In this paper, we propose a path loss model with the multiple antennas using diversity effect. Currently wireless communication systems use the multiple antennas in order to improve the channel capacity or diversity gain. However, until recently, many researches on path loss model only consider geographical environment between the transmitter and the receiver. There is no study about path loss model considering diversity effect. Nowaday wireless communication use the multiple antennas and we in common find examples using diversity scheme that is method in order to enhance a channel capacity. Moreover we anticipate that it work harder in future researches. But in this communication system, path loss model isn't established that predict strength of received signal. So, in order to predict strength of received signal, we take changing SNR by diversity gain. When exceeding the number of antennas of receiver are 7 in proposed model, diversity effect is saturated. Therefore we consider the number of antenna of receiver until 10. We find RMSE between proposed model and value of calculation is 1. We calculate the diversity gain by conventional BER curve. Proposed model can predict loss of received signal in system using multiple antennas.

Considering a nonlinear high power amplifier(HPA) and a predistorter, we have designed a four-dimensional 8-ary phase shift keying trellis-coded modulation(4D-8PSK-TCM) system, which is recommended for X-band satellite communications. Subsequently, we have evaluated and analyzed the spectrum, constellation characteristics, and BER performance of the system. In satellite communications, owing to the limited power, nonlinear characteristics that determine the operating point of the HPA must be analyzed because the HPA consumes high power. We herein report the design of the 4D-8PSK-TCM system, with efficiencies of 2 and 2.25 bits/channel-symbol. The simulation results confirmed that a 0.35 roll-off value is effective, considering the low peak-to-average power ratio(PAPR) characteristic and the narrow occupation bandwidth of the spectrum. It also confirmed that approximately 15~20 dB of output backoff(OBO) value is required at the HPA when the predistorter is not used, and approximately 1 dB of the OBO value is required when the predistorter is used.
In this paper, we propose a concatenated diversity system to assure the data transmission reliability between flight type air nodes which move according to their atypical orbit, then its performance is analyzed using computer simulation and it is designed with hdl. The proposed system cannot only improve a bandwidth efficient and coding gain from diversity TCM code but also the reliability of data transmission is high. From the computer simulation result about bit error rate(BER) of the proposed system, we confirm that its BER performance is about 11dB greater than TCM code at $10^{-2}$ and about 11dB greater than space time block code at $10^{-3}$ which has a full diversity gain. In addition, when we compare its BER performance with space time trellis code which has both a diversity gain and a coding gain, the performance of the proposed system is greater than about 1.5dB at $10^{-5}$. Lastly, after designing the proposed system with HDL, we can confirm that the operation result is correct.
This paper analyses the performance of either the minimum variance distortionless response (MVDR) or the recursive least square (RLS) beamformer structured on the systolic array. Provided that the snapshot vector including the desired user's signal and the interferences with the noise is received at the array antenna. In order to improve the quality of received signal, MVDR or RLS algorithm can be utilized to update the beamformer weights recursively. Furthermore to increase the channel capacity, by the usage of the above schemes, the effect of the spatial filtering can be obtained which constructively combining multipath components corresponding to the desired user whereas the multiple access interferences (MAI) is nulled out on spatial domain. This paper introduces the MVDR and RLS beamformer structured on systolic array conducting the spatial filtering, and its performance under the multipath fading channel in the presence of multiple access interferences will be analyzed. To show the superior spatial filtering performances of the proposed scheme employing the systolic way structured beamformer, the computer simulations are carried out. And the validity of practical deployment of the proposed scheme will be confirmed throughout showing the BER behaviors and the beampatterns.

In this paper, we investigate achieving the full diversity order and power gains in case of using OSTBCs and quasi-OSBCs in the x channel system with interference alignment with more than 2 antennas at each terminal. A slight degradation is remarked in the case of quasi-OSTBCs. In terms of receiver structure, we show that due to the favorable structure of the channel matrices, the simple zero-forcing receiver achieves the full diversity order, while the interference cancellation receiver leads to degradations in performance. As compared to the conventional scheme, simulation results demonstrate that our proposed schemes achieve 14dB and 16.5dB of gain at a target bit error rate (BER) of 10-4 in the case of OSTBCs with 3 and 4 antennas at each terminal, respectively, while achieving the same spectral efficiency. Also, a gain of 10dB is achieved at the same target BER in the case of quasi-OSTBC with 4 antennas at each terminal.

Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) is a promising candidate for 5G networks. NOMA achieves superior spectral efficiency than conventional orthogonal multiple access (OMA), as in NOMA multiple users uses the same time and frequency resources. Multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) is one another promising technique that can enhance system performance. In this paper we present a spectral and energy efficient multiple antenna based NOMA scheme, known as spatially modulated NOMA. In the proposed scheme the cell edge users are multiplexed in spatial domain, which means the information to cell edge users is conveyed using the transmit antenna indices. In NOMA the performance of cell edge users are deeply effected as it treats signals of others as noise. The proposed scheme achieves superior spectral efficiency than the conventional NOMA. The number of decoding steps involved in decoding NOMA signal reduces by one as cell edge user is multiplexed in spatial domain. The proposed scheme is more energy efficient as compare to conventional NOMA. All of the three gains high spectral, energy efficiency and one step reduction in decoding comes at cost of multiple transmit antennas at base station.
Lane markings such as edgelines, centerlines, and lines that delineate lanes generally provide drivers with the various information for safe driving. Drivers can easily recognize the lane markings through the color differences between the markings and road surfaces during the daytime. However, it is a bit difficult for drivers to perceive them during the nighttime due to the lack of artificial lights. Although the glass beads with the 1.5-refractive index have been used to improve the visibility of the lane markings during the nighttime, it is still difficult for drivers to recognize the lane markings properly, especially during the rainy nighttime, which may often lead to traffic accidents. To improve the retroreflectivity and visibility of the lane markings during the rainy nighttime, the high refractive beads with the 2.4-refractive index are essentially required, but they do not work appropriately during the dry nighttime. Thus, the mixed materials with the 1.5, 1.9, and 2.4-refractive beads should be considered for the satisfactory implementation of the lane markings. This study reveals the best mixing rates of the beads by conducting benefit-cost analysis under various weather conditions in Korea. The analysis results show that the lane markings with the 100% of the 2.4-refractive beads provide the highest visibility of lane markings regardless of the roadway conditions, but the benefit-cost (B/C) ratio of the bead mixture is merely 0.46. The best mixing rate of the beads, from the highest B/C ratio viewpoint, was identified as the mixture with a 80% of 1.5-refractive beads and a 20% of 2.4-refractive beads. Some limitations and future research agenda have also been discussed.
This study develops a technique training program to enhance the completion of Kolman, the high air flight technique, and applies it to two national athletes of the horizontal bar, one of the gymnastic events, for eight weeks. After that, their improvement was measured through 3D motion analysis to help them elevate their performance. The training program includes swing, hand release, twist, and bar hold, and its implementation produced the results stated below. They were made to practice the motion in the following way. After the hand-standing of giant swing which initiates the motion, they lift their body upward a little bit more. Next, they take their body down almost like a vertical descent and make a deep tap swing. Instead of doing the tap swing which widens the flection of hip and shoulder joints, while body revolution is more emphasized in particular, they release the bar as raising the centroid of their body sufficiently. During the flight, they try to narrow every joint in their body. As a result, the bar's elasticity becomes greatly increased, and since the backing rate of their body gets higher, the centripetal force of the swing is improved that they can release the bar in the higher position. In addition, because they can erect their body faster during the flight, they can perform comfortable twist and revolution in the air. They can also adjust the direction of the flight easily without too much concern for the proper timing of hand release as they rise. Thereby, they can not only maintain adequate distance from the bar for the bar hold but also ensure enough distance for body revolution and twist.
This study was conducted to survey of the musculoskeletal disorders of radiological technologists and prevalence rate survey tool of musculoskeletal symptoms targeting the radiological technologists working currently in hospitals or clinics. For this study, survey was conducted from July 10th, 2011 to July 31st, 2011 for about 20 days with subject of radiological technologists in private clinics, hospitals, general hospitals and University hospitals. The main results of this study are as follows : First, frequency analysis on presence of musculoskeletal symptoms in each part of body showed that neck area was 22.5 %, shoulder area was 33.1 %, arm / elbow area was 8.3 %, hand / wrist / finger area was 15.5 %, waist area was 32.4 %, leg / foot area was 16.9% (p<0.05). Second, the results from summarizing the descriptive statistics of job stress, psychosocial stress and fatigue showed that the average of job stress was 2.48 out of Likert 4 points scale, the average of psychosocial stress was 2.27 out of Likert 4 points scale. Job stress was a little bit higher than the psychosocial stress. In case of fatigue, the average was 4.57 out of Likert 7 points scale and it was a slightly higher than 'normal' (p<0.05). In conclusion, we hope this study will be helpful to systematically and efficiently manage the resources as the basic material upon deploying the preventive measures about the musculoskeletal disorders of radiological technologists in the future.
Okamoto cavity was modified to generate high power (2.45 GHz, 2 kW) He, N2 and Ar plasmas with WR-340 waveguide. Many factors which influence to the plasma generation were optimized and investigated for the spectroscopic properties of the He plasma generated. Some of the important factors are the diameter of the inner conductor, the distance between the inner and outer conductors and the distance between the tip of the inner conductor and the torch. After optimization for the He, two torches (a commercial mini torch for ICP and a tangential flow torch made locally) were compared and showed similar results for the helium plasma gas flow of 25 L/min~30 L/min. A tall torch (extended) was used to block the air in-flow and reduced the background intensity at 340 nm region (NH band). Emission intensity was measured for determination of halogen element in the aqueous solution with power and carrier gas flow rate. Electron number density and the excitation temperature were on the order of $3.67{\times}10^{11}/cm^3$ and 4,350 K, respectively. These values are similar or a bit smaller than other microwave plasmas. It has been possible to analyze aqueous samples. The detection limit for Cl (479.45 nm) was obtained to be 116 mg/L and needs analytical optimization for the better performance.
