근사 자코비안 연산자를 이용한 탄성 지지부를 갖는 로봇 시스템의 제어 (Control of Robot System on the Elastic Base by Approximate Jacobian Operators)

  • This paper presents a study on the position tracking control of a robot system on the uncertain elastic base. The elastic bathe is a nonholonomic system but it can be changed into holonomic system, which is much easier to analyze, by modeling an elastic base as a virtual robot that has passive joints. Also, Jacobian operators, which represent the overall robot system including base movement, are defined and applied to the changed model. However, because base movements are not known, the exact Jacobian operators can't be estimated. The control algorithm proposed is that uses only Jacobians of a real robot as approximate Jacobian operators. Therefore the approximate Jacobian operators compensate the measured errors from external sensors. The proposed control strategy is evaluated by the simulation and experiment of a single-axis robot system on the elastic base.

Development and Verification of Make-up Base Containing Aloe

  • Aloe is a popular and effective agent used to cosmetic ingredient. It could replace artificial pigment on make-up base product and it is highly probable that might be useful as ingredients of multi-functional color cosmetic. In this study, we made a makeup base containing aloe extract and tested the effectiveness, safety and stability. Contents of polyphenol and flavonoid from the aloe extract were measured. To determine the antimicrobial effect from the aloe we used the paper disc diffusion method. We assessed the safety of make-up base containing aloe to cultured macrophage RAW 264.7 cells by MTT assay. Polyphenol contents of aloe extract and flavonoid respectively were 48 mg/g and 10 mg/g, in the 10 % concentration aloe extract. In case of aloe make-up base, the clear zone against Stapylococcus epidermidis was 9~11 mm and Stapylococcus aureus was also 9~11 mm. Growth activity of macrophage RAW 264.7 cells was over 80% in all concentration of make-up base containing aloe and general make base product. In conclusion aloe extract may be able to substitute the synthetic pigments and considered to be uses for ingredients multi-functional color cosmetic's ingredient.

  • 고도화된 무기체계와 복잡한 전략으로 인하여 지휘관이 분석하고 판단해야 할 정보의 복잡도가 증가하고 있다. 지휘관의 적시적 판단을 위해서 전장의 정보를 지식화하고 분석할 수 있는 지능형 서비스가 필요하다. 지능형 서비스는 전장상황 정보로부터 지식을 추출하는 단계와 지식베이스를 구축하는 단계, 지식베이스로부터 전장상황을 분석하는 단계로 구성된다. 본 논문은 두 번째 단계에서 구축 완료된 지식베이스를 임베딩함으로써 입력 쿼리와 유사한 정보를 추출하는 방안을 연구한다. 지식베이스 임베딩을 위해 문장화 과정이 필요하며 random-walk 알고리즘을 적용한다. 문장화된 정보는 Word2Vec을 활용하여 벡터화되고 코사인 유사도를 통해 입력 쿼리와 유사한 정보를 찾는다. 본 논문에서는 오픈 지식베이스로부터 98개 개체를 기준으로 980개의 문장을 생성하고 100차원의 벡터로 임베딩함으로써 코사인 유사도 기반 유사 개체가 추출됨을 확인했다.

언간에 나타나는 어기활용형에 대한 고찰 (On the base inflectional forms of Korean old vernacular letters)

  • 언간자료에는 '--'를 접사로 취하는 단어들 중에 어간의 일부가 된 '--'와 그에 뒤따르는 어미들이 생략되어 나타나는 경우가 빈번하게 나타난다. 이를 어기활용형이라 칭하고 언간에 나타나는 어기활용형의 기능 및 형대론적, 통사론적 제약을 살펴보았다. 제한된 시간 속에서 운필의 노력과 시간을 절약하기 위해 언간에서 독특하게 발달한 형식이 어기활용형이다. '-'구성에서 필수적인 내용은 'X'가 모두 가지고 있고 '--'와 뒤따르는 어미는 형식적인 기능만을 담당하기 때문에 어기 'X'만 남기고 후행성분은 과감히 생략하게 된 것이다. 어기활용형이 언어수행 상 나타나는 수의적인 언어현상이긴 하지만, 모든 조건에서 일어날 수 있는 것은 아니다. 가장 기본적인 문법적 기능만을 가지는 '-, -, -, -, -'가 쉽게 생략될 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 언간자료에서 어기활용형을 구성하는 어기는 [+동작성]이든 [-동작성]이든 모두 서술성을 갖는다는 공통점이 있다. 이 시기의 파생접사 '--'는 어휘적 의미는 전혀 갖지 못하고 형식적 기능만을 갖고 있다. 이러한 이유로 '서술성어기+--'구성은 언어수행 면에서 어떤 조건만 주어지면 파생접사 '--'가 쉽게 생략될 수 있었다.

