PSRC 합성기둥의 반복가력 실험 (Cyclic Loading Tests for Prefabricated Composite Columns Using Steel Angle and Reinforcing Bar)

  • PSRC 기둥은 앵글을 콘크리트에 매입시킨 기둥으로, 단면의 외곽 코너에 배치되는 앵글이 기둥의 휨-압축에 저항한다. 본 연구에서는 KBC 2009에 따라 압축력을 가한 기둥에 대하여 횡방향 반복가력 실험을 통하여 내진성능을 검증하였다. 기둥 종류, 연속후프근 적용, 앵글에 스터드 적용을 실험 변수로 고려하였으며, 2/3 스케일을 갖는 한 개의 SRC 합성기둥과 세 개의 PSRC 합성기둥을 실험하였다. 실험결과, KBC 2009로 예측한 PSRC 합성기둥의 하중재하능력은 실험결과와 잘 일치하였으며, 변형능력과 에너지 소산에 있어서 우수한 성능을 보여주었다. PSRC 합성기둥은 반복하중으로 인한 콘크리트 피복 탈락 이후, 앵글 및 주철근의 좌굴에 의해 실험체의 하중재하능력이 감소하였다. 특히, 연속후프근을 적용한 PSRC 합성기둥은 앵글의 조기 국부좌굴이 억제되어 기존 PSRC 합성기둥에 비해 연성능력이 향상되었다.

진바지의 착용 후 부위별 피로도에 관한 연구 (Fatigue Phenomenon of Mechanical Properties in Jean Slacks by the after Wearing)

  • This study was conducted to examine the changes of the mechanical properties of the position in jean slacks during the wear, previously used for the wearing test, which were subjected to repeated tensile-shearing deformation using a simulated fatigue tester has been investigated and compared, by calculating both mechanical properties and hand value(HV) of these fabrics with KES-F system and the by obtaining the THV through these calculated properties. The results are as follows. 1. The fatigue phenomenon of mechanical properties was the LT, 2H B, 2HBS, MMD, SMD, RC values increased, elasticity values of tensile, bending and shearing properties, such as B, G and compression properties LC, WC were reduced. It was shown, then, that those fabrics lost their elasticity and became flexible and soft with the increase of fatigue. 2. The hand value and THV; except anterior knee from all part of KOSHI, NUMERI, FUKURAMI was decreased. 3. The fatigue phenomenon of hand value was different on the position of clothing; on the position of hip, rate of B, G smaller than other parts and KOSHI was decreased, on the part of anterior thigh was FUKURAMI was increased, on the anterior knee RC, NUMERI, THV was increased, on the posterior knee was 2HB, 2HG, 2HGS showed increasedgreater than any other part and on the hem of back, MMD was increased, but NUMERI was decreased. 4. The changing process of mechanical properties in the simulation testing by the fatigue tester has similar tendency to that of the wearing tester. It is concluded that this testing method is useful to predict the fatigue phenomena of fabrics caused by wearing.

Deflections, stresses and free vibration studies of FG-CNT reinforced sandwich plates resting on Pasternak elastic foundation

  • The present study covenants with the static and free vibration behavior of nanocomposite sandwich plates reinforced by carbon nanotubes resting on Pasternak elastic foundation. Uniformly distributed (UD-CNT) and functionally graded (FG-CNT) distributions of aligned carbon nanotube are considered for two types of sandwich plates such as, the face sheet reinforced and homogeneous core and the homogeneous face sheet and reinforced core. Based on the first shear deformation theory (FSDT), the Hamilton's principle is employed to derive the mathematical models. The obtained solutions are numerically validated by comparison with some available cases in the literature. The elastic foundation model is assumed as one parameter Winkler - Pasternak foundation. A parametric study is conducted to study the effects of aspect ratios, foundation parameters, carbon nanotube volume fraction, types of reinforcement, core-to-face sheet thickness ratio and types of loads acting on the bending and free vibration analyses. It is explicitly shown that the (FG-CNT) face sheet reinforced sandwich plate has a high resistance against deflections compared to other types of reinforcement. It is also revealed that the reduction in the dimensionless natural frequency is most pronounced in core reinforced sandwich plate.

