음향방출 기법을 이용한 섬유보강 시멘트 복합체의 정량적 손상평가 (Quantitative Damage Evaluation of Fiber-Reinforced Cement Composite Using Acoustic Emission Technique)

  • 섬유는 가교작용에 의한 시멘트 복합체의 파괴를 조절할 수 있는 섬유보강 시멘트 복합체의 중요한 재료로 섬유의 혼입률에 따라 다른 파괴메커니즘을 나타내기도 한다. 일반적인 연구에서 섬유를 보강한 시멘트 매트릭스의 마 이크로 메커니즘에 대한 이해를 통하여 섬유보강 시멘트 복합체의 파괴거동을 평가할 필요가 있다. 이 연구에서는 섬 유보강 시멘트 복합체의 파괴거동을 평가하기 위하여, 반복압축, 휨하중 하에서 음향방출 기법에 의한 섬유보강 시멘트 복합체의 손상을 평가하고 분석하였다. 실험체는 PVA 섬유를 0, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0%를 치환한 총 4개의 실험체를 계획하였 다. 기존 연구의 경우 기본적인 AE 신호에 의한 분석 방법을 제시하고 있으나 이 연구에서는 이전 연구자들에 의해 제 시되었던 음향방출 기법을 이용한 정량적 손상평가를 섬유보강 시멘트 복합체에 적용하여 분석하였다. 펠리시티비에 의 한 손상평가의 경우 기존 연구 결과와 같이 모든 실험체에서 카이저 효과와 함께, 펠리시티비가 0.4~1.1로 나타나 펠리 시티비에 의한 섬유보강 시멘트 복합체의 손상 정도를 평가 할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 또한 휨 실험체의 경우 손상 을 평가하기 위하여 calm ratio, b-value 및 felicity ratio를 사용하였다. 이 연구의 목적은 섬유보강 시멘트 복합체의 손 상을 평가하는데 있어 음향방출 기법을 활용한 정량적 손상평가 방법의 적용 가능성을 평가하고 차후 연구를 위한 기 본 데이터를 확보하고자 한다.

고속 활주선의 선형에 따른 저항 성능 및 규칙파 중 운동 성능 고찰 (Effects of Hull Form Variations on Resistance and Seakeeping Performance of Planing Hulls with and without Incoming Regular Waves)

  • Planing hull forms have significant influences on those hydrodynamic performances in calm water and in waves. Therefore, the hydrodynamic performance of a planing vessel should be predicted by model tests or theoretical calculations, and be confirmed whether it shows the performance requirements at the design stage. In this study, four planing hull forms are designed with the goal of the improvement of resistance and seakeeping performance, and 1/6.5 scale model tests are carried out in Seoul National University towing tank. The effects of design parameters such as length-to-beam ratio, deadrise angle and forebody shape on the hydrodynamic performance are investigated, based on model test results. Running attitude and resistance of model ships in calm water are also estimated by empirical formulae proposed by Savitsky (1964; 2007; 2012), and compared with the model test results. It is shown that calm water performance of non-prismatic planing hulls can be predicted well by Savitsky (2012)'s formula which improves the original Savitsky(1964/2007)'s formula by taking into account the variations of deadrise angles, and the actual angles between the hull bottom and the free surface.

운송 바지선의 예인안정성에 관한 모형시험 및 수치해석 연구 (Experimental and Numerical Study on Towing Stability of Transportation Barge)

  • This paper presents the results of an experimental and numerical study on the towing characteristics of a barge. A series of model tests were carried out at the Ocean Engineering Basin of KRISO. A model with a 1:50 scale ratio was constructed out of wood. First, force coefficient tests were performed in order to obtain the surge, sway, and yaw force coefficients of the barge. The focus was the effect of skeg on the force coefficients. The stability parameter was calculated from the force coefficients. Next, towing tests in calm sea were carried out with different towline lengths and towing speeds. The trajectories of the barge and the towline tensions were measured during the tests. The measured trajectories were compared with numerical simulation results using a cross-flow model. The towing stability of the barge in a calm sea is discussed in detail.

옥계항에서 관측된 폭풍파와 저중력파의 상호관계 (Correlation between Storm Waves and Far-Infra-Gravity Waves Observed in kkye Harbor)

