The purpose of this study is to analyse the realities of fundraising and distribution of the local community chest in Korea. Until now little empirical study has been conducted concerning the culture of giving. Using the sample of 900 citizens selected from 7 cities and another sample of 230 from policy-making group in 16 local community chest, this study analysed empirical1y how the capacity, motivation and opportunity of the prospective donors are related to giving and the current issues of fundraising and distribution. According to the results of analysis, the level of motivation in giving culture is very low. Also it was found that religious beliefs is the most important motivating factor in giving. Participation in volunteer activities is another important factor to influencing giving. Some effective fundraising strategies are suggested including strengthening the motivation of prospective donors, workplace donation and joint-fundraising with religious organization or other foundation, coordinating fundraising activities between the community chest and other social welfare agencies. Program-oriented distribution and change of some distribution standards are stressed as an effective distribution strategy.
The purpose of this study was to examine the factors that influenced level of housewives family leisure participation and their life satisfaction. So, this study analysed the effects of motivations, resources, and perceived adquacy of resources on family leisure activities and life satisfaction of housewives. Data for 389 housewives residing in Daegu were selected from using questionnaire. The major findings were : 1. Motivations for family leisure activities were classified in change-oriented, family-oriented, relaxational, and imitational types. 2. The participation level of family leisure activity showed significant differences by motivation for family leisure, resources for family leisure, and perceived adequacy of resources. 3. The level of life satisfaction showed significant differences by motivation for leisure, resources for leisure, and perceived adequacy of resources. And the variables which affected the level of life satisfaction independently were family-oriented motivation for leisure, space for leisure, perceived adequacy of burgets and space for leisure.

The extended science investigations, comprehensive investigations contrasted with exercises of process skill components and cookbook style experiments, should be pursued for giving opportunity of more authentic science activity. The characteristics of the extended investigation tasks were emerged from critical argument on school practical work. And one of important educational objectives in students' investigations is to achieve motivation for investigation. The purpose of this study is to explore how the characteristics of the extended investigation tasks, that is practical context, openness and continuity, affect middle school students' motivation for investigation. On the basis of questionnaire results and students' school science achievement, ten students were interviewed to see the change of motivation for investigation and its causes while they perform two textbook investigations and four extended investigation tasks. Among the interviewees, the students who showed positive motivation for the extended investigations were critical about textbook experiments as they are just confirmations of theories and perceived practical context and openness as the main causes of their positive motivation. The students who showed negative motivation for extended investigations preferred textbook experiments as there was enough guidance from teacher and textbook-centered learning. They recognized the openness of the tasks as a main reason of their negative motivation for investigation. Some students showed negative responses about continuity of the extended investigation tasks but continuity was not recognized as a main cause for their motivation for investigation.
As a result, the interaction between personal motivation and class type is not significant. On the other hand, the interaction between social motivation and class type is significant and overall online class increases engagement with educational issues. In particular, the group with low social motivation showed greater change than the group with high social motivation, so online education seems to be more effective in the group with low social motivation. It means that by stimulating students' social motivation rather than personal motivation, the effectiveness of online education can be enhanced, and it can lead to education outcomes - behavioral changes and attitudes of learners. In order to revitalize social motivation in the intensely personal space of online, it is necessary to activate social communication methods such as SNS, and development of interpersonal issues and learning materials would be more efficient. In order to derive more specific results, it is necessary to measure the level of prior knowledge and involvement of the participants in class, and to comprehensively investigate and analyze the state of learners before and after class through more variables. Finally, in order to increase the reliability of the research results, it is necessary to clearly prove it through the establishment of a structural model.

The relocation policy of public Institutions throughout provincial areas that implemented for the purpose of "balanced national development" finished in 2019 with the last relocation of the Korea Institute of Science & Technology Evaluation and Planning, which moved to Chungbuk Innovation City. Electric power public corporations also completed relocation program over eight regions across the nation. This study was conducted empirically to identify the structural relationship between the public service motivation and job attitude. In this, the relationship of organizational change, particularly occurred by the regional relocation, with the psychological state of these organization members (experienced direct changes and got substantial impacts in various aspects such as psychological, economic and living environment, etc.,) was studied. This study aims to seek early organizational stabilization ideas for electric power public corporations after relocation, and to present some implications that can contribute to the secondary relocation of public institutions to local areas. This study shows the statistically significant relationship between the psychological state occurred by relocation and organizational commitment. The result shows that the higher the expectation levels, the higher the degree of organizational commitment, while anxious psychological state has no relation with that. Additionally, expectation level has no significant functional relation with turnover intention. Followings are the major conclusions revealed in this study; The stronger the anxious psychological state, the higher the turnover inducement goes up. The higher the expectation levels, the higher the public service motivation grows, and the higher the anxiety psychological state, the public service motivation lowers. The organizational commitment grows according to the public service motivation proportionally, but the turnover inducement intention is weak. The moderating effect of public service motivation between the expectation of organizational change and turnover intention was not significant, but it was analyzed that the moderating effect of public service motivation formed a significant relationship with other anxiety psychology. The expectation levels of employees of electric power public corporations has grown up after moving to provincial areas. Relationship between the expectation mind and the turnover inducement has decreased after local relocation.

BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Existing evidence on lifestyle modification programs for weight loss is limited by the high attrition rate of such programs. Identifying predictors of adherence to a lifestyle modification program could result in program improvement. However, little is known about behavior-specific adherence and its psychological predictors. This study aimed to examine the psychological predictors of adherence after one-month participation in a community-based lifestyle modification program among Chinese overweight and obese adults in Hong Kong. SUBJECTS/METHODS: A total of 205 Chinese overweight and obese adults aged $38.9{\pm}10.5years$ completed the study. Data were collected at baseline and after one month using self-reported questionnaires, which assessed knowledge (self-developed scale), motivation (Treatment Self-Regulation Questionnaire), stage of change (Stage of Exercise Scale) and self-efficacy (Self-Rated Abilities for Health Practices Scale). At one month, a 4-day dietary recall and the International Physical Activity Questionnaire-Short Form were used to assess dietary and physical activity (PA) adherence. Food and PA diaries were examined to indicate self-monitoring. Program attendance was tracked between baseline and one-month follow-up. RESULTS: After one month, participants reported high dietary adherence, attendance, and adherence to self-monitoring but low PA adherence. Multiple regression analyses suggested that diet self-efficacy (baseline) and nutrition knowledge (one-month change) were independent predictors of dietary adherence score at one month, whereas autonomous PA motivation (baseline) and PA self-efficacy (both baseline and one-month change) were independent predictors of PA adherence score at one month. No significant psychological predictor was identified for attendance or self-monitoring. CONCLUSIONS: The results suggest that the effect of psychological factors on adherence differs between diet and PA adherence outcomes. To promote adherence, practitioners should assess self-efficacy, knowledge, and motivation at the beginning of a weight-loss program and explore behavior-specific strategies to improve knowledge and self-efficacy. The results of this study have direct implications for program improvements.

Today, it is not difficult to use information technology (IT), especially, Internet based ones. Many people can not only access IT without learning how to use it but also find and develop new techniques and usages which couldn't be expected by system engineers or designers. This is owing to social interactions among users as well as advancement of IT. Theoretically, such social interactions in using IT can be well explained by adaptive structuration theory (AST) which has been considered as one of trying to capture the change of using IT due to social interactions between users and system. This study is to analyze the relationship between social interactions and motivation in using IT which can determine attitude and intention of using IT. For this purpose we provide a research model, in which two AST related variables, faithfulness of appropriation and consensus on appropriation, are independent variables and three beliefs for using IT, usefulness, ease of use and playfulness, are dependent ones. Additionally, for reflection of changing uses, usefulness is formed as second order factor by two first order factors-usefulness of self-expression and communication. An empirical test of our model for blog users which is analyzed by Partial Least Square method shows supporting most of hypotheses except one, consensus-ease of use.
Purpose The purpose of this study is to grasp the factors influencing domestic SNS users' privacy protection behavior and verify their relationship through self-efficacy and responsiveness. Thus, this study tries to suggest efficient and effective measures for SNS personal information protection. Design/methodology/approach To this end, with main variables of the protection motivation theory based on the assumption that when users are exposed to the threat to their health, they would have protection motivation and change their behavior of protecting their health, a research model was suggested. In addition, in order to empirically verify the research model, a survey was performed targeting general college students having the experience of using SNS. Findings As a result of the analysis, first, perceived effectiveness and self-efficacy had a positive effect on responsiveness. Second, perceived barrier had a positive effect on self-efficacy. Third, self-efficacy and responsiveness had a positive effect on privacy protection behavior. This study is expected to contribute to establishing an effective guideline for measures that could induce SNS users' privacy protection behavior.
In today's rapidly changing environment, companies need to have proper strategies in place to meet the challenges that constant change presents. As such, most companies in e-business should focus on developing creativity across the board. Employees' creativity has become a critical factor in e-business. This paper explains how to increase workers' creativity through authentic leadership and psychological empowerment. As it is not machines or computers, but people, that are ultimately still responsible for creating novel outcomes, this study emphasizes the overriding importance of members' ability and leader's roles, which greatly influence followers' levels of motivation. Authentic leadership encourages members to reach and display their potential, and enhances their intrinsic motivation. Moreover, members' psychological empowerment is directly associated with both intrinsic motivation and autonomy, preconditions for creativity. Hence, these two dimensions- leadership and an individual's psychological state- will increase workers' creativity, which works to increase performance and create more opportunities not only at the individual level, but also at the team or organization level. The purpose of this paper is to explain the effects of authentic leadership on creativity and the moderating effects of psychological empowerment between authentic leadership and creativity in the e-business environment.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the similarities and differences between motivation and usage according to morphological differences between Facebook and Instagram. The formative differentiation of third-generation SNS such as intuitive image and limited network poses the necessity of recognizing individual service users as distinct groups in SNS research. Therefore, this study was conducted to analyze the differences of motivation and usage, according to the motivation of using Facebook and Instagram by 255 university students. As a result, 7 factors were found as motivation for SNS use, and there were therein motivational differences between Facebook and Instagram users. This study is expected to contribute to the prediction of user's attitude change according to the morphological evolution of SNS in the future, and to expand the application to such related fusion research as GUI design and corporate PR marketing.
