In this paper, the power spectral density(PSD) for Multilevel Minimum Shift Keyed signal with modulation index h = 1/2 (M-ary MSK) are derived using the mathematical method of the Markov Chain model. At first, according to an essential requirement of the phase continuity characteristics of MSK signals, a complete model of the whole process of signal generation is built. Then, the derivations for autocorrelation functions are carried out precisely. After that, we verified the correctness and accuracy of the theoretical derivation by comparing the derived results with numerical simulations using MATLAB. We also divided the spectrum into four components according to the derivation. By analyzing these figures in the graphic, each component determines the characteristics of the spectrum. It is vital for enhanced spectral characteristics. To more visually represent the energy concentration of the main flap and the roll-down speed of the side flap, the specific out-of-band power of M-ary MSK is given. OMLCD(Optimum Maximum Likelihood Coherent Detection) of M-ary MSK is adopted to compare the signal received with prepared in advance in a code element T to go for the best. And M-ary MSK BER(Bit Error Rate) is compared with the same ary PSK (Phase Shift Keying) with M=2,4,6,8. The results show the detection method could improve performance by increasing the length of L(memory inherent) in the phase continuity.

Nowadays, the Internet of Things (IoT) is adopted to enable effective and smooth communication among different networks. In some specific application, the Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) are used in IoT to gather peculiar data without the interaction of human. The WSNs are self-organizing in nature, so it mostly prefer multi-hop data forwarding. Thus to achieve better communication, a cross-layer routing strategy is preferred. In the cross-layer routing strategy, the routing processed through three layers such as transport, data link, and physical layer. Even though effective communication achieved via a cross-layer routing strategy, energy is another constraint in WSN assisted IoT. Cluster-based communication is one of the most used strategies for effectively preserving energy in WSN routing. This paper proposes a Bio-inspired cross-layer routing (BiHCLR) protocol to achieve effective and energy preserving routing in WSN assisted IoT. Initially, the deployed sensor nodes are arranged in the form of a grid as per the grid-based routing strategy. Then to enable energy preservation in BiHCLR, the fuzzy logic approach is executed to select the Cluster Head (CH) for every cell of the grid. Then a hybrid bio-inspired algorithm is used to select the routing path. The hybrid algorithm combines moth search and Salp Swarm optimization techniques. The performance of the proposed BiHCLR is evaluated based on the Quality of Service (QoS) analysis in terms of Packet loss, error bit rate, transmission delay, lifetime of network, buffer occupancy and throughput. Then these performances are validated based on comparison with conventional routing strategies like Fuzzy-rule-based Energy Efficient Clustering and Immune-Inspired Routing (FEEC-IIR), Neuro-Fuzzy- Emperor Penguin Optimization (NF-EPO), Fuzzy Reinforcement Learning-based Data Gathering (FRLDG) and Hierarchical Energy Efficient Data gathering (HEED). Ultimately the performance of the proposed BiHCLR outperforms all other conventional techniques.
This paper analytically evaluates the FEC(Forward Error Correction) symbol size's effect on the performance and energy consumption of 802.11 protocol with the block FEC algorithm over WSN(Wireless Sensor Network). Since the basic recovery unit of block FEC algorithms is symbols not bits, the FEC symbol size affects the packet correction rate even with the same amount of FEC check bits over a given WSN channel. Precisely, when the same amount of FEC check bits are allocated, the small-size symbols are effective over channels with frequent short bursts of propagation errors while the large ones are good at remedying the long rare bursts. To estimate the effect of the FEC symbol site, the paper at first models the WSN channel with Gilbert model based on real packet traces collected over TIP50CM sensor nodes and measures the energy consumed for encoding and decoding the RS (Reed-Solomon) code with various symbol sizes. Based on the WSN channel model and each RS code's energy expenditure, it analytically calculates the transmission efficiency and power consumption of 802.11 equipped with RS code. The computational analysis combined with real experimental data shows that the RS symbol size makes a difference of up to 4.2% in the transmission efficiency and 35% in energy consumption even with the same amount of FEC check bits.
