자동차용 강판의 겹치기 $CO_2$ 레이저 용접에서 용접속도와 판재간격에 따른 용접특성 연구 (Effects of the Gap and the Speed on the Lap-Joint $CO_2$ Laser Welding of Automotive Steel Sheets)

  • Recently the laser welding technology has been applied increasingly for the automotive bodies. But the lap joint laser welding for 3 dimensional automotive body is new while the butt joint laser welding is well known as the tailored blank technology. In this study, the process window was found for the full penetration welding of the lap joint of the 1mm-thick high strength steel sheets. The limit curves and characteristic curves were suggested to define the boundaries and the contour lines in a space of the welding speed and the gap size. The characteristics of the weld sectional geometry were used to determine the limit curves. They are bead width, penetration depth and sectional area. After the observed data was analysed carefully, it was noticed that there was a transition point at which the sectional shape was changed and the bead area jumped as the welding speed was increased. Also a new concept of 'input energy Per volume' was suggested to distinguish the difference at the transition Point. The difference of sectional areas at the transition point can be related to the dynamic keyhole phenomena.

AlN 분말의 고에너지 밀링에 따른 소결체의 절연 특성 (Insulating Behavior of Sintered AlN Ceramics Prepared by High-Energy Bead Milling of AlN Powder)

  • Aluminum nitride (AlN) powder specimens are treated by high-energy bead milling and then sintered at various temperatures. Depending on the solvent and milling time, the oxygen content in the AlN powder varies significantly. When isopropyl alcohol is used, the oxygen content increases with the milling time. In contrast, hexane is very effective at suppressing the oxygen content increase in the AlN powder, although severe particle sedimentation after the milling process is observed in the AlN slurry. With an increase in the milling time, the primary particle size remains nearly constant, but the particle agglomeration is reduced. After spark plasma sintering at $1400^{\circ}C$, the second crystalline phase changes to compounds containing more $Al_2O_3$ when the AlN raw material with an increased milling time is used. When the sintering temperature is decreased from $1750^{\circ}C$ to $1400^{\circ}C$, the DC resistivity increases by approximately two orders of magnitude, which implies that controlling the sintering temperature is a very effective way to improve the DC resistivity of AlN ceramics.

  • after using dom die, this sheet pressed from a variation condition of size, of die holder power,of rpm speed, accordingly the kind of material, the conditionof deformation movement between both sheets is analyzed, is investigated in the Press machine. even if the change quantity which formed raises a blank holder pressure, the change quantity which is special is not visible from the segment where there is not a bead, the segment where there is a bead to the other side does change quantity schedule to initially and the features of press holding power which the change quantity diminishes is showed consequently from pressurization change quantity it is visible but until a rupture territory from the rpm, it goes but the features where the change quantity does not change a lot is observationd, from the CR2-sheet the quality comes out though well but a possibility of getting a result under same conditions of AL-sheet does not become the formation which stands is. It is like that though press-die which uses the drawing-sheet it exchanges the sheets, when AL-sheet with doing, the conclusion for maintain which have a formation sincerity healthy characteristic is same with afterwords.

Immobilized Saccharomyces cerevisia의 반응특성에 관한 연구 (Studies on the Reactive Characteristics of Immobilized Saccharomyces cerevisia in Ethanol Production)

  • In an attempt to develop the immobilized biocatalysts based on immobilized Saccharomyces cerevisiae, immobilized yeast was investigated with respect to the conditions affected to ethanol productivities. Saccharomyces cerevisiae was immobilized in the form of the beads by magnetic-calcium alginate, non magnetic-calcium alginate and acrylamide polymerization. Magnetic immobilized yeast, nonmagnetic immobilized yeast and polyacrylamide immobilized yeast were compared in respect of their pH stability, thermostability, heat tolerance, the relation between the concetration of native yeast and retained activity of immobilized yeast, the activity depending on bead size of immobilized yeast, and the effects of magnesium and cobalt on the activities. The more small bead had retained the higher activity for the three kinds of immobilized yeast. In case of 1.0mm diameter of beads, the retained activity was 40~50% for the all groups. The pH stability profile for the immobilized yeast showed a broad range of optimun activity while the native yeast gave a sharp pick for its optimun pH value. The thermostability was at the range of 25~55$^{\circ}$C for the immobilized yeast groups. It was investigated that the influent magnesium and cobalt concentration, and the relative activity have an influent on heat tolerance at steady state. Both protein content released from immobilized yeast and activity of immobilized yeast were changed after activation of immobilized yeast cell.

  • 오늘날 유기고분자기반 태양전지는 다른 태양전지와 비교될 정도로 낮은 광변환효율로 인해 효율향 상을 위한 많은 연구들이 진행되어 왔다. 그중 패터닝을 통한 광포집률과 charge carrier 수집효율이 증가되었다는 많은 보고들이 있었다. 따라서 우리는 200~1,400 nm polystyrene bead를 합성하여 air-liquid interfacial 방법을 이용해 2차원 육방조밀구조를 갖는 template를 형성하고 Nanosphere lithography (NSL)를 이용하여 대면적으로 균일한 poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS)를 패턴화하였다. 균일한 패턴형성을 측정하기위해 Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FE-SEM), image를 얻었으며, Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM)를 통해 형성된 패턴의 낙차 높이를 얻었고, Near IR-UV-Vis을 통해 bead size 변화에따라 얻어진 PEDOT:PSS 패턴의 반사율을 측 정하였다.

