Analyzing the productivity has been widely applied in economic analysis and of the key concept of utility regulation. In this paper we use benchmarking technique known as Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model to analyze the productivity. And we show that from the result it is possible to evaluate the performance of inefficient firms by reducing their input levels.

This study is a structural analysis of the major components of the implements for an agricultural tractor. To develop an unpowered high-speed implement of an agricultural tractor, the modeling and analysis of the benchmarking product was calculated using 3D scanning and reverse design technologies. The tractive load was calculated using the powertrain efficiencies and soil-propelling force, which were estimated by analyzing the main frame, disc, frames, and chisel plow for the axial loading condition. The final goal of this research is to establish the design parameters and assembly technology for securing disc harrow structures and durability of life. This information will be used to analyze the new model design for domestic consumption.

Our study emphasizes the importance of the review of the manufacturing industry in order help them make right decision and despite many previous methods for analyzing productivity, we were coming to analyze the efficiency of the industry with Date Envelopment Analysis(DEA). Conclusively, only 4 companies is found to manage their companies effectively among 20 top-ranking companies and there was no any correlation and through the result we could realize that the result analyzed by "DEA" don't exactly match financial rates which means that corporation's management is inefficient. We are quite sure that our study can be approved materials for Benchmarking and Management establishing strategic plan.egic plan.

This paper attempts to show how DEA(data envelopment analysis), a nonparametric productivity analysis method, can be employed for insurance companies to improve their respective efficiencies and competitiveness. Specifically, we measured relative technical efficiencies and returns to scale of 11 Korean property-liability insurance companies using BCC model, and raised several issues including the cause of inefficiency, benchmarking toward reference set and resource allocation concerning the insurance companies. Also, in order to monitor the variability of the research results over periods, we employed longitudinal analysis to see the moving patterns of technical efficiencies, returns to scale and frequencies included in the reference set of the individual insurance companies under consideration. The methodology and the results in this paper may also serve as a useful guideline for individual insurance companies to set their respective business strategies.

Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is a useful tool to analyze the relative efficiency of decision making units (DMU) characterized by multiple inputs and multiple outputs. This method has been popularly used as an analytical tool to suggest some strategic improvement. To do this, the results of DEA provide decision makers with a single efficiency score, efficient frontier, return to scale, benchmarking decision making units, etc. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate research performance of 38 universities and provide an inefficient university with the way of organizational changes to be an efficient university by using DEA. Various input and output variables are used to identify technical and scale inefficiency. Additionally, we analyze how an inefficient DMU could be changed an efficient DMU based on a case university. This result will give an insight of constructive directions for increasing of research performance to university decision makers.

u와 v를 두 인접수열 (consecutive sequence)이라고 했을 때 이때 "block rotation"이란 uv를 vu로 바꾸는 연산을 의미한다. 기존에 3개의 block rotation 알고리즘 즉 "BlockRotation", "Juggling" 그리고 "Reversal 알고리즘"이 소개되었는데 최근 우리는 하나의 새로운, QuickRotation 이라고 명명한 block rotation 알고리즘을 소개했다. 우리는 이 논문에서 QuickRotation 알고리즘을 이들 기존의 알고리즘들과 비교해 보이고자 한다. 벤치마킹 뿐만 아니라 복잡도 분석을 통한 비교를 통해 QuickRotation 알고리즘의 우수성을 증명해 보이고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to understand the production efficiency of individual fishing communities and provide directions for improvement. The subject of the study is aquaculture type Ochon-Gye in Goheung-gun. The analysis method used bootstrap-DEA to overcome the statistical reliability problem of the traditional DEA analysis technique. In addition, data mining-GIS was applied to identify the spatial productivity of fishing communities. The values of technology efficiency, pure technology efficiency, and scale efficiency were estimated for 32 aquaculture-type fishing villages. Then, using the benchmarking reference set and weights, the projection was presented through adjustment of the input factor excess, and furthermore, the confidence interval of the efficiency values considering statistical significance was estimated using bootstrap.

Text classification is one of the popular tasks in Natural Language Processing (NLP) used to classify text or document applications such as sentiment analysis and email filtering. Nowadays, state-of-the-art (SOTA) Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) algorithms are the core engine used to perform these classification tasks with high accuracy, and they show satisfying results. This paper conducts a benchmarking performance's analysis of multiple SOTA algorithms on the first known labeled Korean voice phishing dataset called KorCCVi. Experimental results reveal performed on a test set of 366 samples reveal which algorithm performs the best considering the training time and metrics such as accuracy and F1 score.

Knowledge-based Service Industry is an industry that creates added value through the production, processing, and use of knowledge. Comparing to other service industries, it is innovation-oriented business endeavors having the characteristics that exert the great influences on other fields. Meanwhile, however, research efforts thereof are yet insignificant. In this study, we analyzed the innovation performance of architectural design office which creates knowledge services, having raised the necessity of innovation of the design office. The innovation performance were classified according to the extent of efficiency of the architectural design office making use of DEA-Tier analysis, and, for those architectural design offices that showed significant differences in efficiency, we presented the case studies of the firms that were substantial benchmarking targets from short, medium, and long-term perspectives.

국내 CM은 2001년 건설산업기본법에 의해 개념과 범위가 정의된 후 지속적인 성장을 계속해 오고 있다. 하지만, 이러한 CM 제도에 기반한 성장에도 불구하고 국내에서의 CM 적용성과는 기대치에 비해 상대적으로 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 그 주요원인의 하나로 국내 CM제도가 책임감리에 비하여 업무범위가 넓지만, 대가기준은 책임감리에 비해 낮기 때문인 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서, 국내 CM 대가체계의 합리적인 기준을 정립하는 것이 시급할 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구에서는 CM 대가체계의 합리적인 기준을 마련하기 위하여 CMAA, ASCE, DOE, DOL 등의 다양한 해외사례 벤치마킹 연구를 통하여 국내 CM 대가체계를 비교하여 대가 상승요인을 추정하고 대가산정 개선방향을 제시하였다. 분석결과 대가수준은 해외에 비하여 현저하게 낮은 수준인 것으로 판단되었으며, 업무범위는 해외와 비교하여 그 폭이 좁으며 획일적인 구조를 가진 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 글로벌스탠다드에 따르는 국내 CM 대가체계를 개선하기 위하여 실비정액보수가산(Cost Plus Fixed Fee) 방식을 제시하고, 입 낙찰 전반에 걸친 CM 대가체계에 대한 기준(Framework)을 제시하였다.