  • 옥계항 내외의 5개 정점에서 부이형 파향·파고계와 수압식 파고계를 사용하여 연속관측한 장·단주기파의 장기간 자료를 분석하여 옥계항 주변 해역에서의 장주기파 에너지의 공간적, 시간적 분포를 검토하였다. 장주기파 자료 분석에 일정평활화법, 점증평활화법 및 이동평균평활화법을 적용하여 각각의 장·단점을 검토한 결과 해당 항만의 제1 공진 모드의 주기와 사용하는 자료의 길이에 따라 적절한 에너지 평활화 방법을 사용해야 함을 보였다. 장기간 자료와 2일 길이의 자료들의 분석 결과를 비교하여 평상시와 폭풍시를 구분하여 해석하는 것이 타당함을 보였다. 한편, 관측 자료의 종합적인 분석 결과 옥계항의 Helmholtz 공진 주기는 약 9.6분(상대진폭비 9∼10)으로 제시되었으며 저중력파 주기대의 주기 1.2∼1.3분과 0.7분의 국부 부진동이 매우 뚜렷하게 나타났다. 그리고, 평상시 자료에서는 항입구와 항내 정점에서 주기 9분 이상에서의 에너지가 저중력파 주기대의 에너지에 비해 100배 이상으로 매우 크게 나타났지만, 폭풍시에는 주파수 대폭에 무관하게 에너지가 크게 나타났으며, 특히 항내에서는 국부 부진동의 에너지가 평상시에 비해 최소 100배 이상으로 제시되었다. 마지막으로 항내에서는 Helmholtz 공진 모드와 주기 1∼2분의 저중력파 에너지가 폭풍파고의 크기에 비례하는 것으로 나타났다.

조선시대 규방문화에 표현된 색채특성 (The Characteristics of Colors Found in the Gyubang Culture of Joseon Dynasty)

  • This study examines the rotor characteristics of Guybang culture (women's living in Joseon) relics which the life images and mental world of women in Joseon if expressed to prepare rotor data to be utilized in modern design and information for color identity establishment of Korean women culture. The result of this study is as following: 1. From 176 pieces of relic photos, total of 1380 color chips were extracted. For color analysis, 1368 units (99.1%) of color data excluding achromatic 12 units (0.9%) among 1380 units of colors were used. With the standard of 10 color wheel of Munsell Color System, the result of studying distributions according to frequency, red was the highest by 25.9%, yellow was 21.4% in women's goods in Joseon period which the ratio of red and yellow was 473%. Other than that, GY 14.6%, YR 11.3% and RP 11.1% followed next which is studied that the warm colors that conveys enjoyable and glamorous feelings composed 84.3%; 2. As a result of tone analysis, high value low chroma ltg color showed highest distribution of 20% and d was 12.2%, b was 11.7% and sf was 8.8%. Generally, it showed high frequency in high value cocors such as ltg, sf and b of 40.5%t and in low chroma (ltg) and medium chroma (d, sf) of 41% and colors in bright and calm image was used the most. 3. As a result of analyzing relationship between hue & tone, the ltg tone of Y close to white in traditional color sensibility showed the highest frequency of 9.6% and ltg tone of GY(6.4%), b tone of RP(6.1%), and v(5.4%), b(5.4%), dp(5.3%) of R followed next. 4. As a result of analyzing the characteristics of coloring, it showed that in case of coloring contrasting hues, it is adjusted similar tones and in case of coloring less contrasting hue, the difference in tone is adjusted to be rather large to make harmonized coloring. Moreover, in case of coloring similar hues, the ratio of using same tone and similar tone was large which the coloring of calm image and dynamic image is all used.

개구부가 좁은 직사각형 항만의 공진특성(1.현장관측과 자료 분석) (Resonant Characteristics in Rectangular Harbor with Narrow Entrance (1.Field Measurements and Data Analyses))

  • 입구폭이 좁고 직사각형 형태인 감천항에서 수압식 파고계를 이용한 장·단주기파 및 유속계를 이용한 항입구 유속관측을 실시하였다. 수압 자료에 경향 제거와 Butterworth 고주파수 통과 필터를 적용하여 조석 성분을 제거하였다. 스펙트럼 밀도의 평활화시 주파수폭을 일정하게 유지하는 일정평활화법에 비해 저주파수에서 고주파수로 가면서 폭을 증가시키는 점증평활화법이 장·단주기측에서 모두 만족할 만한 해상도를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 후자를 현장관측 자료에 적용하여 구한 스펙트럼 밀도와 상대진폭비를 기준하여 감천항의 부진동 모드를 검토하였다. 전체 자료를 분석한 결과 감천항의 Helmholtz 공진 모드는 주기 31.7분에서 상대진폭비 9.2를 보여 동해안의 여러 항만에 비해 상당히 큰 값을 나타냈으며, 제 2 및 제 3 공진주기는 10.3분과 5.4분으로 제시되었다. 한편, 길이를 1일로 분할한 자료들의 분석결과 폭풍시에는 평상시에 비해 스펙트럼 밀도가 매우 컸을 뿐만 아니라 제2 및 제 3 공진의 출현 현상이 우세한 것으로 나타났다.