Ground response of a gob-side gateroad suffering mining-induced stress in an extra thick coal seam

  • This paper presents an investigation of the ground response of a gob-side gateroad suffering mining stress induced by a 21 m-thick coal seam extraction. A field observation, including entry convergence and stress changes monitoring, was first conducted in the tailgate 8209. The observation results of entry convergence showed that, during the adjacent panel 8210 retreating period, the deformation of the gob-side gateroad experienced a continuous increase stage, subsequently, an accelerating increase stage, and finally, a slow increase stage. However, strong ground response, including roof bending deflection, rib extrusion and floor heave, occurred during the current panel 8209 retreating period, and the maximum floor heave reached 1530 mm. The stress changes within coal mass of the two ribs demonstrated that the gateroad was always located in the stress concentrated area, which responsible for the strong response of the tailgate 8209. Subsequently, a hydraulic fracture technique was proposed to pre-fracture the two hard roofs above the tailgate 8209, thus decreasing the induced disturbance on the tailgate. The validity of the above roof treatment was verified via field application. The finding of this study could be a reference for understanding the stability control of the gob-side gateroad in extra thick coal seams mining.

4절점 준적합 쉘 요소를 이용한 점진기능재료(FGM) 판과 쉘의 구조적 안정 및 진동 연구 (A Study of Structural Stability and Dynamics for Functionally Graded Material Plates and Shells using a 4-node Quasi-conforming Shell Element)

  • 본 논문에서는 전단변형률과 회전관성을 고려한 준적합 쉘 요소를 이용한 점진기능재료 판과 쉘의 고유진동수와 좌굴하중을 연구하였다. S 형상 함수를 이용한 세라믹과 금속의체적요소의 변화에 따른 점진기능재료 판과 쉘의 고유치 문제를 연구하였다. 점진기능재료 쉘 요소의 면내 강성, 휨 강성 및 전단 강성의 수식은 등질 요소보다 복잡한 재료의 성질들로 결합되어 있다. 유한요소의 수치적 결과를 검정하기 위해 1차 전단변형 이론에 의한 직사각형 판의 Wavier해를 제시하였다. 적층복합 구조 및 S 형상 점진기능재료 구조의 수치해석해는 Navier의 해로 검증하였으며, S 형상 점진기능재료 구조물의 다양한 예제를 제시하였다. 해석결과는 Navier의 이론해와 아주 잘 일치함을 알 수 있었다.

무릎 안전성 향상을 위한 컴프레션 의복의 기능적 디자인 영역 선정과 설계법 (Selection and Design of Functional Area of Compression Garment for Improvement in Knee Protection)

  • Recently, because the market for compression wear now includes all consumers, not just professionals, various items for recovery after exercising or for enhanced effects from exercise have been introduced. In this research, a systematic and stepwise design process was proposed to develop compression garment that has both functional area and appropriate pressure to protect the knee when exercising. The U-V format functional area that wraps underneath the knee was selected by considering the shape and change in the skin length when bending the knee. After the selection of the functional area, a total of seven knee design areas, including the existing product, were designed to determine the appropriate pressure. After various movements, the compression garment was ranked in terms of support of the knee, level of pressure, discomfort of seam line, and comfort of popliteal; the preferred design was selected using the quad method. Four compression wear garments were produced using two selected preferred designs; the wear evaluation was performed using a seven-point Likert scale. As a result, the optimal reduction rate of the pattern was calculated based on Ziegert and Keil's method. The applied percentage of the fabric stretch at the upper part of the crotch was 66% for the width and 50% for the length; for the lower part of the crotch, only 66% for the width was applied. Moreover, it was determined that the design of the U-V knee protection part was preferred when a 7 mm square was placed at a 1 mm distance because this not only supports the knee but also allows the fabric to accommodate various skin deformations.

Development of 3 D.O.F parallel robot's simulator for education

  • In this paper, it is developed simulator system of 3 D.O.F parallel robot for educate of expertness. This simulator system is composed of three parts ? 3 D.O.F parallel robot, controller (hardware) and software. First, basic structure of the robot is 3 active rotary actuator that small geared step motor with fixed base. An input-link is connected to this actuator, and this input-link can connect two ball joints. Thus, two couplers can be connected to the input-link as a pair. An end-plate, which is jointed by a ball joint, can be connected to the opposite side of the coupler. A sub-link is produced and installed to the internal spring, and then this sub-link is connected to the upper and bottom side of the coupler in order to prevent a certain bending or deformation of the two couplers. The robot has the maximum diameter of 230 mm, 10 kg of weight (include the table), and maximum height of 300 mm. Hardware for control of the robot is composed of computer, micro controller, pulse generator, and motor driver. The PC used in the controller sends commands to the controller, and transform signals input by the user to the coordinate value of the robot by substituting it into equations of kinematics and inverse kinematics. A controller transfer the coordinate value calculated in the PC to a pulse generator by transforming it into signals. A pulse generator analyzes commands, which include the information received from the micro controller. A motor driver transfer the pulse received from the pulse generator to a step motor, and protects against the over-load of the motor Finally, software is a learning purposed control program, which presents the principle of a robot operation and actual implementation. The benefit of this program is that easy for a novice to use. Developed robot simulator system can be practically applied to understand the principle of parallel mechanism, motors, sensor, and various other parts.

