부모-아동 상호작용치료가 양육기술과 아동의 문제행동에 미치는 영향: 메타분석 (Effects of Parent-Child Interaction Therapy on Parenting Skill and Children's Problem Behaviors: Meta-Analysis)

  • 목적 : 본 연구는 부모-아동 상호작용치료가 장애아동 부모의 양육기술과 아동의 문제행동에 미치는 영향을 메타분석으로 검증하여 중재 방법의 근거를 제공하고자 한다. 연구방법 : 본 연구는 2007년 1월부터 2018년 3월까지 출판된 연구 중 장애아동을 대상으로 부모-아동 상호작용 프로그램을 사용한 연구를 대상으로 하였다. 논문 검색은 PubMed, CINAHL, EBSCOhost, Science Direct를 이용하였고, 이차적으로 검색논문의 참고문헌을 추가 검색하였다. 총 7편의 연구가 선정기준에 적합하였고, 최종 논문에 대해 Jadad scale를 이용하여 질적 평가를 수행하였다. R-meta 분석프로그램을 사용하여 통계적 검정을 실시하였다. 결과 : 부모-아동 상호작용치료의 양육기술 효과크기는 큰 효과크기를 나타냈으며, 양육 스트레스 효과크기는 중간크기를 나타냈다. 아동의 문제행동 또한 중간 효과크기를 나타냈으며 모든 p값은 통계적으로 유의하였다(p<.0001). 결론 : 본 연구는 부모-아동 상호작용치료가 부모의 양육기술과, 양육 스트레스, 아동의 문제행동에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 앞으로 아동작업치료에서 가족참여 중재에 대한 근거 마련을 위한 연구가 필요하다.

아동의 스트레스 대처행동과 사회적 적응 및 행동문제 (Effects of Stress Coping Behaviors on Social Adjustments and Problem Behaviors in Childhood)

  • This study was designed to investigate the relation between stress coping behavior and social adjustments in late childhood. Total 657 teenagers (238 ten-year-olds, 230 twelve-year-olds, and 189 fourteen-year-olds) and their parents living in Inchon area participated in the study. Each child was evaluated whether they cope either (a) defensively or (b) actively in several stressful domains by completing the Stress Coping Hating Scales (Korean). Their social adjustments were measured in areas like peer relationship, family relationship, and conformity with Social Adjustment Scales (Korean). The final examination scores were used to rate children’s Academic Achievements. Finally Korean version of Achenbach’s Child Behavior Check List were completed by parents. As results, girls were found to use more defensive strategies to cope stress, showed more conformity and withdrawn behaviors and achieved higher scores academically than boys. Generally younger children tended to adjust better socially than older children. As children grew older they used more and more defensive strategies to cope with everyday stress. Also older children showed more withdrawn behavior and aggressive behavior than younger children. As anticipated children who used more defensive coping strategies were reported to have more behavior problems, showed poorer social adjustments and academic achievements. Children who used more active coping strategies, on the other hands, were reported to haute less behavior problems, adjusted better socially and had better academia achievements. Finally children who adjusted better socially and had high academic achievements were reported to have less behavior problems.

유아의 부적응 행동과 교사의 교수적 스트레스 및 교사-유아 관계 (The Effects of Children's Maladjusted Behaviors on Teaching Stress and Teacher-Child Relationship)

  • The goal of this research was to clarify how a child's maladjustment affects the teacher-child relationship and leads to teaching stress. Subjects were 178 teacher-child pairs in kindergartens or day care centers. The child was 3 to 5-years-old and perceived by its teacher as having maladjusted behavior. Teachers responded to the Index of Teaching Stress(Greene, Abidin, & Kmetz, 1997) and the Student-Teacher Relationships Scale(Pianta 1991). The maladjusted behaviors observed by teachers were correlated with each other. ADHD was the biggest problem perceived by teachers. Most fields of maladjusted children's behaviors caused stress to teachers except those of intellectual deficit and academic Problems. Frustration peaked during the teaching process. More severely maladjusted behaviors resulted in greater conflict in teacher-child relationships.

주의력결핍 과잉행동장애 아동에서 학습동기증진프로그램 (The Learning Motivation Improvement Program in Children with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder(ADHD))

  • Objectives : Motivational factor is a unique contributor to the typically poor academic performance of children with ADHD. However, few study has directly intervened learning motivation in children with ADHD. We conducted this study to explore the direct effects of the learning motivation improvement program applied to children with ADHD. Method The program was designed in order to increase an interest-inducing educational intervention, an academic skills integration, a basic learning activity (reading, writing, and math), and children's self-esteem. We conducted the program twice a week (total 10 sessions) and assessed learning motivation, teaming attitude, self-esteem, academic performance, and problem behaviors of participating children. Results : After the program, teachers reported improvement in teaming motivation. In addition, parents notified sisnificant reduction of problem behaviors. Children reported improvement in a few domains of teaming motivation and learning attitude. Conclusion : While loaming motivation is regarded as an important factor in education, there have been few studies considering this issue in both educational and psychiatric fields. The teaming motivation improvement would be needed in both field in order to reduce the deficits in academic performance in children with ADHD.

기혼자녀와 동거하는 노부모의 갈등과 대처행동 및 심리적 적응 (Conflict Coping Behavior and Psychological Adjustment of Elderly with Coresiding Adult Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the trend of conflict of elderly coresiding adult children and to find out what behaviors they choose to cope with conflicts. Also this study tried to investigate how those coping behaviors affected elderly parents' psychological adjustment. The subjects of this study were 218 elderly parents coresiding with adult children in Seoul metropolitan areas. Data were analyzed by using statistics such as factor analysis t-test one-way ANOVA Pearson's correlation through SPSS/PC computer programs. The major findings were as follows: In general elderly parents perceived low level of conflicts with their adult children. Elderly parents with bad health condition no religion lack of personal expenses and low level of statndard of living showed more conflicts. Each of four major coping behaviors was affected by different factors. The most effective variables affecting elderly parents' psychological adjustment was active problem solving activity.

