  • A stabilizing system of EOTS is constructed. This system has two major parts. One of them is for detecting the moving motion of a vehicle with electronic gyroscope. The other is for driving of two axes of the platform where the sensor is attached. The controller used in this paper is DSP(TMS320c31) and two BLDC DD motor are used.

  • 고온 초전도체를 이용한 에너지 저장장치는 종래의 저온 초전도체를 이용한 장치에 비해 효율이 높고, 설치 면적이 작으며, 환경 친화적 특성을 갖고 있다. 또한 냉각비용이 저렴하고 저장되는 에너지 밀도가 높다. 고온초전도 선의 성능향상이 가속화됨에 따라 고온초전도 선을 이용한 초전도 전력기기의 개발이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 하지만 초전도 선이 구리선에 비하여 고가라는 단점이 여전히 문제가 되고 있다. 가격적인 측면에서 선의 사용량을 줄이기 위한 대책이 필요하다. 또한 코일의 손실해석은 전력기기의 경제성 여부와 성능향상을 위해 수행되어야 할 중요한 연구 분야 중 하나이다. 본 논문에서는 초전도 선으로 권선한 코일의 자장분포 및 인덕턴스를 유한요소법(FEM)해석을 통해 확인하였으며, 솔레이드 코일, 팬케이크 코일, 트로이달 코일의 저장용량을 결정하기 위해 비교를 통하여 최적의 형상을 도출하였다.

  • Wave power generation as an environmentally -friendly energy has received the attention. In this paper, therefore, the tubular type Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Generator (PMLSG) is proposed for wave power generation. The characteristics of tubular type PMLSG are investigated by analysis using a Finite Element Analysis (FEA). Moreover, the operating performance of generator under no-load and load with variable resistance is examined. And Taguchi method is applied for considering tolerance in manufacture. The results of FEA show that proposed tubular type PMLSG is a useful solution for small-scale wave power generation.

  • This paper deals with a study on characteristic of inductance on spoke type motor. The rotor and stator is redesigned as rounding teeth of stator and pole surface of rotor. Result, a shape of air-gap is changed and the cogging torque is reduced greatly. In consequence, the inductance of spoke type motor is changed. The Finite Element Analysis(FEM) is used to characteristics.

  • Thyristor-controlled series capacitor (TCSC) is a power electronic-based device that provides a fast and controllable series compensation of transmission line reactance. To match with laboratory facilities and for further research initiatives, a practical laboratory scale TCSC was designed and fabricated in this paper. The TCSC parameters were designed based on the terminologies such as percentage of compensation, boost factor and resonance factor. According to the design parameters, a prototype laboratory scale TCSC with a constant reactance controller was fabricated and tested. The measured results from the laboratory scale TCSC demonstrate the ability of the TCSC to provide rapid control of series reactance of a transmission line.

  • This paper is presents dynamic analysis of slotless PM linear synchronous motor using 3-D analytical method and improvement of controllability using PI control system. In oredr to calculate dynamic characteristic, back-EMF waveform and inductance are caculated by PM's magnetic field and winding's magnetic filed respectively. PMLSM simulated by PI control system.

  • Multi-tasking machines are widely used in machine tool industries nowadays. This study focuses on the effect of load on the structure stabilities of laser multi-tasking machine which is comprehensively combined turning center and laser machine. For design of the machine, simulation of structural analysis is carried out varying number of elements. The analysis is carried out by FEM simulation using the commercial software, CATIA V5. This method showed a proper number of elements can be selected to obtain good result by reduced computation time.

  • As seafood processing by-products, enormous seafood processing waste waters (SPWWs) are produced at most seafood processing plants, but management of these waste waters are becoming great burden at small capacity processing plant.
