects have and still are processing various experiments with the changed concept of 'landscape' as it became new means to construct reality. In modern cities that have possibility and potential energy, many architects have proposed 'Landscape architecture' as an architecture mode that have indeterminacy and open to all possibilities. The present study analyzes the characteristics of landscaping that appear in contemporary architecture and interior space in recent years, and present landscape as a new possibility in interior space.
