미래 중등학교의 건축 계획원칙 및 방향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Architectural Planning Principles and Directions of the Secondary School for the Future)

  • This study is on the architectural planning of the secondary school for the future. It focuses on principles and directions of the architectural planning. There are two motivations on the change of education paradigm. The one is that educational philosophy changes and the other is that the knowledge based society has come. Now these affection factors put the education paradigm to be changed. These educational paradigm need to be analyzed from constructivism and educational informationage. Lastly, architectural principles and directions were analogized from educational directions. Architectural principles(6 elements) and directions(15 elements) have been proposed in this study. The conclusion of this study, architectural planning of educational facilities must be with those criteria for more characteristic schools and organic schools.

  • 대부분의 학교에서 운영하고 있는 홈페이지는 대외적으로 교육활동을 홍보하고 대내적으로는 업무의 효율성과 학습자료 탑재를 위해 사용되고 있다. 그러나 각 학교의 특색 있는 교육정보나 자료의 공유는 제대로 이루어지지 않고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 각 학교의 교육 활동 및 특색 사업들을 무선인터넷과 RSS를 이용하여 지역 교육청 홈페이지에서 종합하여 안내할 수 있는 학교 간 유무선 통합커뮤니티 시스템 CUBE를 설계하고 구현하였다. 현재 CUBE는 경남 산청교육청 내 13개 초등학교의 교사들과 학생들이 이 시스템 내에서 정보를 교환하고, 참여할 수 있도록 구축하여 시험운영 중에 있다.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristic of common space of public schools in New York City and how the common space can perform a decisive role in enriching public space not as simply connecting between programs but as common space for a wide range of uses for communities as well as students. This study illustrates with a general design guideline of SCA(School of Construction Authority) and how the rules help the common space as an interactive link between community and site/site and school building/building and outdoor space/outdoor space and lobby in the urban context. Since its founding in New York City, 1958, Mitchell/Giurgola Architects office has dedicated itself to working with institutions and public and private schools for 50 years and has been working with SCA for 10 public schools since 1990. Through five school examples by Mitchell Giurgola architects, the study describes how the office suggests public "place" interweaving inner public space and outer public space through lobbies. A result of this research can be proposed what improvements should be made on common space in domestic schools by analyzing of positive aspects of SCA schools.

자율학교의 현황과 과제 (Current Status and Tasks of Autonomous Schools)

  • 이 연구는 현재 운영 중인 자율학교의 현황을 토대로 과제를 모색하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 연구방법은 문헌연구의 방법을 사용하였다. 그리고 연구내용은 자율학교의 의의와 발전, 자율학교의 유형, 자율학교의 현황과 과제의 영역으로 구분하였다. 자율학교의 의의와 발전에서는 표준화·규격화된 교육에서 소외가 발생함에 따라 학교교육제도를 포함한 교육제도의 개선과 발전을 위해 학교 및 교육과정 운영의 특례가 인정되는 자율학교가 제도적으로 보장되는 과정을 설명하였다. 다음으로 자율학교의 유형에서는 일반형 자율학교와 제주형 자율학교로 구분하여 논의하였다. 일반형은 초·중등교육법에 법적 근거를 두고 있고, 제주형은 제주특별법에 의해 운영이 되며 내용적 사항도 차이가 있어 이들의 특징적인 면을 살펴보았다. 마지막으로 자율학교의 현황과 과제에 대해 논의하였다. 법적 근거와 내용을 달리하는 일반형과 제주형의 특징적인 면을 살펴보고, 그에 따른 과제를 제시하였다. 과제는 자율학교의 수가 많고, 지역별·유형별 편중이 심하며, 교장 자격과 학교운영위원회 등 주로 제도적 측면에 대한 특례의 활용이 많고, 제주의 경우 인력 지원의 원활성이 있는 점으로 제시하였다. 이들 논의 결과 형식적인 자율학교의 운영이 아니라, 내실있는 자율학교의 운영이 요청되었다.

  • 학교들의 특색있는 교육활동이나, 교수 학습자료들이 다른 학교 홈페이지와의 연계기능이 없어 많은 자료들이 묻혀버리고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 유비쿼터스 환경에서 각 학교의 다양한 교육활동들을 효과적으로 홍보하고, 화상통신을 통해 소속되어 있는 학생들 간의 교육적 정보교류와 의사소통기능을 강화시켜 지역교육청의 교육정책수행 및 교육발전에 이바지할 수 있는 적응력있는 화상커뮤니티를 설계하였다. 제안된 시스템을 통해 각 학교간에 이루어지고있는 교육활동을 실시간으로 알 수 있어 교육발전을 도모할 수 있으리라 기대한다.

