In this study, it has been intended to present the ways to improve some problems such as the difficulty of using the program which had got from the existing study, the computation and application of a lot of parameter and the complicated processing which need to be more simplified. Also It has been tried to bring up the ways to make a flood inundation map and a detailed inundation analysis which could reduce the risk factors. We selected an Anseong-Cheon basin, and wrote a flood inundation scenario based on extreme flood to exceed the planned frequency to consider only overflow and levee break and executed inundation simulation. Researchers conducted an analysis of overflow and levee break using function of HEC-RAS Storage with a One-Dimensional model. It applied Elevation versus Volume Curve for more correct inundation simulation than a method of Area-Time-Depth which used in popular. This study will suggest a mathematical method of SURFER with a little difference of inundation area more simplified and precise flood inundation than complicated Arcview 3.2a which used Query method of Arcview 3.2a.

Using data from a departmental profit and loss management questionnaire survey conducted for a group of hospitals consisting of various establishment entities, this study evaluates the effectiveness of departmental profit and loss management practices, such as break-even analysis, based on objective performance data. The study also examines whether the implementation of departmental profit and loss accounting is still effective in improving profitability in the financial year 2021 and whether the effectiveness of the implementation of departmental profit and loss accounting is robust. This study reconfirmed that the implementation of departmental profit-and-loss accounting has a positive effect on objective financial performance in hospitals and that the effect of improving profitability can be enhanced by implementing it monthly with high frequency and regularity and by using the accounting results more actively. It was also found that the department's implementation of break-even analysis had a positive impact on financial performance, which was enhanced by more active use of the data. Given the current economic climate, a hospital organization's active participation in income statement management, not only for the hospital as a whole but also for each department, would be an effective management activity.

As the speed of the paper machine and printing press increases, the dependency of the production efficiency upon the frequency of web break increases. It is believed that flaw or crack that presents in paper is one of the most important for web break. Runnability of papers on the paper machine could be evaluated by measuring fracture toughness. In this paper the effect kof beating and pressing on the runnability was investigated using handsheets made from softwood bleached kraft pulp beaten to different freeness. Pressing pressure was also varied to obtain different levels of sheet consolidation. Density, tensile strength, and J-integral of the handsheets were evaluated. For measuring J-integral either a single specimen method or RPM method was employed. Results showed that the density and tensile strength were improved as beating and pressing increased because of increased interfiber bonding. J-integral increased with beating until the CSF reached 400mL. No significant difference in J-integral, however, was observed afterward with the increase of beating. And it appeared to be due to acceleration of the stress concentration around the crack that exists on the fiber wall of the sheet when cracks exists.

