  • The components of the seismic behavior factor of RC frames are expected to change as structural redundancy increases. Most researches indicate that increasing redundancy is desirable in response to stochastic events such as earthquake loading. The present paper investigated the effect of redundancy on a fixed plan for seismic behavior factor components and the nonlinear behavior of RC frames. The 3D RC moment resistant frames with equal lateral resistance were designed to examine the role of redundancy in earthquake-resistant design and to distinguish it from total overstrength capacity. The seismic behavior factor and dynamic behavior of structures under natural strong ground motions were numerically evaluated as the judging criteria for structural seismic behavior. The results indicate that increasing redundancy alone in a fixed plan cannot be defined as a criterion for improving the structural seismic behavior.

  • Purpose: This study aimed to review measurements of environmental health behavior and assess the construct validity of Environmental Health Engagement Profile (EHEP) through confirmatory factor analysis. Methods: The literature review was performed for selection of measurements. Confirmatory factor analysis with AMOS 19.0 was used for validation of EHEP. Results: The model fitness was not appropriate in the one-factor model; $x^2=91.11$ (df=5, p<.001), Comparative Fit Index (CFI)=8.19, Non Normed Fit Index (NNFI)=6.39, and Root Mean Square Error of Approximation (RMSEA)=0.20. The model fitness was appropriate in the two-factor model; $x^2=3.19$ (df=1, p=.074), CFI=9.95, NNFI= 9.71, RMSEA=0.07. A modification of scale was found to be the most suitable for use in the investigation of environmental health behavior. Conclusion: This study confirms that a two-factor model underlies the concept of environmental health behavior. The review of measurements can help nurses and researchers to assess the environmental health behaviors.

  • The purposes of this study was to examine the college students'value and the status of their clothing purchasing behavior, and to compare the correlation between both of them. The questions were centered on 511 students who are attending the universities in Seoul. The results of this study were as follows. First, most students have higher value on politics, economy, and theory in the order listed. Male-students were interested in theory, while female-students were more interested in politics. Second, when they purchase their clothes, the factor of decision was based on design and their observation was another important factor. As for selecting shops, they considered the product as the most important factor and then the service & transportation. Third, I inspected the correlation between their value & the status of their clothing purchasing behavior. The students with lower theoretical value considered the quality as a purchasing factor, and the service as a purchasing factor, common shop as a purchasing shop, adn the convenient transportation system as a factor of selecting a shop.

  • Recently, the desire of the students has been changing variously as time passes and its speed is being accelerated. In this respect, this paper aims to demonstrate college students' menu choice behavior. In order to attain the object of this paper, college students in Chung-Nam Province including Daejeon city have been studied. There are many kinds of manu choice factors in food-industry. One of the methods of this study is Khan's food choice factor. The results of this analysis suggest that hypothesis 1-1, the environmental factors for college students were verified as significant effects on menu choice behavior of other people and also hypothesis $1{\sim}2$, self oriented for menu choice behavior showed significant effects. As a result, Khan's food choice behavior should be comparative to each factor focused on diversified environments. And also each factor is not strongly affected in relation to food choice factor. Therefore, students' menu choice behavior will be measured by verifying factors.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of clothing involvement, store and brand loyalty orientation on the information search behavior. The study subjects comprised 298 females living in Seoul and Kyung-gi area. The data were analyzed with factor analysis, regression, cluster analysis, ANOVA and correlation analysis. Clothing involvement and information search behavior consisted of various factors. Clothing involvement, store and brand loyalty influenced information search behavior. Fashion and clothing involvement was the most important factor which influenced all loyalty and information search behavior(i.e. brand and store loyalty, personal and nonpersonal information search behavior). According to store and brand loyalty factors, female consumers classified into three groups : low loyalty, brand loyalty and store loyalty group. Three groups showed different clothing involvement, information search, clothing purchasing behavior and demographic variables. Therefore, loyalty orientation is the important factor which can describe the consumer behavior more effectively.
