보리 이삭의 소수 위치에 따른 까락과 낟알의 특성 (Characteristics of Awns and Grains on Different Spikelet Positions in Barley)

  • 쌀보리의 이삭에 관한 기초자료를 얻고자 우리나라에서 육성한 쌀보리의 품종을 공시하여 소수위치에 따른 망의 길이와 무게, 입중 등을 조사한 바 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 이삭의 정단부로부터 3∼5번째 소수가 망장 및 망중의 평균치와, 2∼4번째 소수가 입중의 평균치와 각각 일치하였다. 2. 이삭의 기부로부터 3∼4번째 소수의 망이 가장 길고 무거웠으며 5∼6번째 소수의 입중이 가장 무거웠다. 3. 측열 소수는 중앙열 소수에 비하여 망장은 13∼26%, 망중은 26∼41%, 입중은 18∼25% 적은 값을 보였다. nami형 품종은 uzu형 품종에 비하여 중앙열과 측열간 망장, 망중 차이가 적었다. 4. 망중/망장 비로 볼 때 uzu형 품종은 nami형 품종보다, 그리고 중앙열은 측열보다 망이 더 굵었다. 5. 이삭을 3등분하였을 때 망장, 망중은 하부와 중앙부 차이가 없었으나 상부보다는 길고 무거웠다. 입중은 상부가 항상 가벼웠고 중앙부는 하부보다 무겁거나 같았다. 6. 망중이 무거운 소술일수록 입중이 무거웠다.

  • 1978년 7월과 8월에 남해군삼동면형족리 연안의 죽방염에서 채집한 멸치과어류의 비늘의 특이성에 대하여 관찰한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. $4\~5$각형의 원시적인 형태의 둥근비늘이며 그 중심에서 초점이 없다. 2. 구조는 멸치의 경우, 비늘의 가장자리에서 중앙을 향해 불규칙 방사상배열을 하며, 청멸의 경우에는 대부분이 비늘 전분에 횡주구조를 형성한다.

피엔짜 도시 중심지역의 계획에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Plan of Central Area in Pienza Town)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the plan of central area in Pienza town. The nucleus of the plan was the principal square with the surrounding buildings - Cathedral, Piccolomini, Episcopal and Communal palace, focused attention on the first city plan of the Renaissance. The results of study are as follow: 1. The plan of central area in Pienza town is formed by relation with each other, in which theory including the "De re aedificatoria" of Alberti and practical plan of Pienza were united. 2. Though the plan of Pienza is not total city planning for new function and system, it has a many influence for city planning, square type and building disposition, through new project method as a result of prospective at central area in Pienza town 3. The square plan is formed of centripetal role to integrate with harmony the partial units of each other from diverse elements in scale, function, style and type of buildings, in which it can characteristics of the beginning of Renaissance. 4. Not only composition of plan, elevation and section of the Cathedral, Piccolomini and Episcopal palace, but composition of opennings are formed of proportional system of 1:1, 1:${\surd}$2, 1:2 etc.. And such proportional systems is composed of relation with each other in harmony, deciding width, length and height from among part and part, whole and part for spatial and formal composition.

중부형민가와 비교를 통한 제천지역 민가의 평면특성에 관한 조사연구 (A Study on the Characteristic of the Folk Houses' Plans compared with Central Region's ones in Che-chun City)

  • After 18th century in Korea, a tendency of the traditional folk houses shows not only the typical types but also the cultural areas in terms of each regional part. The existing folk houses are selected in order to compare the characteristic of the plans with those of the central region in Korea. Moreover this region has been a collided zone of culture and military from the old period of the Three Kingdoms, because the district of Che-chun is located between the southern part and the central one. So its culture and housing plan showed as unique forms, so-called the Culture of Frontier and Composite. Consequently the purposes of this study are to grasp the characteristic of those plans and to compare the plan types with ones of the central region. For the attainment of the above goal, this investigated study is prosecuted by means of the existing 6-folk houses in Che-chun city.

An improved collapse analysis mechanism for the face stability of shield tunnel in layered soils

  • Based on the results of Han et al. (2016), in the failure zone ahead of the tunnel face it can be obviously identified that a shear failure band occurs in the lower part and a pressure arch happens at the upper part, which was often neglected in analyzing the face stability of shield tunnel. In order to better describe the collapse failure feature of the tunnel face, a new improved failure mechanism is proposed to evaluate the face stability of shield tunnel excavated in layered soils in the framework of limit analysis by using spatial discretization technique and linear interpolation method in this study. The developed failure mechanism is composed of two parts: i) the rotational failure mechanism denoting the shear failure band and ii) a uniformly distributed force denoting the pressure arch effect. Followed by the comparison between the results of critical face pressures provided by the developed model and those by the existing works, which indicates that the new developed failure mechanism provides comparatively reasonable results.

설악산 대청봉의 식생 (Vegetation of Daecheong-bong. Mt. Seolag)

  • A survey was conducted on the vegetation of southern slope of Daecheong-bong, Mt. Seolag, Located at the northern part of Taebaek mountain chain in the Central Korea. The altitudinal zonation of the vegetation was analyzed by distribution pattern of dominant species along thermal gradient, In additiion to these procedure th plant sociological studies by Braun-Blanquet(1964) were carried out. It was recognized that the vegetation is consist of 16 associations including Quercus mongolica-Lindera obtusiloba. association and the forest zone is classified into southern, central and northern part of cool temperate forest and subarctic forest.

