Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of job-seeking stress, career decision-making self-efficacy and self-esteem on subjective happiness of university students. Methods: The participants were 281 university students in D city. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire. The data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 19.0 using one-way ANOVA, t-test, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression. Results: Subjective happiness showed positive association with career decision-making self-efficacy, self-esteem and negative association with job-seeking stress. Factors that had an influence on subjective happiness were monthly family income (less than two million won ${\beta}$=-.263, p<.001, between two million won and four million won ${\beta}$=-.207, p<.001), major satisfaction (very unsatisfied ${\beta}$=-.221, p<.001, satisfied ${\beta}$=.161, p=.003), gender (female ${\beta}$=-.154, p=.005), subjective health (unhealthy ${\beta}$=-.134, p=.013), and school year (sophomore ${\beta}$=-.123, p=.024). These factors explained 22.6% of the variance in their subjective happiness. Conclusion: The results of this study showed that more positive career decision-making self-efficacy, self-esteem and more negative job-seeking stress were needed for their subjective happiness. This study also indicated that economic status, major satisfaction, gender, and subjective health were very important in predicting their subjective happiness. Thus, to improve their happiness, it would be necessary to consider both intrinsic factors such as major satisfaction and extrinsic factors such as general characteristics.
Purpose: The objective of this study was to investigate the relationship among self-efficacy, nursing organizational culture and the emotional labor in clinical nurses. In this study, we investigated the variables related to the science teaching efficacy beliefs of pre-service and in-service elementary school teachers. The participants were 176 freshmen and 260 seniors from an university of education and 234 teachers from 25 elementary schools located in Jeonju. Variables concerning pre-service teachers include their sex, career/study tracks (science or non-science), and the number of science courses taken either at high school or at university. Variables concerning in-service teachers include their sex, academic degree, the frequency and type of participation in science in-service training, and their teaching career experience. The Science Teaching Efficacy Beliefs Instrument was used to measure teachers' self-efficacy beliefs. The results indicated that the personal science teaching efficacy belief scores of seniors were significantly lower than those of freshmen and in-service teachers, whereas the science teaching outcome expectancy scores of seniors were significantly higher than those of freshmen. Among variables investigated, sex, career/study track, the number of science courses taken at high school, and the frequency and type of participation in science in-service training were found to significantly influence teachers' science teaching efficacy beliefs.

In this study, we attempted to identify the personality traits that influence one's likelihood to stalk an ex-partner on Facebook. Specifically, we focused on self-concept-related traits, given that the motivations for using social network sites (SNS) are highly associated with the concept of self. These include self-esteem, narcissism, and self-efficacy. To assess these factors, we controlled for extraneous variables while assessing the predictive power of personality traits, such as Facebook usage, length of the relationship, and time since the break-up. The results of a self-administered, web-based survey (N=207) showed that self-esteem, narcissism, and self-efficacy are all traits that can predict the stalking of an ex-partner on Facebook. More specifically, we showed a negative association between self-esteem and one's likelihood to stalk an ex-partner on Facebook, while it showed positive relationships between Facebook stalking and both narcissism and self-efficacy.

Objectives: This study aims at analyzing relationships between college life adoption, self-efficacy, and self-esteem in undergraduates majored in dental hygiene to explore the ways to prevent college dropouts and promote and support college life adaptation. Methods: This study was made with the use of a self-completion questionnaire with 200 undergraduate students, aged 19 or older, majored in dental hygiene in three colleges situated in Gyeonggi-do, from September 02 to 11, 2019. The results were analyzed using the SPSS Program Version 22.0. Results: First, the degree of college life adaptation in undergraduates majored in dental hygiene was found to be the highest, in those who were under 20 years old and first grade, decided to major in dental hygiene because of 'its aptitude and future career', and graduated from general high school and with a high economic level. Second, the degree of college life adoption was found to be the highest in the third grade in terms of social adaptation, and of the first grade was higher than the second grade. Third, as for the degree of attachment to college, it was revealed to be the highest in those decided to major in dental hygiene because of 'its aptitude and future career', and the degrees of academic adaptation, emotional adaptation, and attachment to college were found to be higher in general high school graduates than specialized high school graduates. Fourth, the factor having the most significant influence on college life adaptation in undergraduates majored in dental hygiene was found to be self-efficacy, followed by self-esteem and economic level. Conclusion: From these results, it is possible to assume that when developing programs to prevent college dropouts in undergraduates majored in dental hygiene, it should consider their high schools, school grades, and motivations to decide to major in dental hygiene. In addition, in order to take an educational approach to raise self-esteem and self-efficacy in career decision making to raise the degree of college life adaptation.

