The purpose of this study was to investigate the speech characteristics and speech therapy of Parkinson disease (PD). This study selected 28 papers published in Korea from 1998 to 2018 after searching the terms 'Parkinson voice' and 'Parkinson speech therapy.' Literature review had been conducted in the two aspects of speech characteristics and speech therapy. The speech characteristics were divided into respiration, phonation, articulation, prosody, vowel production, and voice questionnaire. Speech therapy was divided into Lee Sliverman voice treatment (LSVT) and other voice therapy. PD patients did not differ in respiration function compared to normal elderly people, but their speech and articulation function were poorer. There was also a difference in the speech rate, frequency of pause, and accuracy of vowel production compared with normal elderly people. PD had a lower VHI score and their voice related quality of life was a little poorer. The LSVT was typically used in speech therapy for PD. The methods of speech therapy for PD have been shown to improve respiration and phonation. It is necessary to establish voice norms in PD patients and develop effective speech therapy in the following study.

Objectives : This study focused on how the modem blood vessel is defined in Oriental medicine through literary investigation. Methods : Contents from 35 classical texts representing each era were analyzed for the expression of Hyeolmaek and affiliate information, as well as terms used for the current concept of blood vessel. Results : Following results were obtained through investigating literary information on Hyeolmaek. 1. In the Yellow Emperor's Classic, Hyeolmaek is associated with heart and widely used for physiological, pathological, diagnosis, and treatment purposes. 2. During the Song Dynasty, a term Cheonggeun (靑節). is used to describe the vein in the abdomen. 3. During the Ming Dynasty, terms such as Cheonggeun(靑節) and Cheongmaek(靑脈) were used. 4. The term Hyeolmaek was used inclusively for blood, blood vessels, arteries, veins, and as well as meridians.

Though anatomical and histological investigations on the novel threadlike and corpuscular structures, Bonghan duct(BHD) and Bonghan corpuscles(BHC) of internal organs of rats and rabbits were extensively studied. In this article we introduce the refined method to observe the BHD and BHC on the internal organs of mice. This development is needed because immunohistochemical analysis and other modern biological techniques were mostly applicable only to mice but not to rats and rabbits. We made uses of grazing effect of light as well as discriminating technique of BHD/C from fibrin and take the novel structures, BHD/C on mouse internal organ. The specimens taken were examined by hematoxyline and eosin(H & E) and revealed as novel structures. Our method described herein to take BHD/C characterization of mouse, especially for stem cell related researches.

With the rapid development of economy, scientific technology, and medical technology, as the current society is also changing competitively, we are compelled to have many psychological and problems such as pressure, mental stress and tension as well as physical problems. Therefore, the more current industries develops, the more attention is given to health in preventive level rather than treatment level. Contemporary people have paid more attention to management of health and have a desire for beautiful and healthy life. In other words, their interest in consistent management of their health and beauty are getting stronger. To satisfy the desire to live healthily and beautifully, many natural therapies that can be applied for actual living have been developed, which the public are willing to accept. Therefore, this study is to specifically demonstrate the followings through interviews with the customers who have armoatherapy: What effect customers' knowledge on aromatherapy, frequency of use, expenses, experiences of side-effects, and perception on its effect on skin care will have on customer satisfaction and intention to reuse the service. The results are presented as follows: Though customers' perception on aroma is high, they usually use it only on their faces. So is should be promoted in various ways. It is demonstrated that customers' satisfaction has a significant effect on their intention to reuse it.

This study analyzed the factors of change of women's underwear in the Renaissance, which had a sudden change of shape. First, the spirit of the Renaissance was focused on human-attached importance to glamorous beauty of the body and pursued the glamorous well-proportioned figure as the ideal of the human body. This expressed a woman's beautiful curved lines by reduction of their waist size and emphasis of breast and hip lines. It also created and emphasized one's physical figure, which is a characteristic of sex. Also the materials and size of underwear cleared up the classification of class. Second, through the development of weaving techniques, more textiles were produced, from linen, the most common material used, to silk in underwear and stomacher, and chemise, which was made more splendid be devising elaborate embroidery techniques. Third, as we know that the farthingale was devised in Spain and transmitted to France because of the prevalence of printing and trade, where it changed and developed to more convenient style, this shows that information interchange was active, and we can see the phenomenon that it is developing continually through the prevalence of printing and trade.

