Recently, the deepening of the environment and accompanying concerns produce various environmental regulations. For example, EPR(Extended Producer Responsibility) is emphasized in many countries such as USA and Europe. According to this, the construction of a reverse supply chain is under compulsion. A diversity of parts can be controlled by a government or enterprises in the construction and management of a reverse supply chain and the effect to the environment is changed according to the policy. Therefore, it is essential to understand the effects of regulations or policies of a government and enterprises on a supply chain. The object of this research is to develop a means to assess the management efficiency and the environmental effect over a whole supply chain and show the effects of various reverse supply chain construction policies on a supply chain. This model can be utilized to establish appropriate policies by understanding the change in the management efficiency and the environmental effect according to the reverse supply chain construction and management method.

Purpose - Value chain in agriculture refers to direct and indirect activities related to value-added process from raw materials to final products in agricultural industries. In recent years, value chain analysis has become more important in the area of agricultural development. This article reviews the concept and importance of value chain analysis in the context of agricultural development and attempts to suggest improvement strategies. Research design, data, methodology - A literature survey was conducted for value chain analysis for agricultural development. The case of agro-value chain in Cambodia was deeply analyzed based upon interviews with government officers and related experts. Results - It seems that agro-value chain in developing countries are not well developed and does not carry out appropriate functions, compared to developed countries. Because value adding facilities, such as storage, processing and packing plants, milling plants, and etc. are not sufficiently constructed, the quality of agricultural products is low. Especially developing countries may loose opportunities to increase value of their product by exporting their agricultural products as raw materials to neighboring countries. Value adding process is also mainly controlled by traders in local markets or wholesale markets in urban areas. Farmers therefore can get lower share of final value of agricultural products compared to the shares paid to traders. Lastly it is argued that governments of developing countries do not play an active role in developing value chains and do not carry out coordinating functions in an effective and efficient manner. Conclusions - The first step to improve agro-value chain in developing countries is to identify and analyze value chain structure of agricultural products and to make development strategies and implementation programs. For improving value chain of agricultural products in developing countries, it is required to provide not only plans for constructing hardwares, such as wholesale markets, storage facilities, processing and packing plants, and etc., but also plans for improving softwares, such as measures for improving product quality and safety, setting up grade and standard, providing market information, and nurturing producer cooperatives.

As the 4th industry is introduced these days, so the demand of various semiconductors is growing in the market. And global semiconductor companies in semiconductor industry are responding to this demand by facilitating innovation. Meanwhile, there has been done many studies regarding supply chain for a long time. And the study of supply chain in semiconductor industry has often been carried out until now. But there were no enough case studies regarding the supply chain of semiconductor company. Therefore, this study carried out a comparative case study for global semiconductor companies' supply chain and compared each companies' supply chain management and strategy. In conclusion, all the companies are executing supply chain management in an aggressive, systematic and organized way, and there were a lot of similarities and a few differences among these companies in supply chain management. Furthermore, each company has a unique way for supply chain strategy. Lastly, this study suggested some messages which are helpful for their supply chain strategy.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how supply chain digital transformation affects corporate performance by building supply chain agility and innovation capabilities based on the resource-based view (RBV) theory. The model was verified using structural equation modeling based on a data set of 271 domestic companies, and mediation and moderation analyzes were performed to test the research hypotheses. The study found a positive correlation between supply chain digital transformation and corporate performance that is fully mediated by both supply chain agility and innovation capability, with the potential for the interaction between supply chain agility and innovation capability to have adverse consequences for corporate performance. This study is expected to advance our understanding on the antecedents of corporate performance by integrating supply chain digital transformation and the mediating mechanisms of supply chain agility and innovation capabilities that serve as a conduit between supply chain digital transformation and RBV-based corporate performance.

Expression in the periplasm of Escherichia coli of cloned heavy and light chain cDNAs for Fab fragment of a murine monoclonal antibody MabB9 (${\gamma}2b$, K), specific for human plasma apolipoprotein B-100 of LDL, was studied. For the purpose, a vector for two-cistronic expression of the heavy chain cDNA, at the 5' terminus, and light chain cDNA, at the 3' terminus, was constructed using the signal sequences, pelB (for heavy chain) and ompA (for light chain) in a pET vector system. The constructed vector was transformed into E. coli BL21(DE3). The expressed heavy chain (25 kDa) and light chain (23 kDa) of the antibody molecule were detected in total cell extracts as well as in the periplasmic extracts of E. coli.

The goal of supply chain integration is to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of supply chain for creating customer values. Supply chain integration can be classified into IT integration and structural integration. Also, structural integration can be collapsed into three dimensions: internal, supplier and customer integration. In this study, we investigate the relevance between customer value and supply chain integration. To explore the current study, we collected from 73 Korean firms. The results are as follows: First, customer value has a positively significant effect on IT integration. Second, customer value influences on customer integration but does not has an effect on internal and supplier integration. Third, IT integration improve internal, supplier and customer integration. Finally, each of structural integration positively influences firm performance. These results indicated that declaration of customer value is important factor in supply chain integration.

In this paper, we show that H(D, E) satisfies the ascending chain condition on principal ideals if and only if h(D, E) satisfies the ascending chain condition on principal ideals, if and only if ${\bigcap}_{n{\geq}1}a_1{\cdots}a_nE=(0)$ for each infinite sequence $(a_n)_{n{\geq}1}$ consisting of nonzero nonunits of We also prove that H(D, I) satisfies the ascending chain condition on principal ideals if and only if h(D, I) satisfies the ascending chain condition on principal ideals, if and only if D satisfies the ascending chain condition on principal ideals.

To identify whether the sequence of observations follows a chain dependent process and whether the chain dependent or repeated observations follow stationary process or not, alternative procedures are suggested in this paper. These test procedures are formulated on the basis of logistic regression model under the likelihood ratio test criterion and applied to the daily rainfall occurrence data of Bangladesh for selected stations. These test procedures indicate that the daily rainfall occurrences follow a chain dependent process, and the different types of transition probabilities and overall transition probabilities of Markov chain for the occurrences of rainfall follow a stationary process in the Mymensingh and Rajshahi areas, and non-stationary process in the Chittagong, Faridpur and Satkhira areas.

This study figures out the objectives of supply chain integration and proposes a conceptual framework for classifying the type of supply chain integration in order to help developing supply chain integration strategy. We figure out the objectives of supply chain integration by structural integration and functional integration and then develop a conceptual framework for classifying the type of supply chain integration by combining the clusters of structural integration factors and functional integration factors. Using the framework, a firm would be able to figure out which type of supply chain it belongs to and develop appropriate supply chain integration strategy.

We studied effects of alkyl($C_nH_{2n+1}$) chain length on characteristics of poly(3-alkylthiophene) electroluminescent diodes. Among the poly(3-alkylthiophene), poly(3-hexylthiophene)(n=6) and poly(3- octyIthiophene)(n=8) were mainly used for the emitting layer of the diode. The result of experiment, the emission intensity of poly(3-alkylthiophene) electroluminescent diodes depends on the alkyl chain length. Strong emission is obtained from a poly(3-alkylthiophene) diodes of long alkyl side chain length. Emission intensities are enhanced by a confinement of carriers on a main chain with a long interchain distance caused by a long alkyl side chain.
