철도시설물 인접굴착공사에 따른 운행선 궤도의 궤도틀림 영향 평가 (Evaluation of Track Irregularity Effect due to Adjacent Excavation on Serviced Railway Line)

  • 본 연구는 도시철도 및 고속철도 선로를 근접하여 통과하는 신설 터널 시공현황 및 지반조건을 모사하고 레일, 침목 및 궤도의 탄성스프링으로 구성되는 궤도모델을 적용한 수치모델을 이용하여 3차원 정밀수치해석을 수행한 연구이다. 철도시설물 인접굴착공사에 따른 기존 선로시설물의 궤도변형 안정성 검토를 수행한 결과, 대상 선로의 궤도틀림은 국내 궤도틀림 평가기준에 제시된 일반철도 및 고속철도의 평가기준(허용값)을 모두 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. 궤도모델이 적용된 수치해석을 바탕으로 굴착 공사에 따른 운행선 선로의 변형(궤도틀림) 예측 결과와 실제 현장에서 발생되는 궤도변형의 수준을 가급적 근사한 수준으로 모사할 수 있을 것으로 분석되었다.

Three-dimensional finite element analysis of the interference of adjacent moving trains resting on a ballasted railway track system

  • High-speed trains became common nowadays due to the need for fast and safe mean to transport goods and people. However, the use of high-speed trains necessitates the examination of the critical speed, which is the train speed at which the maximum settlement of the railway track occurs. The critical speed and railway track settlement have been investigated considering only one train in previous studies. However, it is normal to have two adjacent trains moving at the same time. This paper aims to understand how the interference of two moving trains affects the settlement and critical speed of ballasted railway track. Calibrated three-dimensional finite element models of railway track subjected to one moving train and two moving trains have been developed to address the aim of the study. It is found that the interference dramatically increases the railway track settlement with a percentage increase ranges between 5 and 100%. It is also found that the percentage increase of the railway track settlement depends on the train speed and the distance between the moving trains. In addition, it is found that the thickness of the ballast layer and the stiffness of the subgrade have minor influence on the percentage increase of the settlement. Importantly, the results of this paper illustrate the importance of the interference of the moving trains on the dynamic response of the railway track. Thus, there is a need to consider the dynamic interaction between the adjacent moving trains in the design of railway track foundation.

일반철도와 고속철도의 강화노반두께에 관한 연구 (Study on the Reinforcing Subgrade Depths of Highspeed and Conventional Railroads)

  • The reinforcing subgrade, which first introduced Korea for the highspeed subgrade construction, has the many advantages to maintain the quality of ballast track as well as to prevent the softening of subgrade by mud-pumping. It causes the subgrade soil to spout into the ballast on many lines. Therefore, the application of reinforcing subgrade will be expected to increase in the future. This paper introduces the reinforcing subgrade as a maintenance-free technology f3r the railroad operation and the method f3r the determination of reinforcing subgrade depth. The criteria on reinforcing subgrade depths of highspeed and conventional railroad were verified from the calculation results based on an elastic analysis method.

  • The CWR of the plate girder bridges in non-ballast causes the additional axial force on the rail and the bearing due to the temperature axial force and the interaction between the CWR and bridges. This study shows the remarkable improvement of reducing the axial force of the CWR on the non-ballast bridge, compared to conventional methods. New method, which is differently designed in terms of longitudinal semi-rigid bearing, reduces the axial force on the bearing by making the girder act both directions. This method is applicable to most cases of bridges regardless of the restriction of length, and useful to reduce the abrasion and damage of the track material.

접속부의 강성완화를 위한 Approach zone의 매개분석 (Approach zone of parametric analysis for hardness mitigation of connection)

  • When vehicles pass the connection between the bridge and earthwork, the difference of both sections' stiffness produces an increasing wheelload. As a consequence, it results in the excessive vibration of vehicles and the damage of bearing system. In general, steel plate girder railway bridges without ballast track have larger stiffness than the bridge with ballast, and produces larger impulse on the bridge superstructure. Thus, it is necessary to reduce the differences of both stiffness. This study presents parametric studies on the behavior of plate girder bridges and their tracks by means of various stiffnesses and the length of approach zone. The results of numerical study showed that the smaller the stiffness of both sides and the longer the length of approach zone, the variation of wheelload becomes smaller. Hence, it gives less burden into the plate girder bridges and their tracks. It is expected that the results of parametric study can be used as a preliminary data for the determination of economical length on the approach zone and the stiffness of both sides.