Based on the statistical annual report, there are 17,649 reservoirs are operating for the purpose of agricultural water supply in Korea. 58 % of entire agricultural reservoirs had been constructed before 1948 which indicate the termination of required service life and rest of those reservoirs have also exposed to the dam break risk by extreme flood event caused by current ongoing climate change. To prevent damages from dam failure accident of these risky small size dams, it is necessary to evaluate and manage the structural and hydrological safety of the reservoirs. In this study, a simplified evaluation method for hydrologic safety of dam is suggested by using Rational and Creager formula. Hydrologic safety of small scale dams has evaluated by calculating flood discharge capacity of the spillway and compares the results with design frequency of each reservoir. Applicability and stability of suggested simplified method have examined and reviewd by comparing the results from rainfall-runoff modeling with dam break simulation using HEC-HMS. Application results of developed methodology for three sample reservoirs show that simplified assessment method tends to calculate greater inflow to the reservoirs then HEC-HMS model which lead lowered hydrologic safety of reservoirs. Based on the results of application, it is expected that the developed methodology can be adapted as useful tool for small scale reservoir's hydrologic safety evaluation.
Recent analysis results with realistic assumptions provide the variability of operator allowable time for the initiation of aggressive cooldown under small break loss of coolant accident or steam generator tube rupture with total failure of high pressure safety injection. We investigated how plant risk may vary depending on the variability of operators' failure probability of timely initiation of aggressive cooldown. Using a probabilistic safety assessment model of a nuclear power plant, we showed that plant risks had a linear relation with the failure probability of aggressive cooldown and could be reduced by up to 10% as aggressive cooldown is more reliably performed. For individual accident management, we found that core damage potential could be gradually reduced by up to 40.49% and 63.84% after a small break loss of coolant accident or a steam generator tube rupture, respectively. Based on the importance of timely initiation of aggressive cooldown by main control room operators within the success criteria, implications for improvement of emergency operating procedures are discussed. We recommend conducting further detailed analyses of aggressive cooldown, commensurate with its importance in reducing risks in nuclear power plants.
A cause of noise and vibration which come from a Combustion of gas heater are a combustion roar and Combustion oscillation. A character of a combustion roar is that sound pressure is distribute with broad band frequency. otherwise, The presence of combustion oscillation caused by positive Feed Back in Combustion Chamber break out a noise and vibration. Accordingly, The method that be solved a noise and vibration is to make each natural frequency different frequency. first, in order to solve problem, we control ratio of fuel and air. that is, Keep away resonance. second, in order to changing natural frequency of Combustion Chamber, We changed the shape of Economizer.
For each construction material used, there is certain theoretical limit in sizes. For tall building construction, the reduction in slab weight is the first step to take in order to break such size limits. In this paper, the feasibility of such objective is proven and given by numerical analysis result. For a typical building slab, both concrete and advanced composite sandwich panels are considered. The concrete slab is treated as a special orthotropic plate to obtain more accurate result. Any method may be used to obtain the deflection influence surfaces needed for this vibration analysis. Finite difference method is used for this purpose, in this paper. The influence of the modulus of the foundation on the natural frequency is thoroughly studied.
The Kepler space mission provides quantitative and qualitative photometric time series of oscillating stars. It is possible to examine statistical study with seismic properties of solar-like stars. Global seismic properties - large frequency separation (${\Delta}{\nu}$), frequency of maximum power (${\nu}_{max}$) and amplitude of Gaussian envelope (A) widely have been used to determine empirical scaling relations for inferring the stellar physical quantities - mass, age and temperature. We aim to confirm whether width of Gaussian envelope on power excess (${\delta}{\nu}_{env}$) can be used with parameter of scaling relation before redgiant phase using Kepler data. Therefore we analyze the characteristics of ${\delta}{\nu}_{env}$ of 129 solar-like stars from main-sequence to subgiant. We have demonstrated that ${\delta}{\nu}_{env}$ has highly correlations with global parameters - ${\Delta}{\nu}$ and ${\nu}max$. We have also found the break of ${\delta}{\nu}_{env}-{\Delta}{\nu}$ and ${\nu}_{max}$ relations.
Predicting the right prosodic elements is a key factor in improving the quality of synthesized speech. Prosodic elements include break, pitch, duration and loudness. Pitch, which is realized by Fundamental Frequency (F0), is the most important element relating to the quality of the synthesized speech. However, the previous method for predicting the F0 appears to reveal some problems. If voiced and unvoiced sounds are not correctly classified, it results in wrong prediction of pitch, wrong unit of triphone in synthesizing the voiced and unvoiced sounds, and the sound of click or vibration. This kind of feature is usual in the case of the transformation from the voiced sound to the unvoiced sound or from the unvoiced sound to the voiced sound. Such problem is not resolved by the method of grammar, and it much influences the synthesized sound. Therefore, to steadily acquire the correct value of pitch, in this paper we propose a new model for predicting and classifying the voiced and unvoiced sounds using the CART tool.

In this paper, The author present a load current feed-forward compensator by method that improve voltage controller of Step-down Chopper to get stable output voltage to sudden change of load current. To confirm the characteristicsof a presented load current feed -forward compensator compared each transfer function of whole system that load current feed-forward compensator is added with transfer function of whole system that existent voltage controller is included using Mason gains formula in Root locus and Bode diagram. As a result the pole of system is improved, extreme point of the wave and system improves, and size of peak value and phase margin of break frequency in resonance frequency confirmed that is good. Therefore, presented control technique could confirm that reduce influence by perturbation and improves stationary state and dynamic characteristics in output of Step-down Chopper.