동북아 4개국 약전의 한약제제 비교분석 (Comparative analysis of herbal formulas in Pharmacopoeia of 4 countries in Northeast Asia)

  • Objectives : The aim of this study was to find how Northeast Asia(Korea, China, Taiwan, Japan) supervise herbal formulas in their pharmacopoeia.Methods : We compared items, formula's effects, formulations, etc and analyzed common formulas among Northeast Asia`s herbal pharmacopoeia (Korea(2010), China(2010), Taiwan(2013), Japan(16th Edition), drugs in Japan OTC Drugs (2007-2008))Results : The Korean Pharmacopoeia, the Korean Herbal Pharmacopoeia, Taiwan herbal pharmacopoeia, the japanese pharmacopoeia, drugs in Japan OTC drugs and pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China have 5, 251, 200, 20, 294, 1059 formulas, respectively. In comparison of pharmacopoeia`s test item, Korea and Japan has many similarity, for example, not refer to the effect of formulas. Korea and China have many inspection test of formulations in pharmacopoeia. Each country has differences in ratio of efficacy categories. For example, China especially has a higher ratio of formulas that regulate the blood and Korea has higher ratio of formulas that calm the spirit and open the sensory orifices than those of other 3 countries. There are 17 common formulas among the 4 countries and 43 common formulas among Korea, Taiwan and Japan. Comparing dosage forms, Korea, Japan, Drugs In Japan OTC drugs, Taiwan, China uses 4, 2, 14, 3, 21 formulations, respectively.Conclusions : China has many formulations and new formulas. Taiwan and Japan supervised formulas only selected by the authorities. However, Korean pharmacopoeia has similar form with Japan and need to add more formulas on demand and new formulations.

랜덤 감쇠기법을 이용한 분할모형의 접수 감쇠계수 추정 (Wet Damping Estimation of the Segmented Hull Model using the Random Decrement Technique)

  • This paper presents the wet damping estimation of the segmented hull model using the random decrement technique together with the continuous wavelet transform. The tested 16 sea states are grouped together based on the speed of the ship in order to figure out the possible influence of the ship speed on the damping ratio. The measured time histories of vertical bending moment for each tested sea state were processed with random decrement technique to derive the free decay signal, from which the damping ratios are estimated. Also, the autocorrelation functions of the filtered signal were calculated and comparison was made with the free decay signal obtained from the random decrement technique. Then the wet damping ratios for each sea state group, as well as precise wet natural frequencies, are estimated by using continuous wavelet transform. It turned out that the wet natural frequencies derived from the measured signal did not show any significant discrepancy compared with those obtained by wet hammering test, whereas the damping ratio did. It was considered that the discrepancy of the damping ratio between in calm and moving water may be attributed to the viscous effects caused by dramatically different flow pattern and relative velocity between the vibrating structure and surrounding fluid particles.

Influence of time-of-day on respiratory function in normal healthy subjects

  • Purpose: Human body have biological rhythmic pattern in a day, which is affected by internal and external environmental factors. We investigated whether respiratory function was fluctuated according to the influence of time-of-day (around at 9 am, 1 pm, and 6 pm) in health subjects, using pulmonary function test (PFT). Methods: Eighteen healthy volunteers (8 men, mean ages; $22.4{\pm}1.6$, mean heights; $166.61{\pm}9.60$, mean weight; $59.3{\pm}10.3$) were recruited. Pulmonary function test (PFT) was measured at three time points in day, around 9 am, 1 pm, and 6 pm in calm research room with condition of under 55dB noise level, using a spirometer (Vmax 229, SensorMecis, USA). Forced vital capacity (FVC), forced expiratory volume at one second (FEV1), FVC/FEV1, and peak expiratory flow (PEF) were acquired. Results: In comparison of raw value of PFT among three time points, subjects showed generally better respiratory function at 9 am, than at other points, although no significance was found. In comparison of distribution of ranking for respiratory function in each individual, only PEF showed significant difference. In general, distributional ratio of subjects who showed best performance of respiratory function in a day was high. Conclusion: These findings showed that circadian rhythm by diurnal pattern was not detected on respiratory function throughout all day. But, best performance on respiratory function was observed mostly in the morning, although statistical significance did not exist.

特定地域의 大氣汚染 擴散모델 開發에 關한 硏究 (A Study on the Development of Air Pollution Dispersion Model for Personal Computer)

  • This study was performed to develop a long-term air pollution dispersion model based on CDM program for use in the personal computer. The model CDM.PC, developmented for use of this study, simplified the plum equation of point pollution source in a windy state and sindless state. We used the classified 8 class stability, 16 wind direction and 4 class wind speed for the computer input climatological data. The plum rise equation is applied for CONCAWE's equation above 2,000 Kcal/sec of the exhaust calorie and Moses-Carson's equation below 2,000Kcal/sec at windy state, and Brigg's equation at calm. The time required is 200 minutes for drawing the air pollution contour for treating ten stacks under the above-stated conditions. It is the weakness of using personal computer that the operation time is longer than a large-size computer. But it strength is that the personal computer is used widely. To compare the treatment results of CDM.PC with TCM, we comfirmed that the shape of $SO_2$ pollution contour is similar but the concentration distribution is quite different because of characteristics of each models. Estimated and measured $SO_2$ concentration were similar, namely, Cest/Cob ratio of CDM.PC and TCM were respectively $0.96 \pm 0.25 (mean\pmS.D)$ and $1.08\pm0.26$.