골판지의 와프 현상발생에 대한 원지 특성의 영향 (Effect of Base Paper Properties on Warp of Corrugated Board)

  • Basically corrugated board is composed of three layers of different basis weight and stock composition. Warp is well-known for one of the most important problems of corrugated board production. Warp is caused by difference of hygro-expansibility of linears between top and bottom. This research was performed to evaluate the effect of paper properties on the warp of corrugated board. To evaluate warp, dynamic expansion properties of paper was tested using DPM(dynamic penetration measuring system). The effects of sizing, stock composition and wet-pressing on dynamic expansion properties were also evaluated. Commercial base papers showed different dynamic expansion property depending on stock composition and papermaking operation. Sizing treatment decreased and wet-pressing increased the amount of dynamic expansion. To reduce warp of corrugated board, management of dynamic expansion of base papers should be controlled by manipulating moisture, heat and tension, using a variety of adjustments available on the corrugator.

국산 신문 용지에서 산화전분에 의한 표면 사이징 처리가 인쇄적성에 미치는 영향 (The Surface Sizing Effect of Oxidized Starch on the Printability of Newspaper)

  • This research was carried out to investigated the effect of base paper and latex binder on printability and obtical properties of coated paper. Especially, it examined the effect of th pH of vase paper surface and functional groups of latices on the interactions between coating color components and on the structure of coated layer. It was found that the behavior of coating color containing amphoeric latex depends on the pH in the boundary region between coating color and base paper. Thus, the coating color formulated with amphoteric latex formed bulky coating layer by inducing stronger interaction between paper surface and coating components than the coating color with anionic latex. The coated paper with amphoteric latex showed better optical properties (i.e.gloss and optical) and printability (i.e. ink receptivity, wet ink receptivity, and ink set off) than the conventional anionic latex in the acidic and alkaline paper. However, dry pick strength of the coated paper was less decreased. This result indicated that amphoteric latex could also be applied practically to the alkaline paper.

이동 통신 시스템에서 기지국 위치의 최적화 (Base Station Location Optimization in Mobile Communication System)

  • 이동 무선 통신 시스템을 설계할 때 기지국의 위치는 매우 중요한 파라미터 중 하나이다. 기지국 위치를 설계할 때 여러 가지 복잡한 변수들을 잘 조합하여 코스트가 최소가 되도록 설계해야 한다. 이러한 문제를 해결하는데 필요한 알고리즘이 조합 최적화 알고리즘이며, 지금까지 조합 최적화 기술로 Random Walk, Simulated Annealing, Tabu Search, Genetic Algorithm과 같은 전역 최적화 기술이 사용되어 왔다. 본 논문은 이동 통신시스템의 기지국 위치 최적화에 위의 4가지 알고리즘들을 적용하여 각 알고리즘의 결과를 비교 분석하며 알고리즘에 의한 최적화 과정을 보여준다.

  • In this paper, we have proposed the pattern adjustable base station antenna for WCDMA applications. The proposed antenna consists of an omni-antenna(sleeve monopole) and two movable reflectors. The two reflectors can be controlled by mechanically and used to adjust the horizontal pattern of the base station antenna. The antenna was designed, fabricated, and measured. The antenna covers the entire WCDMA band for VSWR<1.4. The measured antenna gain is more than 15 dBi over the operating frequency range. By changing the angle (a) and the distance (d) of the antenna, the pattern adjustment of the proposed base station antenna is found to be possible.

  • Indoor localization is getting more and more importance with the increasing demand for location based service. Location based service necessarily requires the information about customers' locations to provide them the right service according to their changing locations. To satisfy that requirement, GPS is used to achieve outdoor localization. However, there is no leading technology to achieve indoor localization. Indoor localization through UWB wave and TDOA algorithm is considered as the most accurate method until now. In implementing that method, configuration of base stations that serve as control points affects the localization accuracy. Thus, this paper discusses about optimal configuration of base stations. The variation in localization accuracy according to spatial relationship between an object and base stations Is mentioned through SEP also.

  • This paper concerns on a non-rotating axis-active magnetic bearing (AMB) system subject to base motion. In such a system, it is desirable to retain the axis within the predetermined air-gap. Motivated from this, an optimal acceleration feedforward control is proposed to reduce the base motion response without deteriorating other feedback control performances. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed feedforward control reduces the air-gap deviation to 29% that by feedback control alone.
