  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the characters and images of Picasso's muses, to extract the color chip from the works of Picasso, and to apply these results to fashion design. The study includes a literature review, an analysis of visual materials. The results are as follows. Fernande, who was cheerful and voluptuous, was depicted with pink-brown, a few browns, grey, black, white, and green and represents an ethnic and elegant image. Eva, a star-crossed lover, was depicted with a few browns, black, and pale-yellow and represents a gorgeous and natural image. Olga, who was jealous and sickly wife, was depicted with a few blues, browns and neutral-color and represents a classic and dandy image. Th${\acute{e}}$r${\grave{e}}$se, who was innocent and sweet, was depicted with the bright and pastel colors of red, green, violet, and yellow and of white, blue, brown, and black and represents a romantic, pretty, and casual image. Dora, who was intellectually and emotionally- challenging, was depicted with the strong colors of red, yellow, green, and blue, which are in contrast to black and also to white, grey and brown and represents a wild and dynamic image. Gilot, who was strong-willed and prideful, was depicted with the symbolic color of green, a color contrasting with black and white, grey, and pale brown and represents a clear, cool casual and modern image. Jacqueline, the self-giving and reclusive wife, was depicted with deep red, blue, green, black, white, dark brown, grey represents a formal, dandy, and chic image.

  • The purpose of this study were to see what is the color preference for college students and the meaning of color, based on color psychology. The subjects are the male and female university students in Busan and the survey is conducted in March 2009, September 2009. Analysis is based on eight kinds of colors such as red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, purple which are used in the psychological analysis of Howard & Dorothy Sun Corporate CRR (Colour reflection reading), and words representing the meaning of colors. A total of 259 questionnaires were used to analyze data and analysis was conducted by using SPSS 14.0 statistical package. First, by examining the best three colors among eight colors, the red which represents sociable and passionate leadership and a lot of energy was the first. Second, in terms of positive and negative sense, the green is stable, protected, red is passionate, strong', yellow is bright, happy and green is' clean, young. The Blues has peaceful, tranquil image', the orange is lively animation, cheerful, and the purple shows a positive meaning of beautiful, precious, often mature, loving. Third, the preferences of boys and girls to compare colors in the first preferred color, there were significant differences between boys and girls. Most boys prefer blue, while the girls like red the most. Both boys and girls look at the meaning of green color with the most positive sense and especially male students have the negative connotation about the green color than female students.

  • Black street style has made unique fashion in popular music such as Jazz, Soul, Rhythm Il Blues. Reggae, and Rap, and it is counterculture and subculture against white. Furthermore, the black street style has played a starring role in the development of white culture as well as black culture, which emerged in direct opposition to the dominant cultures practised by a fraction of fellow countrymen within the black diaspora. The objectives of this study are to examine the social chronology of the black street style and the contemporary fashion, and the influences of the black street style on white culture. The seeds of black's style were sown in the late forties, developing throughout the fifties with the arrival of black immigrants from the west Indies and its examples were zooties, hip cats 8l hipsters, modernists. Rude boy & two-tone was anti·fashion style in sixties and then rastafarians continued in seventies costume is used to convey an essential symbolic class and ethnic message. The latest black's street fashion is hip-hop dress, which is pluralistic and electric, and funk is also erratic. During its ten-year reign as an international style, it has undergone numerous shifts because it is decline of racism B-boy & flygirls toraggamuffins & bhangra style to acid Jazz. These have played a crucial part in influencing the gigh fashion and avant-grade fashion designers' work. Today's street fashion has characteristics of postmodern culture without a racism in global village. Moreover, pop music stars take an effect on the street style continuously. With the opening of a new century, the study of the street style will overcast popular fashion and suggest the direction of fashion design.

  • African-American music heavily influences a variety of musical genres, including folk music, jazz, rhythm and blues, soul, and funk music. The music derived from traditional African music with its unique syncopated rhythm using a five-note pentatonic scale, and has developed through significant influences from gospel music. African-American music has also evolved through historical social movements, such as eliminating the racial discrimination, and has been influenced by the personalities of different cities in the United States. Modern music features fusion with elements of Western music. One of the most influential and respected artists of the 20th century was Stevie Wonder, who was known as "Father of African-American music." He was an accomplished artist, winning numerous awards despite being disabled. He has become one of the most famous and respected artists worldwide. This study of Stevie Wonder's life, music, and spiritual strength, aims to highlight his significant achievements and contributions to pop music. This is a study based on an analysis of the work of Stevie Wonder and describes how elements of African-American music influences current Korean pop music and musicians.

  • Currently, whether in a domestic or international sphere, many small businesses are suffering due to COVID-19. The grim reality is that several businesses are shutting down. While the national disaster relief grant was used to contain the damages by encouraging consumer spending, it has become difficult to prevent closures of small businesses. As of September 2020, more than 20,000 stores have closed in Seoul due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There has also been an increase in the number of people with depression caused by the COVID-19 blues. This issue is not only confined to Seoul in the Republic of Korea, but is influencing all other areas affected by the pandemic. As the number of COVID-19 patients increase, the number of open stores is decreasing steadily. The analysis of the correlation coefficient of Pearson, Spearman, and Kendall suggests a negative correlation between the number of COVID-19 patients and the number of stores in business.