하이브리드 방식 (CNC+Laser)을 이용한 폴리머용접공정 (Hybrid (CNC+Laser) Process for Polymer Welding)

  • Polycarbonate (PC) and Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) were welded by a combination of a diode laser and a CNC machining center. Laser beam delivered through the transparent PC and was absorbed in an opaque ABS. Polymers were melted and joined by absorbed and conducted heat. Experiments were carried out by varying working distance from 44mm to 50mm for the focus spot diameter control, laser input power from 10W to 25W, and scanning speed from 100 to 400mm/min. The weld bead and cross-section were analyzed for weld quality, and tensile results were presented through the joint force measurement. With focus distance at 48mm, laser power with 20W, and welding speed at 300mm/min, experimental results showed the best welding quality which bead size was measured to be 3.75mm. The shear strength at the given condition was $22.8N/mm^2$. Considering tensile strength of ABS is $43N/mm^2$, shear strength was sufficient to hold two materials. A single process was possible in a CNC machining system, surface processing, hole machining and welding. As a result, the process cycle time was reduced to 25%. Compared to a typical process, specimens were fabricated in a single process, with high precision.

현탁중합으로 합성된 구형 PAN 수지의 구형 활성탄의 전구체로서의 활용 (Application of Suspension-Polymerized Spherical PAN beads as a Precursor of Spherical Activated Carbon)

  • Polyacrylonitrile was synthesized through suspension polymerization and then sieved to obtain spherical beads with a size of 200~510 ㎛. PAN was copolymerized with 2 mol% MMA monomer which is known to promote cyclization and crosslinking of nitrile group. The resonance cyclization reaction of the nitrile group in the synthesized PAN beads was observed near 170℃ with thermal analysis and FT-IR. The reaction conversion of the nitrile group in spherical beads was 23% during heat treatment, which was lower than that of the well-oriented PAN fiber used as a precursor of carbon fiber. This is because the stereo-regularity of molecular chains in the form of a random coil (spherical bead) is much lower than that of PAN fiber. It was confirmed that the compressive strength of the spherical PAN bead was greatly improved through the resonance cyclization and shrinkage according to the heat treatment, and it was also observed that the pores in PAN beads were formed after the heat treatment.

무기 필러가 유연기판용 폴리에틸렌나프탈레이트 필름 치수안정성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Inorganic Fillers on the Dimensional Stability of Poly(ethylene naphthalate) Film as a Flexible Substrate)

  • 광전소자용 유연기판으로 사용되는 폴리에틸렌나프탈레이트 필름의 치수안정성 향상을 위하여 첨가된 유리 비드와 유리 섬유가 필름의 열팽창계수와 광투과도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 첨가된 무기 필러의 함량이 증가할수록 열팽창계수와 광투과도가 감소함을 알 수 있었다. 무기 필러의 크기, 입도 분포 또한 유연기판의 치수안정성과 광투과도에 영향을 미치는 주요한 요인임을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구 결과, 유연기판으로 사용 가능한 85% 이상의 광투과도를 유지하면서 폴리에틸렌나프탈레이트의 고유 치수안전성을 50% 이상 감소시키는 무기 필러의 함량은 5 wt% 내외임을 알 수 있었다.

필터 블록을 이용한 하천용수 취수시스템의 유량특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Characteristics of Flowrate for the Intake System using the Filter Block)

  • 하도 내 보를 설치하지 않고 용수를 취수할 수 있는 필터 블록으로 구성된 하천용수 취수시스템이 제안되었다. 이를 하천에 적용하기 위해 수리학적 특성에 관한 분석이 반드시 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 필터 블록으로 구성된 하천용수 취수시스템을 통과하는 유량특성에 대한 수리실험을 수행하였다. 실험수로 바닥에 사석 및 구슬을 이용하여 필터 블록을 구현하였고 다양한 유량조건에서 실험을 수행하여 취수시스템으로 통과하는 유량을 측정하였다. 취수시스템으로 접근하는 수심이 증가할수록 취수시스템으로 전환되는 유량이 증가하는 것으로 나타났고 Froude 수가 증가하면 전환되는 유량이 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 이러한 경향은 취수시스템의 필터 블록 특성과 관계없이 동일하게 나타났다. 유량계수는 Froude 수에 관계없이 일정한 값을 나타냈지만 필터 블록의 사석 및 구슬의 입경에 따라 변화하였고 필터 블록 재료의 입경에 0.6승으로 증가함을 보였다.

Cyclosporin A 고정상 발효에서 효율인자의 계산을 통한 고정화 담체의 최적크기 결정 (Determination of Optimum Bead Size by Calculating Effectiveness Factors in Cyclosporin A Fermentation by Immobilized Cells)

  • Cyclosporin A 고정화배양과 현탁배양의 결과를 바탕으로 각각의 배양의 경우에 따른 비성장속도의 포도당에 대한 Monod 속도식을 제안하고 그에 필요 한 매개변수들을 구하였다. 고정화 배양이 현탁배양 에 비해 높은 ${\mu}m$와 낮은 Km 값을 갖는 것으로 나 타났는데 이는 고정화 균체의 우수한 활성과 기질에 대한 높은 친화도에 기 인한 것으로 보인다. 고정상 발효의 경우, 구한 매개변수들을 담체내에서의 물질 전달 및 반응속도의 정도를 나타내는 효율인자 값을 계산하는데 이용하였다. 중요한 고정화 공정변수인 담체크기, 균체부하의 정도가 기질의 확산저항에 미 치는 영향을 고려하여 효율인자값을 계산한 결과, 적절한 담체의 크기는 반경 $100 ~ 500{\mu}m$로 나타났 다. 고정화세포배양시 담체내의 균체의 균일한 분포 및 활성도의 유지를 위해서, 적정한 담체입자크기를 결정한 후 균체부하량을 조절하여 고정화 공정을 운 영하는 것이 중요한 것요로 판명되었다.
