중국(中國) 절강성(浙江省) 영파지역(寧波地域) 남성(男性)의 체형연구(體形硏究) (Body Types of Adult Males in the Ningbo Area of Zhejiang Province in China)

  • Body measurement was held for the subjects of Chinese adult males in their 20s through 40s residing in the Ningbo area of Zhejiang Province in order to provide body type information and raise the fit of clothing products for the advancement into the Chinese market. The following sums up the analysis of body types based on body measurement: 1. Seven factors to compose body types were produced from the analysis of males in their 20s, explaining 76.07% of variables and representing 3 types according to cluster analysis. Type 1 was H-b and appeared as much as 32.14%. Type 2, semi X-d, was 40.81%, while Type 3, A-i, had 27.04%. 2. Eight body type composing factors were extracted from the analysis of men in their 30s and 40s. The factors explained 76.77% of all the variables and represented 4 types according to cluster analysis. Type 1, H-d, had the appearance rate of 18.47%; Type 2, H-b, 40.84%; Type 3, Y-i, 27.71%; and Type 4, semi X-s, 11.95%.

A Basic Study on the Hat Production for Aged Women

  • This study aims to suggest basic data for the production of hats for aged women. The subjects were 151 females who are 60 years old or above and live in Busan. Their hat-wearing reality was inquired and their head parts were measured, which led to the following conclusion: 1. Results of Hat-Wearing Reality Inquiry 64.9% answered they are unsatisfied with the size system of the available hats at present, implying the necessity for improving the current dimension system. 92.7% responded hat dimensions need to be subdivided, while 97.4% were for the necessity of hat size system. 74.8% expressed their will to buy ordered hats because they can find the hats of right sizes and designs. 2. Results of Head-Part Measurement Experiments According to head-part measurement, head circumference A was 53.26cm, head circumference B 54.19cm, and head circumference C 57.69cm on the average. Cluster analysis revealed three types. Type 1 (24%) with small head length and circumference is the smallest head with a wide upper part. Type 2 (33%) has long head height, short bitragion arc A, and thick head breadth. Type 3 (43%), owing to big head circumference and length as well as high values in vertical items. Considering head circumference B (HCB) and bitragion arc A (BAA), a new hat size system of 3 sizes (HCB: BAA) was chosen: S (52cm: 29cm), M (53-55cm: 30cm), and L (56-57cm: 31cm).

  • This research aims to present the corresponding dimensions of China men's clothes on the basis of size specification of Korea men's suits. The results of this study, with the cooperation of Sejung Company exporting men's clothes to Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province in China, are as follows: 1. Based on the drop standard of KS K 0050, the body types of Chinese men in their 20s were classified. A body types were 55.77%, Y body types were 32.16%, B body types were 11.55% and BB body types were 1.51%. 2. According to the criteria of ready-made dimensions of normal body type suggested in Korea Standards, and in consideration of the basic distribution reality of body dimensions, representative 5 sizes were selected. 3. Research jackets by different sizes were produced and went through wearing tests. The means of 1st wearing test were 3.86, 4.09, 4.09, 3.57, and 3.69. The mean of 2nd wearing test of 88-73-170 size was 4.32. 4. The corresponding size specification of China men's clothes based on those of Korea men's suits were presented here, showing product sizes and physical items in detail.

Effects of Hair Colors on the Optical Illusion of Body Types

  • The purpose of this study is to determine affects of hair colors on physical shapes and images through field survey and experimental research. For the purpose, this researcher surveyed 230 female college students residing in Busan about their dyed hair colors, and selected the subjects for the study. Then the researcher an experimental research on the subjects by suing test stimuli. Results of the study can be described as follows: Experiment of the Optical Illusion of Physical Shapes. For all items measured for the experiment, except four ones, if was found that hair colors provided significant efforts of optical illusion factor analysis, included horizontality, outlines of the body and face, a horizontal line of the shoulder, the length, verticality and a horizontal line of the face. According to hair colors, black made the body look slimmer and the face look apparent. White made the body height look low, the outline of the face look clear and the neck or shoulder look fleshed. Female college students whose hair color was orange looked unclear in the body silhouette, bright in the face and broad in the hip and shoulder. Other students whose hair color was red, attracting the line of vision upward most strongly, looked fleshed in the upper body and broad in the face. Finally, blue made the face look dark.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 CMOS 이미지 센서용 Au 플립칩 범프와 전해 도금된 Au 기판 사이의 초음파 접합의 가능성 연구이다. 초음파 접합 조건을 최적화하기 위해서, 대기압 플라즈마 세정 후 접합 압력과 시간을 달리하여 초음파 접합 후 전단 시험을 실시하였다. 범프의 접합 강도는 접합 압력과 시간 변수에 크게 좌우되었다. Au 플립칩 범프는 상온에서 성공적으로 하부 Au 도금 기판과 접합되었으며, 최적 조건 하에서 접합 강도는 약 73 MPa이었다.