Accuracy and precision of ID methods for different spike isotopes of 76Se, 77Se, and 78Se were compared for the analysis of Selenium using quadrupole ICP/MS equipped with Octopole reaction cell. From the analysis of Se inorganic standard solution, all of three spikes showed less than 1 % error and 1 % RSD for both short-term (a day) and long-term (several months) periods. They showed similar results with each other and 78Se showed was a bit better than 76Se and 77Se. However, different spikes showed different results when NIST SRM 1568a and SRM 2967 were analyzed because of the several interferences on the m/z measured and calculated. Interferences due to the generation of SeH from ORC was considered as well as As and Br in matrix. The results showed similar accuracy and precisions against SRM 1568a, which has a simple background matrix, for all three spikes and the recovery rate was about 80% with steadiness. The %RSD was a bit higher than inorganic standard (1.8 %, 8.6 %, and 6.3 % for 78Se, 76Se and 77Se, respectively) but low enough to conclude that this experiment is reliable. However, mussel tissue has a complex matrix showed inaccurate results in case of 78Se isotope spike (over 100 % RSD). 76Se and 77Se showd relatively good results of around 98.6 % and 104.2 % recovery rate. The errors were less than 5 % but the precision was a bit higher value of 15 % RSD. This clearly shows that Br interferences are so large that a simple mathematical calibration is not enough for a complex-matrixed sample. In conclusion, all three spikes show similar results when matrix is simple. However, 78Se should be avoided when large amount of Br exists in matrix. Either 76Se or 77Se would provide accurate results.
This paper proposes a numerical analysis to prove that the performance of the differential phase detections (DPDs) with the decision feedback, such as the decision feedback DPD (DF-DPD) and the DPD with recursively generated phase reference (DPD-RGPR), approach the performance of the coherent detection with differential decoding. The conventional differential phase detection for M-ary DPSK can make the receiver architecture simple, while it can make the bit-error rate (BER) performance poor because of the previous noisy phase as a reference phase. To improve the BER performance of the conventional differential detection, multiple symbol differential detection methods, including DF-DPD and DPD-RGPR, have been proposed. However, the studies on the analysis and on the comparison of these methods have been little performed. Then, this paper mathematically intends to analyze and compare the performance of the DPDs with the decision feedback. The analysis results show that the DPDs with the decision feedback can have the performance equal to that of the coherent detection with differential decoding and be available for the noncoherent detection in the improved performance. Considering the hardware complexity, the DPD RGPR with the simple detection process by using the recursively generated phase reference can be more simply implemented than the DF-DPD based on the architecture whose complexity increases according to the increasing detection length.
This paper describes the performance evaluation and analysis of Wireless Local Area Network (W-LAN) in the 5 GHz ISM-band in compliance with IEEE 802.11a. At present, most W-LAN products are based on 2.4 GHz band, but low speed (11Mbps) has the limitation to serve systems demanding high-speed data transmission. To solve this problem, it is necessary to design next generation W-LAN system with 54Mbps in the 5GHz. It is sure that implementation of next generation W-LAN will bring competitive advantages. In particular, it will support telecommunications for high-speed mobile environments as well as for fixed places such as a school zone, a lecture room, a hospital and other premises. A few simulation methods are applied to more accurate and reliable performance analysis of next generation W-LAN. To verify if continuous data service is supported for a high-speed mobile notebook, multi-path fading channels between wireless Access Point (AP) and wireless Network Interface Card (NIC) are modeled. In addition, low interference is analyzed via convolutional codes and Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (OFDM). Also, to obtain reliable Bit Error Rate (BER), a single tap Least Mean Square (LMS) equalizer is applied. Given the above simulation, next generation W-LAN is an ideal solution for continuous data transmission in high-speed mobile environments.