교사-유아관계와 유아의 사회적 능력과의 관계 (Relationship of Children with Their Teachers and Children's Social Competence)

  • This study was designed to examine the relationships between three distinct dimensions of teacher-child relationship(closeness, conflict, and dependency) and various aspects of children's social competence. The subjects were 101 children at their ages of five to six years old (56 keys, 45 girls) in Jeonju city. The data were collected through preschool teachers by using self-administered questionnaire method. The results showed that teacher-child relationship was significantly associated with their social competence in preschool. Specifically, closeness in children's relationship with their teachers was fouled to be strongly correlated with children's social competence, white conflict between children and their teachers was negatively related with children's social competence. Finally, children's dependency on their Coachers was associated with children's problem behaviors.

Relation of obesity-related attitudes, knowledge, and eating behaviors with body weight and body shape satisfaction in $5^{th}$-grade Korean children

  • Obesity is a worldwide epidemic problem. The downward trend of an obesity onset age calls for research efforts on how to develop useful nutrition educational programs for children to maintain adequate body weight. Understanding the roles of objective and subjective body status in obesity-related attitudes, knowledge, and behaviors can provide important information. The current study aimed to examine obesity-related attitudes and knowledge and practices of eating behavior guidelines in relation to obesity and body shape satisfaction among children. The gender effect in the relations was also investigated. A self-administered survey was conducted with 260 fifth grade children at 2 public elementary schools in the suburbs of Seoul. Information on demographics, body size, body satisfaction, obesity-related attitudes and knowledge, and eating behaviors was collected. Study findings from one-way analysis of variance tests indicated no differences in mean scores of the attitudes, knowledge, and eating behaviors across the levels of obesity for both gender. The levels of body shape satisfaction was, however, found to be significantly related with the attitudes and eating behaviors in girls, while no such relation was seen in boys. Girls with lower body shape dissatisfaction had significantly more negative attitudes toward obesity which was not translated into practice of healthy eating behaviors. That is, contrary to general expectation, the level of practicing the eating behavior guidelines was significantly lower in those girls. While underlying reasons for this observation is not fully answered, gender-specific, body satisfaction-stratified, and behavior-focused approach in designing obesity prevention programs for elementary school girls is suggested efficient and useful.

경제적 곤란과 가족갈등이 아동의 적응에 미치는 영향: 아동의 스트레스와 스트레스 대처방식의 상호작용을 중심으로 (Effects of Economic Strain and Family Conflict on Children's Adjustment : Focused on Interaction Effects of Children's Stress and Coping Strategies)

  • 본 연구는 아동이 인지한 가정의 경제적 곤란과 가족갈등 스트레스가 문제행동과 학교적응에 미치는 영향을 아동의 스트레스와 대처방식 간의 상호작용에 관심을 두고 접근하였다. 자료는 C도에 거주하는 12세-15세의 아동 1,200명에 대한 설문조사를 통해 수집, 최종적으로 1,115부를 통계분석하였다. 자료분석결과, 아동의 문제행동과 학교적응에 차이를 가져오는 일반적 특성은 아동의 성, 학년과 성적이 대표적이었고, 가족유형에 따른 차이는 없었다. 경제적 곤란과 가족갈등 스트레스는 적응에 유의한 변수로 나타났으나 성에 따라 차이가 있어 남아는 내 외현화 문제행동에 경제적 곤란과 가족갈등이 영향을 미쳤으나 여아의 내재화 문제행동에는 경제적 곤란의 영향력은 유의하지 않았다. 상호작용에서도 남아의 경우 모든 적응문제에 스트레스 변인과 대처방식의 상호작용효과가 유의하였으며, 여아의 경우에는 공격성, 비행 및 불안 우울에서만 상호작용효과가 유의하게 나타났다. 아동의 스트레스 대처방식이 부적응 예방 프로그램의 한 영역으로서 연구 개발될 필요성이 논의되었다.

A Study on Gendered Portrayals in Children's Picture Books with Mathematical Content

  • This study analyzes sexism in children's picture books that incorporate mathematical problems and problem-solving into the plot to determine if children's earliest reading material is affecting the achievement gap between males and females in this subject area. The study focused not just on overall totals of male and female characters, but also analyzed which genders most often portrayed gender stereotyped behaviors and personality traits and which characters were most often shown with mathematical skills. The findings of the study show that there were twice as many male as female characters, and the math problem-solving was generally done by males in the majority of titles.

어머니의 분노와 우울이 유아문제행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Mother's Anger and Depression on Young Children's Problem Behavior)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 자녀를 두고 있는 어머니의 분노와 우울이 유아문제행동에 미치는 영향을 확인하는데 있다. 자료수집은 2019년 5월 1일부터 7월 1일까지이며, 대전, 부산, 울산에 소재한 3곳의 유아교육기관에 영유아 자녀를 위탁한 어머니 244명이었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 24.0을 사용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, multiple liner regression analysis를 이용하였다. 본 연구 결과 유아문제행동은 어머니의 분노(r=.261, p<.001), 우울(r=.435, p<.001)과 통계적으로 유의한 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 다중회귀분석결과 유아문제행동에 유의하게 영향을 미치는 요인은 어머니의 우울(𝛽=16.57, p<.001)로 총 설명력은 19.2%이었다. 따라서 어머니의 정서적 지지와 함께 우울영향 요인 감소를 지원하는 부모교육프로그램 개발 필요성에 대한 시사점을 제공하였다.
