This study investigated firstly the cellular phone addiction tendency according to the classification of addiction, dependency, non-addiction and predicting factors of cellular phone use and secondly the psycho-social characteristics of cellular phone use by adolescent'. Participants were 368 students of academic and occupational high schools in Seoul. A prediction model of cellular phone addiction tendency was developed and show떠 that there were significant effects of cellular phone use-time, use-motives, counseling experience, impulsiveness, and depression on cellular phone addiction.

The aim of this study was to identify the differences in cellular phone dependency and its use levels of usage purposes according to children's gender, and also to analyze the differences in individual and interpersonal relations development due to cellular phone dependency in children based on gender. Using the first year data of the Korean Child and Youth Panel Survey(KCYPS) 2010, this study analyzed 1,604 fourth graders who have their own cellular phones. For statistical analysis, descriptive statistics were calculated and mean difference analyses were conducted. The results showed that there was no difference between boys and girls in cellular phone dependency. The girls' total phone use level was higher than that of boys and meaningful gender differences in the phone use levels were found in the five phone usage purposes. In both boys and girls, the higher phone dependency groups demonstrated higher levels of phone use in more than eight usage purposes, lower self-resilience and self-regulating learning ability, and less positive peer and teacher relations. These findings show the importance of being concerned about and educating children in the fourth grade about the proper uses of cellular phones.

In Korea, the car mobile phone service had started in 1961 and with this Korea Mobile Telecommunications Services was established in 1984. Its service was mainly focused on the mobile phone service for the car which led the popularity of the full-scale mobile phone service. There are many kinds of materials, colors and patterns which are the elements of surface coating techniques. In light of that, we are focused on the UV coating that is ranked as an important part of the techniques in this study. In the first, the use of various materials for the cellular phone and surface processing techniques for the cellular phone were searched. On the basis of the results, the experiments of actual consumer experience with the exfoliation of the surface were done and through that we proposed the best way of processing the surface for the cellular phone and the materials. The result of the Wear Test showed that thick coating was detached more slowly and each company differed in their results with UV paints despite the same thickness of UV coating. The seal (UV) exfoliation of cellular phone is deeply related with the film thickness and the film formation when the users use the cellular phones and the exfoliation of the cellular phone surface will be decreased if the manufacturers meet the best conditions for the cellular phone.

Objective ： We investigated the characteristics of cellular phone use and its association with psychological problems among adolescents. Methods ： A total of 332 adolescent students were recruited for this study. The participants' self-reported characteristics of cellular phone use and the psychological problems caused by this were tested by using the Excessive Cellular Phone Use Survey (ECPUS), the Children's Depression Inventory (CDI), Spielberger's State-Trait Anxiety Inventory for Children (STAIC) and the Korea-Youth Self Report (K-YSR). Results ： The excessive user group made more use of text messages and they spent more time and paid higher fees than the comparison group. They expressed severer depression and anxiety and they had more behavior problems and lower school performance than the comparison group. The ECPUS score was positively correlated with score of the CDI, STAIC and the behavior problem scales of the K-YSR, and the ECPUS score was negatively correlated with the school performance scale of the K-YSR. Conclusion ： Our findings suggest that excessive cellular phone use by adolescents may be related to psychological problems. Careful education about the use of cellular phones and intervention are recommended for adolescents who excessively use cellular phones.

Purpose: This study was conducted to describe the state of middle school students' addicted use of a cellular phone and their psychosocial characteristics and to examine differences in psychosocial factors as impulsivity, stress, anxiety and classroom attitudes according to the level of addiction. Method: As the subjects of this study, 747 middle school students who use a cellular phone in B Metropolitan City were selected through stratified random sampling, and they were asked to answer a self-administered study questionnaire. Data were analyzed using frequency, descriptive statistics, $x^2-test$, t-test, and one-way ANOVA. Results Among the respondents, 15.7% fell into the addicted user group while 56.0% fell into the dependent user group and 28.3% turned out to be non-addicted users. The levels of impulsivity, stress and anxiety were higher in the addicted user group than in the dependent user group and the non-addicted user group. The addicted user group also showed a very bad learning attitude. Conclusion: Addiction to the use of a cellular phone, which may have negative influences on the users' psychosocial characteristics, needs to be detected earlier, and preventive education should be offered in order to prevent such addiction.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate influence of cellular phone videos and games on dry eye syndrome in university students. Methods: A randomized comparison group pre-post design is used. Sixty university students were randomly assigned to either a video or a game group. Frequencies of blinking, dry eye symptoms scores and amounts of tears were measured. Thirty subjects watched cellular phone video programmes and the other 30 subjects played cellular phone games for 61 minutes. In addition, frequencies of blinking were measured three times during treatment, once immediately after a treatment and twice at an interval of 20 minutes after subsequent treatments. Results: Post-test scores of frequencies of blinking significantly decreased, dry eye symptoms scores including amounts of tears significantly increased greater than pre-test scores in both groups. But there were no significant differences between the groups. Frequencies of blinking were significantly different with respect to the time spent using cellular phone. In both groups, the lowest frequencies of blinking were shown after 40 minutes of cellular phone use. Conclusion: This study shows that using cellular phone has negative influence on dry eye syndrome and eyes require a resting period after cellular phone use over 40 minutes.

The present study focused on the status of functional use and demands for cellular phone in the aged. Through a survey of 206 aged people, we asked the present use of UI(User Interface) and problems in use of functions of cellular phone. The survey consist of questions about use of internet and mobil products, receptiveness of various mobil contents and machines, and marketable evaluation. The results showed that great part of elder people used only cellular phone as telephone. However, it appeared that relatively younger people in the participants In survey used more and more various functions of cellular phone such as digital camera. Moreover, according to the situations of health, economy, culture of participants, they demanded more various functions and UI in cellular phone.

This study examined factors related to the motivation for the uses of cellular phones and the relationship between motivation for cellular phone use and parent-child communication among middle school students. A total of 223 questionnaires were submitted and analyzed. The characteristics of motive structure of the middle school students were found as recreation, time management, information-seeking, reassurance and fashion/showing off. Among those motivations, these middle school students examined here were found to use cellular phones in similar ways to how conventional telephone is used such as work/instrumental reasons and socializing/entertaining. The motivations showed a significant association with the level of parent-child communication. Information-seeking and time management motivation were positively related with an open communication level while fashion/showing off and recreation were negatively related with an open communication level.

Use a radio waves interception envelope and radio waves interception device for a movement which a security does integrity of criminal on-site cellular phone confiscation search data by standard procedures, and was devoted to. Analyze corroborative facts of a cellular phone seized, and verify integrity, and present problems regarding cellular phone confiscation search procedures and measures, and will contribute in development of Mobile Forensic through integrity damage experiment.
