확률적 이진 검색 트리 성능 추정 (Estimation of performance for random binary search trees)

  • 이진 트리 검색에 관한 관계 모형들을 추정하고 이론 가설들을 검정하기 위하여 중복되지 않는 자연수들을 자료로 하는 3개 이상 7개 이하의 노드를 가진 모든 가능한 이진 검색 트리 들을 생성하였다. 노드 개수 별로 높이 및 균형도 에 따른 이진 검색 트리 생성 확률들을 추정하였으며 노드 개수와 트리의 높이, 검색에 필요한 비교 횟수의 관계를 나타내는 회귀 모형이 구축되었고 이진 검색 트리의 O(1g(n)) 이론이 적합도 검정 절차에 의하여 실험적으로 채택되었다. 이진 검색 트리의 균형에 따른 검색 성능의 유의적 차이들을 통계적으로 증명하기 위하여 균형도에 따라 확률적으로 생성된 이진 검색 트리들을 세 그룹으로 그룹화하고 그룹간의 검색 비교 횟수를 분산 분석 모형에 의하여 비교 분석하였다.

거주지역 실내공기 특성 및 이산화질소 노출에 관한 연구 (Residence s Exposure to Nitrogen Dioxide and Indoor Air Characteristics)

  • Indoor air quality is affected by source strength of pollutants, ventilation rate, decay rate, outdoor level and so on. Although technologies exist to measure these factors directly, direct measurements of all factors are impractical in most field studies. The purpose of this study was to develop an alternative methods to estimate these factors by multiple measurements. Daily indoor and outdoor NO$_2$concentrations for 21 days in 20 houses in summer and winter, Seoul. Using a mass balance model and linear regression analysis, penetration factor (ventilation divided by sum of air exchange rate and deposition constant) and source strength factor(emission rate divided by sum of air exchange rate and deposition constant) were calculated. Subsequently, the ventilation and source strength were estimated. During sampling period, geometric mean of natural ventilation was estimated to be 1.10$\pm$1.53 ACH, assuming a residential NO$_2$decay rate of 0.8 hr$^{-1}$ in summer. In winter, natural ventilation was 0.75$\pm$1.31 ACH. And mean source strengths in summer and winter were 14.8ppb/hr and 22.4ppb/hr, respectively. Although the method showed similar finding previous studies, the study did not measure ACH or the source strength of the house directly. As validation of natural ventilations, infiltrations were measured with $CO_2$tracer gas in 18 houses. Relationship between ventilation and infiltration was statistically correlated (Pearson r=0.63, p=0.02).

부분적 체중부하를 통한 트레드밀 훈련이 만성요통환자의 균형능력과 기능장애, 통증에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Partial Weight Supported Treadmill Training on Balance, Dysfunction and Pain in Patients With Chronic Low Back Pain)

  • Background: Patients with chronic low back pain (CLBP) functionally adapt to decreased postural control due to impaired processing of sensory information. Standing postural control has been the focus of recent research in CLBP. Change in postural control may be a risk factor for CLBP, although available studies are not conclusive. Objects: This study aimed to identify the role of partial weight supported treadmill training (PWSTT) in improving balance, dysfunction, and pain in patients with chronic low back pain. Methods: The study included 22 patients with CLBP. Patients in the control group ($n_1=8$) performed three 20 min stabilization exercise sessions per week, for 4 weeks. Patients in the full weight treadmill training group ($n_2=7$) performed treadmill training for 30 min after stabilization exercise. Patients in the PWSTT group ($n_3=7$) performed PWSTT with 20% of their body weight unloaded after stabilization exercises. By using the Biodex balance system, the dynamic balance abilities of the patients in the three groups were assessed in the quiet standing position under combined conditions of visual feedback (eyes open and closed) and platform stability (level 8). The Korean version of the Oswestry Disability Index and visual analogue scale score were used as the main measure. Results: The results of this study showed that dysfunction and pain were significantly improved in all groups. Although dynamic postural stability with eyes closed was significantly improved only in the PWSTT group (p<.05), no significant difference was found in the other groups. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that PWSTT improved balance, dysfunction and pain in the patients with CLBP. Thus, this intervention is necessary for patients with CLBP with decreased postural control.