Factors influencing prenatal and postpartum depression in Korea: a prospective cohort study

  • Purpose: This study explored the prevalence of prenatal and postpartum depression in Korea and its influencing factors from 20 weeks of pregnancy to 12 weeks postpartum. Methods: Using a prospective cohort study design, data on women's depression and its influencing factors were collected at 20, 28, and 36 weeks of pregnancy and at 2, 6, and 12 weeks postpartum. The participants were 219 women and 181 spouses during pregnancy; and 183 mothers and 130 spouses after childbirth. Depressive symptoms were assessed by the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale and influencing factors were measured by the Postpartum Depression Predictors Inventory-Revised, parity, and spousal depression. Results: The prevalence of maternal depression was 10.5% to 21.5% before birth, and it was 22.4% to 32.8% postpartum. The prevalence slightly decreased during the prenatal period but peaked at 2 weeks postpartum. Antenatal depression was influenced by low socioeconomic status, lower self-esteem, having experienced prenatal depression, having experienced prenatal anxiety, a previous history of depression, lower social support, lower marital satisfaction, and higher life stress. The factors influencing postpartum depression were lower self-esteem, having experienced prenatal depression, having experienced prenatal anxiety, lower social support, lower marital satisfaction, and higher life stress, as well as infant temperament and maternal blues. Parity and spousal depression had no impacts. Conclusion: The prevalence and influencing factors of maternal depression changed over time. Nurses need to screen women accordingly during the perinatal period and should provide education or counseling to prevent depression and promote adjustment to parenthood.

  • This paper aims to enhance the accuracy of music genre classification for music tracks where genre information is not provided, by utilizing machine learning to classify a large amount of music data. The paper proposes collecting and preprocessing data instead of using the commonly employed GTZAN dataset in previous research for genre classification in music. To create a dataset with superior classification performance compared to the GTZAN dataset, we extract specific segments with the highest energy level of the onset. We utilize 57 features as the main characteristics of the music data used for training, including Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC). We achieved a training accuracy of 85% and a testing accuracy of 71% using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) model to classify into Classical, Jazz, Country, Disco, Soul, Rock, Metal, and Hiphop genres based on preprocessed data.

Since the contrabass is using in jazz Performances Before jimmy Blanton, playing technique was mainly played repeatedly with simply two or four Beat with Root or 5th degree of Chord Tone. In Other words, there was only root based Note along with Harmony which doesn't have Bass Solos or Melodic phrase Appeared in Bass playing. Jimmy Blanton Was the First Bass Player who changes This Traditional Concept of Jazz bass playing after New Orleans Jazz era. He was introduced variety of accompaniment Style with Various rhythmic phrase and Bass Soloing like a horn Player. We could know that His Style Continues to Such as Ray Brown, Paul chambers who has a big Name after Jimmy Blanton. I analyzed accompaniment Style and solo techniques Of Jimmy Blanton with the Song "Cotton tail and MR.JB Blues" Which He Performed with Duke Ellington. I learned a lot while I'm analyzing his Performing Style from Jimmy Blanton, such as Target Note playing, using Chord Tones and Arpeggios, Melodic Solo Style, Jazz Style Bowing Technique, Question and Answer Phrasing etc. I could notice That He Was the true Pioneer of the First Bass player In the Early Jazz days.

  • The 1900s in New Orleans, the harbor city, was indeed an era of confusion because there were various ethnic groups and races. Songs that had been sung by slaves taken from Africa, Black spiritual music, blues, British folk songs, French folk music, ballet music, Spanish dance music, and the march of military bands were mixed with Rag Time to achieve diversity. This developed the beginning of jazz. While swing jazz was most popular and loved by the public during the 20th century, the bebop preferred the small scale organization of musical instruments and developed as a form of jazz featuring the impromptu musical performances. Later, cool jazz, a new style involving the fast and complicated code progress, emerged with free jazz, which features the fundamental rupture from the tradition of the jazz. Miles Davis, who introduced the rock beat in jazz, started fusion jazz. Although jazz has been named differently depending on the era, the main attraction of jazz lies on improvisation. In other words, despite a small changes in code progress and rhythm, the most important thing the player considers is improvisation. Some famous players who lived in the same era followed the whole atmosphere but each had their own style. So, even when they did play the same song, they revealed their style in solo parts despite the same head.

  • Pat Metheny debuted in 1976 and attracted the public beyond his genre in jazz by committing experimental and various music. His 50 albums have been recognized with musicality and artistry by winning 20 Grammy Awards and being awarded a Gold Disc 3 times. Therefore, his music cannot be expressed merely with the single word 'jazz'. In basic harmonics, there are distinct chords between major chord and minor chord. For example, Ionian Scale and Lydian Scale are used in major chord and Dorian Scale, Phrygian Scale, and Aeolian Scale are used in minor chord. It is also common to use m7b5 chord in Locrian Scale. However, after analyzing Pat Metheny's scale, he made Lick using Dorian Scale in major chord or using Lydian Scale in minor chord. In Dominant chord that can use various six scales, he often used Dorian Scale or Lydian Scale surprisingly. In some measures, he made Lick using Ionian Scale and Lydian Scale. In this case, since the whole atmosphere of that measure simultaneously expresses both the bright feeling of major and the lonely feeling of minor, it arouses a very special atmosphere. In addition, he brought 12-measure pattern and made Lick not using blues scale but often using Ionian Scale, Lydian Scale, and Mixo-Lydian Scale.
