BES 프로그램을 이용한 온실의 에너지 관리 (A Review of Greenhouse Energy Management by Using Building Energy Simulation)

  • 본 논문에서는 온실작물 생육에 적절한 미기상환경을 제공하기 위한 최적의 조건을 찾아내기 위하여 TRNSYS 프로그램을 이용하여 온실의 구조 및 환경인자와 에너지공급기술들에 대하여 시뮬레이션을 실시한 연구논문들을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 온실에너지 관리를 위해 사용되고 있는 여러 가지 에너지시스템과 기술들에 관하여 검토하고 이들에 대해 TRNSYS 시뮬레이션을 통해 실시한 효율분석에 관하여 검토하는 것이다. 사용가능한 에너지자원과 다양한 외부기상조건에 따른 에너지절감기술들의 성능을 분석하기 위한 여러가지 시뮬레이션 모델들에 대해서도 검토하였다. 사용자가 정의하는 인자들을 사용하여 하이브리드 농업시설을 시뮬레이션 할 수 있는 TRNSYS 프로그램의 주요 구조들을 찾아내었다. 문헌검토에서 얻어진 결과를 토대로 TRNSYS 프로그램을 이용하여 온실의 에너지관리를 위한 시뮬레이션 모델을 개발하는데 필요한 몇 가지 중요한 결론들을 도출하였다. TRNSYS 프로그램은 앞으로 온실의 에너지 시뮬레이션을 수행하는데 크게 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

  • The purpose of this study is to propose development of Schedule based Architectural Construction Simulation System. In this study (or paper), It analyzes the simulation system concept and its characteristics, and analyze the main functions simulation system and the range of functions which are already used currently. Therefore, It could find the limit of the present simulation system, and propose more effective solutions to develop Schedule based Architectural Construction Simulation System.

Large eddy simulation of wind effects on a super-tall building

  • A new inflow turbulence generation method and a combined dynamic SGS model recently developed by the authors were applied to evaluate the wind effects on 508 m high Taipei 101 Tower. Unlike the majority of the past studies on large eddy simulation (LES) of wind effects on tall buildings, the present numerical simulations were conducted for the full-scale tall building with Reynolds number greater than $10^8$. The inflow turbulent flow field was generated based on the new method called discretizing and synthesizing of random flow generation technique (DSRFG) with a prominent feature that the generated wind velocity fluctuations satisfy any target spectrum and target profiles of turbulence intensity and turbulence integral length scale. The new dynamic SGS model takes both advantages of one-equation SGS model and a dynamic production term without test-filtering operation, which is particular suitable to relative coarse grid situations and high Reynolds number flows. The results of comparative investigations with and without generation of inflow turbulence show that: (1) proper simulation of an inflow turbulent field is essential in accurate evaluation of dynamic wind loads on a tall building and the prescribed inflow turbulence characteristics can be adequately imposed on the inflow boundary by the DSRFG method; (2) the DSRFG can generate a large number of random vortex-like patterns in oncoming flow, leading to good agreements of both mean and dynamic forces with wind tunnel test results; (3) The dynamic mechanism of the adopted SGS model behaves adequately in the present LES and its integration with the DSRFG technique can provide satisfactory predictions of the wind effects on the super-tall building.

Evaluation of a Fungal Spore Transportation in a Building under Uncertainty

  • A fungal spore transportation model that accounts for the concentration of airborne indoor spores and the amount of spores deposited on interior surfaces has been developed by extending the current aerosol model. This model is intended to be used for a building with a mechanical ventilation system, and considers HVAC filter efficiency and ventilation rate. The model also includes a surface-cleaning efficiency and frequency that removes a portion of spores deposited on surfaces. The developed model predicts indoor fungal spore concentration and provides an indoor/outdoor ratio that may increase or decrease mold growth risks in real, in-use building cases. To get a more useful outcome from the model simulation, an uncertainty analysis has been conducted in a real building case. By including uncertainties associated with the parameters in the spore transportation model, the simulation results provide probable ranges of indoor concentration and indoor/outdoor ratio. This paper describes the uncertainty quantification of each parameter that is specific to fungal spores, and uncertainty propagation using an appropriate statistical technique. The outcome of the uncertainty analysis showed an agreement with the results from the field measurement with air sampling in a real building.

국소적 연돌효과 저감대책의 효용성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Usefulness of the Countermeasures locally for the stack-effect in High-rise building)

  • High-rise buildings have some problems by stack effect. And, the solutions on the problems should be determined by considering an overall building. But, ordinarily, the countermeasures on the problems are applied to local part of the building. Local countermeasures often can be possible to arouse the secondary problems accompanied by the stack-effect. In this study, the usefulness of local countermeasures are evaluated in terms of both the reduction effect on problems and the possible secondary problems with simulations. The simulation results show that the application of countermeasures on an overall building is very important and that local countermeasures can be used optionally according to building's conditions.

  • As building becomes larger, taller and more complex due to industrialization and urbanization, it tends to be vulnerable to fire and establishment of effective measures for fire safety is demanded. Especially the fact that the smoke hinders evacuation and fire-fighting activities as well as becomes the major cause of life casualty emphasizes the importance of smoke control system. To design and operate the smoke control system success folly, it is necessary to analyze and predict precisely the thermoflow induced by fire in building. The unsteady three-dimensional analysis of thermoflow induced by fire with diverse variables such as building structure, fire conditions and smoke control facilities can be effectively carried out with numerical method In this study, using the FDS(Fire Dynamics Simulation) program that spreads widely as the analysis tool for thermoflow of fire, the analysis of thermoflow in partition of building induced by fire and comparison with the experimental results for assessment of numerical analysis are presented.

고층건물에 작용하는 풍하중에 관한 수치 해석적 연구 (Numerical study of wind load on the high-rise building)

  • The wind load on building surface is numerically investigated. The geometry of target building is a square cross section and aspect ratio (height (H) to width (d)) is 6. On building surface, the pressure was measured, compared to obtained value from numerical simulation. The numerical simulations were done using URANS with three different turbulence models such as v2-f model, k-${\omega}$model, and k-${\varepsilon}$ model, respectively. The v2-f model showed the best agreement with experimental data in simulating mean pressure coefficients on front, rear and side surface. But unsteady characteristics of pressure history measured on surface is shown a discrepancy between experiment and numerical simulation.

  • Korea rapidly arranged urbanization and overpopulation with high growth of economy and all kinds of decrepit facilities are scattered all over the downtown. If there is a strong wind in fire, fire is rapidly increased by various fire spread factors. And Korea cannot build prediction model of urban fire combustion phenomena because there is no studies that physically explains the suitable flame phenomena for its real state. In this study, based on the Japanese Urban fire simulation to target the building congested Area and suitability of fire risk assessment were reviewed.

  • This study makes three apartment building complex an object of analyzing representative building types and energy consumption rate of house holds, and effect of outdoor air cooling. Recently created apatrment complex is composed of very various types of building, plan, and orientation etc. But, it is difficult to remark conclusively that these various types of buildings are designed energy-effectively. Because architects are hard to find useful energy design guideline for decision making. By the preceding study, the present condition and problem about this subject is grasped, apartment building types were examined and representative types were extracted. In this study, energy simulation was conducted, and the effect to outdoor air cooling was analyzed about representative types of the subject apartment complex. It is expected that this analysed results will be basic data for the more integrated study. Research consequence can be summarized as follow: 1) Besides solar gain, household layout of building, orientation, and plan etc. effects compositively on energy consumption rate. 2) The effect of ourdoor air cooling in building of tower type can be improved by arranging households appropriately.