양궁 슈팅 시 균형성과 운동학적 요인이 양궁 점수에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Balance and Kinematic Factors on Archery Score during Archery Shooting)

  • 본 연구에서는 양궁 슈팅 시 양발의 균형성과 상지 분절 및 관절의 운동학적 분석을 실시하여 점수에 따른 차이를 비교분석 하였다. K대학교 엘리트 양궁선수 9명을 피험자로 선정하였으며, 70 m 거리에서 122 cm 표적지에 각각 3발씩 5엔드를 반복 측정하였다. 7대의 적외선 카메라(Qualisys, sweden)와 2대의 지면반력기(Kistler, Switerland)를 사용하여 상지 분절 및 관절의 움직임과 힘의 작용점(center of pressure [COP])를 산출하였다. 연구결과 양궁 선수가 8점을 쐈을 때, 9-10점을 쐈을 때보다 드로잉 암(drawing-arm)의 팔굽관절 운동범위와 왼발의 좌우 COP 범위가 크게 나타났다(p<.05). 양궁 경기에서 고득점을 유지하기 위해서는 지속적인 균형성이 요구되며, 특히 슈팅하는 순간 활을 지지하는 왼발의 균형성이 중요한 요인으로 작용한다. 또한 활을 지지하는 드로잉 암의 팔굽관절 움직임을 최소화하는 것이 안정적인 슈팅에 도움이 될 것이다.

Development of a Ventilation Model for Mushroom House Using Adiabatic Panel

  • In this study, a ventilation model was developed to determine a ventilation rate for the balance of heat, moisture and $CO_{2}$ in a mushroom house. Internal and external temperature, relative humidity and $CO_{2}$ concentration were measured and used to validate the ventilation model. The effects of various environmental factors on physiological responses of mushroom were also investigated. The verified model was simulated under the observed ventilation rates with a difference of$ 0.001{\~}0.065\;m^{3}{\cdot}S^{-1}$ (relative error of $0.3{\~}18.9\%$) when external temperature varied 22.5 to $24.8^{circ}C$ and average ventilation rates was $0.35m^{3}{\cdot}S^{-1}$. The optimal conditions for mushroom growth (internal temperature $22 ^{circ}C$, relative humidity $80\%$, $CO_{2}$ concentration 1,000 ppm) were used for the model application with external temperature, relative humidity and $CO_{2}$ concentration of $27.5{\~}33.5^{circ}C$, $60\%$, and 355 ppm, respectively. Thermal balance was a important factor for an optimum ventilation up to the external temperature of $32^{circ}C$, while $CO_{2}$ concentration balance was more important over $32^{circ}C$. This suggests that humidification for moisture balance is required to maintain temperature and $CO_{2}$ concentration at an optimal level by ventilation in a mushroom house.

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to verify the structural relationships among work-family balance, resilience, job satisfaction, parenting self-efficacy and happiness of double income couples with 3~5 years child(ren). Method: This study distributed structured self-reported questionnaires and used the data of 229 couples with 3~5 years child(ren) for an analysis. A confirmatory factor analysis was conducted for checking the measurement unity and a structural equation model was performed to reveal the structural relationship using AMOS software. Results: In a structural relationships among work-family balance, resilience, job satisfaction, parenting self-efficacy and happiness, a total of 13 paths appeared significant. The influence of the husband on the wife was more significant than that of the wife on the husband, and resilience was found to have a strong influence on the happiness of wife and husband. The work-family balance was different for wife and husband. Conclusion: These results suggest that it is necessary to develop various programs and approaches for the development of resilience to promote their happiness. As a policy direction in the future, with a goal of a shift to the paradigm, 'raising children together,' an institutional support should be prepared for the concretization of the formation and practice of the value of co-parenting children.

