Purpose: This study investigated the salt and sodium content of lunch meals served at foodservice center for children in Gyeongsan-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Methods: Five foodservice centers for children registered at Center for Children's Foodservice Management were investigated for salt and sodium content and salt content contributing rate per meal. Results: Average salt content of every meal was $1.78{\pm}0.54g$, and average sodium content was $680.99{\pm}175.97mg$. The 98 of 100 meals served in 5 foodservice centers for children exceeded the dietary reference intakes for Koreans' recommendation for adequate intake of sodium per meal of 333 mg. The highest sodium content was 1,369.85 mg. Samples from lunch meals were classified into 14 food items and investigated for one serving size, salinity, salt and sodium content. Total average salinity was 0.31%, kimchi (0.49%), followed by soup (0.45%), hard-boiled foods (0.39%), stir-fried foods (0.39%), and fresh-vegetables (0.32%). Total average salt content was 0.39 g, the most salty dishes were one-dish rice noodles, followed by soup (0.65 g), hard-boiled foods (0.49 g), stir-fried foods (0.48 g), and broth stew (0.43 g). Samples from lunch meals were classified into 6 menu groups, including cooked rice, one-dish rice noodles, soup stew, main dish, side dish, and kimchi. Contributing rate for total average salt content was high in one-dish rice noodles (48.97%), soup stew (38.47%), main dish (27.28%), side dish (21.02%), kimchi (18.56%), and cooked rice (3.95%). Conclusion: These results can be useful for reducing total dietary sodium content to less than 333 mg in children who are provided lunch meals at foodservice centers. To achieve this goal, development of low-sodium recipes, and nutrition education for foodservice employees is required.
Objectives : The antidepressant effect of the subchronic administration of the methanolic extract of wild ginseng(WG) was investigated compared with that of cultivated ginseng(CG, panax ginseng) extract. Methods : To assess the antidepressant effect of the ginseng extracts, tail suspension test(TST) was executed in mice after daily administration of WG or CG extract for five consecutive days. Results : The WG extract at daily dose of 600mg/kg significantly reduced the total duration of immobility in the TST, whereas there was no significant reduction at daily dose of 300mg/kg WG and 600mg/kg CG. There were no individual differences between experimental groups in open field test (OFT) to evaluate psychostimulant effects of WG or CG extract. In the high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) analysis of the extracts, it was found that WG included four times more ginsenoside Rg1 and Re, three times more Rf, and six times more Rb1 and Rc than CG. Conclusions : It is suggested that WG extract has stronger antidepressant effect than CG extract, which means it includes more antidepressant compounds than CG.
Multi-view video is obtained by capturing one three-dimensional scene with many cameras at different positions. The computational complexity of multi view video coding increases in proportion to the number of cameras. To reduce computational complexity and maintain the image quality, improved prediction structure and motion estimation method is proposed in this paper. The proposed prediction structure exploits an average distance between the current picture and its reference pictures. The proposed prediction structure divides every GOP into several groups to decide the maximum index of hierarchical B layer and the number of pictures of each B layer. And the proposed motion estimation method uses a hierarchical search strategy. This strategy method consists of modified diamond search pattern, progressive diamond search pattern and modified raster search pattern. Experiment results show that the complexity reduction of the proposed prediction structure and motion estimation method over JMVC (Joint Multiview Video Coding) reference model using hierarchical B pictures of Fraunhofer-HHI and TZ search method can be up to 40~70% while maintaining similar video quality and bit rates.

The advent of malicious code has increased exponentially due to the spread of malicious code generation tools in accordance with the development of the network, but there is a limit to the response through existing malicious code detection methods. According to this situation, a machine learning-based malicious code detection method is evolving, and in this paper, the feature of data is extracted from the PE header for machine-learning-based malicious code detection, and then it is used to automate the malware through autoencoder. Research on how to extract the indicated features and feature importance. In this paper, 549 features composed of information such as DLL/API that can be identified from PE files that are commonly used in malware analysis are extracted, and autoencoder is used through the extracted features to improve the performance of malware detection in machine learning. It was proved to be successful in providing excellent accuracy and reducing the processing time by 2 times by effectively extracting the features of the data by compressively storing the data. The test results have been shown to be useful for classifying malware groups, and in the future, a classifier such as SVM will be introduced to continue research for more accurate malware detection.