中部地方 各地의 大氣汚染潛在力에 관한 硏究 (A Study on the Air Pollution Potential in the Central Part of Korea)

  • Air pollution potentials of the 7 cities in the central part of Korea were obtained with the mean wind speed within the mixed layer and the mixed layer height calculated by the Jump Model. Seasonal variation of the afternoon mixed layer height in Seoul area shows that low in winter and high in summer. Annual mean of the morning air pollution potential was lowest in Incheon and highest in Wonju. On the other hand annual mean of the afternoon air pollution potential was lowest in Incheon and highest in Chuncheon. Relatively low air pollution potential in Incheon can be explained as high mixed layer height and the effect of sea breeze.

치주 질환 예방 및 치료용 소재로서 수종의 생약성분 추출물에 관한 항균, 항염, 항산화 효능 연구 (Anti-microbial, Anti-inflammatory and Anti-oxidative Effects of Herbal Medicine Extracts as Anti-gingivitis Ingredients)

  • 치주질환의 예방 및 치료 효과를 연구하기 위해 수 종의 천연물을 이용하여 P. gingivalis에 대한 항균력과 IL-$1{\alpha}$ 생성 억제율을 평가하여 1차 선별한 후 MMP-1 활성 억제율 평가와 SOD 활성평가를 수행한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. P. gingivalis에 대한 항균력 평가 결과 은행엽, 육두구, 대황, 후박, 구절초, 용아초, 목향, 세신, 산초, 회향 추출물에서 우수한 항균효과가 나타났다. 2. 인터루킨-$1{\alpha}$ (IL-$1{\alpha}$) 생성 억제율 평가 결과 은행엽, 작약, 육두구, 하고초, 후박, 과루, 산약 추출물이 우수한 IL-$1{\alpha}$ 생성 억제율을 나타내었다. 3. 매트릭스 메탈로프로테나제-1(MMP-1)의 활성 억제평가 결과, 육두구, 은행엽 추출물이 우수한 MMP-1 활성 억제율을 나타내었다. 4. 슈퍼록사이드 디스뮤타제 (Superoxide dismutase, SOD) 활성 평가 결과 은행엽, 산약, 육두구 추출물서 우수한 SOD 활성을 나타내었다. 5. 구강용 제품에 적용 시 은행엽 추출물은 우수한 잇몸질환 예방 및 치료 효능을 나타낼 수 있다.

심재, 변재, 형성층 및 사부를 포함한 뽕나무 심부 고온추출물의 항염증 활성 (Anti-Inflammatory Activity of High Temperature Extract from the Central Part Including Heartwood, Sapwood, Cambiun, and Phloem in Morus alba L.)

  • Background: Inflammation plays an important role in various diseases, including ulcerative colitis, Behcet's disease, and rheumatoid arthritis. In this study, we investigated the anti-inflammatory effects of Morus alba L. extracts obtained using different extraction methods (water extraction or high temperature extraction) on RAW264.7 cells. Methods and Results: Extracts from the central part (including the heartwood, sapwood, cambiun, and phloem) and bark (including the periderm and cortex) of Morus alba L. were obtained using either water or high temperature extraction. The following extract were obtained: MA1, water extract from the central part of Morus alba L., MA2, high temperature extract from the central part of Morus alba L., MA3, water extract from the bark of Morus alba L., and MA4, high temperature extract from the bark of Morus alba L. None of these extracts was observed to be cytotoxic to RAW264.7 cells. The MA2 extract reduced the production of LPS-induced NO (nitric oxide), $PGE_2$ (prostaglandin $E_2$), $TNF-{\alpha}$, IL-6, and $IL-1{\beta}$ production in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells. Conclusions: These results indicated that the inflammatory response was moderated by MA2. Treatment with MA2 could be used as a natural medicine for treating diseases involving inflammation. However, further experiments are required to determine how the high temperature extraction method alters the active ingredients in the extract and influences the anti-inflammatory effects of Morus alba L..

IEC 61970 기반의 EMS 데이터베이스 구축에 관한 연구 (A study on an implementation of IEC 61970 based EMS database)

  • 전력계통 에너지관리시스템(EMS)을 위한 공통 정보모델(CIM:Common Information Model)은 1990년대 후반에 EPRI의 CCAPI (Control Center Application Program Interface) 연구 프로젝트에서 시작하여, 현재는 IEC의 국제표준인 IEC 61970시리즈로 등록되어 있다. 특히, CIM은 IEC61970의 Part 301, 302에 정의되어 있는 공통데이터 모델을 지칭하며, IEC61970의 Part 401${\sim}$407에 정의되어 있는 CIS (Component Interface Specification)와 더불어 EMS의 API(Application Program Interface)를 정의하는 핵심 요소이다. CIM (Common Information Model)은 전격회사의 전력 시스템 운영을 포함하여 전력회사 전반에 사용되는 주요한 객체(object)들을 나타내는 추상적 모델(abstract model)이다. 또한, CIM은 전력계통 자원을 객체 클래스들(object classes)과 속성들(attributes)로 표현하는 표준 방법을 제공함으로써, 발전분야나 배전분야와 같이 전력 계통의 운용 영역이 다른 계통들과 EMS 시스템 연계, 독립적으로 개발된 전체 EMS 시스템간의 연계, 서로 다른 판매자에 의해서 독립적으로 개발된 EMS 응용 프로그램간의 통합을 용이하게 한다. 본 논문에서는 전력계통 공통 데이터 모델인 IEC 61970을 소개하고, 이에 기반을 둔 한국형 EMS 데이터베스 구축에 관해 설명한다.
