MRC를 이용한 비례압력제어밸브의 강인한 제어에 관한 연구 (Study on Robust Control for Proportional Pressure Control Valve with MRC)

  • The proportional pressure control valve that was used to relief valve has different dynamic characteristics on each case. Because this valve has different assembling or processing error and environmental condition. However, a customer who used the relief valve wants to have a steadily performance even if the dynamic characteristics of valve was changed. For this reason, the manufacturer try to make the robust controller that has simple structure. This paper concerns about the design of robust controller that didn't affected by plant parameter's changing. The control strategy is a model reference control that conducted by on line identification problem, gradient method and Lyapunov equation. This adaptvie control law's validity that this paper deal with was confirmed by an results of step response test or hysteresis test.

다양한 경계 형상에 따른 구조-음향 연성계의 음향특성 (The Effects of the Boundary Shapes on the Structural-acoustic Coupled System)

  • If a wall separates the bounded and unbounded spaces, then the wall's role in transporting the acoustic characteristics of the two spaces is not well defined. In this paper, we attempted to see how the acoustic characteristical of two spaces are really affected by the spatial characteristics of the wall. In order to understand coupling mechanism, we choose a finite space and a semi-infinite space separated by the flexible or rigid wall and an opening. A volume interaction can be occurred in structure boundary and a pressure interaction can be happened in the opening boundary. For its simplicity, without loosing generality, we use rather simplified rectangle model instead of generally shaped model. The source impedance is presented to the various types of boundaries. The distributions of pressure and active intensity are also presented at the cavity and structure-dominated modes. The resulting modification, shifts of mode1 frequencies and changing of standing wave patterns to satisfy both coupled boundary conditions and governing equations, are presented.

Lift/Drag Prediction of 3-Dimensional WIG Moving Above Free Surface

  • The aerodynamic effects of a 3-dimensional Wing in Ground Effect (WIG) which moves above the free surface has been numerically investigated via finite difference techniques. The air flow field around a WIG is analyzed by a Marker & Cell (MAC) based method, and the interactions between WIG and the free surface are studied by the pressure distributions on the free surface. Waves are generated by the surface pressure distribution, and a Navier-Stokes solver has been employed, to include the nonlinearities in the free surface conditions. The pressure values Cp and lift/drag ratio are reviewed by changing the height/chord ratio. In the present computations a NACA0012 airfoil with a span/chord ratio of 3.0 are treated. Through computational results, it is confirmed that the free surface can be treated as a rigid wavy wall.

  • The emission in the exhaust gas from diesel engine is effected by the fuel spray characteristics. The spray of D.I. diesel engine impinges on a piston cavity and a cylinder wall. It is very important to know exactly the distribution and behavior of the spray inside cylinder. The objective of this study is to develop more accurate evaporation model. The EPISO code was used to analyze the flow characteristics in the engine. The Wakil model and the Faeth model are applied to the EPISO code to analyze the behavior of impinging spray. And also experimental and numerical analysis were carried out. The spray behavior characteristics were investigated by changing injection pressure, ambient pressure and temperature. The behavior of impinging spray was strongly effected by the change of ambient pressure and temperature. The effects of evaporation and rebounding droplet should be considered.

Vane-type Static Mixer에 의한 디젤차량 배기관 내의 유동 특성에 관한 연구 (Numerical Study on the Flow Characteristics with a Vane-type Static Mixer in the Diesel Exhaust Systems)

  • In this work the mixing and flow characteristics of a vane-type static mixer were investigated numerically for the reduction of NOx in the SCR-system of the diesel engines. The mixer was located in the 57 times pipe diameter away from the inlet. The analysis were performed by changing such various parameters as vane shape, angles, blockage ratio and location of the vane. The flow structure through the mixer was characterized by uniformity index and pressure drop. The results show that uniformity index and pressure coefficient are substantially influenced by the vane shape, angle, blockage ratio and position of the vane of the mixer.

항공기용 연료계통 압력조절밸브의 FMEA를 적용한 신뢰성 설계 (Reliability Design Using FMEA for Pressure Control Regulator of Aircraft Fuel System)

  • The reliability assessment is performed for Pressure Control Regulator of Aircraft Fuel System using reliability procedure which consists of the reliability analysis and the Failure Modes and Effects Analysis(FMEA). The target reliability as MTBF(Mean Time Between Failure) is set to 5000hr. During the reliability analysis process, the system is categorized by Work Breakdown Structure(WBS) up to level 3, and a reliability structure is defined by schematics of the system. Since the components and parts that have been collected through EPRD/NPRD. The predicted reliability to meet mission requirements and operating conditions is estimated as 4375.9hr. To accomplish the target reliability, the components and parts with high RPN have been identified and changed by analyzing the potential failure modes and effects. By changing the configuration design of components and parts with high-risk, the design is satisfied target reliability.

  • Recently, the micro on-off valves have been focused on core technology in the fields of the production line of semi-conductor chips and the micro fluid chips for bio-medical applications. A key characteristics for micro valve, operated by compressed air, are high speed response and great repeatability. Indeed, it is also important to keep the pressure on the cross-sectional area of the poppet to be constant regardless of the fluctuation of the pressure exerted on the ports. In this study, we have designed and analysed the high-speed and high flow rate micro on-off valve using the analogy of equivalent magnetic circuit and Finite Element Method(FEM) respectively. In case of poppet, flow field characteristic was analyzed by the variation of poppet and it was able to display flow field by changing the location of the poppet. Also, we verified possibility of the design through the static and dynamic pressure and the 3D distribution curve of the force by working the front poppet.

진동수주형 파력발전기의 에너지 흡수효율 해석 (Numerical Analysis on Wave Energy Absorption of OWC-type Wave Power Generation)

  • A numerical analysis is made to investigate the wave absorption efficiency of a OWC-type wave power generator. Energy absorption by an OWC(Oscillating Water Column) air-chamber is computed in regular waves, taking account of the oscillating surface-pressure, due to pressure drop, across the duct of the air chamber. The problem is formulated in the scope of potential theory and solved by the Localized Finite Element Method(LFEM), based on the classical variational principle. The efficiency of energy absorption is investigated by. changing wave conditions, sea-bottom slope and pressure drop coefficient.

  • Foame concrete was used to reduce insulation problems and interlayer noise in slab. There have been no studies on the physical properties of foaming agents using foamed concrete,Only the physical properties of foamed concrete mixed with foam agent. It is judged that the density and distribution of Foams will be changed when the pressre is changed when the bubble is formed. In this study to investigate the changes of Foam density and the physical performance of foamed concrete by changing the pressure during Foam formation.

  • In this study, dome port bringing up for discussion where the ramjet occurs in flying it presents the tendency of distribution of thermal contour due to temperature and pressure. It is assumed that the material of ramjet is steel for the ease of result analysis. It applied matrial property which it follows by temperature and input boundary condition that changing temperature and pressure on each region by time difference for transient analysis. Thermal analysis region is decided until dome port part is separated and operate analysis in 0.5 second. Finally we draw tendency of thermal contour in ramjet dome port part by temperature and pressure.
