Like any other music, Korean traditional music make a beautiful compound melody of many music instruments. In this paper, we separate melody especially played by two instruments, that is Kayakeum, Piri(Korean pipe) analysing each audio signal. Kayakeum, Piri have a unique frequency component for each sound height. Therefore each melody of them can be expressed into each sheet of notation separately and MIDI codes. We expect that this paper will benefit all the people studying and instructing Korean music.

The interaction of light with periodic patterns generates beautiful color patterns and interesting applications. The basic equation for understanding this phenomena is the grating equation. It tells us the angles, relative to a perpendicular to a grating with a specific period, into which light of a specific wavelength will be diffracted. But what it does not tell us is how much light will be directed into the various "orders" of the grating. It was found that by controlling the shape of the diamond point used to cut the periodic structure into the substrate, a traditional grating could be made to direct most of the light diffracted from it into a single order. Space given at home, furniture is an important condition to determine its size. As a method for satisfying outer and functional human needs, ever changing, shaped form has also been developed. Modern people tend to decorate the beautiful living space to the needs of the beauty and space of living. In order to satisfy these requirements, the development of furniture to suit the taste of modern people is required. In this study, we add together the design and contemporary design of traditional Korean and use of raw wood can feel the natural and applied to furniture retro design. It is possible to have a motif characteristic of Hanok traditional to suggest a design where you can feel the sensitivity with retro in the direction of the current design change is large and diverse, and in harmony with the living space of modern it is an object that you study the production lighting and storage furniture with the complexity of the traditional and modern.

Divine bell of king Songdok(3.663m of the height, 2.227m of the diameter, 18,900kg of the weight, 7.7-21.5mm of the thickness), known as the bell of Emille which has been molded in 771 year to the illustrious memory of King Songdok for 34 years is one of culture heritages in the world. Even though the appearance of bell is very beautiful, also the sound of bell was appeared miraculous characteristics of shaking the sky, earth and human. The bell of Emille caused by discontinuous sound in maintaining continuous, strongly emotional sound and moving the mind of human etc, is appeared the 'Macnorlee' phenomenon which having the discontinuous sound in maintaining continuous. So far, it has reasoned out the phenomenon of the bell of Emille. but it was first proved a realized a baby-boiling sound about the bell of Emille according to the comparison and analysis. In this study of bell, we proposed improvement and device of the wooden parts beating the bell why a baby-boiling sound was not heard well as before.

The purpose of this study was to elicit the multi-dimensions of retirement expectations, and explore sub-factors of retirement expectations which predict the possibility of worker's participation to each pre-retirement planning programs. The major findings were as follows: first, this study shows that there are four sub-factors; Imposed frustration, New beginning, Transition to rest, Continuing. And there was a significant difference in retirement expectation according to sex, age, income, and health status. Second, the major affecting factors on participation in pre-retirement planning programs were sex, age, job, educational attainment, and health status. Third, those who have retirement expectations of 'Imposed frustration' tend to attend re-employment, leisure, and health education. Those who have retirement expectations of 'Transition to rest' tend to attend re-employment, inauguration education. And those who have retirement of 'Continuing' tend to attend leisure education.

The purpose of this study is to establish the direction for creating the beautiful and lively space of the reli-gious architecture as a consquence of trying to under-stand the forms of control of the light and the symbolic meaning of the production in the interior space of the re-ligious architecture. The scope of this study has been limited to the natural light and to the establishment of theoretical background by analyzing the essence and method of space formation by the light in a side view of development and psychology and establishing the concept related to the architectur-al space formation of the light as well as researching and analyzing the meaning and the method of production of the light. And at the same time the conclusion has been induced as a guide of verifying theoretical background by analyz-ing the practical use related to the control and the pro-duction of the light through the spot research and the referential materials in a way of case research into 5 do-mestic religious architectures as the subject of research.

Recently the status of oriental medicine in Korea has been more increased as the alternative medicine which overcome the limitations of western medicine. With the increased status, the development of the oriental medical doctor's gown which is distinguished from that of western medical doctor has been brought up among the oriental medical doctors' group since the middle of 1990. We carried out the former study to know the development's direction of the present oriental medical doctor's gown by the survey the requisites for the oriental medical doctor's gown which they want(OK Suh, 2002). We aim to propose the developed design of the oriental medical doctor's gown which meet their request and has honored tradition according to the data of the former survey. As the result of the production designing of the oriental medical doctor's gown considering tradition, practicality, appreciation of the beautiful etc., in our study, we could lead to distribute 800 gowns through the Association of Korean Oriental Medicine supporting by the brand of Amorepacific's Sulhasoo.

This study is to analyze the symbolic images appeared in modern fashion design adopted dualistic meanings in uniforms. Uniforms signify order, conformity and discipline in public life. The dualistic meanings in uniforms appeared modern times are as follows: public authority vs individual non-authority, heterosexual identity vs homosexual identity, time-space uniformity vs mixed diversity. The symbolic images appeared in modern fashion design adopted dualistic meanings in uniforms such as military uniforms, school uniforms, nurses' uniforms, sports uniforms and etc. are erotic image, hybrid image, and kitsch image.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of female university students' cosmetic purchase motivation on cosmetic attribute evaluation and brand repurchase intention. Questionnaires data of 202 female university students who had purchase experience of cosmetic product in recent 6 months through off-line were analyzed. The results are as follows. First, situational purchase motivation had a positive impact on extrinsic and economic attributes. Second, intrinsic purchase motivation had a positive impact on extrinsic, utilitarian, aesthetic, and economic attributes. Third, hedonic purchase motivation had a positive impact on extrinsic attribute. Fourth, aesthetic attribute had a positive influence on brand repurchase intention and extrinsic attribute had a negative effect on brand repurchase intention. Therefore, when cosmetic companies dealing with female university students' cosmetic product establish marketing strategies, they need to pay attention to aesthetic attribute evaluation and intrinsic purchase motivation to highten their brand loyalty.

The purpose of this study was to investigate job stressors of information planning process and the relevant affairs of Fashion Information Providers, using the qualitative research method. This study was performed by interview with 14 fashion information planning providers from April to May in 2007. In the information planning process, there were five steps on fashion information providers' recognitions of stressors: information gathering, analysing, planning, presenting and evaluating. In the relevant affairs of fashion information activities, job stressors consisted of task related stressors, role related stressors, organization related stressors, personal characteristics, and outsides of organization related stressors.
