  • Through the technology of the 4th industrial revolution, agricultural machinery is becoming increasingly intelligent, and the machine is replacing the role of farmer manpower as a whole. However, safety accidents caused by careless use of agricultural machines and theft accidents due to the difficulty of keeping them are increasing every year. Because agricultural machines do not manage the history of events and accidents unlike automobiles, they are often used for crime. There is also no way to cope with the issues if there happens issues on agricultural machines. In this paper, we propose the system based on block chain which can manage the history of the agricultural machinery by registering the chassis number at the same time when purchasing the agricultural machinery. Since this system contains the history of accident and repair information about the owner's agricultural machinery, it is possible to trace back even if a theft occurs. The proposed system also allows buyers to secure transactions by providing reliable data through inquiry of this system when trading in the secondary market in the future.

  • With the growing interest in cryptocurrency such as bitcoin, the blockchain technology has attracted much attention in various applications as a distributed security platform with excellent security. However, Cryptojacking, an attack that hijack other computer resources such as CPUs, has occured due to vulnerability to the Cryptomining process. In particular, browser-based Cryptojacking is considered serious because attacks can occur only by visiting a Web site without installing it on a visitor's PC. The current Cryptojacking detection system is mostly signature-based. Signature-based detection methods have problems in that they can not detect a new Cryptomining code or a modification of existing Cryptomining code. In this paper, we propose a Cryptojacking detection solution using a dynamic analysis-based that uses a headless browser to detect unknown Cryptojacking attacks. The proposed dynamic analysis-based Cryptojacking detection system can detect new Cryptojacking site that cannot be detected in existing signature-based Cryptojacking detection system and can detect it even if it is called or obfuscated by bypassing Cryptomining code.

  • Blockchain has tamper-free, so many applications are developing to leverage tamper-free features of blockchain. MIT Media Labs proposed BlockCerts, educational certificate blockchain System, to solve problems of legacy certificate verifications. Existing educational certificate blockchain Systems are based on public blockchain such as bitcoin, Ethereum, so any entity can participate educational institute in principal. Moreover, the exisitng educational certricate blockchain system utilizes the integrity of blockchain, but the confidentiality of the educational certificate is not provided. This paper propose a digital certificate system based on private blockchain, name HyperCerts. Therefore, only trusted entity can participate in the private blockchain network, Hyperledger, as the issuer of digital certificate. Furthermore, the practical byzantine fault tolerance is used as consensus algorithm, HyperCerts reduce dramatically the latency of issuing digital certificate and required computing power. HyperCerts stores the hash value of digital certificate into the ledger, so breach of personal information by malicious entity in the private blockchain is protected.

  • With the advance of the 4th industrial revolution, Internet of Things (IoT) technology is actively being studied. In the era of the IoT, a decentralized operation is required to reduce load on servers and enable autonomous IoT data communication rather than focusing on centralized operation of being server client structures. This paper analyzes the security of a blockchain, a new form of distributed database platform that supports integrity and permanence of data. To achieve this, we divide the blockchain's major operations into a consensus process, network communication process, and key management process, and then describe possible attacks and countermeasures in each process. We also describe the attack occurred in typical cryptocurrency platforms such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.

  • Ever since the world's largest Bitcoin Echange, (Mt. Gox), was closed in March 2014 due to the series of hacking, still many other Exchages incl. recent Coinale in Korea have been attacked. Those hacking attempts never stopped and have caused significant threats to the overall industry of Crypto Currency and resulted in the loss of individual investors' asset. The DEX (Decentralized Exchange) has been proposed as a solution to fix the security problem at the Exchange, but still it is far away to resolve all issues. Therefore, this paper firstly analyzes security threats against existing Crypto Currency Exchanges and secondly derives security requirements for them. To do that it proposes a secure and distributed Crypto Currency Transaction Model through Personal Security devices as a solution. The paper also proves this new attempt by demonstrating its unique modelling; ultimately by adopting this modeling into Crypto Exchange is to avoid potential security threats.

  • Many domestic and international countries recently apply the blockchain technology to its related application fields. Not the enterprise-centered economy, the concept of the sharing economy which is controlled by individuals has been expanded. However, the development of the necessary system to realize the sharing economy in the agricultural sector has still been insufficient. Because the agricultural machinery rental business in the recent agricultural policies is managed by the government and the local government keeps and provides limited quantities and resources, its operation system has several problems. In case of high-priced agricultural machines, the machines can not be supplied adequately at the right time due to the limited quantities during the busy farming season. This paper proposes the sharing system that individual owners rent their agricultural machinery to growers using the blockchain technology. Thus, the proposed system provides the distributed method to solve agricultural machines of a lack of resources and also gives the secure service to all the growers.

  • It is true that Blockchain has been known as a core technology for cryptocurrency like bitcoin (BTC). It is caused by its rapid value rises. Now, one BTC is trading around 10,000 US dollars while it bought just less than one dollar at its first trading in May, 2010. Blockchain makes on-line transactions possible by the safe cryptocurrency swiftly based on P2P network and distributed public ledger while its on-line traffic is rapidly increasing. However, this technology has bigger potential in the fourth industrial revolution era and its application areas will be varied. The evolving intelligent information society needs to make new added value through utilizing, sharing and processing of useful digital information. Obstacles such as hacking and fraud often exist when transactions of digital properties, right transfers, etc. are done through digital network specialized with anonymity. It is expected that blockchain will be a definite solution in this regard. This paper addresses useful development directions and countermeasures for blokchain in the digital economy by analysis of its current status and issues.

  • Since the advent of blockchain and bitcoin, decentralization has been accelerating around the world as a public blockchain ethereum with smartcontract has begun. Developers can use Ethereum's blockchain development platform to develop "distributed applications" (DApp) running on a decentralized P2P network, and various types of devices from IoT to mobile can participate in a block-chain distributed environment have. Using Ethereum's blockchain development platform, developers can develop "Decentralized Application (DApp)" that run on a decentralized P2P network and various types of devices from IOT to mobile can participate in distributed blockchain environments. There are many ways to interact with the blockchain and the smart contract, but users tend to prefer the mobile methods due to their convenience and accessibility advantages. Therefore, the author developed an Android based voting DApp and researched related issues. Since the current development methods of DApp are not adequately researched and standardized, efficient methods for developing user-friendly DApp were studied. Because DApp has to spend a certain amount of fees to interact with blockchain, it has intensively investigated the gas problem of Smart Contract code and the security problem of code, and author would like to introduce it in this paper.
