플랫 벤치 프레스 동작 시 하지의 지지유형이 대흉근과 척추기립근의 근 활성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of lower limb's support type on pectoralis major and erector spinae muscle activity during flat bench press)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 플랫 벤치 프레스에서 하지를 지면에 지지한 자세와 하지를 벤치에 지지한 자세에서의 동작 수행 시 대흉근 및 척추기립근의 근 활성 분석을 통해 벤치 프레스 응용동작에 뒷받침 할 만 한 근거자료를 찾고, 운동수행에 관한 효율적인 기초자료를 제시하는데 있다. 대상자는 아마추어 보디빌더 4명, 헬스 트레이너 2명으로 선정하였다. 측정을 위해 연구대상들의 대흉근과 척추기립근에 표면전극을 부착하였다. 벤치 프레스에 대한 동작구간을 설정하고 하지를 지면에 지지한 동작과 하지를 벤치에 지지한 동작으로 나눠 피험자별 10RM으로 각각 1세트씩 실시하는 방식으로 진행하였다. 데이터는 SPSS 20.0을 통하여 분석하였으며 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 플랫 벤치 프레스 동작 시 하지의 지지 유형이 대흉근에는 영향을 미치지 않았지만, 척추기립근에서는 차이가 나타났다.

서울 및 근교에 거주하는 한국인의 연령별 식생활 비교 및 평가 : (3) 만성퇴행성질환의 위험요인 (Comparative Analysis and Evaluation of Dietary Intakes of Koreans by Age Groups : (3) Risk Factors for Chromic Degenerative Diseases)

  • This study was performed to analyse some rick ffactors for chronic degenerative diseases of the Korean dict. The study subjects consisted of preschool children(PC), elementary school children(EC), high school students(HS), college students(CS), and adults over 30 years old living in Seoul and the surrounding areas. The subjects over 30 years old were classfied to 30-49 years, 50-69 years, and over 70 years. A dietary survey was conducted using 24-hour recall method and data were collected from 2392 subjects. The dietary risks for chronic degenerative disease such as food sources of fat consumption, high cholesterol intake, low dietary fiber intake, and low calcium intake and high protein intake were analyzed. Younger subjects had more animal fat proportion than older subjects did. HS and CS had the least fat proportion from fishes and shellfishes. Each mean cholesterol intake of PC, EC, HS, and CS was over 300mg/day, and HS load the highest level of 415mg/day. Cholesterol density of the diet of PC was the highest of 175mg/1000kcal and the level decreased when the age increased. The subjects consuming cholesterol over 100 mg/1000kca1 were about 70% of PC and HS. More than 20% of PC, EC, and HS consumed calcium under 75% of RDA with protein consumption over 125% of RDA. Dietary fiber intakes were 18g for HS, CS, 30-49 years, and 50 ∼ 69 years, 14g for EC and over 70 years, and 12g for PC. Ninety percent of PC and EC, 80% of HS and CS, and 70% of tole subjccts over 30years consumed dietary fiber under the level of 10g/1000kca1. The major food sources of dietary fiber were vegetables and grains. From these results, children and adolescents had ricks for chronic degenerative diseases on all the analyzed items. The results of this study would provide the basic information for development of dietary interventions to improve diet find health.

GEN_BLOCK간 재분산을 위한 통신 스케줄 (Communication Schedule for GEN_BLOCK Redistribution)

  • 배열 재분산은 분산 메모리 컴퓨팅 환경에서 응용 프로그램의 수행 속도를 빠르게 하기 위해 많이 사용되고 있다. 특히 GEN BLOCK간 재분산은 동적으로 부하가 변화하는 경우 최적화된 성능을 보이기 위해 필요하다. 배열 재분산에 관한 기존 연구들은 대부분 CYCLIC(N)등과 같은 정규 분산 패턴간 재분산에 대해서만 이루어져 왔다. 그러나 GEN BLOCK등과 같은 비정규 분산 패턴간 재분산에서 발생하는 메시지패싱들은 정규 분산 패턴간 재분산과는 다른 특정을 보이기 때문에 이에 대한 새로운 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문은 GEN BLOCK간 재분산에서 발생하는 메시지패싱들에 정규 분산 패턴간 재분산에서 발견되 는 규칙성은 없는 반면 공간 지역성 (spacial locality)이 존재함을 보이고, 이를 기반으로 최소 스텝 정리와 최소 크기 정리가 재분산의 성능을 향상시키는데 중요함을 증병하였으며, 기존의 리스트 스케줄링 방식에 재구성 단계(relocation phase)를 추가함으로써 최적 스케줄을 생성하는 알고리즘을 제시하였다. 마지막으로 제안한 알고리즘의 성능을 평가하기 위해 , CRAY T3E와 IBM SP2에서 성능 평가를 수행 하였으며, 그 결과 분산 메모리 병렬 머신에서 최소 스텝 정리와 최소 크기 정리를 만족하는 스케줄이 GEN BLOCK간 재분산의 성능 향상에 중요함을 보였다.

