Voice Recognition Elevator for Handicapped People (장애인을 위한 음성인식 엘리베이터)

  • In this paper, we proposed an efficient method for implementing a voice recognition elevator. Unlike the existing ones, the proposed system is based on the bluetooth communication and smartphones equipped with the google speech recognition software, which makes it possible that the speech recognition capability can be added to the previously installed elevators. In order to improve the recognition accuracy, instead of using the result of the google recognizer, we built a web server where the user data are accumulated and they are used for recognition error correction.

  • In recent years, the smart card is wifely applied for wireless communication, tracking, transportation logistics, diagnostic monitoring, access control and security. RF-ID system is universally applicable. Passive RF-ID system consists from reader and passive tag. The reader transmits energy and simple information to a tag by wireless and the power from the reader is transformed for controller, FRAM and Bluetooth module. in this paper, an analysis and design of smart card for the transmission of the car movement data is presented.

  • In the last decades, the increasing interest in unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) for military, surveillance, and rescue applications made necessary the development of flight control theory and body structure more and more efficient and fast. In this paper, we describe the design and performance of a prototype hexarotor UAV platform featuring an inertial measurement unit(IMU) based autonomous-flying for use in bluetooth communication environments. The proposed system comprises the construction of the test hexarotor platform, the implementation of an IMU, dynamic modeling and simulation in the hexarotor helicopter. Furthermore, the hexarotor helicopter with implemented IMU is connected with a micro controller unit(ARM-cortex) board. The P-PD control algorithm was used to control the hexarotor. We used the Matlab software to help us to tune the P-PD control parameters for quick response and minimizing the fluctuation. The control simulation and experiment on the real system are implemented in the test platform, evaluated and compared against each other.

  • Our lives are more convenient by development of smart phones recently, and users want to use it also increased rapidly. But being released by a variety of such applications, the smart phones features include built-in limitations, so appcessories that combines mobile handsets and accessory is attracting attention. In this paper, we design and implement Remote Control Appcessories using Bluetooth communication, and by applying it to the infant car system, we verify the robustness of mobile terminals and system hardware, and ease of use.

  • This paper introduces a new method that controls a humanoid robot detecting a human motion using a Kinect sensor. Processing the output of a depth seneor of the Kinect sensor, we build a human stick model which represents each joint of human body. We detect a specific motion by calculating the distance and angle between joints. We send the control message to the robot using Bluetooth wireless communication.

  • 본고에서는 차세대 항공시스템의 핵심요소 중 하나인 항공기내 무선통신 (WAIC: Wireless Avionics Intra-Communication) 시스템의 연구동향과 이를 군용기내 무선통신 시스템에서 응용하는 방안에 대해 알아본다. 먼저 항공기 내 유선 통신네트워크 기술 동향을 살펴본 뒤, 항공기내 무선통신 시스템에 사용할 수 있는 무선 표준 기술로써 IEEE 802.11, Bluetooth, IEEE 802.15.4 등의 무선통신 기술을 소개한다. 이후 현재 논의되고 있는 항공기내 무선통신 시스템을 위한 주파수 대역과 트래픽 모델을 소개한다. 또한 현재 논의되고 있는 항공기내 무선통신 시스템을 군용으로 응용할 때 고려해야 하는 점을 소개한다.

  • This paper investigated the method for the output of power management IC (PMIC) for BLE beacon with energy harvesting device to be maintained constantly. The capacitor was used to store the energy supplied from energy harvesting device such as solar module and the capacitance was estimated to the optimum value according to the interval for the BLE beacon to send advertising signal.

Design and Implementation of a Microwave Motion Detector with Low Power Consumption

  • In this paper, we propose a design of microwave motion detector using X-band doppler radar sensor to minimize the power consumption. To minimize the power consumption and implement battery operated system, pulse input with 2 KHz, 4% duty cycle is exerted on the doppler radar sensor. In order to simplify the process of working with ATmega2560 microcontroller unit, Arduino compatible board is designed and implemented. Arduino is open source hardware and many library software is published as open source tools. Smartphone app is also proposed and designed as a real-time user interface of the motion detector. The SQLite database on the Android mobile operating system is used for recording raw data of motion detection for post-processing job, such as fast Fourier transform (FFT). Bluetooth interface module is implemented on the motion detection board as a wireless communication interface to the smartphone. The speed of human movement is identified by post-processing FFT.

  • 전자 출결의 방식으로 NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, RFID등의 통신 방식의 전자 출결과 생체 인식 방법의 전자 출결인 지문 인식, 홍채 인식, 얼굴 인식 등이 있다. 그러나 대부분의 전자 출결 시스템은 초기 구축 및 시스템 오류 발생에 따른 유지보수의 어려움이 존재하고, 통신 방식의 전자 출결에서는 신호의 간섭 및 감쇄로 인한 불안정한 출석 문제가 발생한다. 그리고 생체 인식방식의 전자 출결의 경우에는 고가의 장비가 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 스마트 폰 Application 및 머신 러닝 framework인 Apache Spark를 이용하여 초기 구축 단계 이후 발생하는 유지보수 비용을 최소화하고, 머신 러닝을 이용하여 얼굴 인식률을 높이는 방법을 제안한다. 또한 제안하는 시스템을 이용하는 사용자가 출결을 진행할수록 인식률이 향상되는 방법을 제안한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 NFC와 블루투스 기능을 이용한 Android 플랫폼 기반의 버스 정보 알림 애플리케이션을 설계하고 구현하였다. 이 애플리케이션은 NFC Tag read 모듈과 블루투스 통신 모듈로 구성하였으며, NFC Tag read 모듈은 NFC Tag에 저장된 버스 정류장 정보를 읽는 기능을 제공하고, 블루투스 통신 모듈은 아두이노를 이용하여 구현한 블루투스 통신장치로부터 전송받은 교내 버스의 현재 위치를 실시간으로 '버스타요' 앱에 전송받는 기능을 제공하도록 하였다. 이 앱을 통하여 교내 버스를 이용하는 학생들이 보다 편리하게 정보를 확인할 수 있도록 하였다.