Culturing of Rat Intestinal Epithelial Cells-18 on Plasma Polymerized Ethylenediamine Films Deposited by Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition

  • Many researchers studied cell culturing on surfaces with chemical functional groups. Previously, we reported surface properties of plasma polymerized ethylenediamine (PPEDA) films deposited by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition with various plasma conditions. Surface properties of PPEDA films can be controlled by plasma power during deposition. In this work, to analyze correlation of cell adherence/proliferation with surface property, we cultured rat intestinal epithelial cells-18 on the PPEDA films deposited with various plasma powers. It was shown that as plasma power was decreased, density of cells cultured on the PPEDA film surface was increased. Our findings indicate that plasma power changed the amine density of the PPEDA film surface, resulting in density change of cells cultured on the PPEDA film surface.

Survey of Shoes Wearing Reality and Old Males Foot Types

  • This research to reveal the foot types of old males consisted of two parts. First, a questionnaire was given for 180 old men in their 60s and above who live in Busan. Second, based on this survey on the reality of shoes wearing, direct and indirect measurement were held for 200 old gentlemen. The findings are as follows: 1. Survey Results of Shoes Wearing Reality In the investigation into the reality of shoes possession and wearing, most of old males favored active casual shoes with comfortable materials (40.8%). Hardened skin (23.6%) was the greatest in foot deformation and side effects resulting from shoes wearing, while the big toe (20.1%) was most uncomfortable. The greatest requirement for comfortable shoes was shoes making feet comfortable with a good sense of wear (41.0%), followed by shoes with the soft sole to absorb shock (31.7%), shoes with diverse sizes according to shoes width (13.7%), and shoes made of soft materials in consideration of various foot shapes. 2. Results of Foot Measurement Experiments Busan's males in their 60s and above were 166.31cm (Height), 63.51kg (weight), 23.94cm (foot length), 9.75cm (foot width), and 24.26cm (instep girth). The big toe angle of old males was $11.22^{\circ}$ and the little toe angle $14.70^{\circ}$. Four foot types were classified: 1 (long big foot), 2 (small inside-developed foot), 3 (toe-tip-gathered foot), and 4 (thin flat foot).

  • 오늘날에는 신체의 시각적 표현이 다양한 범주에서 보여 지고 있고, 컴퓨터 환경이야말로 개별적인 신체의 환경을 뛰어 넘는 커뮤니케이션의 새로운 형태라 말할 수 있다. 사이버 공간에서 몸의 상호 작용의 한 분야로서 게임에서, 캐릭터의 존재와 역할로 커뮤니케이션이 이루어 질 때, 각 캐릭터의 이상적인 신체 표현은 현실을 뛰어 넘는 극적인 아름다움을 표현 한다. 본 논문에서는 미술작품에 나타난 몸의 이미지 표현 방법과 변화과정을 분석하여, 이상적 인간형의 게임캐릭터 창작에 활용할 수 있는 방법을 모색하여 보았다. 캐릭터 제작 기술의 진보는 이미 한계에 이르렀지만, 그리이스시대 이래 현재까지 확립되어 온 신체비 례에 현대적이면서 미래적인 해석을 가미하여, 개성적이고 아름다운 캐릭터 전형을 창조함에 있어서, 이상적 몸의 이미지를 갖춘 캐릭터 창작방법의 바탕을 제시하였다.

Effects of Local Heating on Whole Body Skin Temperature - Centered on the Comparison of Old Women & Female Collegians -

  • The purpose of this study was to design functional clothing based on the physical characteristics of old women. The subjects of this experiment were 5 healthy old women and 5 college women. While the subjects were exposed to the circumstances of $28{\pm}0.5^{\circ}C$ and local heating at 7 areas (chest, abdomen, back, loin, hand, thigh and instep), their skin temperature, physiological reaction and psychological reaction were determined. The conclusions about the effects of local heating are as follows : 1. Skin temperature before heating was in the order of head-neck> trunk> upper limbs> lower limbs (Group A: old subjects) and head-neck> trunk> lower limbs> upper limbs (Group B: young subjects). 2. The heating pad was attached and detached for 30 minutes each. The sharpest rise and fall were recorded at 5 minutes with the pad on and off. Both groups had great changes in the body parts near trunk. 3. With the pad on and off, both groups showed no change in body temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rate. 4. Concerning the pervasive effects of local heating on whole body skin temperature, loin heating greatly increased other body parts in Group A. In Group B, the effects were large in heating chest, abdomen, back, loin, and thigh. 5. The loin part of old women has the greatest pervasive effect of local body heating.

신발사이즈가 신발 내적환경(內的環境)에 미치는 영향(影響) (Effects of Shoe Sizes on the Inner Environment of Shoes)

  • This study aims to reveal the effects of shoe size room on the inner environment of shoes by examining the changes of footskin temperature, temperature and humidity of the shoes, and psychological responses. The following conclusions were made: 1. Skin temperature had significant differences according to shoe sizes in the inner foot parts (right/left) and the outer foot part (left). As time went, skin temperature was distributed as follows: Type A > Type C > Type B. 2. Skin temperature appeared in the following order: instep > inner foot > outer foot. 3. The temperature within the shoes had significant differences: Type A > Type C > Type B. But no significance was recognized in the humidity within the shoes: Type B > Type C > Type A. 4. Some significance was noticed in the psychological responses of size fitness and comfortableness. In size fitness, Type B was responded to be fitting, Type A little small, and Type C rather big. Moisture had similar changes according to three shoe sizes, but humid was the response as time went. Comfortableness appeared in the order of Type C > Type B > Type A.