A new precast wall connection subjected to monotonic loading

  • Final construction project cost is significantly determined by construction rate. The Industrialized Building System (IBS) was promoted to enhance the importance of prefabrication technology rather than conventional methods in construction. Ensuring the stability of a building constructed by using IBS is a challenging issue. Accordingly, the connections in a prefabricated building have a basic, natural, and essential role in providing the best continuity among the members of the building. Deficiencies of conventional precast connections were observed when precast buildings experience a large induced load, such as earthquakes and other disasters. Thus, researchers aim to determine the behavior of precast concrete structure with a specific type of connection. To clarify this problem, this study investigates the capacity behavior of precast concrete panel connections for industrial buildings with a new type of precast wall-to-wall connection (i.e., U-shaped steel channel connection). This capacity behavior is compared with the capacity behavior of precast concrete panel connections for industrial buildings that used a common approach (i.e., loop connection), which is subjected to monotonic loading as in-plane and out-of-plane loading by developing a finite element model. The principal stress distribution, deformation of concrete panels and welded wire mesh (BRC) reinforcements, plastic strain trend in the concrete panels and connections, and crack propagations are investigated for the aforementioned connection. Pushover analysis revealed that loop connections have significant defects in terms of strength for in-plane and out-of-plane loads at three translational degrees of freedom compared with the U-shaped steel channel connection.

Effect of internal angles between limbs of cross plan shaped tall building under wind load

  • The present study revealed comparison the pressure distribution on the surfaces of regular cross plan shaped building with angular cross plan shaped building which is being transformed from basic cross plan shaped building through the variation of internal angles between limbs by $15^{\circ}$ for various wind incidence angle from $0^{\circ}$ to $180^{\circ}$ at an interval of $30^{\circ}$. In order to maintain the area same the limbs sizes are slightly increased accordingly. Numerical analysis has been carried out to generate similar nature of flow condition as per IS: 875 (Part -III):1987 (a mean wind velocity of 10 m/s) by using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) with help of ANSYS CFX ($k-{\varepsilon}$ model). The variation of mean pressure coefficients, pressure distribution over the surface, flow pattern and force coefficient are evaluated for each cases and represented graphically to understand extent of nonconformities due to such angular modifications in plan. Finally regular cross shaped building results are compared with wind tunnel results obtained from similar '+' shaped building study with similar flow condition. Reduction in along wind force coefficients for angular crossed shaped building, observed for various skew angles leads to develop lesser along wind force on building compared to regular crossed shaped building and square plan shaped building. Interference effect within the internal faces are observed in particular faces of building for both cases, considerably. Significant deviation is noticed in wind induced responses for angular cross building compared to regular cross shaped building for different direction wind flow.

선형절삭시험에 의한 슬림 코니컬커터의 절삭성능 평가(I): Attack Angle 변화에 의한 결과 (Performance estimation of conical picks with slim design by the linear cutting test (I): depending on attack angle variation)

  • 본 연구에서는 로드헤더 커팅헤드 설계의 기본 사항인 절삭조건에 따른 커터작용력의 변화를 살펴보는 기초 연구를 진행하기 위하여 연암 및 보통암을 대상으로 하는 슬림 코니컬커터를 사용하여 받음각과 커터관입깊이, 커터간격의 조건에 따른 선형절삭시험을 수행하였다. 각 시험조건에서 커터작용력인 연직력, 절삭력, 구동력을 측정하였고 그 측정결과의 평균값을 사용하여 분석을 실시하였다. S/d비와 비에너지의 관계, 관입깊이와 비에너지의 관계, S/d비와 커터작용력의 관계로부터 받음각이 $50^{\circ}$, 커터간격이 12 mm, 커터관입깊이가 9 mm인 조건이 모르타르시험체에 대한 최적의 절삭조건임을 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 받음각이 $50^{\circ}$인 경우가 $45^{\circ}$인 경우에 비해 장비사양 설계를 위해 더 효과적임을 알 수 있었다.

건설현장 물체에 맞음 사고 저감을 위한 줄걸이 작업 전문 자격제도 도입에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Introduction of a Rigging and Slinging Certificate System to Reduce a Struck by Object Accidents)

