In Nuri curriculum, Korean traditional culture has presented by 'Our country's plays and arts'. Games in the traditional play culture for children include ones such as tangram, top-spinning game, game of slap-match, sabangchigi. In this paper, we analyse concepts of mathematics in Korean childhood traditional plays. In detail, we show that number concepts, geometric space sense, measure calculation ability and problem-solving capability through 15 Korean traditional games.

본 연구의 목적은 스마트 교육 도입 및 활용에 대한 예비 유아 교사의 인식과 태도를 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 J시, 전문대학 유아교육과에 재학 중인 예비 유아 교사 262명을 연구 대상으로 선정하여 설문지와 포커스 면접을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 예비 유아 교사는 대부분 스마트 폰을 사용하며, 하루 2시간 이상을 통화하는 용도이외로 사용하였다. 용도는 주로 메신저로 사용하는 것으로 나 타났다. 스마트 교육의 도입 및 활용에 대한 태도는 개인적 변인에서는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았고, 수업에서의 기기 활용 경험, 발달에 대한 영향에 따라 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 포커스 면접을 통하여. 예비 유아 교사의 스마트 교육 도입 및 활용에 대한 인식을 분석한 결과, 2개의 주제, 4개 영역, 18개의 의미 범주가 나타났다.

본 연구는 4차 산업 혁명 및 융·복합 시대에 예비유아교사 양성을 위해 유아교육분야에서 적용 가능한 교수학습방법을 제안한다. 코로나19 등으로 디지털기술 활용이 극대화되고, 각 분야의 경계가 모호해지고 융복합을 강조하는 시대에 전문직업인을 양성하는 전문대학에서 신입생 대상 디지털 역량 강화를 위한 교수학습모형이 필요하다. 본 연구는 4차 산업혁명시대에 유아교육에 있어서 ICT교육 활성화 방안을 제시하고, 융복합 교수학습모형을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 통해 예비유아교사는 디지털역량을 강화하고 유아교육기관에 제공할 영상콘텐츠 및 활동, 교재교구 제작을 통해 유아교육분야에 기여하도록 한다. 또한 유아교육뿐만 아니라 다른 전공분야로 공유·확산하여 디지털 역량을 향상시키며 각 분야의 영상 제작 및 활용에 대한 과목 운영이 가능하다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among early childhood teachers' attitudes toward music education, music teaching practice, and music teaching efficacy. A total of 255 early childhood teachers participated in the study and data were analyzed through frequency, percentile, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and Pearson's correlation. The results of this study indicated that early childhood teachers' music teaching efficacy, attitudes toward music education and music teaching practice were influenced mainly by the teacher's own educational level. They also showed that early childhood teachers' music teaching efficacy, attitudes toward music education, and music teaching practice were correlated with one another. In conclusion, the early child teachers' sense of music teaching efficacy turned out to be a very important factor in early childhood teachers' music education.

The purpose of this study was to develop and test the validity of an assessment scale for determining the competency of early childhood teachers practicing unification education. For this purpose, an evaluation scale was constructed and then tested for reliability and validity. Participants for this study included 266 early childhood teachers in the unification education field. In order to the measure reliability and validity of this scale, Exploratory Factor Analysis and Confirmatory Factor Analysis were conducted with SPSS 18.0 and AMOS. The result of this study identified four principal factors: 1) Instruction skills, 2) Evaluation, 3) Attitude, and 4) Knowledge. The results of this study supported the scale's reliability and legitimacy as a valid instrument for the evaluation of early childhood teacher's competence in unification education.

본 연구는 교육 공공성의 개념적 요소에 비추어 현재 유아교육의 현황을 짚어보고, 향후 유아교육 발전을 위한 정책적 과제들을 도출하기 위해 수행되었다. 정부 공식문서, 국책연구기관 보고서를 수집하여 정성적 문헌분석을 실시하였으며, 공공성 구성요소들을 준거로 하여 유아교육의 공공성 수준을 평가하였다. 연구결과 그 동안의 우리나라의 유아교육 정책은 누리과정 도입 등 유아교육의 공공성을 강화하는 방향으로 추진되어 왔다. 공공성의 양적 확대는 이루어졌으나, 이제는 공공성의 질적 강화에 초점을 둔 정책방향의 재설정 및 제도보완이 요구된다. 본 연구는 유아교육 전반에 대한 재검토 방향에 대한 시사점을 제공하였다.

