The purpose of our research is to identify the critical variables and to develop a new methodology for market segmentation of online game market. Our research tested the model with Korean online game users because Korean online game industry is the frontier of global online game industries. Conclusively, the critical variables are the suitability of feedback, the reality of design, the precision of information and the involvement of virtual community. The analysis of segmentation shows that the primary target audiences are positively influenced by the reality of design and the involvement of virtual community. To attract the primary target audiences, online game companies should develop strategies depending on the effectiveness of the variables and the demographic and behavioral characteristics of target audiences.

Objectives: The US ranks ninth in obesity in the world, and approximately 7% of US adults experience major depressive disorder. Social isolation due to the stigma attached to obesity might trigger depression. Methods: This paper examined the impact of obesity on depression. To overcome the endogeneity problem, we constructed pseudopanel data using the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System from 1997 to 2008. Results: The results were robust, and body mass index (BMI) was found to have a positive effect on depression days and the percentage of depressed individuals in the population. Conclusions: We attempted to overcome the endogeneity problem by using a pseudo-panel approach and found that increases in the BMI increased depression days (or being depressed) to a statistically significant extent, with a large effect size.

Recently, information technology and information system(IS) are rapidly diffused throughout the world. In the global competitive environment, the success of IS becomes the important one among the critical success factors(CSF) of the firm. For achieving it, the firm must continually involve itself in the quality evaluation and improvement of IS. The quality concept was changed into the customer-oriented quality one. There is no exception to the quality of IS. In the past, IS quality was determined by the IS developer or IS department offering service. Now it is evaluated by the user of IS service, and then the customer-oriented user satisfaction becomes an important issue. The purpose of this study is to develope the total quality evaluation model of IS through TQM approach. First, all success factors of the domestic IS are extracted from the foreign and domestic literatures of IS success factors contained the technical and behavioral aspects. And the extracted factors are classified with evaluation levels for quality evaluation and developed into a total quality evaluation model. Finally the model usefulness is analyzed.

Interior design is an inerdisciplinary field that is in the early stages of theory development, it is necessary to build theoretical frame work for the research. The purpose of this study is to present interior design and guidelines in a three generation family apartment for the elderly, and to develop a theoretical framework on the basis of the human ecosystem approach for analysis of relations between elderly and environment. Analysis and investigations are done by literature review about residential environmental characteristics of the elderly based on the findings of the conceptual analysis. Environmenta elements of interor design related to elderly in a three generation family apartment are as follow ; First, Natural environmental element is orientation, site, temperature, local weather. Second, human behavioral element is privacy , interior design requirement based on physical and psychological effect, housing policy, behavior. Third, Human constructed environmental element is size of apartment space, interior design component, human dimension, aesthetic condition.

Urinary incontinence is the most common urinary symptom in children and causes considerable anxiety in children and parents. In most cases, there is no underlying organic pathology and the longterm prognosis is excellent. Despite these reassuring facts, children with wetting problems can be a challenge for primary pediatrician. This is probably because the problem is poorly understood, there is no readily identifiable medical pathology, and because treatment is usually time consuming and arduous. There is a great demand for treatment because wetting is an unpleasant symptom that can cause a stress and anxiety in the family. There may also be other coexisting problems such as urinary tract infection, constipation, soiling, and behavioral or emotional difficulties. Despite the frequency and vexing nature of voiding dysfunction, physicians may not always obtain a careful history to identify and to treat children properly with this condition. This article addresses the comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic approach to such children.

이 논문은 학교도서관의 체제 강화를 위한 마케팅 전략을 탐색하였다. 마케팅 환경 분석 전략에 따라 학교도서관 마케팅 환경을 외부 거시환경, 외부 미시환경, 내부 조직환경, 내부 운영환경으로 나누어 설명하였고 고객 세분화 전략에 다라 학교도서관의 목표 고객을 학교 경영자, 교사, 학생, 학부모와 지역사회로 나누어 각각의 성격과 마케팅 전략을 제시하였다. 그리고 학교도서관 마케팅을 위한 커뮤니케이션 전략으로 커뮤니케이션의 지향과 성격에 따라 관리적 커뮤니케이션, 행동적 커뮤니케이션, 협력적 커뮤니케이션, 사회적 커뮤니케이션으로 나누어 논의하였다.

Electric power market in Japan is now on the trend of deregulation and privatization just like in Europe and the United States. And various approaches for risk management have been investigated taking the electric power price fluctuation after the deregulation into account. The behavior of the investment in power generation plants has not, however, been studied in detail yet due to the complexity of the problem. The problem of the investment in the deregulated power market is that of autonomous decentralized decision-making system, which includes various kinds of decision-makers, that is, power producers called IPPS Each generator has its own criteria for plant investment. Therefore, the total behavior of the decentralized power market will be so complicated, and normative approach will not be applicable fur this analysis. We have developed a simulation-based system fur behavioral analysis and also the framework design of the decentralized power market.

The behavioral mechanism underlying the traffic assignment model is a choice, or decision-making process of traveling paths between origins and destinations. The deterministic approach to traffic assignment assumes that travelers choose shortest path from their origin-destination pair. Although this assumption seems reasonable, it presumes that all travelers have perfect information regarding travel time, that they make consistently correct decision, and that they all behave in identical fashion. Stochastic user equilibrium assignment relaxes these presumptions by including a random component in traveler's perception of travel time. The objective of this study is to compare "A Model of Deterministic User Equilibrium Assignment" with "Models of Stochastic User Equilibrium Assignment" in the theoretical and practical aspects. Specifically, SUE models are developed to logit and probit based models according to discrete choice functions. The models were applied to sioux Falls net ork consisting of 24 zones, 24 nodes and 76 links. The distribution of perceived travel time was obtained by using the relationship between speed and traffic flow.

Hardware-software codesign becomes improtant to effectively sagisfy perfomrance goals, because designers can trade-off in the way hardware and software components work teogether to exhibit a specified behavior. In this paper, a hardware-software pratitioning algorithm is presetned, in which the system behavioral description containing a mixture of hardware and software components is partitioned into hardware part and software part. The partitioning algorithm tries to minimize the given cost function under constraints on hardware resources or latency. Recursive moving of operations between the hardware and software parts is used to find a near optimum partition and the list scheduling approach is used to estimate the hardware area and latency. Since memory may take substantial protion of the hardware part, memory cost is included in sthe hardware cost. Experimental resutls show that our algorithm is effective.

Compliance with information security policies has been an important managerial concern in organizations. Unlike traditional general deterrent theory, this study proposes whistle-blowing as an alternative approach for reducing internal information security policy violations. We build on the theories of planned behavior and rational choice as well as develop a theoretical model to understand the factors that influence whistle-blowing attitudes and intention at both the organizational and individual levels. Our empirical results reveal that altruistic and egoistic concerns are involved in the development of whistle-blowing attitudes. The results not only extend our understanding of whistle-blowing motivation but also offer directions to managers in promoting internal disclosure of information security breaches.