  • According to 'The Analysis of Industrial Accidents in 2016' by Ministry of Employment and Labor, the number of deaths caused by accidents in the construction field is 391, accounting for 47% of 826 industrial fatalities in all industries. The breakdown of the 391 fatalities of the construction industry shows that 'struck by an object' accident had 30 fatalities, the 3rd in frequency following falling (235) and crashing (32) accidents. This study aims to explore ways to reduce the 'struck by an object' accident with emphasis on safety education and certificate system for rigging and slinging works. This study reviews literature on rigging and slinging works and analyzes 'struck by an object' accidents. The rules and regulation on the rigging and slinging works are also reviewed both for Korea and other countries with best practices in construction safety such as Singapore, Japan, U.K., and U.S. The rigging and slinging certificate systems of those countries are also reviewed to find any advantage in the construction safety management. In addition, a pilot rigging and slinging certificate system was executed in one of domestic construction site followed by two surveys: one on the riggers who participated in the pilot operation and the other on general managers in domestic construction sites. Based on the analysis of the 'struck by an object' accidents and pilot operation, this study proposes a rigging and slinging certificate system to reduce accidents, enhancing safety condition of construction sites. The certificate system was proposed in a way to accommodate working practice of construction sites. Depending on rigging careers and a crane load capacity, riggers are eligible to apply either basic or master certificate which makes difference in the level of rigging works. The safety condition of rigging and slinging work could be substantially enhanced if workers, managers, supervisors, administrators, and policy makers work together consistently.

시뮬레이션과 메타모델을 이용한 자동물류센터 설계 최적화 (A Study for Design Optimization of an Automated Distribution Center using the Simulation and Metamodel)

  • 최근의 자동물류센터는 자동창고(ASRS)와 자동주행대차(AGV)를 중심으로 각종 컨베이어시스템과 운반장치 등으로 구성되면서 매우 복잡한 시스템 형태를 갖게 되었다. 이러한 시스템의 복잡성에 기인하여 시스템 설계과정에서의 정확한 운영 수행도 파악을 위해서는 많은 종류의 설계변수들이 고려되어야 한다. 물류센터 설계에서 고려해야할 일반적인 설계 변수로는 보관설비 및 운반설비의 사양과 여러 가지 시스템 운영 규칙, 보관영역이나 보관물의 형태 등이 있다. 이 논문에서는 자동화물류센터에 대하여 시뮬레이션 실험과 반응표면모델을 이용하여 메타모델을 만들고 이를 통하여 설계변수들을 최적화하는 효율적인 방법에 대하여 소개 하고자 한다. 정확하게 정의된 시뮬레이션 기반의 메타모델은 시스템 함수의 근사적 표현으로서 수리적 계산을 통해 신속한 설계변수 최적화를 가능하게 한다. 이 논문에서 제시한 접근 방법은 자동물류센터와 같은 복잡한 물류 시스템의 설계 단계에서 시뮬레이션의 설계 참여도를 극대화시키고 최종 설계의 정확도를 향상시키는데 기여 할 것이다.

  • 관측위성으로부터 획득된 영상데이터를 지상국에 효율적으로 전송하기 위해 2축 짐벌 형태의 지향성 X-band 안테나가 적용되고 있으며, 안테나의 고속 정밀지향성 확보를 위해 구비된 모터 및 기어 간의 부정확한 맞물림으로부터 발생되는 미소진동은 영상품질 저하의 원인으로 작용한다. 고해상도 관측위성의 지향성능 향상을 통한 고해상도 영상정보 획득을 위해서는 안테나 구동시 발생하는 미소진동이 주요 임무장비에 전달되지 않도록 미소진동 절연이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 X-band 안테나의 미소진동절연을 목적으로 의탄성 SMA 메쉬와셔 진동 절연기를 제안하였으며, 정하중 시험을 통해 진동 절연기의 기본 특성을 확인하였다. 또한, X-band 안테나의 미소진동 시험을 통해 진동절연기 유무에 따른 진동절연성능을 비교 및 분석 하였다.

A Mathematical Approach to Allocate the Contributions by Applying UPFCs to Transmission System Usage

  • Competitive electricity markets necessitate equitable methods for allocating transmission usage in order to set transmission usage charges and congestion charges in an unbiased and an open-accessed basis. So in competitive markets it is usually necessary to trace the contribution of each participant to line usage, congestion charges and transmission losses, and then to calculate charges based on these contributions. A UPFC offers flexible power system control, and has the powerful advantage of providing, simultaneously and independently, real-time control of voltage, impedance and phase angle, which are the basic power system parameters on which sys-tem performance depends. Therefore, UPFC can be used efficiently and flexibly to optimize line utilization and increase system capability and to enhance transmission stability and dampen system oscillations. In this paper, a mathematical approach to allocate the contributions of system users and UPFCs to transmission system usage is presented. The paper uses a dc-based load flow modeling of UPFC-inserted transmission lines in which the injection model of the UPFC is used. The relationships presented in the paper showed modified distribution factors that modeled impact of utilizing UPFCs on line flows and system usage. The derived relationships show how bus voltage angles are attributed to each of changes in generation, injections of UPFC, and changes in admittance matrix caused by inserting UPFCs in lines. The relationships derived are applied to two test systems. The results illustrate how transmission usage would be affected when UPFC is utilized. The relationships derived can be adopted for the purpose of allocating usage and payments to users of transmission network and owners of UPFCs used in the network. The relationships can be modified or extended for other control devices.