근로자(勤勞者)의 양생수준(養生水準)과 스트레스와의 관계(關係) (A Study on the Relations between Yangseng Level and Stress in Industrial Workers)

  • This study aims at grasping the relativity between laborers' yangseng level and stress so as to present the groundwork for preventive oriental medicine approach in industrial health. The researcher prepared the questionnaire on general character, health-related yangseng level and chose 632 people to execute Autonomic balance test through heartbeat change. The collected material was analyzed by SPSS and tested by T-test, ANOVA. The general yangseng level average is 3.27, morality yangseng 3.91, sleep yangseng 3.39, mind yangseng 3.32, sex life yangseng 3.29, exercise yangseng 3.14, activities and rest yangseng 3.07, diet yangseng 2.95, seasonal yangseng 2.84. The highest is morality yangseng and seasonal yangseng is the lowest. In the aspect of yangseng level : Having a spouse, Non-smoking, Non-drinking, Regular exercising, Sufficient sleeping have higher yanseng levels. In Autonomic balance test, age from 35 to 40 has the highest autonomic activity and job period from 5 years to 10 years has the highest stress resistance. Non-smokers have high autonomic activity and stress resistance. Further, have low autonomic balance, stress index and fatigue strength. In the case of regular exercising person, he/she has high autonomic activity and stress resistance with low stress index. Regarding sleeping time, autonomic balance is the highest when he/she sleeps less than 6 hours. Stress resistance is the highest when he/she sleeps 7 hours and stress index is the highest when he/she sleeps 6 hours. After comparing the relativity between yangseng level autonomic balance test, only exercise yangseng has plus factor on autonomic activity and stress resistance and minus factor on stress ind ex and fatigue strength. Yangseng level has been affected by individual character and daily habits. Also stress is more influenced by daily habits than by individual character. We can find the relativity of exercise yangseng between yangseng and stress which suggests that we need to take measures to win over stress in individual health in the near future.

  • The purpose of this study was to find out effect of problem solving by mental demand of items and chunking level of problem solver on the item. The principal findings of study were as follows ; 1) According to increase of mental demand of items. students' achievement score appeared to decrease and the more mental demand an item needed. the higher or at least the same hierarchical item was. These results showed that mental demand of item was main factor which decided difficulties of problem solving. 2) Though items have the same mental demand. students' achievement score were different between balance beam task and 2nd law task (achievement score of balance beam task < achievement score of 2nd law task). 3) Achievement score of LM group who used chunked knowledge to solve balance beam task were higher than non LM group who used non chunked knowledge. 4) The level of chunked knowledge was different between two tasks when non LM group solved items of two tasks. On the other hand, LM group used the same level of chunked knowledge to solve items of two tasks. 5) Achievement score of non LM group was the same between items of two tasks after treatment due to chunking effect by treatment. But achievement score of LM group didn't change before and after treatment. The chunking effect by treatment had an effect on non LM group, but it was not on LM group.

비선형 PID 제어기의 최적 설계및 실제 적용 (Optimal design and real application of nonlinear PID controllers)

  • This paper presents how nonlinear PID control algorithms can be applied on chemical processes for a more stable operation and perfect automation. A pass balance controller is designed to balance the exiting temperatures of a heater and a heat exchange network. The proposed controller has gain-varying integral action and deals with the operational constraints in an efficient manner. Also, the use of a PID gap controller is proposed to maximize energy saving and operation stability and to minimize operator intervention in operation of air fan coolers. The proposed controller adjusts the opening of a louver automatically in such a way that it keeps the air fan pitch position within the desired range. All these nonlinear PID controllers have been implemented on the distributed control system (DCS) for good reliability and operability. Operator acceptance was very high and the implemented controllers have shown good performance and high service factor still now on. The proposed methodology can be directly applied to similar processes without any modification.