This paper drives the exact expression of bit error rate(BER) performance for successive interference cancellation(SIC) algorithm against multipath interference components in a high-speed downlink packet access(HSDPA) system of W-CDMA downlink and the BER performance is evaluated by numerical analysis. Numerical results showed that the average BER performance is rapidly saturated in terms of increasing the number of multipath and is revealed significant improvement for improvement Processing gain(PG). For example, the average BER Performance of the SIC algorithm is superior to the performance of conventional scheme by more than 7dB and 1.4dB for processing gain PG=54 and 128 under the two-path channel and average BER=$1.0{\times}10^{-3}$, respectively. This results also indicated that the average BER saturation is occurred at nearly one weight factor which is assigned to pilot and data channels. Likewise, the average BER performance is greatly degraded due to increasing the interference power in proportional to the number of multipath with increasing multicode K. And the smaller multipath fading channel gain is arrived later, the more the average BER performance is improved. The results of performance analysis in this paper indicated that the multipath interference cancellation is required to improve the BER performance in a HSDPA system under multicode for high-speed packet transmission, low spreading factor, and multipath fading channel.

This paper drives the exact expression of bit error rate(BER) performance for groupwise iterative-multipath interference cancellation(GWI-MPIC) algorithm for cancelling multipath interference components in a coherent high-speed downlink packet access(HSDPA) system of W-CDMA downlink and the BER performance is evaluated by numerical analysis. The performance of GWI-MPIC is compared to the successive interference cancellation(SIC) algorithm for multipath components. From numerical results, the optimal average BER performance of weighting factor ${\beta}$$\_$h/ for interference cancellation is obtained at ‘${\beta}$$\_$h/=0.8’ and then this weighting factor is hereafter applied to other performance analysis. Numerical results showed that the average BER performance of GWI-MPIC algorithm is rapidly degraded at multipath L=6, but is revealed the good performance than that of SIC algorithm in terms of increasing the number of multipath. This results also indicated that the average BER performance is greatly degraded due to increasing interference power more than multicode K=8. The average BER performance of the proposed algorithm is superior to the performance of SIC algorithm about 3 ㏈ for processing gain PG=128 at multipath L=2 and Average BER=1.0${\times}$10$\^$-5/. And also, the results produced good performance in case of linear monotonic reduction of multipath fading channel gain than that of constant channel gain variation, because multipath fading channel gain which is arrived later is small.

It is very difficult to achieve sufficient data rate and required quality of service due to the time-varying nature of the radio channel and various jammers such as path loss, delay, Doppler, shadowing and interference. Especially, the propagation path between the transmitting antenna and the tracking antenna mounted on the fuselage during the test and evaluation of the projectile system considered in this paper is based on the rapid movement of the projectile, the interference due to multipath fading due to the terrain, The propagation path may be blocked. In order to effectively improve the multipath fading occurring in the wireless communication system, a diversity combiner technique is required. In this paper, to derive the design and improvement schemes for the space diversity combiner technique among the diversity combiner schemes, the BER performance of maximum ratio combining (MRC) and selection combining (SC) In an adaptive SC / MRC diversity combiner that operates with MRC when it is lower than the specified threshold criterion when comparing the SNR between two signals received from the channel and operates with SC at high and combines the two received signals The BER performance of the system was compared and analyzed.

An adaptive array antennal and a CCI canceller have been considered as techniques for cancelling Multi-User Interference(MUI) in Direct Sequence Code Division Multiple Access(DS-CDMA) system. These techniques have different problems respectively in the process of cancelling MUI as the number of users increases. For that reason, the scheme which can cancel MUI effectively by compensating for the problems of each of the techniques has been required. For the scheme, the technique to connect an adaptive array antenna and a CoChannel Interference(CCI) canceller in cascade form has been studied. In the existing study about the cascade connection method, the effect of cancelling MUI about two interference signals is analyzed, but the analysis for the quantitative BER(Bit Error Rate) improvement according to the number of users is not considered. Therefore, in this paper, we have analyzed the degree of BER performance improvement quantitatively according to the number of users by introducing the receiving system, which connects an adaptive array antenna and a CCI canceller to a DS-CDMA system in cascade form. For the method of analyzing the performance, we have performed the theoretical analysis and the simulation, considering the case of adopting only an adaptive array antenna and of cascade connection respectively, and having compared and analyzed the results. From the results, it is confirmed that in the case of adopting only an adaptive array antenna, the problems occur in the process of cancelling MUI according to the number of users and the receiving direction of interference signals, and can be compensated by the cascade connection method. In conclusion, we have known that MUI is cancelled effectively by using the cascade connection method, and the much better BER performance improvement is obtained.
