지역사회 보육시설에서의 방문간호사 활용을 위한 기초조사연구 (A Survey on the Use of Visiting Nurses in Child Day Care Centers)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to contribute children's health care and health promotion by surveying the use of visiting nurses in child day care centers. Methods: This study is a descriptive study, and the study period covers July to September, 2010. The research subjects were 27 public health center managers, 166 visiting nurses and 137child care teachers. Results: Teachers' need of visiting health care services and visiting nurses' work performance of were statistically significantly different. The teachers' need of visiting health care was higher in all areas (health examination, health life practice, infectious disease control, safety accidents and disaster management, emergency measures and linkage, nutrition, parent education) but the visiting nurses had a low level of work performance. Conclusion: Child care teachers are not health professionals for child health care, and therefore they are in need of professional help. Thus, for the current public health centers in need of customized visit health care, new visiting nurses in charge of professional child health care need to be developed. Also, new models need to be developed for visiting nurses and child care teachers through the connection of community child health care.

영아 무상보육 정책 분석 (A Study on the Policy for Free Child Care for 0-2 Year old Children)

  • 본 연구는 정부의 영아 무상보육 정책과 관련된 논란과 쟁점을 정리 분석하고 향후 우리나라 0~2세 영아보육 정책이 나아가야 할 발전방향을 제안하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 분석을 위해서 그동안 정부에 의해 발표된 영아 보육정책과 영아보육 통계 그리고 2012년 영아 무상보육과 관련된 일간지의 기사 등의 자료를 수집하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과 출산휴가와 육아휴직제도의 안정적인 실시, 맞벌이 부부에 대한 보육료 지원의 형펑성 확보, 양육보조금의 현실화, 부모의 어린이집 선택권 확대, 소규모 가정보육제도의 도입, 그리고 영아발달에 대한 지식과 육아정보의 제공 등을 영아보육정책의 발전방안으로 제안하였다. 본 연구의 제안은 영유아의 요구와 필요를 최우선적으로 고려하고 부모의 요구에 부합하는 실효성 있는 영아보육정책을 개발 실행하는데 도움이 될 것이다.

전통 '효'개념에서 본 부모역할 인식과 자녀양육행동 (Perception of Parental Filial Piety and Child-Rearing Behavior)

  • This study investigated parental perceptions and practice of filial piety and in child rearing practices regarding filial piety. The subjects of this study were 681 parents. 1) The results showed that most parents perceive, practice and teach their children the 12 virtues of filial piety. 2) There were significant differences in fathers' view (perception, practices, education) of ancestor- worship as found according to child developmental stage. The significant of difference in mother's perceptions of emotional-care, ancestor-worship and persuasion and moral training was found according to child developmental stage. The significant differences in mother's practices in moral-training, economic-support, persuation, and ancestor-worship were found according to child developmental stage. The singificant differences in mother's child-rearing in gratefulness, moral-training, emotional-care, persuasion, obedience to parents, and ancestor-worship were found according to child developmental stage. 3) Traditional child-rearing behavior has declined.

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 어린이집에서의 다양한 유아를 위한 보육(장애아보육, 다문화가정 유아보육, 영아보육, 시간연장형보육)의 발전방안을 모색하는 데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 먼저 어린이집에서의 장애아 보육과 통합보육 및 다문화가정 보육과 영아 보육의 현황 및 정책과 이에 따른 연구동향에 대해 살펴본 후, 문제점 및 개선점을 제시하고, 발전방안을 제안하였다. 이러한 기초자료 제공 및 관련 논의를 통해 장애아 보육과 특수보육 등의 다양한 보육 대상자를 위한 포괄적 서비스 제공을 도모함으로써 보육의 질적 수준을 제고하는 데 기여하고자 한다.

신생아집중치료실 간호사의 캥거루 돌보기에 대한 인식과 장애 (Perception and Barriers to Kangaroo-Mother Care Among Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurses)

  • Purpose: To investigate the perception and barriers of Kangaroo-Mother Care (KMC) among nurses in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU). Methods: Participants were 131 nurses working in NICU who completed self-report questionnaires which included information regarding perception, barriers, and practice of KMC. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 program for descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficients. Results: Of the participants, 33.6% reported the practice of KMC in their NICU, with 75.6% wanting to receive training in KMC and 31.3% having received KMC education. Most of the participants agreed that KMC enhances attachment, parental confidence, and effective breast feeding but they reported a negative perception in providing KMC for premature infants weighing less than 1000 grams or intubated premature infants. Major barriers to practicing KMC were safety of infants, possible work overload for nurses, as well as absence of consistent guidelines. Barriers to KMC among nurses who received the KMC training were lower than nurses who did not receive the KMC training (t=-2.11, p=.037). Conclusion: Education program and standardized clinical practice protocol should be developed to foster the positive perception and to reduce nurse barriers to KMC.

