Mechanical behavior of copper nanowire is investigated. An FCC nanowire model composed of 1,408 atoms is used for MD simulation. Simulations are performed within NVT ensemble setting without periodic boundary conditions. $Nos\acute{e}-Poincar\acute{e}$ MD algorithm is employed to guarantee preservation of Hamiltonian and temperature. Numerical tensile tests of Nanowire are carried out with constant strain rate. Additionally, temperature and strain rate effects are considered. Stress-strain curve is constructed from the calculated Cauchy stresses and specified strain values. In (22,4,4) Copper nanowire, non-linear behavior appears around ${\epsilon}\simeq0.09.$ At this instance, starting of structural reorientations are observed. At the onset of reorientation, the modulus characteristics are also investigated.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between fathers' child-rearing behavior and the competencies of their children and to suggest ways in which fathers can exert a positive influence on their children. The subjects were the fathers and mothers of 649 six- to seven-year-old children attending schools located in T city. Data was analyzed by frequency, percentile, mean, standard deviation, correlation analysis and canonical correlation analysis. Results showed that "limit setting" was the most frequently used child rearing behavior by fathers. On the other hand fathers' "reasoning guidance" was correlated with children's personalities and intellectual competencies.

This study examined the influence of mothers' reading and scaffolding behaviors on children's emotional experiences and memory recall during picture book reading. Sixty children, aged 6 and their mothers participated in this study. Each child-mother dyad was observed in a lab setting which was designed to evaluate child-mother interactions during a picture book reading. The data were analyzed using correlation and multiple regression techniques. Our results indicated that mothers' task-oriented reading behavior affected the children's lack of positive emotions, whereas mothers' fun-oriented reading behavior was associated with the children's positive emotions. The task-oriented reading behavior also accounted for children's poor memory performance in relation to the book. These results were discussed in terms of the relationship between emotion and cognition through book reading experiences.

The Affordance, discussed in the theory of ecological perception of environmental psychology, is the concept of perception that deals with inter-relationship between environment and human. It is a theory seeking for gradual evolution, with the change of user experience behavior and the space, by getting feed-backs from the analysis of perception of characteristics of 3-dimensional space and the user as moving entity. Although there has been many attempts to define the Affordance and apply its concept to the architecture, now there's a need to identify the Affordance in the real architectural space, represent Affordance of space and the user inter-relationship in the architecture and apply its design specifically, Thus, the purpose of this study is to present the methodology of applying Affordance in architectural space design by identifying the Affordance of space concept of human experience behavior in the architectural space and analyze its recognition process.

The sleeplessness in childhood is quite different from that in adulthood in terms of causes, developmental process, and treatment. Sleep behavior in childhood is strongly influenced by parental personality and familial and cultural background. In understanding and management of sleeplessness of children, it is especially important to understand the separation anxiety and the ways of its management in bedtime because bedtime routine with children one of separation process from parents. Co-sleeping, parental intervention, transional object and bedtime routines can be appeared in order to reduce the anxiety from bedtime separation. Causes of sleeplessness in infant and toddler are bad sleep-onset association, nocturnal drinking, colic, and food allergy. In preschool and school aged children, limit-setting sleep problem and fears and nightmare can be causes of sleeplessness. When good sleep environment and habits are established sound sleep and more mature personality can be developed.

Health education is the first of the nine essential services of primary health care which has been advocated as a key in achieving “Health for All” by World Health Organization and its Member States since 1978. The purpose of this paper is to assist community health workers to improve the effectiveness of community health programmes through understanding key issues related to health education, and applying the recommended skills to conducting their health education programmes in the community. Chapter 1 shows the relationship between health and behavior, and the importance of understanding several key factors for people's health behavior in designing and implementing health education programmes in the specific community, and discusses ways to facilitate people's health behavior changes. Chapter 2 deals with conducting face-to-face health education with emphasis on counselling skills, and chapter 3 touches with health education for informal group, in particular at the hospital setting. Chapter 4 introduces how to create a supportive verbal communication climate, and proposes applying these skills to health education so as to improve the effectiveness of health education.

This study is concerned with the functions of dwelling space effected by the tendency that the number of furniture in the household has increased in recent years. The functions of dwelling space were grasped on the basis of dwelling - behavior tenitories. The possession of furniture was surveyed In 144 units of apartment house. Observation with questionnaire was carried out through pilot and main survey. 1) The dwelling - behavior territories of Anbang, Living Room and D.K. each were classified into 4 kinds. These territories were assorted into two categories ; first, the similar territories were integrated and specific various territories formatted, second, new kind dwelling spaces were required2) Accordingly, Anbang have to be re - setted up Anbang and storage, Living Room and D.K. re - setted up L.D.K. and Utility. In this way, it coudld be possible, that creative reasonable space were formated for more satisfactory. Therefore relationships between furniture possession and the usage of dwelling spaces wre identified.

In the paper, a fractional derivative Kelvin-Voigt model describing the dynamic behavior of a special class of fluid viscous dampers, is presented. First of all, in order to verify their mechanical properties, two devices were tested the former behaving as a pure damper (PD device), whereas the latter as an elastic-damping device (ED device). For both, quasi-static and dynamic tests were carried out under imposed displacement control. Secondarily, in order to describe their cyclical behavior, a model composed by an elastic and a damping element connected in parallel was defined. The elastic force was assumed as a linear function of the displacement whereas the damping one was expressed by a fractional derivative of the displacement. By setting an appropriate numerical algorithm, the model parameters (fractional derivative order, damping coefficient and elastic stiffness) were identified by experimental results. The estimated values allowed to outline the main parameter properties on which depend both the elastic as well as the damping behavior of the considered devices.

As the overseas direct purchase market grows rapidly, firms are setting up various strategic directions to attract consumers. However, many previous researches on this issue have focused on consumption behavior based on consumers' motivation and demographic factors, so there is a certain limit to suggest practical implications for firms. Therefore, this study proposed modeling to understand how firm's strategic direction influences consumers' acceptance behavior in order to overcome these limitations. For this purpose, this study conducted a survey on 357 domestic consumers and conducted empirical analysis through structural equation model analysis. As a result, the effort expectancy of overseas direct purchase site has a strong influence on consumer intention as much as performance expectancy. We also found that product variety had the strongest impact on performance expectancy and that web site reputation directly affected consumers' behavioral intention as well as purchasing behavior.