  • The aim of this study is to investigate present situation about occurrence of surplus classrooms by the merger and abolition of rural elementary schools, and to deduce basic architectural data for efficient utilization. It was examined based on the analysis of using pattern and interview of teachers of modernized elementary model schools. The occurrence ratio of surplus classrooms was about 30 to 60 percentages among seven investigated schools, the ratio was gradually increasing. Most of them were nearly leaving without certain practical use because of inaccessibility and low degree of diversion. The characteristic about diversion of surplus classroom was shown to change from special or learning room to living-related room and management-related room in order, finally, it was used a room for child care with a lapse of time. Long-tenn and continuous data accumulation for diversion and utilization of surplus classroom should be required.

대안교육 지역특성화학교의 시설 및 이용현황 조사연구 (A Study on the Architectural Facilities Utilization of Regional Specialized Schools for Alternative Education)

  • Ministry of Education and Human Resources presented on December, 2006, 'Alternative school establishment and operation regulation' of contents that can be recognized attainments in scholarship because is authorized if alternative schools fulfill fixed condition. Even though, one time, it was true that several opinions which try to limit to adaptation school of person disqualified for school, thus, various discussion and efforts that specialized school for alternative education does to grow are appearing. However, the expectation which a lot of non authorized schools will apply is not so high because specialized school for alternative education will be controlled in free curriculum and school operation that have been administered and can not be guaranteed school's sell-regulation if acquire legal authorization. Under such social and educational background I surveyed present condition, law, system, literature investigation of existing study, Japanese system and example and authorized two sample specification schools etc. through 'A Basic Study on the Optimum Facilities Criteria Modeling of Regional Specialized Schools for Alternative Education(2006. 10)'. This study was preceded the succession and I visited 17 schools that permit investigation opening of schools among 29 that is authorized until present. So I try to find out architectural planning criteria to activate specialized school for alternative education more through analyzing school's general present condition, establishment idea, operation and specialized education plan, facilities present condition and characteristic.

학생들의 과학긍정경험에 영향을 주는 과학교육 선도학교 특성에 대한 질적 탐구 (Qualitative Inquiry of Features of Science Education Leading Schools on Students' Positive Experiences about Science)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the influences of science leading schools on primary and middle school students' positive experiences about science (PES) through in-depth interviews with teachers in charge of science leading schools. Science leading schools at the primary and middle school level such as Creative Convergent Science Labs and Student Participatory Science Classes were investigated and 11 teachers were participated in focus group interviews. Teacher in-depth interviews were conducted to explore the factors that led to the effectiveness of science leading schools in improving the student's PES in light of operational characteristics of science leading schools, characteristic factors of science leading schools on students PES, and improvement plans and requirements of science leading schools, as well as implications for general high schools. Science leading schools including Creative Convergent Science Labs and Student Participatory Science Classes applied for the leading school funding to secure supplies, equipments, and lab improvement for authentic science classes. In addition, reconstructed the curriculum more broadly than before, and emphasized and expanded student participatory classes and process-centered assessment at the teacher learning community level. Through student-participatory classes, the science leading schools stimulate students' interest in science, provide students with PES) through various instructions including projects, engage students in interesting science experiences in Creative Convergent Science Labs, and enhance inquiry skills and PES as well as science content knowledge. Based on the results, ways to spread the characteristics of science leading schools to general schools are suggested including expanding budget support, securing the space of science labs and improving spatial composition, providing diverse teaching and learning materials, diversifying assessment subjects and methods, and the necessity of teachers' continuous professional development, etc.

농촌지역 고등학교의 운영방식 변화와 공간 재구성의 특징 연구 (A Study on the Characteristic of Space Recomposition and the Change of Operation Method of high schools in the Rural Area)

  • This study is to clarify the actual condition of the plan of high schools in the rural area. Recently, many high schools are remodeling the buildings and facilities based on departmental system. This study, through analyzing on 5 remodeling cases of high school in gyeongnam area. This article discuses about the basic characteristics of the plan composition and the education program of 5 high schools. This study is showing the variation before and after remodeling and space organization types. The results of this study are summarized as follows; We studied 5 high schools in 2012~2013 of them, which located in the rural area. We studied the location of department classrooms, teachers' labs and home bases of them. 1) Most of them take horizontal zoning system in the department classrooms. 2) The number of teachers' labs were increased in most of floors. On the other hand, most of Labs' area were decreased. Every department classroom zone has one teachers' lab. 3) Sample schools took much more spaces of home-base and media-space than before.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the Characteristic of Block Plans related to site types of Elementary Schools in Kangju city. With analysis of 17 elementary school plans, we reached same conclusions. First, there is a possibility of seeing 4 examples that contiguity road condition and proportion of site, neighborhood park location, district units planning, which as classification the condition to feature of location. But the condition which is considered actually from Block Plan appeared with only contiguity road condition and district units planning two onlines. Second, despite there are elements having the possibility effecting to Block Plan, some arrangement forms are repeatedly used. There is a possibility of searching for that cause that it falls in mannerism of space form, type and place when it follows the arrangement form of existing defined as school.