전단보강량에 따른 철근콘크리트 기둥의 거동 (Behaviour of the Reinforced Concrete Columns with Shear Reinforcement)

  • 철근콘크리트 구조물은 일반적으로 지진에 연성적으로 거동하도록 설계되며, 연성적인 거동을 위하여 구조부재는 주의 깊게 상세설계 된다. 구조물에 지진하중이 작용하는 경우 수평방향이나 수직방향으로 작용하는 지진하중에 의해 하부층 기둥은 큰 축방향력과 수평력을 받게 된다. 지진발생시 건물에 입력되는 에너지를 부재의 소성변형에 의해 건물전체에 균등하게 분산시키기 위해서는 기둥보다 보에서 소성힌지가 발생되도록 하는 것이 안전하고 경제적이지만, 건물의 2개의 주축방향으로 동시에 작용 시 기둥의 소성힌지 발생은 피할 수 없으며 기둥 단부에는 높은 전단력이 발생되고, 철근콘크리트 기둥은 휨모멘트와 전단력에 의한 갑작스런 취성적 파괴에 이를 수 있다. 이와 같이 수평력에 대한 철근콘크리트 기둥에 구속력을 증진시키기 위하여 전단보강량을 주요 변수로 하여 반복가력 실험을 통하여 일반배근 된 시험체의 구조안전성 및 거동을 비교 분석하였다.

고온 열순환 공정이 BCB와 PECVD 산화규소막 계면의 본딩 결합력에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Effects of High Temperature Thermal Cycling on Bond Strength at the Interface between BCB and PECVD SiO2 Layers)

  • 벤조시클로부텐(benzocyclobutene; BCB)과 플라즈마 화학기상증착(PECVD)된 산화규소막이 코팅된 웨이퍼들 사이의 계면에서, 고온 열순환 공정에 의한 잔류응력 및 본딩 결합력의 효과를 4점 굽힙시험법과 웨이퍼 곡률 측정법에 의해 평가하였다. 이를 위해 웨이퍼들은 사전에 확립된 표준 본딩공정에 의거하여 본딩하였으며 이들 웨이퍼에 대한 열순환 공정은 상온으로부터 최대 순환온도 사이에서 수행하였다. 최대 온도 350 및 $400^{\circ}C$에서 수행한 열순환 공정에서, 본딩 결합력은 첫번째 순환공정 동안 크게 증가하는 데, 이는 순환공정 시 발생하는 산화규소막의 축합 반응에 의한 잔류응력 감소 때문인 것으로 분석되었다. 이러한 산화규소막의 잔류응력이 감소함에 따라 BCB와 산화규소막으로 구성된 다층막의 잔류응력에 의해 변형되는 에너지는 상승하였고 따라서 BCB와 산화규소막 사이 다층막의 의 본딩 결합력은 증가하였다.

플립 칩 패키지 솔더의 탄소성 거동과 크립 해석 (Elastoplastic Behavior and Creep Analysis of Solder in a FC-PBGA Package)

  • 본 논문에서는 온도 사이클이 진행되는 동안 비선형 거동과 크립 거동을 보이는 FC-PBGA 패키지 솔더볼의 변형거동을 알아보기 위하여 시간에 종속하는 거동을 적용 시킬 수 있는 점소성 모델과 크립 모델에 대하여 유한요소해석을 수행하였다. 유한요소해석 결과의 신뢰성을 평가하기 위하여 무아레 간섭계를 이용하여 온도변화에 따른 열변형 실험을 수행하였다. 전체적인 굽힘변위는 Anand 모델과 변형률 분리 모델 모두 실험결과와 잘 일치하였으나 솔더볼의 변형률은 Anand 모델의 경우 큰 차이를 보이고 변형률 분리 모델의 경우 상당히 일치하는 계산결과를 얻었다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 변형률 분리 모델을 이용하여 시간에 종속하는 FC-PBGA 패키지 솔더볼의 크립 거동을 검토하였다. 솔더를 포함한 패키지에 온도변화가 생길 때 고온에서는 시간이 지남에 따라 크립 거동에 의해 솔더의 응력이 점차 완화되는 현상을 나타내고 있음을 알 수 있었다.
