정보검색의 성공여부는 적절한 검색어의 선정에 달려있다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 특히 CD-ROM이나 온라인목록시스템에서 주제검색시 분류표, 주제명과 같은 통제어와 자연어 등 비통제어의 비교 우위 문제는 아직도 논란이 되고 있다. 본고는 두 시스템의 검색효율성을 비교하기 위하여 특히 다언어 환경하에서의 검색어 사용에 중점을 두고 다양한 형태의 검색어휘를 조사 분석하였다.

전자거래가 보편화 되고 전자카탈로그 데이터의 양이 증가하면서 데이터 품질을 관리할 수 있는 체계적인 접근 방법이 필요해지고 있다. 이러한 필요성에 따라 여기서는 프로세스 기반의 전자카탈로그 데이터 품질관리 프레임워크를 제시한다. 이것은 기업이나 조직 의 전자카탈로그 시스템의 기대를 만족시키기 위해 지속적으로 수행하는 데이터 관리 및 개선 활동에 대한 방법이다. 이 프레임워크에서는 품질관리를 위한 대상이 데이터, 데이터 품질관리 항목, 데이터 품질관리 프로세스의 세 가지로 구분된다. 세 가지 관리 대상은 다시 관리조직의 레벨인 총괄데이터 책임자, 데이터 관리자, 사용자에 따라 세분화 되어 제시된다.

With rapid growth of internet technology, companies have developed an information system such as the electronic catalog for product data in the E-Business. Due to the heuristic nature of the catalog search for proper tools in the specific process, the intelligent and user friendly methods residing in the search process give a comfortable environment even for the beginners in the field. In this paper, we develop a web based catalog for machining tools especially in Milling process. It has two distinct procedures for the users of the catalog; Search and Analysis. The Search is to select a proper cutter, insert, component combination in the developed relational database based on the cutting process and material. The Analysis is to suggest a recommended optimal cutting conditions based on the machining tools and selected materials. All of these procedures are stored in a server with a program based on the ASP and Java Script where the procedure is initiated by the client using the internet which is accessed through insert. With the success on implementing the above engineering database in the internet, we can provide the foundation for developing PDM with heuristic procedure.

본 연구의 목적은 DLS 종합목록의 교과 연계성을 분석하고 강화 방안을 마련하기 위한 것이다. 연계성 평가 기준으로 포괄성, 상세성, 최신성 그리고 소장처를 활용하였다. 그리고 서울지역 사회과의 도서관활용수업 학습주제를 활용하여 이러한 분석기준을 적용하였다. 분석결과 DLS 종합목록은 도서자료 중심의 학습정보를 제공하고 있으며, 정보의 품질을 평가할 수 있는 상세성이 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 특히 온라인 콘텐츠를 통해서 학습 공동체를 만족시키는데도 한계를 보이고 있다. 따라서 교육과정과 목록의 교육적 가치를 이해하고 있는 사서교사를 배치하여 종합목록의 질을 개선하는 것이 중요하다.

본 논문은 어린이청소년자료를 검색하고자 하는 이용자의 정보요구를 반영한 검색의 접근점이 온라인목록 구축에 반영되어야 할 필요성을 역설하였다. 예를 들면 이용자 연령, 자료유형, 주제/테마, 소재지, 권장도서, 서평, 수상작 정보 등의 검색접근점은 어린이청소년자료를 위한 온라인목록시스템에 반드시 포함시켜야 할 접근점으로 파악하였다. 국립중앙도서관 KOLIS-NET이 소장하고 있는 어린이청소년자료를 기반으로, 어린이청소년자료 온라인 종합목록시스템 구축방안을 제시하고 있다.

As growing the electronic commerce there are significant changes in the products/services catalog into the on-line environment. Advertent of e-catalog business opportunity for their own product/services enlarges the market volume and there are diverse methods for the presentation of its product/services. A method for the presentation of product/services features one uses identification and classification system. This study constructs a classification system and database layout for the product/services classification system as a part of e-catalog system. We consider the specific method for the GDAS-based dataset and UNSPSC classification system in the distribution industry.

Data Alignment is achieved when all trading partners information systems are maintained automatically synchronising with the suppliers information systems on a continuing basis. Electronic catalogues facilitate the ongoing synchronisation of data between trading partners and large retailers in United States and Canada use electronic catalog in order to get rid of non-value added paperwork and manual reconciliation. Data Alignment will dramatically improve the effectiveness of E-Commerce and Supply Chain initiatives including electronic Marketplaces, Collaborative Planning and Forecasting and continuous replenishment processes.

We present a photometric catalog of infrared (IR) sources based on the North Ecliptic Pole Wide field (NEP-Wide) survey of AKARI, which covered a 5.4 $deg^2$ circular area centered on NEP. The catalog contains about 115,000 sources detected at the 9 IRC filter bands, comprehensively covering a wavelength range from 2 to $24{\mu}m$. This is a band-merged catalog including all of the photometry results from the supplementary optical data as well as the IRC bands. To validate a source at a given IRC band, we searched for counterparts in the other bands. The band-merging was done based on this cross-matching of the sources among the filter bands. The NIR sources without any counterpart in any other bands are finally excluded to avoid false objects.

The aims of automation efforts in libraries are the rationalization of interval work and improvement of user services. After a period of exclusive internal computer utilization, later voluntary contact with the computer (e.g., circulation control with self services), patrons of American libraries now have to go to a computer terminal if they want certain information. Online public access catalogs(OPAC) have been used in American libraries since the end of the seventies. But OP AC are accepted by patron only if they have a useful and flexible user interface. This paper briefly describes the use of online catalogs in different type of libraries, categories of user (user, non-user), aspect of catalog use in context with computer experience etc. The disscussion then focuses on the characteristics of the final report of online catalog use study of Council on Library Resources and user problems in searching, as reported in many other catalog use studies.
