건물구조체(建物構造體) 자동화(自動化) 시스템의 생산성(生產性) 분석(分析)을 위한 기초적(基礎的) 연구(硏究) (A Study on the Productivity Analysis of a Building Automation System)

  • The productivity is the one of the primary elements to evaluate the new systems performance for building construction along with the economic efficiency, the safety, and the quality improvement. At present the on-site construction automation systems(we will call it as Construction Factory or CF hereafter) is under the development by research group for construction automation of high-rise building. The system includes many sub-systems such as a robotic crane, a construction factory, bolting robots, a building material management system using RFID and so on. In this study we discuss and propose the method to evaluate for these hybrid on-site automation system fundamentally. In future we devise a framework of evaluation modules for the on-site building automation system on the basis of this discuss.

THE CONFLICT MANAGEMENT STYLE ADOPTED BY THE SUBCONTRACTORS OF HONG KONG BUILDING PROJECTS

  • It is a common practice in Hong Kong for the main contractors of local building projects to sublet most of the work to subcontractors. Consequently their roles have gradually transformed from a constructor to a manager of subcontractors. The outcomes of a project therefore depend heavily on the subcontractors' performance. However, most of the subcontractors complain that they are unable to efficiently and effectively operate due to site coordination problems, such as inaccurate site reference lines, caused by main contractors. The site problems may consume significant amounts of resources if practical solutions cannot be agreed by the project participants early enough. Rahim Organizational Conflict Inventory-II (ROCI-II) model was developed by M.A. Rahim that measure five types of conflict management style including Integrating, Obliging, Dominating, Avoiding and Compromising. This paper presents the questionnaire survey based on the ROCI-II model to rank the preference on the conflict management style adopted by the project representatives of the subcontractors in handling the site coordination problems and its impact to the time used to agree the solutions to the different types of site coordination problems with main contractor. The survey results show that most of the subcontractors' project representatives preferred to adopt the Compromising style to tackle the site coordination problems and the time used to agree the solutions with main contractor was influenced by the conflict management style adopted.

  • 건축프로젝트의 성과향상을 위해 현장관리자들이 조직에 최선을 다할 수 있도록 효과적으로 관리하는 것이 중요하다. 또한, 현장조직은 끊임없이 의사결정을 하므로 조직에서 의사결정이 적절하게 이루어지는지가 성과에 많은 영향을 미친다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 현장조직의 성과향상을 위해 현장관리자의 의사결정 참여와 조직몰입의 관계를 파악하는 것이 목적이다. 연구 결과 현장관리자들은 의사결정을 할 때 사람 중심보다는 업무 중심으로 하는 성향이 높은 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 의사결정 유형에 따라 정서적 몰입에 차이가 있으며, 의사결정 참여도와 조직몰입 간에 약한 상관관계가 있는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 현장조직의 직무수행관리 능력을 높이는 데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다.

양동마을 택지선정의 물리적 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Physical Characteristics of the Selection of Location in Yangdong Village)

  • In this study, there is a purpose of using the GIS DB built in DEM, by analyzing the physical characteristics of the building site Yangdong village, to determine the spatial structure of the village. In order to understand the targeted spatial structure of Yangdong Village, the building site was analyzed separately by type and position. Through analysis it is clear the selection of building site relates to the slope and aspect that aquires the most solar radiation in Yangdong Village. This study shows that the amount of solar radiation in the terrain is unfavorable in parts of the village because slope and elevation affect the selection of the building site. That is, this village is confirmed to be influenced by solar radiation, according to slope and elevation, based on how the Yangdong Village is configured. And, while overcoming the adverse conditions to make the most, the village is formed according to the natural environmental conditions.

1926년 경성부청 이전 후 옛 청사 터의 변화 -행정 중심지에서 상업 중심지로 - (Change of the Kyeong-seong-bu Administration Office's former Site after the Office's Moving out in 1926 -From a Administrative Center to a Commercial Center-)

  • The former administration office building of Kyeong-seong-bu(京城府) was a building converted from the Japanese residency-general's of Kyeong-seong(京城理事廳) which was originally built as the Japanese consulate in Joseon(日本領事館). It was too worn and too small as a Kyeong-seong-bu administration office even with several annexes. Kyeong-seong-bu tried to build a new big administration office building at the vacant north side of the same site, which was closely faced to the rotary in front of the Bank of Joseon(朝鮮銀行前廣場). But this trial was ended in vain due to insufficient budget. Therefore Kyeong-seong-bu built a new administration office building in another site and moved to it in 1926 with debts. For paying for the debts Kyeong-seong-bu sold the former site after partitioning with new roads through it. As a result the nature of the former site and its surroundings was changed. This study traces the changes and inquires how the authorities in the colonial Joseon and various commercial powers of Kyeong-seong-bu behaved for their own interests in the meantime. It makes use of the historical records and documentary literatures between early 1910s and early 1930s.

  • The government seismic retrofit project for educational facilities is progressing more actively due to the 2018 Pohang earthquake. It is most important that seismic retrofit constructions are conformed to seismic design to achieve the desired purpose of the project as reduce direct damage caused by earthquake. However, the construction supervision system is not mandatory for the retrofit construction site of small buildings including school buildings according to applicable laws and regulations. The purpose of this study was to develop a guide for constructions management of school building seismic retrofit. In order to achieve this goal, the survey on the construction site was conducted and various problems related to the construction site of school building seismic retrofit was derived Additionally, the systematic checklist was presented according to the user and seismic reinforcement method.

  • With improvements of information technology, the cases which automation technology are applied to construction site are increased. These technologies have advantages and limitations for construction site, therefore they has to be considered in order to maximize benefit.   • The purpose of this study is to present a fundamental data for evaluating aircraft noise of building site development. By the field experiments and the predicted equal noise level contours using the INM program, actual condition in the building site development arranged district was investigated. In order to get the results, Analysis of factors effected on noise level, sound level on the rate of increase to aircraft demand and difference on the aircraft noise levels according to floor level in apartment house was carried out. As a result the influence of the take-off and landing direction were appeared greatly. The influences of the height at receiving point, movement number of aircraft and increase to aircraft demand were appeared small And the influence of 1 day average WECPNL must be considered.

  • This study has been reorganizing a standard breakdown structure of temporary technique focused on construction site. For this, first of all we, the authors, reviewed features and present statuss of construction temporary technique, and could develop to the standard breakdown structure through studying a construction site and researching a delphi method. By using the standard breakdown structure obtained from this study, it is expected that the application of to information of construction business and plan to a schedule and a work.