  • 콘크리트궤도는 유지보수상의 장점으로 인하여 자갈궤도를 급속히 대체하고 있다. 반면에 보수보강이 어렵기 때문에 매우 엄격한 설계와 시공기술이 필요하며 이러한 기술을 만족하기 위해서는 평가기술 또한 뒷받침이 되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같이 시공 및 유지보수의 핀 평가기술을 확보하기 위한 방안으로서 탄성파를 이용하는 비파괴조사기법을 다양하게 적용하였다. 사용된 기법은 SASW시험, 임팩트에코시험, 연속임팩트에코시험이다. 시험은 49개의 프리캐스트 판넬의 강성구조와 충진성능을 평가하는 목적으로 총 5,353회에 걸쳐 수행되었다. 적용 결과, 콘크리트재료 자체의 비균질성으로 인하여 탄성파시험의 적용 및 분석이 제한적이지만 본 논문에서 목적하는 슬래브의 강성구조과 충전성(공극)에 대한 신뢰성 있는 조사 결과를 얻을 수 있을 것으로 나타났다.

도시철도 교량상 급곡선 자갈궤도용 콘크리트침목 손상원인 분석 (Damage Cause Analysis of Concrete Sleepers for Sharp Curved Track on Urban Railway Bridge)

  • 약 본 연구에서는 도시철도 교량상 급곡선(R=180m) 구간에 부설되어 있는 침목 하부에 방진패드가 부착된 자갈도상 궤도구조의 콘크리트침목 손상유형에 대한 원인을 검토하고, 침목중량화 및 도상자갈 개량에 따른 콘크리트침목의 손상저감 효과를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 대상 교량에 부설되어 있는 콘크리트침목의 손상(균열) 발생 유형을 조사하였으며, 종합검측차를 활용하여 획득한 궤도틀림과의 상관관계를 통해 비교·분석하였다. 또한 수치해석 프로그램을 활용하여 궤도구조별 콘크리트침목 구성품에 발생하는 응력을 검토하여 개량에 따른 콘크리트침목의 손상 저감 효과를 입증하였다. 분석결과 궤도틀림이 심한 구간에서 침목의 축방향 균열이 주로 발생하였으며, 수치해석결과 궤도구성품 및 콘크리트침목에 발생하는 응력은 4-Anchor를 사용하는 체결구조에서 하중 분산 효과에 따라 발생하는 응력 수준은 작게 나타났다.

운행선상의 연약노반 시험부설구간에서의 장기계측을 통한 거동 특성 (Characteristics of Behavior of the Soft Roadbed through Long-Term Instrumentation on the Field Test)

  • As one of reinforcing methods for soft roadbed, the problems that mud-pumping and settlement occurred by soft roadbed, were investigated, evaluated and analyzed through installing relatively economical and efficient geosynthetics on the selected track-bed for testing. Mock-heang to Dong-ryang on the filed resting sections in the Chung-buk lines were selected as investigating the state of track and prepared field after selecting three of 1,700 spots which often make mud-pumping and requiting maintenance for that. Long curved line radiuses(R) of Mock-heang to Dong-ryang are 500m that were installed with 4 types of geosynthetics layers and one ballast layer. Installed testing cross-section is 200m totally with 40 m between places. Strength or prepared roadbed was measured to investigate the state of roadbed and track with constructing(installing) field testing sections and physical properties of roadbed soils were evaluated and analyzed. Also, mud-pumping, settlement of elastic or plastic sleeper, failure or track, wheel-loads, transverse and earth pressures were measured after installing field testing sections.

궤도거동에 대한 H형 침목의 영향 (Effects of H-type Sleeper on the Track Behavior)

  • 최근 철도의 고속화에 따라 철도수송의 안전성에 대한 요구는 증가되며, 기존 선로에 더 무거운 축중의 차량이 운행토록 요구되고 있다. 이러한 요구를 충족하기 위하여 기존 선로의 레일의 중량을 증가시키고, 장대레일화를 진행해왔다. 최근 개발된 H형 침목은 기존의 일자형 PC침목에 비해 저항 특성이 높아 궤도 강성 증대와 궤도틀림 저감을 기대할 수 있으나, H형 침목 부설에 따른 궤도 특성 변화에 대한 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 3차원 유한요소해석을 통하여 H형 침목이 부설된 궤도의 특성을 분석하였다.

  • The Periodic replacements criterion of rail is calculated on the basis of the research result of RTRI in Japan. It is suggested that the service life of the continuous welded rail(CWR) is estimated by the relationship between the rail surface irregularity according to the accumulated passing tonnage and bending fatigue of welded part in CWR. In order to establish the periodic replacements criterion of CWR, this study measured the rail surface irregularity according to the accumulated passing tonnage, the types of track system and welding. Therefore, it is analyzed that the gas pressure welding is the worst one of the others. In addition, it is analyzed that the rail surface irregularity growth rate in ballast track is about $0.02{\sim}0.03mm$/100MGT and its in concrete track is about $0.005{\sim}0.02mm$/100MGT Finally, the result of this study is able to use the basis data to establishing the periodic replacements criterion of CWR considering rail grinding.