유아교육은 지식의 전달보다는 지도자에 의하여 유아의 감각을 키우는 과정이라는 특징으로 인하여, 위드 코로나 시대에서도 유아 원격교육은 일대일 비대면 교육 보다는, 유아교육 꾸러미 등 배포된 자료나 TV등의 매체를 통하여 학부모가 직접 돌보는 방식으로 원격교육이 진행되었다. 연구자는 선행연구 고찰 및 학부모 집중 인터뷰를 통하여, 교육 콘텐츠의 확대 및 접근성 확대, 유아 원격교육의 기본지식 이해, 실시간 원격교육을 통한 유아의 사회성 증대 필요 등의 원격교육 요구사항을 파악하였고, 현재 제공중인 원격교육 관련 솔루션이 유아교육에는 적합하지 않다는 것을 파악하였다. 이에 따라, 연구자는 다양성, 용이성, 실시간 소통, 통합이라는 유아 원격교육 솔루션의 기본방향(VERI)을 제시하고, 유아, 학부모, 교사가 함께 콘텐츠를 공유하고, 실시간 및 비실시간 소통을 할 수 있는 Web/App 솔루션 개발을 제안하였다. 이러한 원격교육 솔루션은 단지 가이드라인과 자료만 제시하고 있는 현재 상황을 유아-학부모-교사가 함께 소통하고, 콘텐츠를 공유하게 되어, 위드 코로나 시대의 유아 원격교육을 효율적으로 지원할 것으로 기대한다.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to explore the early childhood education teacher's ability to implement play-centered curriculum that is recognized by an early childhood education expert based on an analysis of focus group interviews. Methods: Two professors of early childhood education, two directors of daycare centers, and two early childhood education teachers participated in the focus group interview. The interview was conducted three times. The interviewed data were categorized and compared. Results: The action competence of the play-centered curriculum required for early childhood teachers were categorized into the following categories; comprehending play, recognizing play, and practicing child-centered play. Detailed factor competencies were required for understanding play, reflective thinking, reading play, recording play, playing like a child, and supporting play. Conclusion/Implications: For actualizing play-centered curriculum, early childhood education teachers needed to comprehend, recognize, and practice for child's play. Furthermore, we discussed the necessity and direction of teacher education to improve the teacher's action competence for play-centered curriculum.

Understanding teachers in the early childhood education is crucial as it can not only affect the quality of children's education but also cause many critical problems such as child abuse. A significant amount of research work has been made on the use of robots in childcare classrooms. The finding from the research has shown many advantages such as the improvement of learning performance, social/emotional skills, creativity, concentration period, physical and cognitive development. However, most of the study has been implemented at the K-12 classrooms but not much has been focused on the education at the early childhood classrooms. Importantly, it is very crucial to understand teachers' perception, demands and technical competence about the new teaching tool, in order to maximize its educational effect. This paper investigates some critical issues existing in both teaching and managing in the early childhood education. It will also explore teachers' perceptions and expectations on the use of robots to identify some dilemmas that exist in their working and teaching environment. A survey study was conducted with 119 early childhood educators in South Korea. It analyzed the educators' perception of using robots to improve their teaching performance and to make better outcomes for children, investigated job satisfaction and difficulties that they have in the current work environment. This paper concludes with several guidelines for integrating and setting robotics in the early childhood environment, in order to engender productive outcomes for the future early childhood education.

본 연구는 예비유아교사들이 기획, 설계, 제작을 하는 방안 및 수업모형 운영 결과를 제안한다. 이를 위해 유아교육 현장에서 요구하는 만3세부터 5세까지 각 연령에 맞는 동영상 컨텐츠와 다양한 주제와 영상 재생시간의 동영상 콘텐츠를 파악하여, 현재 유아교육기관에 재직 중인 종사자들의 의견을 적극적으로 수렴하고 이를 바탕으로 대학 교육과정에서의 현장맞춤형 동영상 콘텐츠 개발 방안을 제시한다. 이는 예비유아교사들에게 디지털역량을 비롯하여 자기이해역량, 공동체역량, 창의융합역량을 향상하도록 한다. 이를 통해 스마트한 유아교사 양성과 최신 동영상 기술을 적용한 유치원 활동 및 환경 조성에 기여하고자 한다.