The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the bioequivalence of two nizatidine capsules, Axid (Lilly Korea Pharm. Co., Ltd.) and Nex (Bi-nex Pharm. Co., Ltd.), according to the guidelines of Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA). The nizatidine release from the two nizatidine capsules in vitro was tested using KP Apparatus method with various dissolution media (pH 1.2, 4.0, 6.8 buffer solutions and water). The dissolution prefers of two nizatidine capsules were very similar at all dissolution media. Twenty four normal male volunteers were divided into two groups with a randomized 22 crossover study. After two capsules (300 mg nizatidine) were orally administrated, blood was taken and the concentrations of nizatidine in serum were determined using HPLC with UV detector. The pharmacokinetic parameters such as $AUC_t$, $C_{max}$ and $T_{max}$ were determined. The result showed that the differences in $AUC_t$, $C_{max}$ and $T_{max}$ between two nizatidine capsules based on the Axid were -6.16%, -8.26% and -1.82%, respectively. There were no sequence effects between two capsules in these parameter. The 90% confidence intervals using logarithmically transformed data were within the acceptance range of log(0.8) to log(125)(e.g., $log(0.91){\sim}log(0.97)$ and $log(0.85) {\sim}log(0.99)$ for $AUC_t$ and $C_{max}$ respectively), indicting that Nex capsule is bioequivalent to Axid capsule.
Background: Electrical impedance tomography (EIT) is a new non-invasive, mobile screening method which does not use ionizing radiation to the human breast; allows conducting quantitative assessment of the images besides the visual interpretation. The aim of this study was to correlate the quantitative assessment and visual interpretation of breast electrical impedance tomographs and associated factors. Materials and Methods: One hundred and fifty mammography patients above 40 years and undergoing EIT were chosen using convenient sampling. Visual interpretation of the images was carried out by a radiologist with minimum of three years experience using the breast imaging - electrical impedance (BI-EIM) classification for detection of abnormalities. A set of thirty blinded EIT images were reinterpreted to determine the intra-rater reliability using kappa. Quantitative assessment was by comparison of the breast average electric conductivity with the norm and correlations with visual interpretation of the images were determined using Chi-square. One-way ANOVA was used to compare the mean electrical conductivity between groups and t-test was used for comparisons with pre-existing Caucasians statistics. Independent t-tests were applied to compare the mean electrical conductivity of women with factors like exogenous hormone use and family history of breast cancer. Results: The mean electrical conductivity of Malaysian women was significantly lower than that of Caucasians (p<0.05). Quantitative assessment of electrical impedance tomography was significantly related with visual interpretation of images of the breast (p<0.05). Conclusions: Quantitative assessment of electrical impedance tomography images was significantly related with visual interpretation.

Objective: To explore the application of multiplex nested methylated specific polymerase chain reaction (PCR) in the early diagnosis of epithelial ovarian carcinoma (EOC). Materials and Methods: Serum and fresh tissue samples were collected from 114 EOC patients. RUNX3, TFPI2 and OPCML served as target genes. Methylation levels of tissues were assessed by multiplex nested methylated specific PCR, the results being compared with those for carcinoma antigen 125 (CA125). Results: The serum free deoxyribose nucleic acid (DNA) methylation spectrum of EOC patients was completely contained in the DNA spectrum of cancer tissues, providing an accurate reflection of tumor DNA methylation conditions. Serum levels of CA125 and free DNA methylation in the EOC group were evidently higher than those in benign lesion and control groups (p<0.05). Patients with early EOC had markedly lower serum CA125 than those with advanced EOC (p<0.05), but there was no significant difference in free DNA methylation (p>0.05). The sensitivity, specificity and positive predicative value (PPV) of multiplex nested methylated specific PCR were significantly higher for detection of all patients and those with early EOC than those for CA125 (p<0.05). In the detection of patients with advanced EOC, the PPV of CA125 detection was obviously lower than that of multiplex nested methylated specific PCR (p>0.05), but there was no significant difference in sensitivity (p>0.05). Conclusions: Serum free DNA methylation can be used as a biological marker for EOC and multiplex nested methylated specific PCR should be considered for early diagnosis since it can accurately determine tumor methylation conditions.