Although the industrial society gained people with material wealth, they were panic-stricken, felt in lack of everything, not to mention how fast the environment was destroyed. In the midst of this social flow, more and more people who became aware of the problems of the industrial society began to crave happy and beautiful lives through the combination of mental and physical health. This resulted in a new lifestyle called 'well-being'. Lohas, which has become a prominent figure through deep thoughts on social well-being is beyond the persuation of an individual's health and quality of life. Not only does Lohas propose a lifestyle for the mental and physical health of an individual, it also proposes sustainable consumption without hurting the world or the environment. The appearance of the Lohas provided an opportunity not only for people to look in a different aspect on the problems of pollution and ecosystem but to develop and design different products accordingly. Through furniture designs with the idea of lifestyles of health and sustainability applied, this thesis analyses how the main concept of the 3R-Recycle, Reuse, and Reduce is being applied and put to use productively in furniture design.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship of appearance management behavior, appearance management motives and body image perception according to males' gender role identities. A set of questionnaire was administered to 398 male consumers. Data were analyzed by utilizing frequency, factor analysis, ANONA, and Crosstabs. The results showed that four groups of male consumers according to the gender role identity were androgyny, unclassified, femininity, and masculinity. The androgyny oriented group showed more active and various appearance management behavior. And they were more conscious of their own body image and rated themselves high in body image perception. The masculinity oriented group were satisfied with their bodies and showed positive attitudes on their body figures and hair care. The femininity oriented group showed positive attitudes on skin care and plastic surgery for social life.

The purpose of this study was to examine self-perception of body image and dieting behaviors by gender among high school students. The data were collected by a self-administered questionnaire during April, 2010, and analyzed by SPSS Windows V.18.0. The results were as follows. First, many respondents showed a desire to be underweight and regarded themselves as overweight, even though they had a normal BMI. Second, female respondents showed a higher level of concern about diet than male respondents. Third, male respondents received information about diet mostly from their family or friends, whereas female respondents received information from blogs, mini-homepages, or Kin-search on the Internet. Finally, female respondents showed a higher level of practice for fasting therapy than male respondents, whereas male respondents showed a higher level of practice for food therapy, drug therapy, oriental medicine therapy, and steam bath therapy. Therefore, high school should educate students to get right recognition and knowledge of diet.

Designs of Takashi Sugimoto suggested new concepts on the space after broking out fixed ideas, and attempted spatial expressions differently from existing interior decorations through independent thoughts and new interpretations. It is showing orientalism's influences strongly based on Japanese traditional beauty unlike western country's design trends. Takashi Sugimoto is implementing unique own design viewpoints by using materials in nature rather than artificial ones, and stressing extra ordinary view of the world having been edited with daily life through traditions and local cultures along with recycling old daily goods and wastes rather than pursuing modem and futuristic spatiality. Sugimoto thought that beautiful designs and uncommon ideas could be gotten from simple daily experiences, and thus materialized it with a technique of extraordinary daily life's implementation through such design viewpoints. Also, He pursues designs in which dense communications are made variously between spaces, space and user, and this becomes design techniques having been used mostly in his projects. It creates soft boundaries through using certain objet as an intermediate of doing communication or erasing physical boundaries, and then induces close communication within the space. This design viewpoints and techniques of Takashi Sugimoto have directed own discriminated designs nowadays.

The present study was performed to investigate the psychological effects of spring flowers blossoms, which is one of the elements influencing to human psychology, in order to provide scientific evidence on the psychological benefits of green plants. A self-reporting survey was conducted by using self reporting questionnaires on the impression (semantic differential method: SD method) and mood states (profile of mood states: POMS) of eighty university students in their twenties. Korean forsythia, Korean rosebay, Japanese apricot, Cherry blossom, and Magnolia were chosen as spring flowers. The results of impression evaluation and mood states changes showed that spring flower blossom had beautiful, soft, warm, moist, familiar and full impressions, and changed our mood positively by reducing depression and anger, or by increasing vigor. In addition, different psychological effects can be differently observed depending on the species; for example, Cherry blossom had a greater effect in changing the impression and feeling than others. The findings would provide support toward the active usage in green space as well as its design maximizing the psychological effects of nature.