This study was conducted to investigate the relationship among major satisfaction (MS), clinical competence (CC), career decision-making self-efficacy (CDMS), and career decision level (CDL) for undergraduate nursing students. A self-report instrument was used to measure MS, CC, CDMS, and CDL. Questionnaires were completed by 307 nursing students in three nursing colleges, and path analysis was employed to validate the proposed model and analyze the causal relationships among variables. Four constructs (MS, CC, CDMS, and career decision) were analyzed. To build a path model, MS and CC were linked to CDMS and career decision. The initial analysis suggested that the modification needed modification; therefore, a covariance link was added. The overall goodness of fit for indices indicated satisfactory path analysis. The indices were revealed as $x^2=2412$, GFI=0.996, AGFI=0.961, and RMSEA=0.068. As a result, the proposed model was acceptable with a good fit, and there were significant direct and indirect effects of paths in the model. Specifically, MS and CC had a direct influence on CDMS, and MS and CDMS directly affected CDL. Moreover, MS and CC had indirect effects on CDL through CDMS. These results imply that students' CDMS should be seriously considered when designing counseling programs for career guidance, and substantiality of CC education is needed to improve CDMS. These results may provide a practical guideline to provide educational intervention for nursing students.
This study was to identify the factors influencing college life adjustment and sub-scales of nursing students. Self- report questionnaire surveys were conducted toward 282 freshman nursing students to measure college life adjustment, psychological well-being, emotional intelligence, and self-efficacy. Data were collected from September 22 through October 7, 2016. This study was analyzed using SPSS Win 18.0. The average mean of college life adjustment was 3.36 and academic activity was the highest, followed by individual psychology, social experience, Interpersonal relationship, and career preparation. A correlation of psychological well-being, emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, college life adjustment and sub-scales showed positive correlation. The strongest predictor of college life adjustment was a self-efficacy. And sub-scales, the strongest predictor of academic activity was academic achievement, career preparation was self-efficacy, individual psychology and social experience was emotional intelligence, and Interpersonal relationship was psychological well-being. An intervention program which includes these significant variables of subjects is essential to improve of college life adjustment.
The purpose of this paper is to empirically grasp the influence on self-efficacy and depression and the relationship between variables, focusing on middle-aged women in their 40s and 50s who are psychologically and socially vulnerable. Through this, it was intended to explore the psychological problems of highly educated careerinterrupted women from a personal perspective and further derive implications for the development of policies and services for socially highly educated career-interrupted women. The relationship between variables was analyzed through a survey based on measurement tools structured by variables of Saju factors, self-efficacy, and depression, and the effect of the sub-dimensional characteristics of Saju structure on self-efficacy, and the resulting level of depression were verified through structural equation model analysis. Bigeop, Jaeseong, and Kwanseong have been found to have a positive and direct effect on self-efficacy and negative direct effect on depression, eventually increasing self-efficacy and lowering depression. It was found that Siksang had a positive (+) relationship with depression and a negative (-) relationship with self-efficacy, but Inseong did not directly affect self-efficacy and depression. In addition, the indirect effects between variables and the effects between self-efficacy and depression were identified.

This study analyzed the efficiency of a program designed for enforcing the job-seeking ability to overcome the career-barriers as well as the effect of the job-seeking efficacy toward the job-maintaining willingness of the disabled. For this research, the job-seeking ability enforcement program, which was started by the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled, was executed towards the 86 disabled by 7 sessions, which has been operated 6 hours a day for 4 days per week from December in 2012 to November in 2013. The survey for the study was taken twice with the same questionnaire toward the same object; one was a pre-survey that has been done before operating the program and the other was a pro-survey that was done after operating the program. The data was analyzed to obtain the 4 variables of job-seeking efficacy to overcome the career-barriers, which were self-efficacy, job-seeking skill, interpersonal relationship skill and job-information exploration and the 5th variable, job-maintaining willingness. The study findings were as follows. Firstly, the program efficiency was significant in interpersonal relationship skill and job-information exploration, while not significant in self-efficacy and job-seeking skill. Secondly, the self-efficacy and interpersonal relationship skill among the job-seeking efficacy to overcome career-barriers positively affects the job-maintaining willingness.