응급처치교육 프로그램이 보육교사들의 응급상황 대처 의지 및 지식에 미치는 효과 (Effects of First Aid Training Program on Child Care Teachers' Coping Intentions and Knowledge in the Case of Emergency Situations)

  • 본 연구는 보육교사들의 응급처치 프로그램이 응급상황 대처 지식 및 의지에 미치는 영향과 응급처치교육 요구 내용을 분석하여 보육교사들의 효과적인 응급처치 교육 방법을 제안하기 위해 실시하였다. 연구대상은 승급교육을 받는 보육교사 159명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 보육교사들은 응급처치교육 이수와 관계없이 응급상황에 적극적으로 대처할 의지를 가지고 있으나 그렇지 않은 교사들은 법적책임에 대한 부담과 응급처치 기술에 대한 자신감 부족이 원인이었다. 둘째, 응급처치교육을 받은 교사들이 그렇지 않은 교사들보다 응급처치지식에 대한 지식이 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 보육교사들이 희망하는 응급처치교육의 형태는 실습형태를 가장 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 보육교사들이 희망하는 응급처치 교육내용은 심폐소생술과 기도폐쇄, 화상처치와 체온 관련 증상으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 보육교사 양성과정에서 응급처치교육이 필요하고, 응급처치교육은 실습위주의 교육이어야 하며, 응급처치 교육 내용은 보육교사들의 요구를 기초로 구조화 할 필요성을 제시하였다.

임산부 한의약건강증진프로그램의 효과 (Effect of Korean medicine health promotion program for maternal health)

  • Objectives: The aim of this study is to survey on the effect of Korean medicine health promotion program for maternal health. Methods: We conducted Korean medicine health promotion program for maternal health to pregnant women who agreed to participate in this program among 10 public health center. Before and after program, we surveyed the Knowledge Score of Maternal Health Care, Practice of Health Behavior, (Traditional) Child Care Recognition, Depression, Child Caring Confidence and analyzed DID(Difference In Difference). Results: The Knowledge Score of Maternal Health Care of intervention group was improved about 1 point. The improvement of (Traditional) Child Care Recognition was significant. Depression score of intervention group was improved high significantly. The Child Caring Confidence of intervention group was improved about 1.3 point. Conclusion: As a result of analyzing the effect of Korean medicine health promotion program for maternal health, it is confirmed that this program can have an impact on improving Knowledge Score of Maternal Health Care, (Traditional) Child Care Recognition, Depression, Child Caring Confidence. It will be necessary to continue and develop this program widely.

보육교사의 반응성 상호작용 전략 적용을 통한 영아의 중심축 행동 발달 (Development of infants' pivotal behaviors using the responsive interaction strategy of child care teachers)

  • 본 연구는 보육교사들이 반응성 상호작용 전략을 적용을 한 후 영아의 중심축 행동의 발달이 어떠한지 살펴본 사례연구이다. 연구 참여자는 H재단에서 수탁 운영하는 직장어린이집 5곳의 만1세 영아 5명과 그들의 담임교사 5명이다. 이 연구에서는 교사-영아 상호작용을 녹화한 동영상, 일화기록, 교사의 반성적 저널, 교사와의 심층면담 자료를 통해 연구대상 영아의 중심축 행동 변화를 분석하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면 보육교사의 반응성 상호작용 전략 적용은 영아의 중심축 행동(주의집중, 문제해결, 흥미, 협력, 주도성, 공동주의, 애정)을 긍정적으로 변화시켰다. 이러한 연구결과는 영아를 담당하고 있는 보육교사들이 영아의 중심축 행동 발달을 돕기 위해 반응성 상호작용의 중요성을 인식하고 실천해야 함을 시사한다.

유아 교사의 음악교수 효능감, 음악교육에 대한 태도, 음악교수의 실제에 관한 연구 (Relationships among the Attitude toward Music Education, Music Teaching Practice, and Music Teaching Efficacy of Early Childhood Teachers.)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among early childhood teachers' attitudes toward music education, music teaching practice, and music teaching efficacy. A total of 255 early childhood teachers participated in the study and data were analyzed through frequency, percentile, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and Pearson's correlation. The results of this study indicated that early childhood teachers' music teaching efficacy, attitudes toward music education and music teaching practice were influenced mainly by the teacher's own educational level. They also showed that early childhood teachers' music teaching efficacy, attitudes toward music education, and music teaching practice were correlated with one another. In conclusion, the early child teachers' sense of music teaching efficacy turned out to be a very important factor in early childhood teachers' music education.

발달적으로 적합한 유아교육 실제에 대한 어린이집과 유치원 교사의 신념과 실제 교수 활동 (Early childhood Teachers' Beliefs and Practices Concerning Developmentally Appropriate Practices)

  • The purposes of this study were (a) to ascertain early childhood teachers' beliefs and practices relative to the developmentally appropriate practices, and (b) to determine the relative differences of child care center teachers' beliefs and practices and kindergarten teachers' beliefs and practices. Although interest in obtaining information regarding teachers' beliefs and practices for developmentally appropriate practices in early childhood education is not new, it has commanded considerable attention recently, reflecting concern about growing fragmentation and discontinuity between the early childhood education and care services. A questionnaire measure of 4-and 5-year-old classroom teachers' beliefs and practices based on the guidelines for developmentally appropriate practices of the National Association for the education of Young children, which was consisted of the Teachers' Beliefs Scale(TBS) and the Instructional activities Scale(IAS), was administered to 215 child care center teachers and 215 kindergarten teachers. Positive correlations were found not only between teachers' beliefs and practices but also between developmentally appropriate belief and activities, and between developmentally inappropriate beliefs and activities. There was significant difference between child center and kindergarten teacher groups on the mean scores of each subscale, revealing that kindergarten group had a greater mean score on both TBS and IAS than child care center group. The results of this study implies that there is a great deal of teaching in either child care centers or kindergartens which is not congruent with developmentally appropriate practice. Also, the information obtained with the questionnaire has supported the contention that early childhood education and care services are need to be amalgamated based on the developmentally appropriate practices.
